[00:15:23] Happiness is predicated on outside circumstances and situations, but the joy of the Lord is predicated only on who I know God to be in my life.
[00:15:34] So if you know a risen Savior that has blessed you, given you hope and courage, can you give Him a shout of praise in the room?

[00:17:02] And I just want to speak a little bit about this really briefly.
[00:17:05] This next summer, next May 2026, our youth ministry has the opportunity to go on our very first missions trip to El Salvador.

[00:17:16] It's going to be an amazing, amazing trip.
[00:17:20] And I don't know if you've ever been on a missions trip before, but those are some of the most life-changing moments that a student or even adult are ever going to go through in their walk with Jesus.
[00:17:32] Why?
[00:17:32] Because sometimes we can get caught up in our bubble here that we really are not aware of what's going on in other parts of the world.
[00:17:39] So to be able to go and see and minister and to be used of God, that is an amazing thing.
[00:17:45] Amen?
[00:17:46] and so what we do here at multiply is we give so that things like that can happen we give so that we can do things greater and reach more people than we could ever reach in and of our own selves that's why we give so that the gospel of jesus christ can be furthered and advanced farther than we could ever go amen so there's three ways to give this morning they're gonna be on the back screen behind me you can scan the qr code

[00:18:52] Lord, through this moment, Lord, would we recognize that even though we're giving of our tithes, our finances, Lord God, You're gonna do greater things with it than we could ever do.
[00:19:01] Lord, and so we give out of a heart of joy, out of a heart of gratitude, knowing that you've blessed our lives.
[00:19:07] Lord, I pray, Lord, in this moment, Lord, for the giver.
[00:19:11] Lord, for those that are giving in this offering this morning, would you bless their homes?
[00:19:15] Lord, bless their families, bless their children, bless the work of their hands.

We're going to step back into worship in just a moment because we're not done.
[00:26:50] The Lord is in this place today.
[00:26:56] He's so faithful when we don't know what we need, He knows what we need.
[00:26:59] When we don't know the words to speak, He places it on our hearts.
[00:27:05] So if you need a word from the Lord this morning, lean into the presence of God in this place.
[00:27:14] We're about to enter into a time of prayer, and I would invite the prayer team up with us right now.
[00:27:23] but I want to take a moment if you're a part of the prayer team you can go ahead and make your way forward but I want to take a moment because we're all experiencing emotions of the events that happened this past week with the killing of Charlie Kirk a man of faith a man of God
[00:27:45] someone who stood his ground and wasn't afraid to step up and step in for the moment to make Jesus Christ's name known and I can imagine the emotions I know for me personally they've been high and I want to remind us as a church what we're called to stand for when we don't know what to do we hit our knees and we pray
[00:28:15] When we don't know where to go, we hit our knees and pray.
[00:28:19] When we don't know the next step, when it may seem so dark, you don't know what to do, you step forth and you hit your knees and you say, God, I don't know what to do, I don't know where I'm going, but I know you're there before me, and you've paved the way.
[00:28:36] I want to read some scripture for us this morning.
[00:28:40] Found in the Gospel of John chapter 15.
[00:28:43] Many of us are familiar with this section of Scripture.
[00:28:46] Let me just remind us of what the Lord is telling us.
[00:28:48] Starting in verse 12.
[00:28:52] This is Jesus talking.
[00:28:53] He says, This is my commandment.
[00:28:55] Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
[00:28:59] There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.
[00:29:05] And then in verse 16, Jesus says, You didn't choose me.
[00:29:08] I chose you.
[00:29:12] I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit.
[00:29:19] Christ chose you.
[00:29:21] He chose you for a purpose.
[00:29:23] He chose you for a mission.
[00:29:28] And if anything, I'm reminded that we're called to stand in moments like this.
[00:29:34] We may have questions, we may have some fears and some doubts, but I'm telling you, our God is big enough to hold it.
[00:29:40] When you come before God and you ask Him three questions, you ask yourself this question, does He know?
[00:29:46] Does He know your situation?
[00:29:48] And the answer is absolutely yes.
[00:29:52] The second question is, is it too big for our God to handle?
[00:29:56] The answer is no.
[00:29:59] And the third question is, does He have a plan for your life?
[00:30:05] When you ask those three questions, you know that we serve a good and gracious and great God.
[00:30:11] And so as we step back into worship, whatever it is that you are going through in life, maybe you're in a great season and you just wanna pray alongside of one of our prayer team members, just to thank Him for how good He's been to you.
[00:30:31] Or maybe you're going through hell right now,
[00:30:34] I'm telling you when you enter into the presence of God and sometimes you just need someone to speak a word into your life don't let this moment go so whether it is hitting your knees at your chair or coming to pray with one of our trusted prayer partners let the Lord minister to you in this place because we as a church are going to stand we as a church are not going to back down we as a church are going to continue to press in when we need to press in
[00:31:03] because that's what we're called to do we are called to fight called to fight to make heaven crowded so Lord we say thank you Lord as we enter into this next song Father I pray that your spirit rains down on this place Father that there is nothing too small for us to bring to the foot of the cross
[00:31:27] Father, you know everything that's going on in our hearts and in our lives.
[00:31:32] Father, I lift up the Kirk family in this moment.
[00:31:35] Father, that you would just wrap your arms around Erica and their two little kids.
[00:31:39] Father, that they would know that you're there with them.
[00:31:43] Father, I pray a peace over this situation.
[00:31:47] Father, we know that we're not dealing with just things of this world, but it is purely demonic and we speak against the enemy in this place today, Father.
[00:31:54] That the enemy has no foothold, Father, because we know the end of the story, Lord.
[00:31:58] We know that you're in control.
[00:32:00] We know you have everything in your hands.
[00:32:03] So we submit it all to you.
[00:32:06] Father, in this time, I also lift up Frank Turek and his family who were there with him.
[00:32:13] He's spoken for this congregation just a few short years ago.
[00:32:18] Father, I pray that you protect his mind.
[00:32:21] I pray that you protect his heart.

[00:46:16] What does that mean to be in the presence of God?
[00:46:18] This is a rhetorical question.
[00:46:19] You'll have to raise your hand and answer it in that class.
[00:46:23] Who can enter the presence of God?
[00:46:25] How often should I enter the presence of God?
[00:46:28] Who needs the presence of God?
[00:46:31] If you don't raise your hand, you're lying.
[00:46:34] What happens in the presence of God?
[00:46:39] What do I do once I'm in the presence of God?
[00:46:42] The presence of God changes everything.
[00:46:47] The more I grow in the Lord, and please, hear my heart, I'm not here yet.
[00:46:51] I'm growing in the Lord just like you and I are together.
[00:46:56] But what I recognize in my life is that if I don't have the presence of God in my life, I'm not going to win.
[00:47:05] How many of us have made decisions over the last 30, 60, 90 days and you have not consulted the presence of God?
[00:47:13] And you wonder why all hell broke loose.
[00:47:18] See, so many times we rush to get things done.
[00:47:21] We rush to make decisions.
[00:47:22] We rush to do things and we don't consult.
[00:47:25] Say, God, what do you think about this?
[00:47:27] Holy Spirit, what do you think?
[00:47:30] I remember a time that I took a job that I know I shouldn't have taken.
[00:47:33] I know as clear as day.
[00:47:35] I walked in the interview and said, oh no, this is the devil.
[00:47:39] I shouldn't take the job, but I heard dollar signs.
[00:47:43] Don't judge me.
[00:47:44] You see them too.
[00:47:46] And I heard bonuses.
[00:47:50] I took the job when I know I shouldn't have taken it.
[00:47:54] Let go six months later.
[00:47:57] There's something about hearing the presence of God.
[00:47:59] There's something when you come to this corporate setting here and you step into worship and you get into the presence of God, God wants to speak to you something.
[00:48:07] But here's one thing I want to, the caveat is this.
[00:48:11] What you experience on Sunday is directly tied to what you receive Monday through Saturday in your own quiet time.
[00:48:19] Don't shout me now.
[00:48:21] I get it.
[00:48:23] What you experience or don't experience on a Sunday morning is directly tied to how much time you spent in God's presence on Monday through Saturday.

[00:48:59] And bodies were healed, families restored because we stayed here in the presence of the Lord.
[00:49:06] No one had to say a word, couldn't even make a sound, but I give everything up for the treasure I found.
[00:49:14] So I say stay.
[00:49:16] I don't want to go.
[00:49:18] Because my heart is burning here in the presence of the Lord.
[00:49:23] You know something that, I'll say the American church.
[00:49:27] Now, when I reference a church, I'm not talking about you guys.
[00:49:29] I mean, you guys are super spiritual.
[00:49:31] You guys are holy.
[00:49:32] I saw some of you guys floating this morning with halos on.
[00:49:35] So it's not you guys.
[00:49:35] I'm just talking about the church.
[00:49:40] We don't know how to wait in the Lord.
[00:49:43] Where's my old timers who know how to wait in the presence of God until he shows up?
[00:49:49] Will you pray and say, God, I'm not leaving here like Jacob until I walk out of here with a limp.
[00:49:55] I'm not leaving here until you change my circumstance.
[00:49:58] I'm not leaving here.
[00:49:59] See, we don't know what that means.
[00:50:03] Some services, I think some churches in America are called the 1115 church.
[00:50:08] Because church starts at 1030, but they show up at 1115.
[00:50:12] Once again, not you guys, trust me, not y'all.
[00:50:16] But we miss worship, we miss the songs, we catch half the message, we run out of church when church is done, and wonder why we got nothing out of it.
[00:50:28] Stay.
[00:50:31] When we worship, stay.
[00:50:34] When we're praying, stay.
[00:50:35] You know what?
[00:50:36] Get uncomfortable sometimes.
[00:50:38] If people are praying, you know what?
[00:50:39] I need some prayer.
[00:50:41] I'm going to go get some prayer.
[00:50:43] Man, you'll never know what God will do with a surrendered heart that says, God, all I want is your presence.

[00:51:20] They're going to the Promised Land, and Moses goes to Mount Sinai.

[00:51:24] He meets with God.
[00:51:26] He gives him some tablets.
[00:51:27] He wrote his name on it and did some things on it.
[00:51:29] And the people of God are going buck wild.
[00:51:33] Read it.
[00:51:33] You fact-check me on this.
[00:51:34] You know, Aaron, the leader down there, the priest, and he says, hey, a calf just came out of the fire.
[00:51:40] No, no, no, no, no.
[00:51:41] You did that.
[00:51:43] Because the people were getting what?
[00:51:45] Restless.
[00:51:47] So, long story short, Moses comes down, he is not happy.
[00:51:52] He takes the tablets, throws them on the ground, breaks them up, and he summons the Levites to say, you know what, go through the house and begin to slay people.
[00:52:01] Read it for yourselves.
[00:52:01] 3,000 people died.
[00:52:06] But then Exodus 33 says this, and mind you, this is the paraphrased version, right?
[00:52:10] God tells Moses to go and possess the land.
[00:52:12] I will deliver you.
[00:52:14] I will drive out everyone in front of you.
[00:52:16] But then God says, I'm not going with you.
[00:52:18] What?
[00:52:21] I'm not going with you.
[00:52:23] Then Moses began to talk to him and say, why God?
[00:52:25] Why aren't you going with me?
[00:52:27] Because you're stubborn.
[00:52:29] Not you guys.
[00:52:30] This is the Israelites.
[00:52:33] Anybody?
[00:52:34] Yeah, anyway, I'm pretty stubborn, just saying.
[00:52:37] But he says, I'm not going to, then Moses begins to plead with them and ask them, God, you know, what's going on here?
[00:52:43] And then I want to talk about one thing before we dive into the three points.

[00:52:47] Everything you've heard so far is my introduction, amen?
[00:52:51] Oh, you're only excited about that.
[00:52:52] That's okay, though.
[00:52:53] I'm going to preach it anyway, so just so you know.

[00:53:05] And then verses 7 to 11 says this, you know, Moses was instructed to build a tabernacle in the wilderness.

[00:53:14] And the power of God would show up, the presence of God would show up, and the people were, look at this, look at the temple.
[00:53:20] Oh, Moses in the temple.
[00:53:22] Moses in the temple.
[00:53:23] They weren't doing nothing, but they were just, look, Moses in the temple.
[00:53:26] And the fire of God came, and that's where God would talk to Moses, as a friend talks to a friend.

[00:53:34] There's a scripture here, it's in Exodus 33, 8, and it says, verse 12, it says, After Moses had left, say Moses left, and returned, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua the son of Nun, remained behind in the temple of meetings.
[00:53:58] Now what does that mean?
[00:53:59] What was Moses doing?
[00:54:00] Moses was talking to God himself.
[00:54:02] Moses was getting instruction for the people of God.
[00:54:05] Moses was hearing from God.
[00:54:07] Moses was getting a word from heaven.
[00:54:10] And then he was done.
[00:54:12] But something about Joshua, who was there, his protege, said, Hey, Moses, I know you're leaving, but I got to stay just a little longer.
[00:54:23] There's something that I have to do.
[00:54:25] There's something that I have to say.
[00:54:27] See, when you stay in the presence of God, God is going to redirect your life.
[00:54:31] God, see, some of you guys are seeking and asking God for things, but you're not staying in his presence.
[00:54:37] Some of you guys are needing a miracle from heaven, but you're trying to do it all by yourself.
[00:54:42] You can only do so much by yourself.
[00:54:44] You can only accomplish so much.
[00:54:47] If God doesn't go before us, then it's going to be a failure.
[00:54:51] Is that not true?
[00:54:54] Now we're going to read some scripture.
[00:54:55] I have a lot of scripture, but we're going to try and get through it really quick.

[00:55:05] 33, 8-11, it says this, When Moses went out of the temple of meeting, all the people would get up and stand in the entrances of their tent.
[00:55:12] They would all watch Moses until he disappeared inside, and then he went into the tent.
[00:55:17] The pillar would come down and hover over the entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses.
[00:55:21] When the people saw the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, they would stand and bow in front of their own tents.
[00:55:27] Inside the tents of meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face as one who speaks to a friend.
[00:55:34] Afterward, Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Josh the son of Nun, would stay behind in the tent of meeting.
[00:55:41] Verse 15.
[00:55:42] If you don't personally go with us, don't make us leave this place.
[00:55:48] How will you know if anyone will look favorably upon me and upon your people if you don't go with us?
[00:55:54] For your presence among us sets us apart, sets your people and me apart from all the people of the earth.
[00:56:02] 18, Moses responded, then show me your glorious presence.
[00:56:06] Then the Lord, the Lord replied, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out by name Yahweh before you, for I will show you mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose, but you may not look at me directly at my face, for no one may see me and live.
[00:56:28] The Lord continued, the Lord, look, stand near,
[00:56:32] Neon this rock as my glorious presence passes by I will hide you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by then I'll remove my hand and let you see from behind but my face you cannot see that's a mouthful there Moses said if you don't go before me I want to see your glory
[00:56:58] I want to see the glory of the Lord in this place.
[00:57:01] I want to see lives change.
[00:57:03] Listen, when the glory of the Lord shows up, everything changes.
[00:57:07] When the glory of the Lord shows up, how you react to things change.
[00:57:11] When God touches you in such a way that the glory of the Lord permeates your life, you don't speak how you used to speak.
[00:57:17] You don't watch the things you used to watch.
[00:57:18] You don't... Don't shout me down.

[00:57:26] You don't cut up like you used to cut up at work.

[00:57:47] So Joshua stayed and lingered.

[00:58:11] All we know is that Joshua stayed in the presence of the Lord.

[00:58:21] Did Joshua deserve to be there?

[00:58:25] What was God up to?
[00:58:29] Let me put this little correlation together for you.
[00:58:33] Who went to the Promised Land?

[00:58:39] Moses didn't for numerous reasons.
[00:58:42] Had some anger issues.
[00:58:43] He got some things all messed up.
[00:58:46] But something happened in Joshua's life when he was in the presence of the Lord.
[00:58:52] Something, he wasn't there.
[00:58:54] See, he didn't even know what was going on, but God said, if you'll stay here just a moment, I'm about to change your life.
[00:59:00] If you stay in his presence long enough, he will give you what you've desired for.
[00:59:05] Doesn't the Bible say that God will give you what?
[00:59:09] The desires of your life.
[00:59:12] What if the desire of your heart was to be in His presence?
[00:59:15] What if the desire of your and my heart was to be in His presence until Jesus showed up?
[00:59:20] What would God would revolutionize this world?
[00:59:23] God would, listen, this church would be too small because we'd be having seats outside and we'd be slammed past because we want the presence of God.

[01:02:55] If we will separate ourselves, God's gonna hear when you call.
[01:03:01] You gonna love what you've been praying for?

[01:03:08] God's hearing your cry.

[01:03:11] If you will surrender to Him, God will hear your cry.

[01:04:11] I want to hear the presence of God.

[01:04:15] See, but we have to cultivate that.

[01:04:19] We have to say, God, I appreciate your presence and I'm going to show up here with an expecting heart because I want to hear from you.

[01:04:30] There's not one thing that God wants to withhold from you if you'll spend time in his presence.

[01:04:40] Hear His voice.
[01:04:43] His presence.
[01:04:45] The presence of God will bring about a time of preparation.
[01:04:49] So you have a separation and a preparation.
[01:04:52] Exodus 19, 10-11 says this, The Lord said to Moses, Go to all the people and consecrate them for today and tomorrow.
[01:05:00] Have them wash their clothes and be ready by the third day because on that day the Lord will come down from Mount Sinai
[01:05:07] in the sight of all his people.
[01:05:08] Joshua 3.5 says this, Joshua told the people, consecrate yourself, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.
[01:05:18] Draw nigh to God and he'll draw nigh to you.
[01:05:22] Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
[01:05:27] There's something about consecration tied with preparation that attracts God's anointing.
[01:05:36] There's something when we do that, when we say, God, I'm preparing my heart.
[01:05:40] See, what would God do if we showed up this morning prepared at 8 o'clock?
[01:05:45] You were seeking his face.
[01:05:46] Say, God, I need to hear a word from heaven.
[01:05:48] I need to hear something from you.
[01:05:50] If you prepare your heart in that way, God will show up and do something for you.
[01:05:57] It all goes together.

[01:06:58] The presence of God will bring revelation.

[01:07:03] You got preparation and you got revelation.
[01:07:07] God wants to reveal himself to you like you've never seen him before.
[01:07:11] God wants to give you more than just a surface relationship with him.
[01:07:16] God, like Moses, he said, God, I want to see your glory.

[01:07:22] He said the veil was torn down.
[01:07:23] Everything, guys, there is nothing holding us back from getting into the presence of God and seeing Him move.

[01:07:35] My God, if we'll get into His presence with a hunger and a desire for righteousness, if we do that, He will show up in your life.
[01:07:45] I'll tell you, when I was, my first wife passed away at the age of 28 from cancer.
[01:07:51] She fought cancer.
[01:07:52] Some of you guys know this story.
[01:07:55] She fought.
[01:07:56] And I was doing youth ministry back in Florida for a long time.
[01:07:59] And I was still doing youth ministry.
[01:08:01] And I was alone.
[01:08:02] My kids were up north.
[01:08:04] And I was so lonely.
[01:08:08] I said, God, where are you?
[01:08:10] Where are you?
[01:08:14] Where are you?
[01:08:16] Look at this.
[01:08:17] It's a wreck.
[01:08:21] I walked into my home, drove up in Coral Springs, Florida, up Sample Road.

[01:09:55] And a person with an experience with God is never at the mercy with a person that just has a theory.
[01:10:02] When you've experienced the presence of God, when you've experienced the glory of God, it changes your perspective.

[01:17:33] and so that he could tear the veil so that we can enter into God's presence not through a mediator but have direct access to our heavenly father but all we have to do is call on his name and say jesus you are lord you are christ i want to follow your way in your will because your word is pure your word is true and your word is holy he's talking to us right now saying i want you to experience everything i have for you
[01:18:02] I want you to experience everything that I have for you.
[01:18:07] But it starts with a simple declaration.
[01:18:11] A simple declaration, but man, it's the most powerful declaration that you can make in your life is by saying yes to Jesus.
[01:18:18] It starts with saying yes.
[01:18:26] And maybe you know Him.
[01:18:28] Maybe you've been walking alongside of Jesus for quite some time now.
[01:18:32] But something is shifting in your heart right now saying, Lord, I've got to enter in your presence even more.
[01:18:39] The Lord will speak to you.
[01:18:41] He'll reveal some things in your life as He's done for me.
[01:18:46] Spend the time just seeking His presence as you learn today.
[01:18:50] It doesn't have to be these fancy theological words.
[01:18:54] You can literally just sit there and close your eyes and let the Lord speak to you.
[01:18:57] I promise you He'll show y'all.

[01:19:02] Time and time again, but it starts with a yes.
[01:19:08] Are you willing to say yes to Jesus?

[01:19:44] Lord, there may be individuals here that are your children that do not know you yet on a personal level, but you're stirring something in their heart that is saying, come to me.

[01:20:01] I wanna tell someone this morning that you're not too far away from God for Him to do a miracle in your life.

[01:20:17] The thing that you're thinking of right now, God knows and He's got you.

[01:20:33] Would you be so bold enough this morning just to run to your Heavenly Father?

[01:21:18] Hey, I wanna encourage all of us this morning, right outside these doors, we have a table that is set up that is for prayer.
[01:21:27] I would encourage you to go out there and get prayed over.
[01:21:31] If the Lord's speaking you today and you're saying yes to Jesus and you want to receive Christ, go to that table.
[01:21:39] We have people that want to pray with you, pray over you, to help you walk this journey of being a disciple of Christ.
[01:21:49] Maybe it's a stirring in your heart right now.
[01:21:51] Don't let that stirring just go by.
[01:21:53] Go back to that table to get prayed over.
[01:21:58] As you saw out in the lobby, or in the courtyard I should say, as you were walking in as well, we have our second week of group launch.
[01:22:04] Can we celebrate group launch real quick as a church family?
[01:22:12] This is our way of stepping into community.
[01:22:14] This fall we have classes being launched.
[01:22:18] We have ministries being launched.
[01:22:19] We have new groups getting started.
[01:22:22] Maybe you were here last week but you didn't sign up for a group, you didn't sign up for a class, you didn't sign up for a ministry.
[01:22:28] My encouragement would be this week today to sign up for something to get plugged into.
[01:22:34] Because we only gather here for about 90 minutes on a Sunday.
[01:22:38] The true church happens Monday through Saturday a lot of times in these groups.
[01:22:43] So my encouragement would be spend some time.
[01:22:45] We have a food truck out there with free mini donuts.
[01:22:48] Feel free to hang out.
[01:22:49] We'll have some music playing, but go around to the different tables.
[01:22:52] Maybe you went around last week, but you said, man, I wanna check out the tables one more time.
[01:22:56] Maybe you missed something last week that you wanna be a part of this fall.
[01:23:00] We have some amazing classes that are getting started.
[01:23:02] Sam is actually leading a class called Alpha.
[01:23:05] This class is unbelievable.
[01:23:06] It's a great curriculum to show you, after you say yes to Jesus, then what?
[01:23:12] Now what?
[01:23:13] Sometimes the best teacher is a simple reminder.
[01:23:17] So I would encourage you to check out that class called Alpha.
[01:23:20] We have our marriage ministry launching this fall.
[01:23:22] We have a six-week class that's going to be happening in the fall.
[01:23:26] I would encourage you to sign up for that.
[01:23:27] We have our young adults ministry getting launched this fall as well.
[01:23:30] We have groups that are studying.
[01:23:32] We have groups that are golfing.
[01:23:33] We have groups that are hanging out on Saturday mornings.
[01:23:35] We have study groups.
[01:23:36] My encouragement is this.
[01:23:37] The reason why we spent so much time the last two weeks on community is because we know it matters.
[01:23:45] It matters.
[01:23:47] So spend some time after service today in the courtyard, hanging out with your church family, grabbing a donut, grabbing a coffee, and checking out the groups and ministries being launched this fall.
[01:23:57] And last but not least, we do have our men's breakfast.
[01:23:59] All the men in the house say, what's up?
