[00:00:09] I want to get into the Word real quick because I'm looking at you and you're tired. I can see that.
[00:00:18] The Lord told me what I was supposed to preach tonight, Monday, and I didn't want to do it and I've been kind of fighting him on it. And because I've preached this message before and I love preaching new stuff all the time, you know.
[00:00:31] And anyway, to make a long story short, I reached for my, you know, my briefcase because I got a lot of those other sermons I wanted.
[00:00:39] The Lord said, you leave it, leave it.
[00:00:42] I want you to preach from your spirit.
[00:00:46] I said, okay.
[00:00:47] If you don't think, he said, just take your little Bible.
[00:00:51] So if I run out of something to say, Bill can handle the rest of it.
[00:00:54] I'll just hand it over to you, Bill.
[00:00:56] How many brought your Bibles or your iPads or your telephones or whatever you use for scripture?
[00:01:01] Turn with me today to the book of 2 Corinthians chapter 9.
[00:01:06] Very familiar scripture.
[00:01:07] And guys, I'd like you to put these scriptures on the screen and maybe you can do it on this one too or something like that.
[00:01:13] And God has been so good and gracious and I'm going to just do as the Lord directs me and leads me.
[00:01:19] I'm a man that if God says you can have something, not only should you believe it, you should have it.
[00:01:26] And there's always somebody saying what you can't do.
[00:01:29] But God said you can do all things through Christ who strengthened it.
[00:01:32] So you need strength from God.
[00:01:34] And what is that strength?
[00:01:35] The joy of the Lord is your strength.
[00:01:38] So, you know, you have many opportunities to fail.
[00:01:41] You just don't take any.
[00:01:43] And I don't live in denial and the different things that happen in life.
[00:01:47] And people say all the time, but just don't worry about Iran or all that.
[00:01:52] I don't worry.
[00:01:52] I could care less about what they're doing.
[00:01:54] Because there's a little scripture in the Bible that's rhema to me.
[00:01:58] And that is occupy till I come.
[00:02:01] And to me, that's just pretty simple.
[00:02:02] Well, suppose everything goes wrong.
[00:02:04] Well, we'll write it.
[00:02:08] Well, I lost you right there.
[00:02:10] Well, suppose they will shut you down.
[00:02:12] Well, suppose I shut them down.
[00:02:16] What makes you think you can always lose with government people or whatever, you know, because we the people of the United States.
[00:02:24] You got to understand, God will reveal things to people.
[00:02:28] Well, like the United States as a republic, there was four men that understood what America should be.
[00:02:35] One was President George Washington. Number two was Alexander Hamilton, who was the President George Washington, first president.
[00:02:44] Alexander Hamilton, first treasurer. Another one was the first chief justice of the Supreme Court, and that was John Jay.
[00:02:52] And then the man that wrote the Constitution, President Madison. Four.
[00:02:57] They understood that it was going to be a republic.
[00:02:59] But see, when you got 13 colleagues that won't listen to each other, that don't want to actually take care of the army because they said, well, you know, you do it because they wanted to be free and independent states.
[00:03:12] And God gave those four men the vision. And I've been talking about vision all the time of what America should be a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
[00:03:22] And they had it. They really did. And of course, and how God really used it because they were fighting, you know.
[00:03:28] and they said well Virginia's got more people than anything else and let them pay for it and all this kind of stuff 13 colonies but I like when he wrote the constitution of the United States
[00:03:37] can anybody I don't know if you can remember from school can you remember the preamble we the people of the United States in order to perform watch this it was wrong they was not supposed to write it that way but James Madison changed it right then and there before they had
[00:03:59] a chance to correct him. It was supposed to say this, we, the people of free and independent states. That's historical. But what he did, he said, we, the people of the United States of America. He united all the colonies under one band, which is called a republic. And God used
[00:04:19] that. And that's why we've got 250 years. Now, if you notice what's happening, I saw it on the news, they got different states. And I want to, if we're more powerful, we want to control you.
[00:04:29] It's the same thing that happened with George Washington days, you see.
[00:04:32] And you've got to have state rights.
[00:04:33] I understand that completely.
[00:04:35] But what I'm saying, when he said, we the people of the United States, well, I kind of think of that like this.
[00:04:40] We the people, the body of Christ, we are united.
[00:04:43] I was on TBN one time, and I'll never forget, Matt, he asked me, I was with Andrew Womack.
[00:04:49] I like Andrew, man.
[00:04:50] Andrew's a blessing to God.
[00:04:52] He's a good friend.
[00:04:52] And I preached at his Bible school and all kinds of stuff.
[00:04:56] He's a fine, fine, him and Jamie.
[00:04:58] And so we were sitting there and I was supposed to actually host the TBN Praise the Lord show.
[00:05:04] And y'all remember when I used to do all that way back when?
[00:05:07] OK, well, Matt comes in.
[00:05:10] This is after Jan and Paul went home with the Lord.
[00:05:13] And he said, Jesse, I think I'm a host tonight.
[00:05:15] I'm going to have you as a guest.
[00:05:17] I said, OK, I want to interview you and Andrew.
[00:05:20] I said, OK, I don't care.
[00:05:22] Whatever you want to do, you know.
[00:05:24] And so when we sat there, you know, and, you know, and it all came through.
[00:05:27] He said, I want to talk about grace.
[00:05:30] And Andrew's known for grace.
[00:05:32] Jesse, what do you think about grace?
[00:05:33] I said, I'm so glad I got it because it's the only way I can get saved.
[00:05:38] Then he looked and the way he said it kind of, I wouldn't say irritate me, but he came close.
[00:05:44] What tent are you in?
[00:05:48] What camp are you in?
[00:05:51] And I looked at Andrew and he goes, I said, well, you know, I said, Matt, let me, and I'm not being critical, man.
[00:06:00] I'm just telling you the truth.
[00:06:00] This was live television, you know.
[00:06:02] I said, I have to rephrase your question. There's only one camp of God, but there's many different colored tents. So which tent are you in? But you still should be one camp like we, the people of
[00:06:21] the United States. You see that? Second Corinthians chapter nine. That's my political statement.
[00:06:27] Praise God. I want to start reading with verse six. Y'all got it up there? Put it in the old King James, if you don't mind. 2 Corinthians 9, verse 6. I can quote it. He says, this is Paul
[00:06:36] writing to the church at Corinth. But this I say, he was so sparingly, shall reap also sparingly.
[00:06:44] And he was so bountifully, shall reap also bountifully. Now, what part of that you don't understand? What part of that you didn't get? Because look at that verse. Don't look at me, look at the verse. There's no faith in that verse at all. Zero. All that's in that verse is action
[00:07:01] and reaction if you sow sparingly you reap sparingly if you sow bountifully you reap in the statement there's no faith in it it's just a simple fact next verse every man according as he purposed in his heart not in his head so you you don't need a heart you need you need a head
[00:07:25] bypass not a heart bypass every man according as he purposed in his heart so let him give watch this not grudgingly oh now something's going to happen right here no necessity let me stop for a minute why do you give to need because that verse say you shouldn't do that let me read
[00:07:48] again every man according as he purposed in his soul so let him give not grudgingly or a necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver one trend that says the hilarious guy I'm gonna say that for
[00:08:03] just a minute. Just keep it there. Why? Because you see, you got to understand what purpose means.
[00:08:09] Purpose forwards you anchorage in the times of battle. If you're a person of purpose, you're going to have a good foundation under your feet. Now watch it. And every man according to his purpose. Now you do that before you get to church, not while you at church. See, cause that's
[00:08:28] why a lot of you have been moved by emotional financial pools. And I want an honest answer on this. How many times you gave an offering and somebody really pushed you hard and you got home
[00:08:37] and said, I shouldn't have, I shouldn't have done that. Hold your hand up. I'm gonna hold both my hands up because they moved you emotionally. You know why? Because you didn't purpose. That's done before you get to church. That's not done while you at church. See every man according as he
[00:08:52] purposed. Now when you have purpose, purpose will produce prayer. Now purpose and prayer get together. It produces perception. So you could read that verse every man according as he purposed, prayed and perceived. But then it's still, it's still getting bigger. You can put every man
[00:09:11] according to his purpose, prayed, perceived, empowered. Now, Jesus, you must be superior to power instead of driven by power. See, that's why a lot of politicians mess up. That's why a lot of preachers mess up, because they're driven by power instead of being, superseding that, being superior
[00:09:31] to it. So in order that's done before you get the church. So if you've done that, you know, they're going to receive an offer. So you're not given to the need when they say it, you're given
[00:09:40] to the purpose of what the need will do once it's met. Are you getting this? I'm not spinning this.
[00:09:47] In other words, it's not just because God said he'll supply all your need. Did he say that?
[00:09:51] Then why would you ever have to, why would you ever ask for a need? I never asked God for a need.
[00:09:56] It's a waste of spiritual energy. You've heard me say it before. I tell God what I want.
[00:10:00] and when you get what you want you destroy your need when you have what you want you don't even think about need so you could read that this way every man according as he purpose prayed
[00:10:10] perceived empowered so let him give not grudgingly nor necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver see so that's why I'm not moved when people trying to push me to do this and push me to do that
[00:10:25] because I've already purposed before I got here me and Kathy already knew what we were going to give to this convention. I already had purpose in my heart before I got here. You see what I'm
[00:10:36] saying? So that you're giving out of purpose, not giving to a need, giving to the, of what the need will do once it's met. I'm not spending it. That's just the way it is. Now, every man according to
[00:10:46] his purpose, prayed, perceived, empowered. So let him give, not grudging, nor necessity. For God loveth, that you're forgiven. Next verse. And I love this verse. And God is able. I call that the black verse. Ain't no white in that at all. And God is able. I said, oh Lord. I said, the Lord
[00:11:07] is able. The Lord is able, able, able, able, able, able, able. And white people going, trying to, they're missing the hands, you know, because white people, they come down on the first beat.
[00:11:20] Black people come down on the second beat. A white Baptist preacher, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
[00:11:36] That Hosea was a believer that should not perish but have everlasting life.

[00:11:44] Black preacher said, for God, so love.

[00:12:03] Boy, when I preach in the church of God of prophecy in Christ, I go black, boy.

[00:12:20] And God is able, notice that, and God, not you, and God is able to make all.
[00:12:29] That's what I want you to focus on, the word all, A-L-L, three little letters.

[00:12:48] all know so many times always in all is in their verse we'll do a little teaching and preaching God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you always having all sufficiency in all
[00:13:01] things why are you struggling why don't you believe that verse like you believe John 3 16 how about you Baptist Methodist Episcopalian Presbyterian Church of God Church of Christ Word of faith. Full gospel assemblies of God. Mennonite. Amish. Okay, you moved over to the
[00:13:25] other camera. Okay. All sufficiency. Watch this. In all things. Why does the world and the church world get a little irritated about your things? It's your thing. Do what you want to do.
[00:13:48] What is the definition of faith? Hebrews 11.1, right? Now, faith is the substance of the evidence of now why people get mad at you about your things how many of you lady wants a real louis vuitton purse i ain't talking about when they knock off when the cops come the guy
[00:14:10] run around the corner runs out of manhattan goes to brooklyn or jersey no no you want something real i don't think you ought to have that purse i don't think you asked them all ways care about
[00:14:33] the economy i don't deny the economy i don't deny interest rate i don't know any any of that stuff that verse right there and god is able to make all grace abound toward you that okay we got that
[00:14:48] part the grace part that you always having all sufficiency in all things now why are you mad at me i got a jet i used to just had two of them i mean i owned two of them and i sold one i didn't
[00:15:05] I didn't want to. It was Kathy. People going to write and get so ugly. Kathy called me. The Lord said, go to Kathy's office. I said, well, I don't want to go to her office. He said, just do what I tell you. So I walked down and had a beautiful 900, Falcon 900. And I mean, that thing flies, man. You know, people tell me stuff I just don't, but you know, you're not going to make more than maybe a million, million and a half dollars on that. I made $11 million on my sale. Don't tell me what I can make and what I cannot make. I know that sounds arrogant. Why? All sufficiency in all things.
[00:15:39] and Kathy said, sell the plane. I said, well, you can go one way and I can go the other way, you know? She said, I understand that, but I'll use yours. Wait, wait, yours is bigger. He goes
[00:15:52] further and faster. I said, okay, that's fine. Now that's why I don't get mad when people persecute me. I'm just being biblical. Why aren't you not biblical? Well, Jesus was poor. When? You tell me
[00:16:11] when he was Pope. And if you want to get in a homiletical, hermeneutical, philosophical, theological debate, I can do that. I got three degrees. I can do that. And God is able to make all grace amount toward you that you always. So I don't care what the world does. Always having
[00:16:31] all sufficiency. Yeah, but I don't care. And all things may abound to every good work. Do you know when Brother Savelle was alive, and this has happened so many times, I had preachers say this,
[00:16:46] now, man, don't get that Copeland to come to your town and that Savelle and that Duplantis because they're going to suck all the money out of you. Suck all the money out of you, out of town.
[00:16:56] That's not true. Why? That you may abound to every good work, which means you can be a partner to every ministry you want. Not just barely getting by, abounding, which means it's like, it just
[00:17:13] keeps getting bigger and bigger. Let me read it again. If God is able to make all grace abound toward you, you always, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
[00:17:26] Next verse. I like this. Next verse. Don't go to sleep on me. Wake that boy up. Next verse.

[00:18:32] i can be a success in a poor country or in a rich country it doesn't make any difference I mean, I've had so many people say, you can't do this, you can't do that.

[00:18:52] J.P. Morgan Chase told me I couldn't make money on something.

[00:18:59] And I looked at him and I wanted to say, you want to dance with me?

[00:19:05] So they come to my house for me to do it.
[00:19:07] And they say, you ought to take your finance and do this.
[00:19:09] put your money here here here here and here i said well i'll go home pray about it and i'd freak them out pray about it because they think my words are phenomenal i came back the next day
[00:19:23] i said i ain't doing any of that i said i want you to take my money and put it here here there there and there now remember you're going to lose i said is it my money oh yes it is i said didn't
[00:19:40] do what I tell you. Well, the whole year went. And I shop on Christmas Eve. I love to go out on Christmas Eve because most people got their stuff. So I like, you know, I like, you know,
[00:19:53] the carols and the Christmas lights. I just enjoy it. Most people got their stuff. So I get to looking around. I'm just enjoying myself, you know. And so we're in Kathy's shop and she said
[00:20:02] and things of that nature. So I got tired carrying bags to the call. And I had, I saw one of my employers. I say, hey, y'all going home? Yeah. I say, you mind if I ride with you? Oh, yeah, boss,
[00:20:15] go ahead and get in the car. So I told Kathy, I said, well, just meet me when you're finished.
[00:20:18] Just, you know, meet me at the house. She said, okay, watch this now. So I go home and I put on my good pajamas. The ones that fall down if you don't hold them. They have no elastic. I mean,
[00:20:32] they got holes in it. It breathes well. It just does. Especially when you're not wearing underwear.
[00:20:39] You just got them, boy. You're just enjoying yourself. This is my last night. I'm flying out tonight. I'm gone now. So I get a phone call and it's Kathy. I said, something wrong? Jesse, the vice president of JPMorgan Chase here in this region. I said, yeah, he wants to give us a fruit
[00:21:01] basket. I said, a fruit basket? He said, because all the business we've done with him. And would you mind if I tell him where we live? I said, Kathy, he know where we live. He got a bunch of
[00:21:13] money? He know my address. I said, well, yeah, bring it. Well, I didn't know when he got to the house that the fruit basket was as big as a coffin. I am not kidding you. That fruit basket was from
[00:21:25] this lady right here. Actually, but right here. So he said, can you help me, Reverend? So I grabbed my pajamas. I did it, Bill. I walked out of the house. Catherine's been trying to get me to throw
[00:21:42] them things away for years, you know? And I got a whole one. And I thought, if I turn this loose, fruit's going to go crazy, you know what I'm saying? It was just a beautiful day in the
[00:21:56] neighborhood. It's my house. I can wear what I want to wear. Now, I got fine pajamas. I got silk pajamas. I got every kind you could think of, but them. And he looks at me, and he says,
[00:22:15] Reverend, can I tell you something?
[00:22:16] I said, sure.
[00:22:17] I said, oh, before you do, thank you for the fruit basket.
[00:22:20] You didn't have to do anything.
[00:22:21] He said, you know, when we had that meeting in January, I said, yes.
[00:22:25] And we told you where to put your money?
[00:22:27] I said, yes.
[00:22:29] And he said, you had to go home and pray about it?
[00:22:32] He said, that kind of freaked us out.
[00:22:34] I said, I understand.
[00:22:35] And you came back and said, you didn't do anything we were going to say?
[00:22:37] You did something totally different?
[00:22:38] He said, Reverend, and all my clients, you're the only one that made money.
[00:22:43] Then he said this, if the price of gold goes up, if God tells you, would you call us?
[00:22:53] Swear to God.
[00:22:55] That's the truth.
[00:22:56] And I said, well, thank you, you know, and Merry Christmas and all that kind of stuff.
[00:23:00] Well, why, why, why did it work?
[00:23:03] God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work.

[00:23:17] his righteousness remained forever next verse he was ministered to seed to the sower not to the keeper to the sower that's what i was telling you about the offering both minister bread for your food watch how big this thing gets multiplies your seed sown increases the fruits of your
[00:23:37] righteousness next verse being enriched not just rich enriched and everything to all bountifulness which causes through us thanksgiving to God all bountifulness so there's no way I can lose money if that's true if I believe it by faith all right I lost this part let me go over here see see what
[00:24:10] you thinking about is your failure I'm thinking about God's word as success your success going somewhere to succeed now I don't know how much money you've got but I won't tell you you ain't gonna freak out God with any any number you got because God is able all we got to do is believe
[00:24:32] it you've heard me say before he said I didn't ask you to pay for it I asked you to believe it now I'm just dumb enough I guess you want to call it that to just believe it to just simply believe
[00:24:42] what he said spiritually physically and financially I don't struggle like a lot of people do and I don't mean that privately why because I take his word at face value I go all over the world I mean
[00:24:57] all over. And it costs a lot of money to fly that Falcon 7. I'm talking, when you start it up, man, you can feel the vacuum on your butt. It's just sucking out of your wallet. It's just coming out
[00:25:09] of there, you know. But I never charge expenses. I don't do that. Nothing wrong with it. I believe in paying people's expenses. I believe that. Don't misunderstand me. But me, I like living by faith.
[00:25:20] Well, how do you know it's going to work? Because God is able. Yeah, but suppose, I'm going to shut you're dying. I don't have the supposed to don't work syndrome. See, you're trying to get me to
[00:25:34] receive something I don't want. You're acting like the devil. That's why I said that about temptation last night. I have no temptations at all. Kelly, I ain't got one. You know why? Yet Satan has come to tempt me. That's his temptations. Jesus had no temptations. Satan came with his
[00:25:53] temptation. Now, if Jesus would have took it, then it becomes his. I have none. That's why God can't tempt you. He says, I tempt no man because he don't have no temptations. Are y'all understanding
[00:26:04] what I'm saying here? Now, if you take that and how you do it, take no thought saying, then he becomes yours. I was tempted to go with that woman. Well, you took the devil's temptation.
[00:26:20] Don't shout me down. I couldn't help myself. Now that's a lie. See, you actually taking his, because when you got born again, he ripped temptation completely out of you and made you a reborn spirit,
[00:26:36] clean through the word of the living God.
[00:26:38] But if you let the pride of life begin to take his temptation, then his temptation, Satan, becomes yours.
[00:26:47] You don't want to do that because you're going to have to repent before somebody's husband gives you.

[00:27:40] and it's just amazing and I tell people that they I don't let people break my time my time is just as it's just as valuable as anybody else's don't give me all that junk you just know me just take it with the doctors I don't care I had a
[00:27:58] doctor one time come in with his clipboard bill and I looked at him like he says I got to get some information on you and I said okay and I thought why do you need information about he said if you had any heart trouble in your family
[00:28:10] I said, yeah.
[00:28:11] I said, my daddy had a major heart attack at 34.
[00:28:14] My oldest brother had one at 34, almost killed it.
[00:28:16] My youngest brother had one at 34, too.
[00:28:18] He goes, oh, oh, and he checked me.
[00:28:22] And I'm just looking at the fool, you know.
[00:28:26] He said, have you had any diabetes in your family?
[00:28:29] I said, yeah, I had an aunt, I think, that died of diabetes.
[00:28:32] My mother was a borderline diabetic.
[00:28:35] He went, oh, oh, and he checked me.
[00:28:37] I'm still looking at you.
[00:28:42] He said, do you have any cancer in your family?
[00:28:45] The big C word?
[00:28:47] I said, yeah.
[00:28:48] I said, my grandfather died of cancer, 57, lung cancer.
[00:28:53] My Aunt Totsie, her name was Esther, but she's chunky, so we called her Totsie.
[00:28:57] You see?
[00:28:57] I said, she died of cancer.
[00:29:00] So two or three of them, he goes, oh, oh, I had enough.
[00:29:04] And I grabbed this clipboard.
[00:29:08] I pulled it out of his hand.
[00:29:09] He looked up like that.
[00:29:10] You know how they make you sit on them, that little bench thing?
[00:29:15] Got that paper.
[00:29:17] You know, y'all know what I'm talking about?
[00:29:19] That paper.
[00:29:20] I said, sit down, doc.
[00:29:22] He said, what?
[00:29:23] I said, sit down.
[00:29:25] I hollered at him.
[00:29:26] He went, whoa.
[00:29:27] Sit down.
[00:29:28] Have you ever had heart trouble in your family?
[00:29:31] He said, what?
[00:29:32] I said, answer the question, doc.
[00:29:39] Yeah, I went, oh, oh.
[00:29:40] And I checked him out.
[00:29:43] I said, have you had diabetes in your family?
[00:29:46] I ain't going to let that fool put that on me.
[00:29:49] You do what you want to do.
[00:29:58] Well, he didn't know what to do.
[00:30:02] And I looked at him.
[00:30:03] I said, you sick?
[00:30:05] He said, yeah, I had a real bad stomach.
[00:30:09] Now, I'm the doctor.
[00:30:11] I said, I'm going to pray for you.
[00:30:13] He said, you know, sometimes I got to eat.
[00:30:15] He's just telling me.
[00:30:16] I said, I guess he's scared.
[00:30:18] I don't know what he is.
[00:30:19] Sometimes I have to eat milk and crackers.
[00:30:23] I said, what's your favorite dish?
[00:30:25] Oh, I love red beans and rice and sausage.
[00:30:28] I said, doc, I'm going to lay hands on you.
[00:30:30] He goes, uh.
[00:30:32] I said, when I finish praying for you, boy I am confident of that I said you can eat the biggest red the biggest plate of red beans and rice and sausage you can eat whatever you want he goes you think so I said no I know so
[00:30:54] and I laid down and I put my hand on his belly Jesus he went oh now I mean I just I put a I put a double whammy of the holy ghost on that belly I said now go home he's just looking at me it's
[00:31:16] about four o'clock go home eat some red beans and rice and sausage he goes okay I was so confident not that I'm better than any of you oh but this word means so much to me well he forgot to take
[00:31:35] the what they call that thing electrocardiogram I was doing a complete physical stuff like that is that right so they called me back said you got to come back I said why the doctor forgot to take
[00:31:50] I said he said can you be here at 2 30 a quarter to three I said yes so I walked in and my god people everywhere sitting down completely full you know his doctor's office so I walked in and
[00:32:06] no place to sit so I just stood like this and this man said buddy you got a long wait I said I never wait long he goes and I look at him who's this fool he's the one said first and I guess the
[00:32:29] doctor heard my voice you know how they got them little windows that they closed the nurse who said Reverend Duplantis the doctor want to see you now and I looked at the guy and I went they're all mad as a hornet they're waiting he goes
[00:32:49] Reverend come so I thought it was gonna be in this hall no come all the way to the back so I walked all the way to the back he closed the door and is telling me to
[00:32:59] sit down he sits on the bench again on the thing he said guess what I said what I went home and ate a whole plate of red beans and rice as I could never do that for years because you know
[00:33:11] I guess grease. I don't know what it was. He said it was so wonderful. He said I am healed I said doc. I told you that you could eat anything you want Now what I was thinking is
[00:33:31] God told me That he is able to make all grace abound toward me spiritually physically financially every area i said you didn't believe me he said well i was kind of shocked i've been i've been practicing 40 years i never had nobody tell me to sit down
[00:33:54] on my own bench how you feel doc i feel wonderful i said you eat the rest of your life he said you know i will believe you i said i'm glad you did and i'm not bragging about that what i'm saying
[00:34:12] was god is able to make all grace abound to it that you always having all sufficiency the own thing may abound to ever good work dispersed abroad given to the poor righteousness mania forever he was meant to see the soul minister bread for your food multiplies the seeds on
[00:34:23] increases the fruits of your righteous being enriched in all bountifulness which caused it through us thanksgiving to god so jesus because he was superior to power instead of driven by when he tried to push him off a cliff he said get out of my face so when i started preaching i just
[00:34:44] believe the bible still do they said boy you better get rest on you're gonna suffer because i said suffer you know what the word suffer in the bible means in the king james permit that's right we'll start permit the children suffer the children that come unto me for such
[00:35:01] as the kingdom of god that means permit but that doesn't mean we don't suffer for christ yeah we go through some things but so what just go through them in every way shape or form why because god is
[00:35:14] able yeah i know he's able but no no you got the butt that's the biggest butt you'll ever see in your life you got to get rid of that but because either this is the truth or it's not all grace
[00:35:34] so when I go over see well you think you're going to make budget good god listen to me budgets cost you something vision brings you something you should have shouted right there a budget well nothing wrong with budget I got it but I know how much I'm spending but I'm a
[00:35:52] decent businessman but I don't deal with my budget nothing wrong with it I deal with vision man because that brings me something in every which way shape or form i don't care what anybody's saying i know it sounds arrogant it sounds hard but listen i'm going to complete my destiny reach
[00:36:10] my destination i don't have the supposed to don't work syndrome now there's sometimes i pray for people you talk about pushback i'm doing this out of my spirit i never go to hospitals and i'll tell
[00:36:26] you why because that's pastoral stuff and you know how many times some people have told me would you you go pray for someone in the hospital and they don't want me to pray for them they might be of
[00:36:35] different faith well you know you know whatever and so I decided I'd go one time and I went this lady was dying of cancer no yeah that can't die of cancer so I went and I believe the Lord
[00:36:50] wanted me to see this which I wish I can never get out of my mind that's been 30 years ago so went down the hall and when i opened up the door that she had a tracheotomy and her cigarette was
[00:37:04] in the hole that freaked me out to see a cigarette jay in the one in virginia slim one of them long cigarettes and it got a hole in the hole smoking and i looked at her and she pulls it out and gets
[00:37:21] blood on it she said i i want you to pray for god to heal me and so i said okay i laid hands on to Kelly and this is what she said heal me Lord I'll keep the diabetes I'll
[00:37:40] keep the diabetes see she figured she could live with diabetes but she couldn't live with cancer she died two weeks later I knew that there was a lost cause because every time I would pray to try to get faith in that hole she had
[00:37:57] cancer the throat push it back up I've never forgotten that that's that's imprinted in my mind. You see what I'm saying? So I realized, yet it was sufficient. God was able.
[00:38:12] Well, about four years later, a lady come up to me and said, would you please come to the hospital and pray for my son-in-law? I said, ma'am, I don't normally do that. I said, I don't mind. That's an
[00:38:27] idea, but that's pastoral. I stay within my lane. I don't step on other ministries and, you know, offices, you know what I'm saying? But I got a quick enough spirit to go. So I walk in. Here's
[00:38:39] a man, 37 years old, looked like he was dying of cancer. He's down to 65 pounds or something like that. Just a human skeleton. There was a bunch of people in the hallway. And I said, this is Mr.
[00:38:55] So-and-so. This is in his room. Yes. Who are you? I said, I'm Reverend Jesse Duplantis. Well, we're Catholic. I said, so am I. I've been christened and confirmed. Oh, see, but they wanted me to have a collar, and all I had to do is turn around, and I look like the priest with
[00:39:16] the collar in the back. See what I'm saying? So that's how you got to do it. Make it simple, you know?
[00:39:21] So I walk in, and there's the man and his wife and the mother-in-law, father-in-law, mom and dad. And the people told me, said he's going to die probably in the next maybe two hours, three hours, something like that.
[00:39:40] I didn't pay no attention to that.
[00:39:43] I walked in, and those people had seen me.
[00:39:46] They didn't know me.
[00:39:47] And I looked at, and I walked up to them, and I said, how you doing, sir?
[00:39:52] He said, pain, you know, but could barely breathe.
[00:40:00] I said, now, I'm here, and I don't waste my time, and I don't want to waste yours.
[00:40:09] I said, do you want to live, or do you want to die?
[00:40:13] Look, when you're dealing with this kind of stuff, you better get serious here. He goes, now don't tell me God is taking this man home when he got two kids at the house, you know, like seven and nine or something like that, you know, and you're
[00:40:27] going to tell me God going to, and his wife, and she says, I want him to live too. And both parents, the parents and the in-laws said, don't raise their hope up. We say this in the oil field,
[00:40:45] that torqued my jaw. I said, you, you, you, you, get out of here. They went, what? I said, I said, get the hell out of here. You're killing this man. Get out of here. Oh, you're talking mad.
[00:41:05] But the wife says, get out of here. So her mom and daddy, this man's dying. Oh, as soon as they walk out, the doctor comes in. I said, you, get out of here. What? You're going
[00:41:24] call security fine I'm dealing with a man dying here I ain't got worried about me having to go to jail this man he he wants to live she wants to live and everybody around him want him to die
[00:41:36] he's 37 years old for God's sake God ain't taking that man home and I looked at it I come I said let me have your hand and I put my hand very lightly on his chest and he went the pain you
[00:41:52] know I said you trust me he goes yeah you could barely hear yeah I said I looked at his wife tears is coming I said you trust me and before she could answer I said God trusts me yeah I said
[00:42:13] and I could feel oh Jesus something is happening here and I prayed I said oh Jesus cancer has a name and they should have never named it you said everything named has got to bow at the
[00:42:32] name of Jesus so I don't watch it I want you to hear that I said I don't ask I demand and I command this man cancer get out of here you cells of rebellion that's what a cancer cell is it's in
[00:42:47] rebellion it wants to grow as fast as it want and by doing that it destroys the body and I heard him go, oh. I said, heal him and just touch him now, Lord. And let him eat. He was throwing up water.
[00:43:00] Cancer starves you first. You see what I'm saying? Before it takes you out. And I said, look at me. And his eyes are doing this. I said, everything's fine. You're going to be going home
[00:43:12] pretty soon. He says, thank you. I said, you're welcome. I said, when you get home, here's the number call me and I looked at and I looked at so I said trust me I trust you
[00:43:25] I walked out and there was the Sanhedrin in the hallway and I looked at him I said y'all might as well go home he don't walk out of his hospital in two days the doctors and he hot man I mean and I'm just waiting for the here come
[00:43:49] you know here comes a guy with the white coats to take me away two days later he walked out that hospital. All sufficiency. All. Not just a little bit here. Within a month and a
[00:44:20] half, he had gained something like 40 pounds. He's still living. Children grown up. Not bragging on me. But boy, I went in there with my mind said, I don't care what no devil says. By Jesus. Well,
[00:44:41] supposing he dies. Okay. I'll handle you. Just suppose he goes to heaven. What's wrong with that?
[00:44:49] But he didn't want to die.
[00:44:51] Did you hear what I preached yesterday about that?
[00:44:54] If you've got a revelation of life and death, you're the one that makes the decision.
[00:45:01] Another hospital story.
[00:45:04] This happened maybe, I don't know, 10 years past that.
[00:45:08] I'm in Monroe, Louisiana.
[00:45:10] What's the name of that hospital?
[00:45:11] St. Francis, I think, something like that.
[00:45:13] And I'm preaching a revival there.
[00:45:16] It was one of the funniest revivals I've ever preached in my life.
[00:45:19] Not because I was funny, because the pastor was scared.
[00:45:24] Because every time we pray for him, demons are showing up.
[00:45:27] You know, we pray for him, and I say, I'm going to just change his name to this nice name.
[00:45:33] I say, Harry, go over there and pray for him.
[00:45:34] He said, I scare the demons.
[00:45:37] I said, go over there, man, lay your hand.
[00:45:39] I scare the demons.
[00:45:40] I don't care if he dies.
[00:45:41] I ain't going to put my hand on the demon.
[00:45:43] It was so funny.
[00:45:44] I couldn't get him to help me, you know.
[00:45:48] So this little boy's name was Chad.
[00:45:50] Five years old.
[00:45:51] I first went into what do you call it intensive care um the waiting room or something like that and they're all like this I went hello everybody they all kind of looked I said I've come to pray
[00:46:14] for a boy named Chad who's the mama everybody just looking quiet like that and they said but you can't go in there I said oh sweetheart I can go in there you ain't gonna worry about that I got
[00:46:25] a card I can go anywhere anybody any doctor can go I can get in there I said we come to pray for your son. The Baptist preacher's there. Reverend, I know he didn't believe in healing. He's trying
[00:46:40] to comfort. Not much comfort when your five-year-old child is dying. Come on. Let the elevator go to the top here. So there was three other people, four other people. When you finish prayer, could you
[00:46:54] come pray for me? I said, when all y'all come with me? They said we can't only one at a time. I said, said, well, all of us is one at the time. Like going on a one-way street. Why you, I will give
[00:47:06] you a ticket. Well, I was only going one way. What do you give me a ticket for? I just happened to go the wrong way on a one-way. I brought him in there like that. And the nurse said, I said,
[00:47:13] everything will be fine, ma'am. I said, we come to do some wonderful work today. And she said, you're Jesse DeForest. I said, yes, I am. She said, I got to see this. But she happened to be
[00:47:26] the chief nurse, which is a little power. You know, you need that sometimes. So I said, where's Chad's room. And they can tell when you're having a dead brain how your feet begin to curl in like this.
[00:47:41] So the doctor comes in and he goes, brain dead. See, this is the only guy. And I'm listening.
[00:47:51] And he says, I'm sorry. And the Baptist pastor goes to the mama, I'm sorry. I said, don't take that sorry. I said, Reverend, I'm not being rude to stand right there. Hey, doc, where you going? I said, I want you to see this. He goes, what?
[00:48:15] I said, doctors ought to be able to talk to each other. I'm a doctor of divinity. You're a doctor of medicine. Doctors can talk to each other. I said, stand right there. And the Lord spoke to
[00:48:24] my, and I mean, I heard it with my audible ears, call his name. Now he, I mean, he's in a coma, I guess you could, and his feet, instead of being like this, they curved in. And the doc said,
[00:48:37] he's brain dead. I said, I don't deny your report, sir, but whose report am I believing?

[00:48:58] What are they going to do, put me in jail? Bend that? And I went, and Chad opened his eyes and said mama I'm hungry the place went crazy this is an intensive care unit the doctor start
[00:49:21] rushing towards you I stopped I said I'm doing better than you are doc just stay back here and the Baptist preacher going mama I'm hungry I said feed Chad I said where's the next one
[00:49:38] we went all the way there was I think seven rooms or something and God touched every one of them Chad got out of the hospital in about a week because, you know, I mean, they had to build him up.
[00:49:56] Today, Chad's about 60, 65.
[00:50:05] He said, you saved my life.
[00:50:07] I said, no, I did not.
[00:50:09] The Lord Jesus saved your life.
[00:50:13] Because God says, by his stripes, ye were healed.
[00:50:18] Well, suppose I don't see it.
[00:50:19] Well, there's a lot of times I left the hospital, I didn't see it.
[00:50:22] But I'm not moved by that.
[00:50:23] I don't deny that.
[00:50:24] Don't misunderstand me.
[00:50:25] You know, I'm just believing God.
[00:50:27] I'd rather just believe God.
[00:50:30] He said, you know, what do you want to do?
[00:50:33] I mean, you have to make your mind up that once you understand the passion of God, it don't matter what anybody says to you.
[00:50:42] Now, let's get on to the money side because God is able to make all grace.
[00:50:46] Well, I tell you, I need some money.
[00:50:48] Well, how much do you need?
[00:50:50] Huh?
[00:50:53] Well, if I could just get my car paid off.
[00:50:55] I said, well, you owe a mortgage on your house?
[00:50:59] I said, oh, you think God can't do both at the same time?
[00:51:03] You think he's going to run out of money if you pay your car off?
[00:51:05] You're going to have to struggle to get the house paid.
[00:51:09] I said, don't lie.
[00:51:10] I said, I'll tell the truth.
[00:51:12] And I know it sounds ignorant and crazy because you're thinking of all this.
[00:51:20] This is all this junk around you saying you've got to believe it our way, you know, because it just won't work.
[00:51:27] And I don't doubt that sometimes it don't work.
[00:51:29] I understand all that.
[00:51:33] I didn't finish the story about my eyes.
[00:51:39] You know why I didn't pray for myself?
[00:51:41] Because I saw a bunch of Mexican people on the picture on the wall.
[00:51:46] I don't know if I told you all that.
[00:51:48] Okay, what is it?
[00:51:49] And I said, what's that?
[00:51:50] He said, oh, he says, we do surgery, cataract surgery in Guatemala.
[00:51:55] These people can't afford nothing.
[00:51:56] They can't see.
[00:51:57] I mean, blind.
[00:51:58] He said, I have a team of, was it four doctors?
[00:52:00] They go down there and they do it for free.
[00:52:04] Now, I've done that quite a bit with people with cleft palates.
[00:52:07] the thing. I've told Dr. Fix it and I'll pay for it. Well, it's going to cost a lot of money. I said, you see me blink? Just do it, doc. Come on and do your best work. So I looked at it. I thought,
[00:52:18] man, I said, I said, you know, I have a plane. Oh, you do. I said, I wouldn't mind. I fly y'all down there. I said, I'd like to see you do that. Oh, you would. Yeah. I said, do you take donations?
[00:52:30] He said, well, he said, it's on the Ochsner, Ochsner Foundation, which is a huge medical, I mean, they're big, all over, you know. I said, yeah. He said, but, you know, I said, that's all right.
[00:52:41] I said, Kathy, you got a check? Kathy goes, I always got a check. I said, Kathy, give him a check for $25,000. They go, what? And I said, okay. He says, sir, you just paid for the whole trip for
[00:52:54] the whole year. I said, okay. I just want to see you do that. I wasn't bragging. He could not get over this I said no one's ever done that as a patient right he said well no one has ever
[00:53:10] challenged me like you have because the only one do one I ain't got time for that I had to do two because I'm working and I brought this bible can you read that look how small that is
[00:53:27] can you read that then stood Fina Haas and Kathy says that's it I'm getting mine done too I mean this is this is small friend and the only reason why I brought it because I wanted to preach
[00:53:47] something else and God said no no no no I want you to preach that word all all grace all everything so I'm going to ask you a question now that the offering receiver you ain't got to worry about
[00:53:57] that how much money you want hang on don't don't answer it yet because most people say I'll take 10 million have you ever had 10 million no you don't know what you're talking about you got to
[00:54:12] start somewhere. And then believe God and keep your seeds sown. That's my couple right there.
[00:54:20] They needed a little help one time. Did I help? Now, I know people say, I got to get the brother Jesse. He's going to help us. See, once you make me your source, I can't do a thing. I just can't
[00:54:33] do a thing. Because see, it's not me. It's God. God uses people. Don't misunderstand me. But I mean, you know, well, how do you know it's going to work? Well, God is able to make all grace abound
[00:54:43] towards you, always having all sufficient, all things may abound to every good work. Every time I went out in my hotel here, people were buying my food and putting thousands of dollars in my hands. I said, I said, I don't need nothing. Do you understand? I don't need, yeah, we just want
[00:54:58] to be a blessing. Well, thank you. I mean, I know how to receive. Don't misunderstand me.
[00:55:03] You know, you just give it to the offering, stick it in there. Don't put a name on it. Just throw it in the bucket. You know, so I'm not bragging about, oh, you can't accept. Yeah, I can accept it.
[00:55:12] that's not the issue. But I mean, you know, I just like to be a blessing. I even tip at Chick-fil-A.
[00:55:22] They love me. We even tip at McDonald's. We never have to wait for a hamburger. They bring it to our table. Because Kathy likes McDonald's. I like being a blessing, not bragging. Oh, you brag. I
[00:55:41] could brag more with that money in my pocket than in theirs. We just went to this, Papacitas.

[00:55:56] And boy, God spoke to George.
[00:55:59] This little lady, we don't know her.

[00:56:03] This is before they take the order, okay?
[00:56:05] We're just sitting there.
[00:56:06] And I was really wanting a glass of water real bad because I had just finished preaching.
[00:56:10] And George said, I want to tip you.
[00:56:12] George gives her $100.
[00:56:14] And he asked me, has anybody ever give you $100 before you ever took the order?
[00:56:18] No.
[00:56:20] No, I mean, she was shocked.
[00:56:22] She's crying, and she says she's got to go to school or something like that.
[00:56:25] I said, well, here's some more.
[00:56:26] We're just popping $100.
[00:56:28] I'll tell you what.
[00:56:29] I know there were some people in there going, sir, I'm going to become a waiter right now.
[00:56:36] And wait on that table so we can get some.
[00:56:40] One time, me and Jonathan Shuzzle, we had the Golden Steer in Las Vegas with that big steak.
[00:56:46] Jonathan knew about it.
[00:56:47] I didn't know anything about it.
[00:56:48] He brought us over there.
[00:56:49] And we had the most wonderful time.
[00:56:50] We were sitting in Muhammad Ali's booth, I think it was, something like that.
[00:56:54] Man, and I guess the Dallas team thought we were crazy.
[00:56:57] We had a $100 bill.
[00:56:58] A Caesar here has $300.
[00:57:00] People, oh, they're showing off.
[00:57:01] We ain't showing off.
[00:57:03] We're just being a blessing.
[00:57:05] Now, people think, well, why'd you do that?
[00:57:07] Because we wanted to, and we could.
[00:57:11] And then Jonathan went back to Vegas later, and I wasn't with him.
[00:57:14] And we went to the, is it a Jewish place down there?
[00:57:16] And the lady, and we blessed them, too.
[00:57:20] you know, and then they said, where's your white-headed friend? Is that right? I think something to that nature. Well, we just, we love, we love, we love being the blessing. Not sure, just wanting to, why can't, why can you do that? I'm enriched in everything to all bountifulness.
[00:57:37] Watch it, and I'm giving God glory. What caused it through us? Thanksgiving to God.
[00:57:41] Well, I want to thank you. I said, well, thank God. Huh? Thank God. I said, because he's the one that supplied. He's the one that said we could do these things, and all we got to do
[00:57:51] just simply do it. I'm making it sound so easy, huh? It is. Don't complicate it. Don't complicate faith. It's a very simple process. It's like children. They just believe you. I've said it before. Children are born believers until you teach them to doubt. I never, I wrote a book called
[00:58:16] I Never Learned to Doubt. I'm going to tell you what that thing, I've had 14 best-selling books.
[00:58:23] I made tons of money. Give it to the work of the Lord. What am I doing with all that?
[00:58:30] You see, because when I was raised poor, I was raised very poor, and I wasn't ashamed of that.
[00:58:35] My mom and dad did the best they could.
[00:58:38] They didn't have any knowledge of any of that.
[00:58:41] You know, they didn't.
[00:58:43] And I always thought this, boy, if I just get enough money, I will be a happy man.
[00:58:48] I can buy anything I want.
[00:58:49] Buddy, at 21 and 22 years old, I am knocking down money.
[00:58:55] I'm talking money, baby.
[00:58:57] And I'm talking girls screaming, hollering.
[00:59:00] and that was your grandma doing that with the mini dresses shot baby look at these young people not my grandma oh yeah your grandma and I remember telling Kathy at 21 22 years old how come I'm not happy money is the most disappointing thing of my life I'm serious
[00:59:28] I just knew I would be happy and I was and I thought why am I I can buy whatever I want do whatever, go where I want to go. Why am I not happy? See, I needed God. But I didn't think of God as a
[00:59:42] person. I thought of God as the Holy Roman Catholic Church. I had never seen sin in my life. I was raised on the streets with La Cosa Nostra, with the mafia. Oh yeah. And Sicilian, you do what you
[00:59:55] got to do. I was taught things. I can't say it because the statute of limitations hadn't run out.
[01:00:03] There's some things you do, it won't run out.
[01:00:12] That's just the way I was taught.
[01:00:15] And so anything I wanted to do, I did.
[01:00:19] It didn't make no difference.
[01:00:20] I didn't care who, what, where.
[01:00:22] Kathy said, you are the most immoral man I've ever met.
[01:00:25] Why'd you marry me?
[01:00:27] Because I was a good looking boy back then.
[01:00:29] You got to see it by faith.
[01:00:31] But I mean, she knew I loved her, but I couldn't say it.
[01:00:35] And I never did.

[01:00:38] and you know they're just struggling you learn to suppress you don't let none of that stuff out you get this you got to do what you got to do remember telling my grandfather one time I was
[01:00:51] about remember 10 years old elementary school I said I got a problem with this boy he looked at me said well alligator got to eat I know he buried people in a swamp I was there and mama got him
[01:01:11] saved seven days before he died. Mama's faith was greater than all that junk, but it was normal.
[01:01:21] Now, I know that don't sound crazy. It was normal. You go down to Manhattan, you go down Marlboro Street, you're going to meet things you ain't never met before in your life. One time I was
[01:01:37] preaching in Long Island, and I'll keep the family's name private. I got the grandson born again, La Cosa Nostra. Well, I never thought, you know, the boy got born again. It's a blessing of god i never thought nothing about it you know well about a year no not about eight months later i
[01:01:53] went back and preached at that church bishop and that's and i never go to my book and then we had tape tables then book and tape tables and it's outside to go and this black limousine drove up
[01:02:06] and i saw it out the door this guy comes out and these guys are two in the front two in the back packing. They said, are you Jesse the Planner? Talk like that. Are you Jesse the Planner?
[01:02:22] I said, yeah. He says, I come here to say thank you. You took care of my boss's son.
[01:02:29] I'm the underboss. I said, oh, the pastor said, you know these people? I said, yeah.
[01:02:36] Did you know who they are? I said, yeah, I know. Don't worry about it. He said, I want to thank you from my heart. And I'm saying this for my boss. And he'd like to say thank you. And another
[01:02:48] black limousine. This little guy gets out. You don't think he got power? Even the devil back away from that boy. He walks in and he got that voice like Marlon Brand. I want to thank you for
[01:03:02] taking care of my associate's son. What we can do. You need anything, we can handle it all.
[01:03:12] Somebody mess with you, they mess with us. I'd die with you. I wanted to say I'd prefer for you to live with me, but because I was raised that I understood. And I got to tell this story because
[01:03:25] this is in this sermon. He said, you ever need us, you call us, give them the number. And the boss pulled the door. He says, anywhere, anywhere in the world, anywhere. I said, thank you. You're
[01:03:41] welcome. Have a good day. I said, thank you, sir. Pastor going cold. He just prayed. Well, i didn't think nothing about it you know that month i thought whatever me and jerry jerry said jesse would you like to do some celebrate jesus with me i said yeah man we'll do that so we start
[01:04:03] doing we were pulling some big crowds man i mean it was a blessing i'll catch the spirit of revival yeah and he said he said you want to do one in philadelphia i said yeah let's do one in
[01:04:13] philadelphia be fine so we all and we got trucks and everything preston preston was a little boy Baby, I seen Preston Bourne, you know what I mean?
[01:04:21] So we get there.
[01:04:23] And man, we're late getting there.
[01:04:24] We got trucks.
[01:04:25] We got to set up.
[01:04:26] Now, this is union.
[01:04:28] You understand by union, you don't get on that stage because they will eat your lunch if you get on that stage.

[01:04:34] And Jerry, one of the finest men I've met in my life.
[01:04:37] But he was innocent in those kind of things.

[01:04:41] So anyway, we come up.
[01:04:42] I said, this guy named Frank.

[01:04:46] That's the guy that's the manager of the Philadelphia Convention Center.
[01:04:49] I said, I know that we can't get on the stage, that you have to set up our equipment.
[01:04:54] There's 2,000 people in line outside.
[01:04:58] So if you don't mind, we will double pay you if you'll let our guys, and that was Rodney and all, if we can put up our equipment quicker, because we know how to do it, you know what I'm saying?
[01:05:08] He said, you shut the mm-mm up.
[01:05:11] Nobody get on that stage unless I tell them, nobody.
[01:05:14] And I don't care if you're late.
[01:05:17] And Jerry looks at me.
[01:05:19] God, Jesse, what are we going to do?
[01:05:21] And I heard this voice.
[01:05:27] Use the number.
[01:05:31] And Kathy had been trying to make me throw that number away for a long time.

[01:05:36] So you didn't have cell phones then, you know.
[01:05:38] Had to go to the pay phone.
[01:05:40] So I went to the pay phone.
[01:05:41] And I called the number.
[01:05:42] I said, this is Rev.

[01:05:45] What we can do for you?
[01:05:46] I said, look, I'm at the Philadelphia Convention Center.
[01:05:48] I know they're in the unions. I know how the system works. I said, and listen, I'm willing to double the amount of money, but we're going to be real late if we could put our people, let our people put up the equipment all the time.
[01:06:03] Because you've got to put up all this kind of stuff. I mean, it takes time to do all that, you know.
[01:06:07] I said, but this guy, he said, what is his name? I said, his name is Frank. He says, don't go nowhere. Hang up. I'll call you back in about three to five minutes.

[01:06:24] And he said, what are we going to do?

[01:06:36] This was a good crowd, man.
[01:06:37] We knew it was going to happen.
[01:06:38] All of a sudden, about four minutes later, the phone rang.
[01:06:41] He said, everything will be fine.
[01:06:43] You got any problem, call me back.

[01:07:53] people got saved he does work in mysterious ways i guess you could say i mean you know well he used what cyrus to get israel back and i'm not saying go do that how you knew well i knew maybe i shouldn't have called him but i knew god was gonna take care of
[01:08:20] us because you do what you gotta do you want one more story oh yeah i like all this stuff well let me quote it first you can take it off now but this i say he was so
[01:08:35] sparingly shall reap also sparingly he was so bountifully shall reap also bountifully every man who called him as he purposed prayed perceived empowered so let him give not grudgingly nor necessity for God loveth that you're forgiver and God is able to
[01:08:47] make all grace abound toward you that you always having all sufficiency in all things you may and that you may abound to have a good work he has dispersed abroad he has given to the
[01:08:55] poor his righteousness remained forever he was submitted seed to the soul ministers bread for your food multiplies your seed so increases the fruits of righteousness being enriched in all bountifully would cause it through us thanks
[01:09:05] given to God. You see, ladies and gentlemen, if it's not in you, it can't come out of you.
[01:09:11] It's got to, I'm not showing off that I can quote scripture, but I can quote a bunch of it, but it's got to be in you, you know? And so, I mean, all these different things,
[01:09:21] because the devil's always trying to shut you down. And I mean, all I want to do is preach this glorious gospel. Before I tell you that story, it's kind of like Luke four, but this temptation, some of y'all just kind of look, the devil says, uh, turn the stone into
[01:09:38] bread. I'm going to just paraphrase it. No, I'm not taking your temptation. And he was hungry.
[01:09:49] Okay. I heard you were kingdom minded. Now, why didn't he do that? Number one, you never use the word of God for personal advantage because you're already advantaged by the word of God. That's why
[01:09:59] Jesus didn't turn the stone into bread. He said, I was using the word of God for personal advantage when you're already advantaged by the word of God. So you don't need to do that. Takes him up and he
[01:10:08] said, I heard you were kingdom minded. Yeah, I'm going to show you a kingdom. Got people, got money, everything. All you got to do is bow down and worship me. We're in the desert, man. Ain't
[01:10:21] nobody going to know. Nothing's going to happen, man. Once, read the classic Amplified. Jesus said, no, wouldn't take the temptation. Wasn't his. Take him to a pinnacle. You know the story.
[01:10:38] Hey, now why say, you don't think the devil's smart? Because he was an angel at one time.
[01:10:42] he said why don't you jump off because your angels will give you they'll get charged over you so he knew that because he'd probably seen that before jesus said no the bible said he left him for a
[01:10:55] season that's three months defeat jesus defeated him so bad because he refused to take any of his temptations he had to go rest himself he's not a faith devil he's a flesh devil he only tempts you
[01:11:08] in the flesh he never tempts you in the spirit never he's spiritually dead see so when you understand. Now, watch this. Number one, temptation, never use the word of God for personal advantage. Number two, never associate yourself with wicked people, even for the attainment of
[01:11:24] a good end, even though it's going to meet what you've got to do. And number three, never perform a godly act in a prideful spirit. That's what happened a lot of times in the 1947, 1958 healing
[01:11:34] revival. Then you wanted to know the names of devil. What's your name, devil? What street you live on in hell and all that craziness? Just tell them to shut up and get out. Did I go too fast on
[01:11:45] those points? Number one, never use the word of God for personal advantage because you're already advantaged. Number two, never associate yourself with wicked people, even for the attainment of a good end. And number three, never perform a godly act in a prideful spirit. Why? Why you don't need
[01:12:03] any of that? Because God is able and he'll give you all, all lock, stock and barrel if you just believe it. Oh, y'all understand what I'm saying? I'm trying to hurry. I know you're a little tired.

[01:12:38] And the plane, something went wrong with it.
[01:12:42] Bill, I had to grab the co-pilot of the Delta.
[01:12:44] He was running down, people freaking out.
[01:12:46] And I grabbed him and I said, you're panicking people.
[01:12:49] And he looked at me and said, the flaps won't come down.
[01:12:51] we can't land and we'll burn the tires off we can't we can't slow it down i said i think it'd be fine hang on and there was three black women behind me talking trash like you ain't never i
[01:13:02] mean all kinds of trash sexual trash everything you can think of we're going good lord you know but you know that's when we was flying commercial and when that when that chief father said ladies
[01:13:12] and gentlemen we cannot land in maui we got to divert to honolulu because we have a longer runway but we're gonna burn the tires off we're going in the ocean and then three black ladies go oh
[01:13:23] Lord Jesus Jesus Jesus and I turn around there girls and I said y'all been talking trash like I had never heard what she said the Lord forgives I said that's true the Lord forgives I told Kathy so you scared no it's good well
[01:13:46] here we come in there you see without the flaps down you can't slow that plane you got to do everything you can to slow that thing down and as soon as that plane hit the flaps slapped down there's no way they could it broke in the back
[01:14:00] they do it and angel slapped them flaps down why when you're afraid his death and life's in the power of my tongue forget that chief I want to thank you for flying Delta in the future if you're flying these is everybody trying to just
[01:14:22] get off the plane and the reason why we were saved was well she was 98 you know She lived to 106, I think, at Jim Morocco's church in Kahului, Maui.
[01:14:33] It was 3 o'clock, and we were coming down, and she was in a little Bible study.
[01:14:36] She's a little Filipino woman.
[01:14:37] She jumps up.
[01:14:38] She said, Brother, Jesse's in trouble.
[01:14:40] The Lord just spoke that to me.
[01:14:41] Let's pray now.
[01:14:44] And her prayer saved our lives.
[01:14:47] She lived to 106.
[01:14:48] I loved it.
[01:14:49] I just thought the world of her.
[01:14:50] See, I'm talking this big, man, just a little, but a very powerful person.
[01:14:57] And I asked her, I said, well, how did the Lord tell you?
[01:14:59] well, the Lord didn't tell me what you were going through, but you was in trouble, and I knew my prayer could get you out. And I thought, she's able. And that's what I'm talking about. See,
[01:15:10] everything you could think of, spiritual, physical, financial. So you're in an impossible situation?
[01:15:17] Yeah. Good. Now, turn it loose and let God handle that. Okay. One little more. Lady believing God for a house. Oh, she loved that house. She said, I just know God said that's my house. I said,
[01:15:33] I'll set myself in agreement with it. It was a nice home. Well, it was sold. Somebody bought it.
[01:15:39] She's all depressed. Man, I just knew God took. I said, why are you depressed? She said, what?
[01:15:46] She said, the house sold. I said, is it your house? Well, that's what the Lord said. Does he lie?
[01:15:53] Well, no, he does not. But Jesse, the clothes, they sold the house. I said, is it your house?
[01:16:02] That's my house. I said, then you're going to get it. Well, I got to wait till they live in it 20 of year? I said, I didn't say that. You said that. Is it your house? Yeah. Two months. They got a
[01:16:16] divorce, those people. Now I'm not telling you that God made those people get a divorce. They don't do that. But I'm just saying what happened was they just walked and she, and they were right
[01:16:25] at the financial limit to buy that house when those other people bought it. And she bought it for $250,000, $300,000 less because they just wanted out. And she said, I went home. I was so
