We do not issue this rating to attack the speaker, but to protect the listener. This ministry's overall teaching trend consistently deviates from sound doctrine. As per Romans 16:17, we identify these patterns so believers can guard their hearts.
🧐 Overview
Theological Verdict & Summary
Sermon Summary: A call to adopt a 'royal mindset' and disciple nations, but fundamentally compromised by teachings that deny the reality of sin in believers and elevate subjective prophecy over Scripture.
Pastoral Analysis: While the sermon attempts to inspire a vision for global discipleship and legacy, it is critically flawed by the denial of the believer's ongoing struggle with sin, the demonization of poverty, and claims of geopolitical prophecy. These errors undermine the Gospel of grace and replace it with a works-based, mystical framework.
Biblical Parallel (Archetype): Thyatira — The sermon exhibits active heresy through the denial of the believer's ongoing sinfulness, the personification of poverty as a demonic spirit, and the claim of direct prophetic revelation regarding geopolitical shifts. These errors constitute a severe deviation from orthodox doctrine, aligning with the warning against the 'deep things of Satan' and the introduction of false teachings found in the church of Thyatira.
Big Idea: Christians must overcome their identity crisis and 'rapture mentality' by adopting a royal mindset and long-term legacy vision to effectively disciple nations, utilizing strategic alliances and wealth as tools for God's kingdom. [01:10:40 ▶️ 📄]

🧭 Biblical Alignment Dashboard
Overall Verdict: Fundamentally in Error
| Category | Status | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| Gospel Presentation | ❌ FAIL | The Gospel Engine is broken. The sermon relies on human willpower, moral choice, and strategic vision rather than the sovereign grace of God and the substitutionary work of Christ for salvation and sanctification. |
| Soteriology | ❌ FAIL | The sermon denies the ongoing presence of sin in believers, teaching that salvation instantly erases the identity of 'sinner,' which contradicts the biblical doctrine of sanctification and the need for continuous repentance. |
| Bibliology | ❌ FAIL | The sermon elevates subjective prophetic revelations regarding geopolitical shifts and 'accelerated revelation' above the sufficiency and finality of Scripture. |
| Hermeneutic | ❌ FAIL | The sermon interprets biblical metaphors (poverty, identity) as literal spiritual entities and forces geopolitical events into a prophetic framework not supported by the text. |
| Theology Proper | ❌ FAIL | The sermon personifies poverty as a demonic spirit and claims direct prophetic authority over political states, usurping God's sovereignty and distorting the nature of God's kingdom. |
| Sacramentology | ✅ PASS | No specific sacramental errors were detected in the provided reports. |
| Confessional Depth | ❌ SHALLOW | The teaching relies heavily on subjective experiences, personal anecdotes, and charismatic terminology rather than deep, systematic theological grounding. |
⚙️ The Core Gospel Framework
Why it matters for the final verdict: A complete Gospel framework protects a sermon from becoming man-centered. If a preacher gives commands for good behavior but leaves out the grace and atonement of the Gospel, it often results in a 🔴 Critical or 🟠 Major error for Moralism (teaching human self-improvement rather than reliance on Christ). However, if these Gospel elements are missing simply because the pastor is preaching a highly focused, practical message to mature believers (e.g., instructions on biblical marriage), our system applies a "Safe Harbor" pardon, graciously reducing the omission to a 🟡 Minor error.
❌ The Law And Wrath: Not observed in the sermon.
❌ Total Depravity And Inability: Not observed in the sermon.
❌ Active Obedience Of Christ: Not observed in the sermon.
✅ The Cross And Atonement:
"The blood of Jesus didn't just forgive you, it transformed you from sinner to saint." [01:20:23 ▶️ 📄]
⚠️ Theological Concerns
🔴 Critical Assertion of Apostolic Political Shift in California
Root Cause: Montanism
"I'm prophesying that California is shifting to a kingdom-based state. God is doing something in our state." [01:54:25 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: He asserts, 'I'm prophesying that California is shifting to a kingdom-based state,' claiming God is moving the spiritual capital of California to Reading.
Why It's Dangerous: This usurps Christ's sole kingship, confuses the spiritual church with civil/political power, and introduces a false, extra-biblical revelation that undermines the sufficiency of Scripture.
Biblical Correction: It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:7-8)
🔴 Critical Word of Faith / Prosperity Gospel (Poverty as a Spirit)
Root Cause: Word of Faith
"And that's the poverty spirit I'm after." [01:26:44 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: He states, 'And that's the poverty spirit I'm after,' personifying poverty as a demonic entity that destroys identity.
Why It's Dangerous: This teaching violates the Creator-creature distinction, distorts the biblical view of suffering, and promotes a prosperity gospel that blames spiritual forces for material conditions rather than trusting in God's providence.
Biblical Correction: But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment, let us be therewith content. (1 Timothy 6:6-8)
🔴 Critical Denial of Ongoing Sinfulness in Believers
Root Cause: Hyper-Grace
"The blood of Jesus didn't just forgive you, it transformed you from sinner to saint." [01:20:19 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: He claims, 'The blood of Jesus didn't just forgive you, it transformed you from sinner to saint,' denying the ongoing reality of sin in the believer.
Why It's Dangerous: This teaching eliminates the need for continuous repentance and reliance on Christ's imputed righteousness, leading to spiritual pride and a false sense of perfection.
Biblical Correction: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:8-10)
🟠 Major Assumed Gospel (Thematic/Moralistic)
Root Cause: Moralism
The Belief/Behavior: The discourse relies on human willpower, moral choice, and strategic vision rather than the sovereign grace of God.
Why It's Dangerous: This reduces the Gospel to a moralistic framework where salvation and sanctification are dependent on human achievement rather than divine grace.
Biblical Correction: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
🟠 Major Acceleration of Revelation in the Last Days
Root Cause: Progressive Revelation Error
"And I'm pointing out that God is doing something like he's accelerating revelation." [01:38:42 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: He claims God is 'accelerating revelation' in the last days, suggesting a progressive increase in divine disclosure.
Why It's Dangerous: This teaching confuses the present age with a progressive increase in revelation, undermining the sufficiency of the completed canon of Scripture.
Biblical Correction: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (Hebrews 1:1-2)
🟠 Major Earthly Legacy over Eternal Hope
Root Cause: Moralistic Therapeutic Deism
"I'm telling you that not having a perpetual vision for the next 1,000, 2,000 years is killing us." [01:34:52 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: He states, 'I'm telling you that not having a perpetual vision for the next 1,000, 2,000 years is killing us,' elevating earthly legacy above eternal hope.
Why It's Dangerous: This treats religion as a tool for temporal achievement, neglecting the biblical hope of eternal life and the sufficiency of Christ's finished work.
Biblical Correction: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
✅ Commendations
Vision | Emphasis on Multi-Generational Legacy
The sermon effectively highlights the importance of laying foundations for future generations, drawing on historical examples like cathedrals and the Wright Brothers to illustrate long-term spiritual impact.
Application | Call to Discipleship
The pastor provides a clear, albeit theologically flawed, call to action for believers to actively engage in discipling nations and exercising spiritual authority.

[00:00:00] Good morning! Good morning! Hey guys, we are so happy to be with you this Sunday morning. Good morning, it's so good to be here. It's been a while. Yeah, Cindy Taylor is joining us today. You guys know her as our missions pastor. Her and her husband John get to lead our entire missions department, whether it's long-term missions, short-term missions. Is there another way? And online missions. And online missions, okay! Yes, because y'all are such a crucial part of our mission.
[00:00:30] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[00:00:30] our vision for missions, our heart to pray together. Y'all are in it with us. That's right.
[00:00:35] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:00:35] Cindy, why don't you open us up with prayer? Anything you're feeling? Thank you, Lord. Just
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[00:00:42] thank you for a new day. We praise you right here in a new day. We praise you, Lord, for all that's ahead. We praise you for the way that you make ahead for us, Lord. Just this morning, just
[00:00:55] meditating on the truth that you make a way where there seems to be no way. So we just release that truth right now for all that's ahead in this beautiful service. In Jesus' name.
[00:01:05] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:01:05] Amen. Amen. Today's a special day. It is week two of Vision Sunday. As many of you guys know, we're doing four weeks in the month of September dedicated to sharing about the vision of what
[00:01:16] God's doing in this house and where we sense we're going. Hallelujah. Pastor Chris will be preaching today. And it's going to be full of vision, not only for who we are, but really, really that blueprint of, we think this is what the Lord's saying. This is where He's leading us.
[00:01:33] This is where we're meant to go. We had such a powerful week last week, just getting things started. But today you're going to hear about equipped classes. We actually have the ways of the kingdom online. They're set up in that room. You can't see, you don't know this, but they're
[00:01:48] right across the hallway. If you're joining us online for that, we had a sign up in our weekly email. And we're excited to host you. But we've got equip classes that we're going to launch.
[00:02:00] You're going to hear about that in the service today. But we've got so many different opportunities for you to get plugged in, for you to serve, whether it's the online community here, whether it's, you know, you guys can serve in your local churches, whatever that looks like. But also,
[00:02:15] I thought it was so special. Last week, you guys saw in service, we are launching a team of missionaries to go into the 1040 window. And Cindy, you are sending them out. 30 of them.
[00:02:29] Yep. We are. We are. We're super excited. It's nuts. I mean, so many of them have either left
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[00:02:34] already or they're about to leave to their first destination. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to be taking a few of them to SFO at six in the morning. So yeah, we're doing this. It's amazing. We're
[00:02:45] super excited. It's just, it's an opportunity. I think there's so many, and I'm sure many of you feel this way that you feel the fire you burn for God's heart for the nations you recognize that
[00:02:57] but sometimes that step like how do I get from doing a one week two week trip to actually going full time and that's why we created this program so it gives gives them a chance to go for eight
[00:03:10] months they're serving for a couple months you know in each place so cool and get to explore what the Lord might have for them.
[00:03:17] It's so cool.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:03:18] Maybe you guys are watching online.
[00:03:20] SFO with San Francisco Airport.
[00:03:22] I don't actually know what the O stands for at this exact moment, but just so you know.
[00:03:29] I like that.
[00:03:30] San Francisco.
[00:03:33] Anyhow, if you guys are watching and you have a heart for missions, I actually, I'll tell this, the brief testimony.
[00:03:39] A few weeks ago, this woman caught me in Hebrews, which is the hallway.
[00:03:43] It's like the coffee shop at Bethel.
[00:03:45] and she goes are you Cassie from online I go I am which small plug if you're ever in town I want to meet you I want to say hi um me too yeah come up and find us um but she said I need you to meet
[00:03:58] this woman this woman is in town she's a part of your online community she is um involved in in home groups in these uh small groups that we do online and she is burning with a heart to go to
[00:04:10] go for missions. And she said that that was birthed through this house. She's just been streaming in and she's been listening to the stories, praying and God marked her and commissioned her for missions. And I feel so many of you, I know we've talked about this before. So many of you feel that
[00:04:25] similar call. Anyways, I walked inside the sanctuary and I got to meet this young woman.
[00:04:31] She's part of a beautiful home group online. And she was just talking about what God has done, how he's marked her for the nations just by streaming online.
[00:04:40] And I know so many of you have a similar call.
[00:04:43] And so I want Cindy to pray.
[00:04:46] If there are people online, if you just feel the burden, whether you feel the burden to pray.
[00:04:52] Actually, one of the things I admire so much about Cindy, one of the things that I honor the most about her life is yes, her call to the nations.
[00:05:00] But this woman is an intercessor.
[00:05:02] This woman has a heart to pray.
[00:05:04] She has a calling to pray.
[00:05:05] and when she pray, things shift.
[00:05:07] Obviously, when we all pray, something happens every single time we pray, but my word, I just look to this woman in so many moments of tribulation or what are we doing or what's God saying?
[00:05:18] And her words bring so much strength.
[00:05:21] And so anyways, if you feel called to that, if you're like, I am burning for the nations, I am burning to go, I'm burning to pray for the ones who will go, I just, I feel like something's gonna be imparted to you
[00:05:33] even now, okay?
[00:05:35] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[00:05:35] Okay. Can I, that was powerful. I just feel like I want to cry right now, but I'm going to pray. But before I pray, I also want to release this, or I want to encourage each one of you,
[00:05:51] like, even if you're not feeling this burning for nations, maybe it's because you've never asked.
[00:05:56] Maybe it's because you've never come to that point where you're like, Lord, would you have that for me. And I've had so many come up to me and say, I never thought about missions before,
[00:06:07] ever. And the Lord began to stir in their hearts. And so for me, it always comes back to that sweet invitation we have every single day to die to ourselves, to die and to fully surrender, fully
[00:06:20] lay down all the plans that we have in our minds. Sometimes we think, oh yeah, God gave me that plan.
[00:06:25] And now I'm running with it, but we don't come back and, and really make sure that we've surrendered it again to the Lord, kept our hands off of it and let him lead.
[00:06:34] And so I first just want to encourage you to be in that place where you can lay it all down, let his fire fall on it, because then his life just brings out what he wants and
[00:06:47] shows you what's ahead.
[00:06:48] So, so yeah, I'm, I also want to encourage you, like we're talking about Vision Sunday and we're talking about missions and it's, it's all one, like we're all pressing in. It's not just this cliche word of, oh, we have vision. We're going to talk about it for four weeks in a row
[00:07:03] because the Bible says that where there is no vision, the people perish. And so as we have vision, our vision is Jesus. And as he leads us forward, then it's just like, we get to partner
[00:07:16] with him in this adventure. So come on, you want me to pray? I want you to pray. Okay. All right.
[00:07:21] Oh, Jesus, we do fully just want to lay our lives down on your altar.
[00:07:27] It's not just lip service.
[00:07:29] It's not just words that we just say.
[00:07:32] We actually want to partner with that.
[00:07:33] Even if our emotions aren't there, we choose to lay it all down, God, because we know you are so trustworthy.
[00:07:40] You're so faithful.
[00:07:42] Lord, we know that you lead us like a shepherd and that often it looks like there is no way forward.
[00:07:49] There's no possible way forward and yet you lead us like a shepherd step by step by step.
[00:07:56] And I declare that over every precious one who's listening to this right now that you lead like a shepherd no matter what we're facing and that we can lay all of our preconceived ideas about what it's supposed to look like down on your altar and let your fire fall
[00:08:11] because you are going to breathe Holy Spirit on that sacrifice, on that offering.
[00:08:17] You're going to breathe on it and let life come up and spring forth.
[00:08:21] So we pray all these things in Jesus' name.
[00:08:24] Come on.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:08:25] As Cindy was praying, I saw this picture of a young teenage girl.
[00:08:29] I don't know if one of you has a daughter.
[00:08:31] I saw like a shepherd's rod and that hook pulling her back.
[00:08:36] And I felt like someone, your daughter had a call to missions.
[00:08:39] And you felt that she was supposed to be a missionary.
[00:08:42] She was a little girl, but she's been actually walking on the wayside.
[00:08:45] and I saw the Lord with a shepherding hook just actually pulling her back.
[00:08:49] And I wanna just speak and encourage you, if that's your daughter, if that's you, and you're like, actually, I think that's me.
[00:08:56] The Lord's calling you back.
[00:08:58] The Lord's reminding you that what He spoke will come to pass.
[00:09:01] He is faithful.
[00:09:03] And so God, we just pray a protection and a covering over anyone who's like walked away from maybe the calling that you put on their lives, God.
[00:09:10] Maybe out of fear, they walked away or they hid.
[00:09:13] But God, that you would bring them back into the fold so that they can actually become all they were created to be.
[00:09:21] Guys, I can feel the Father's heart for us this morning.
[00:09:25] We're about to go into worship, but I want you just to begin to press in to who He is.
[00:09:30] Remember that He is a Father and He's a good Dad.
[00:09:33] He has many purposes and calls for each and every single one of us.
[00:09:38] And that you would be reminded of His radical love for you, even in this moment.
[00:09:43] God, we just thank you that you are our Father, you are our friend, you are our Savior.
[00:09:48] You're the one we get to go to.
[00:09:50] You're the one we get to worship this morning.
[00:09:52] Guys, we love you.
[00:09:53] We'll be back after this service.
[00:09:54] We're expecting for what the Lord is about to do.
[00:09:57] And we'd love to pray for you then.
[00:09:59] We'll see you then.
[00:10:07] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_01]
[00:10:07] Hey, good morning, everybody.
[00:10:08] Great to see you.
[00:10:09] Welcome to Bethel.
[00:10:10] Would you go ahead and stand?
[00:10:12] And if you're talking, just keep that up.
[00:10:13] I'd love for you just to introduce yourself to the folks around you.
[00:10:17] Could be folks from just right down the street from you. So go ahead and stand with me. We're going to get started in just a minute or so, but take a moment to greet the folks that are around you. And if you like worshiping up front,
[00:10:29] head up front. Hello to our online family as well. Glad you're with us. You guys are right up front.
[00:10:49] All right. That's sort of it. Wrap up that love if you would. It is a good day to be in the house of the Lord and to celebrate his great works and his love for us. All right, that's enough love.
[00:11:34] Hush. My phone doesn't recognize me. Hold on. I want to start with the passage of scripture out of Psalms chapter one. The first one says, blessed is the person and then describes things that they
[00:11:52] shouldn't do. But then I want to, I want to read to you, uh, the, the description of what the person who is blessed does. Blessed is one who delights in the law of the Lord. And in his law, he meditates
[00:12:08] day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water. Again, a tree that regularly accesses resource. That's you guys in the house of the Lord. As we meditate on the word,
[00:12:24] as we meditate on what he has said to us to be true, we are like a tree planted by a river, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither and whatever he does he prospers
[00:12:38] just a reminder it's the Lord's been gathering his people for about 3,500 years or so from the time of Moses gathered around the presence in the of the the ark of the the covenant and then
[00:12:51] gathered around the word the law that the the Lord is pouring out the teaching the scripture the Lord's pouring out through Moses. It is normal for the people of God to get together and focus on
[00:13:01] his presence and to be taught in his word. And so we are part of a 3,000 year tradition. David as well. David took it to the next level. He's like, let's get some more instruments in there and then
[00:13:12] wrote tons of worship. And so I hope you've come today, not just with excitement. I like excitement, but we need faith, right? Come into the house of the Lord with faith. And so we're going to take a
[00:13:23] minutes open in prayer. And I would love for you to speak to the Lord about what you are trusting him for this morning. So would you go ahead and just put prayers on your lips just for a couple
[00:13:32] of minutes, a couple of phrases. What are you trusting the Lord for this morning? Begin to begin to talk to him. Talking and listening is an essential part of a disciple. Pray for yourself.
[00:13:44] Pray on your own behalf. Yeah, Lord, we want to be led in truth, established in truth this morning.
[00:13:53] we want to just experience the power of the Holy Spirit as we minister to one another we trust you with the covenant friendships that we have with you and with one another and we long to be transformed to be a little bit more like you more equipped because we have
[00:14:11] gathered together and this morning especially Lord Jesus hear our hearts cry as we sing the gospel over ourselves as we tell the truth about how we were sinners and yet while we were sinners you died for us and called us to yourself we long to celebrate you for you we know you are
[00:14:31] great and greatly to be praised and the people of god said together amen feel free to worship up front if you've never done that before this could be the first sunday you want to come up
[00:14:41] and worship up front but let's enjoy the presence of the lord morning let's sing together you are

[01:02:20] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:02:20] Keep your hands raised as people look for seats all across this room. We do have an overflow down this hall called The Great Room where you will watch on a giant screen. But we'd love to
[01:02:30] have everyone in the room as possible. There's quite a few seats sprinkled everywhere. God bless you. Okay, go ahead and put your hands down because we're going to ask another group of people to raise their hands. Good morning, Bethel family. How are you, Bethel Online? Thank you for joining
[01:02:47] us this morning. That was such a powerful time of worship. But if you're here in this room and this is your very first time at Bethel, we just want to take a moment. We're not going to embarrass
[01:02:56] you in any way. We're just going to have you raise your hand so our ushers can get you something in so we can welcome you here to church this morning. If this is your very first time, just raise your
[01:03:04] hand. There we go. There we go. All across this room. Keep your hands raised. We're not going to embarrass you. We just want to acknowledge that you're here with us. We are so grateful that you
[01:03:15] have chosen to worship with us this morning. Keep your hands raised as our ushers give you something.
[01:03:20] And then we want to meet you in our south lobby over here. We have a visitor banner. We want to pray. We want to prophesy over you. We want to meet you, connect with you, and let you know how
[01:03:29] you can get involved here at Bethel Church. So one big round of applause, Bethel family. Let's welcome our guests this morning. Thank you for joining us. Thank you online if you're joining us for the first time. Welcome as well. Well, I want to just highlight a couple things that we are
[01:03:44] launching into this fall. We are so excited. Today starts our equip classes. Actually, Ways of the Kingdom is happening right now in the East-West Fellowship. I think you can still join next week. And then after that, I think it'll be closed. But we'd love to have you incredibly
[01:03:59] equipped in this season. Right now, we are actually emphasizing a couple things. And these equipped classes are being taught by us leaders and our deacons as well. And so please join us. Scan this QR code. We'd love to have you. And then this fall as well, this October, we as a Bethel church are
[01:04:18] launching home groups, okay? We are, I am so excited. We aren't, this isn't a new thing.
[01:04:25] This started in the book of Acts. We didn't invent this. We are just being biblical. We are seeing people gathered across the city. My goal, Gabe and I, Haley, all of the senior leaders' goal,
[01:04:40] I'm calling it a collective goal. We want to see over a thousand people in home groups this fall.
[01:04:45] We're going to go through the book of Matthew together.
[01:04:47] We're going to learn the ways of Jesus, what he said, what he did.
[01:04:51] We're going to let the word of God transform us.
[01:04:52] We're going to see signs and wonders in our homes.
[01:04:54] We're going to see the lost saved.
[01:04:55] We are going to be changed from the inside out into Christ likeness.
[01:05:00] Amen.
[01:05:00] So get involved in a home group.
[01:05:02] You're going to hear more to come on how you can actually get involved as you are taking a deep breath, take a drink, and watch our church news.
[01:05:24] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_14]
[01:05:24] Jenna, it's my turn.
[01:05:27] I'm Tori Baker, the events director here at Bethel, and we're so glad you're joining us for this beautiful Sunday.
[01:05:33] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:05:33] Is it my turn now?
[01:05:34] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_14]
[01:05:34] This is your turn.
[01:05:36] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:05:36] I'm learning, y'all.
[01:05:37] I'm Jenna Zinn, and I get to serve here at church as a deacon.
[01:05:40] And here are your weekly updates on all things Bethel with this church news.
[01:05:45] With this church news.
[01:05:47] Fall-equipped classes begin this week, and there is an array of classes led by leaders like Tom Crandall, Deborah Enomoto, and others.
[01:05:54] Each week is an opportunity to grow, learn, and be equipped in your walk with Jesus.
[01:05:59] So classes range from four to six weeks, depending on how much commitment you like, just kidding, and are designed to help us go deeper with community and your walk with Jesus.
[01:06:06] Find out more and explore the available classes at Bethel.com slash equip.
[01:06:10] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_14]
[01:06:10] We are thrilled to announce that we're getting ready for Christmas around here at Bethel.
[01:06:14] The Bethel Christmas Market will be Saturday, December 5th, so make sure to mark your calendars.
[01:06:20] And if you're interested in being one of the 140 vendors at this year's market.
[01:06:24] Vendor applications will be opening from September 15th through the 30th.
[01:06:28] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:06:28] 140 vendors.
[01:06:29] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_14]
[01:06:29] That makes sense.
[01:06:30] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:06:30] If you've been, it's epic and overstimulating at the same time, but there's so much.
[01:06:34] You're gonna find something for everybody.
[01:06:36] I feel really excited about this next little blurb because God is doing something so special in our Bethel kids ministry.
[01:06:42] I have a couple of kids in that myself.
[01:06:44] And every week, the kids are literally encountering the presence of the Lord.
[01:06:47] They're like worshiping their hearts out.
[01:06:49] I feel teary just talking about it.
[01:06:51] A couple of weeks ago, we went to collect my fourth grader and they were like, the staff was so kind to like, hey, she's really deep in an encounter.
[01:06:57] Do you want to go do everything else and then circle back to us so that she could stay?
[01:07:01] And I was like, sure.
[01:07:02] So then the rest of our family is just waiting outside the door because she's getting so rocked by the presence of the Lord.
[01:07:06] We were there like 15 minutes extra and then we piggybacked her to the car.
[01:07:10] And as we were putting her in, she was like, mom, it was just such a sweet time with the Lord.
[01:07:13] Like, thanks for like waiting with me.
[01:07:15] So it's a beautiful time.
[01:07:17] Like there's so much happening in our Bethel Kids ministry right now, But we actually need more volunteers.
[01:07:22] We specifically need your help to facilitate what the Lord is doing in those classrooms.
[01:07:28] So we want your help to steward a generation that will know and walk with Jesus.
[01:07:33] To do so, we specifically need help around 915 and 1030 AM services.
[01:07:37] And if you're wanting to serve, please fill out a Bethel Kids Team application at Bethel.ws slash kids.
[01:07:45] Our team will then connect with you about the next steps.
[01:07:47] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_14]
[01:07:47] If you missed any of these announcements, no worries you can catch up on all of the announcements at Bethel.com say it with me
[01:07:54] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:07:54] slash church news I feel like we should give them a quiz to see how well they're no no quizzes it's fine but thank you for staying connected with us and we will see you next week so exciting what's
[01:08:05] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]
[01:08:05] happening here this fall I am excited about what's happening in that kids room but I heard the whole room go when you heard Christmas don't worry guys you have time Christmas is coming but the Christmas
[01:08:14] market vendors needed that announcement it is offering time I'm so excited and in lieu of what's happening with our kids. We're going to do the kids offering today because it is powerful what's happening in that room. Why don't you stand up? Look more excited about offering this morning.
[01:08:29] I don't know about you, but if you realize all that God's given you, it is a joy to give back to the house of God. So we're going to declare this with faith this morning in the room.
[01:08:39] I know that my son's on the front row, so he's ready. He knows this. Ready? All together.
[01:08:43] I am powerful, and what I believe changes the world.
[01:08:48] So today, I declare, God is in a good mood.
[01:08:53] He loves me all the time.
[01:08:56] Nothing can separate me from his love.
[01:08:59] Jesus' blood paid for everything.
[01:09:02] I will tell nations of what he has done.
[01:09:05] I am important.
[01:09:07] How he made me is amazing.
[01:09:10] I was designed for worship.
[01:09:12] My mouth establishes praise to silence the enemy.
[01:09:16] Everywhere I go becomes a perfect health zone.
[01:09:20] And with God, nothing is impossible.
[01:09:23] Amen.
[01:09:24] Well, ushers, you can come forward.
[01:09:26] We're going to pass the buckets.
[01:09:27] There's a QR code to give this morning.
[01:09:30] And as you do that, it is our second week of Vision Sunday.
[01:09:33] Can you welcome Chris Vallotton this morning with me?
[01:09:45] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]
[01:09:45] Good morning.
[01:09:46] Is it morning still?
[01:09:47] Yes, good morning.
[01:09:48] So good to see you.
[01:09:50] It's afternoon somewhere in the world.
[01:09:54] Yes.
[01:09:55] Well, can you guys pass the bags and pray at the same time?
[01:09:58] I'm talking to the guys.
[01:10:01] I know the girls can.
[01:10:02] So let's do that.
[01:10:03] Lord, I just pray you bless the speaker.
[01:10:06] Can I get an amen?
[01:10:08] And Lord, that you bless the congregation today.
[01:10:10] I pray, God, that you would open up new ways of thinking as believers.
[01:10:18] Lord, that you would just open up new ways of thinking.
[01:10:21] I pray, God, that you would get us pregnant with your vision.
[01:10:26] Lord, that what we're doing, what we're doing individually as a church and as a global church, Lord, it would be a manifestation of your imagination.
[01:10:36] I bless this house. I thank you for it. In Jesus' name. Amen.
[01:10:40] God bless you.
[01:10:41] Well, it is Vision Sunday, and I want to talk to you about master builders.
[01:10:48] And the first part of what I'm going to share with you, you probably have heard several times, but I feel so passionate about it.
[01:10:54] So if you'll turn to Matthew 28, we'll start at verse 18.
[01:11:00] And I want you to say this with me.
[01:11:02] All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
[01:11:09] Go, go, therefore, and make disciples of a few nations.
[01:11:17] All nations of all nations.
[01:11:21] Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
[01:11:33] Teach them to observe all I command at you, for I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
[01:11:43] I know I've talked about discipling nations so many times.
[01:11:47] I am a little bit OCD.
[01:11:50] Okay, I'm really OCD.
[01:11:53] I'm the guy that gets up at 3 o'clock in the morning to finish a project I started earlier today and it doesn't need to be done for months.
[01:12:02] I see logs in some of your eyes.
[01:12:03] I just want to tell you, don't judge me, okay?
[01:12:06] And I feel like sometimes, have you ever read scripture and something pops out at you and suddenly you're just obsessed with it?
[01:12:17] It's just, the front row's like, yes.
[01:12:19] Everyone else is like, no, that's never happened to me.
[01:12:21] Well, first you have to read the Bible, okay?
[01:12:23] So let me just say that.
[01:12:24] It's a program you have to like open your Bible, crack it open.
[01:12:28] And you've all had that happen where you're reading your Bible and something jumps out at you as if you've never read it before.
[01:12:33] And many, many years ago, I was reading Matthew 28 and where it said, make disciples of nations.
[01:12:39] I've read that passage many, many times, hundreds, probably thousands of times.
[01:12:44] And yet something happened to me a few years ago and I feel like it's kind of opened up this, maybe this weakness and strength I have that I feel obsessed with this idea of discipling nations.
[01:12:58] And about a year ago, I was in this encounter with the Lord, and I said to the Lord, Lord, could you please let me live long enough to see one nation discipled by Christians?
[01:13:10] Would it be possible that you could just extend my life long enough, not that I'm watching from heaven and watching our teams and our people we love and Christians all over the world, but could I just be on earth long enough
[01:13:21] to see one nation.
[01:13:24] I mean, I feel like I'm carrying this obsession, like could one nation be discipled by God?
[01:13:31] And I started just thinking about so much like discipling of nations, and somehow I feel like I'm pregnant with this idea.
[01:13:38] I feel like I'm pregnant with something to give birth to.
[01:13:41] I want to get you pregnant with the same idea.
[01:13:46] I paused too long in last service, and they just went nuts, and I was like, I was trying to think of the next thing I was going to say, but about, I don't know, a little while ago,
[01:13:57] a month ago or a month and a half ago, I woke up at three o'clock in the morning and this is my obsessive compulsive thing.
[01:14:04] It's common for me.
[01:14:05] I woke up and I was just thinking about discipling of nations and I was on fire with it.
[01:14:10] I was like, and I got chat GBT, you know, chat GBT, he really likes me.
[01:14:19] I think we're building a friendship.
[01:14:21] And I asked chat GBT, I said, how many nations are Muslims discipling?
[01:14:26] And it said, give me the definition of discipling.
[01:14:29] And I gave it a really simple definition anyone would agree with.
[01:14:33] And it came back and it said 53.
[01:14:35] In fact, it said if you change this one part of the definition, 55.
[01:14:39] I said, okay, use the same definitions and tell me how many nations Christians are discipling in the 21st century.
[01:14:46] It said none.
[01:14:48] None.
[01:14:49] Not one.
[01:14:51] And I laid there, I don't know, I haven't been overcome with emotion yet today.
[01:14:57] I just laid there and I thought, why are Muslims discipling 53 nations and we've been commissioned to disciple nations and on my watch and your watch, we aren't discipling a single nation.
[01:15:09] And on my watch and your watch, 53 nations are being discipled under my lifetime, in my lifetime.
[01:15:17] And by the way, they have a strategy, the Muslims have a strategy that's growing.
[01:15:21] I proposed, they're about to disciple New York.
[01:15:24] They're moving into Texas.
[01:15:26] They are aggressively working their strategy.
[01:15:30] I worked in England behind the scenes and met with parliamentary people for five years.
[01:15:35] And I was there when they voted Brexit in.
[01:15:40] And it was very unpopular.
[01:15:42] And actually, the year I went there, no one thought it was gonna pass.
[01:15:46] But you know why it passed?
[01:15:48] The inside story of why it passed?
[01:15:50] Because the Muslims had already taken over 13 provinces in England and inserted Sharia law.
[01:15:59] And you know that they have open borders, right?
[01:16:01] They have open borders in Europe.
[01:16:02] Like if you're in the European Union, you can go from country to country like we can go from state to state.
[01:16:08] And England could not close its borders.
[01:16:11] And the Muslims were coming in, and they're still coming in.
[01:16:14] They're making England a Muslim country.
[01:16:18] And then they reproduce like, I was going to say rabbits, but they have lots of children.
[01:16:27] Listen, I'm not trying to be dishonoring in any way.
[01:16:31] I'm pointing out, are Muslims smarter than you?
[01:16:34] No.
[01:16:36] Are they serving the real God?
[01:16:38] I would say no.
[01:16:40] And I'm like, but we have been commissioned and called and anointed and gifted to disciple nations.
[01:16:48] and in my lifetime we haven't discipled a single nation and in my lifetime Muslims are discipling nations and there's and they're and they have a strategy and so I started thinking about what is keeping Christians from discipling nations well first of all I want to say you know one of
[01:17:08] the stupid strategies we have in the world is we fight each other on social media then we ask the world to come to the, you should come to Christ and have a wonderful life like we have. Except
[01:17:18] for all these people that are Christians that I don't like. And I heard this word, and I asked the Lord, Lord, what is keeping us from discipling nations? And the first word I heard is that the
[01:17:33] body of Christ has an identity crisis. I want to point out 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 9, if you're writing down the scripture, but you are a chosen race. Say this to me, chosen race,
[01:17:45] a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession. Come on, guys. So that you, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who's called you out of darkness and into his marvelous light.
[01:18:08] I want to point out, you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession.
[01:18:17] And what's the reason?
[01:18:18] That you may proclaim what?
[01:18:19] His excellencies.
[01:18:21] How many know that the Lord is, that the Lord believes in excellence?
[01:18:26] That everything he makes is beautiful.
[01:18:29] Like, look around.
[01:18:30] You were made in his image and in his likeness.
[01:18:32] God thinks you're beautiful.
[01:18:35] Are you with me?
[01:18:36] all. So the question is, how do royal people behave? How do royal people think? In 1 Samuel chapter 10, and I'll read to you in a minute, but Israel was led by judges. Judges were prophets.
[01:18:56] The senior prophets became their leader. And Samuel was the last prophet who became a judge who was the leader of a nation. Are you with me? So he'd be equal like to a president or like a
[01:19:08] king or a prime minister. He was the leader. And the Lord was about to anoint Saul and then later David as king. And so they're moving, they're moving from prophets to kings. Are you following
[01:19:24] me? And it says this in verse 25, chapter 10 of 1 Samuel in the New King James, it says, then Samuel explained to the people the behavior of royalty. He wrote it in a book and he laid it
[01:19:38] before the Lord. And Samuel sent the people away and every man to his house. And Saul also went to Gibeath, and valiant men went with him whose hearts God had touched. Let me stop right there.
[01:19:50] My prayer today is that God would touch every heart today with the ways of royalty. That God would take valiant men, he would take valiant women, and that he would touch you with a royal
[01:20:03] commissioning, with a royal anointing, with a royal gift, and you would begin to see yourself as somebody who's sitting in heavenly places with Christ. How many understand? You are joint heirs with Christ Jesus. He is reigning, and you are reigning with him. The greatest lie in
[01:20:19] Christendom that is keeping us from discipling nations is that you are sinners saved by grace.
[01:20:23] Once you got saved by grace, you are no longer a sinner. The blood of Jesus didn't just forgive you, it transformed you from sinner to saint.
[01:20:32] You got a new heart and a new mind.
[01:20:34] I got a new heart and a new mind.
[01:20:35] I went backwards.
[01:20:36] You got a new heart and a new mind.
[01:20:39] Are you with me?
[01:20:41] And how many understand that Jesus is not sitting on the Jesus throne?
[01:20:44] He's sitting on the throne of David.
[01:20:47] Forever and ever.
[01:20:48] Are you with me?
[01:20:48] And you are sitting with him in heavenly places.
[01:20:50] You already seated in heavenly places.
[01:20:52] Your dad is not president of presidents.
[01:20:54] He is king of kings.
[01:20:59] That's a good word.
[01:21:00] I don't know why I'm yelling.
[01:21:01] and pointed out we have to get a mindset of people who think they should be leading.
[01:21:12] I was praying, this is just two weeks ago, and I was struggling.
[01:21:17] I was just having some anxiety over something.
[01:21:20] And I know that never happens to you, but I just kind of had this fearful moment.
[01:21:27] And I prayed, and I had this encounter with the Lord.
[01:21:29] It only lasted like a minute and a half.
[01:21:31] And this is what he said to me.
[01:21:32] I've actually shared it a couple times here.
[01:21:35] The Lord said to me, you have a puny God.
[01:21:39] He said, I need you to serve the God of the universe.
[01:21:44] He said, if you understood who you were serving, you would never worry.
[01:21:48] Then he said, a puny God is an idol.
[01:21:49] It cannot do miracles.
[01:21:51] It cannot speak.
[01:21:51] It cannot protect you.
[01:21:53] He said, I am the God of the universes that you are serving.
[01:21:56] Stop serving a puny God.
[01:21:59] I am the creator.
[01:22:00] I made it rain one day and the sun shines the next.
[01:22:02] I am the God that changes the circumstances overnight I stopped serving a puny God.
[01:22:10] I know this is going out over there.
[01:22:12] They're like, that's Bethel.
[01:22:13] They serve an idol.
[01:22:16] I'm pointing out that one of the reasons that we're not discipling nations is because we're serving the wrong God.
[01:22:21] You understand what I'm trying to say in context, right?
[01:22:24] Take it in context.
[01:22:25] I'm saying we're serving Jesus Christ, but we don't realize he's King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
[01:22:29] He said to us, I've called you to make disciples of nations.
[01:22:32] What does that mean?
[01:22:33] Teach them everything I taught you.
[01:22:35] Okay?
[01:22:37] Okay, what?
[01:22:38] You're not doing it. Okay. So Moses, okay. I'm about to read to you Deuteronomy 8, but I want to set it up for you. The Israelites have just left Egypt, right? They're in the wilderness.
[01:22:54] So they've been in Egypt for 400 years. That's a long time. I'd say that they have a gangster, you know, slave poverty mentality. And now God wants to move them into the promised land.
[01:23:10] Are you with me?
[01:23:11] And so he's trying to change the way they think.
[01:23:13] So you have to understand, these people are slaves, and God is trying to teach them, don't think like that, think like this.
[01:23:22] So Deuteronomy 8, if we had time, we'd read the whole chapter, because it's all about changing the way you think.
[01:23:28] Egyptians, Israelites, change the way you think.
[01:23:32] And he says this in the midst of it.
[01:23:34] Verse 18, but you shall remember the Lord, you shall remember the Lord your God for it is he who has given you power to make wealth say this it is he who has given me
[01:23:47] the power to make wealth okay help me that he may confirm his covenant which he swore to your fathers as it is even to this day okay he says to the the enslaved now free Israelites
[01:24:08] I have given you power to make wealth. What's the reason? To confirm the covenant I made with you.
[01:24:17] Listen, if wealth was inherently evil, it couldn't confirm a righteous covenant. Are you with me?
[01:24:24] Okay, so remember, he's taking these people out of Egypt, and it's like he's trying to get them to think like royal people. And he says, I gave you power to make wealth. What for? To confirm my
[01:24:37] covenant with you. Okay, think about it. This is jealousy evangelism. God's like, I'm going to so bless you. People around, the nations around you go, hey, how come they're blessed? And they go, oh, well, Yahweh's their God. Jehovah's their God. And God's like, I'm going to bless you. It's going
[01:24:55] to confirm I have a covenant with you. Okay, now follow me. Before you go, he's teaching the prosperity gospel. I'm leaving. Okay, let me point out, you can have no money and be prosperous.
[01:25:08] and be wealthy. You can be rich and be poor and not be wealthy. Are you with me? Okay, so I'm not talking about measuring your spirituality, but what you own. Okay, now the word wealth, which in Hebrew is spelled C-H-A-Y-I-L, which I won't attempt to say it,
[01:25:32] but I think it's something like something like that in Hebrew. Okay, so I'm going to give you the power to make wealth, not the word power, okay? Okay, I'm not talking about the word power,
[01:25:45] are you with me? I'm talking about the Hebrew word wealth that we just read, are you with me?
[01:25:51] Okay, the word wealth here, that word I just tried to pronounce for you so beautifully, is translated wealth 25 times, got me? It's translated in the new American standard army 82 times.
[01:26:08] You didn't get what I just said.
[01:26:11] The Hebrew word for wealth was translated wealth 25 times.
[01:26:15] I'm going to give you the power to make wealth.
[01:26:18] But the word wealth is actually translated 82 times army.
[01:26:24] I'm pointing out that prosperity isn't money, it's a power.
[01:26:29] God says to the Israelites, I'm going to release an army.
[01:26:32] And that army is going to bring you so much favor that people are going to go, who is their God?
[01:26:37] And they're going to say they made a covenant with the God of heaven.
[01:26:41] Are you with me?
[01:26:42] I point out that poverty is not about money.
[01:26:44] That poverty is also a spirit.
[01:26:47] It doesn't just, it wants to strip people of their identity.
[01:26:50] It wants to destroy people.
[01:26:52] It wants them to be hungry and sick.
[01:26:54] And that's the poverty spirit I'm after.
[01:26:57] And God said to the Israelites and into us, I have given you the power to make wealth.
[01:27:02] Listen, if you're going to disciple nations, you have to think, I have something to give them.
[01:27:06] I have an army that's with me God has released an army for the message he sent me it's not me alone it's not you alone it's not Bethel Church alone it's not Christians alone how many of you know
[01:27:17] that we have made strategic alliances with heavenly allies and we have angel help we have the mind of Christ we're seated in heavenly places we have the Holy Spirit working through us and Muslims have none of that
[01:27:30] and we should I'm sorry I got excited about three years ago you've heard this part of this message about three years ago I had this vision I had no it was a dream of blowing a trumpet
[01:27:50] and shouting the kings are coming and all of you that were here we did that we shouted I had the trumpet player play four times kings are coming it felt so stupid but anyway and we shouted the kings are coming
[01:28:06] and you know and I started having all this this revelation at night I just kept having night dreams like I was having I probably had 10 night dreams about what I'm sharing with you.
[01:28:16] And then wake up with these visions.
[01:28:20] I've not had an open vision yet around this, but several where I wake up and like a video is playing in my mind.
[01:28:27] And the Lord's like, the kings are coming, the kings are coming, the kings are coming to help you.
[01:28:31] And Isaiah 60 verse 11, that your gates will be open continually.
[01:28:34] They'll not be closed day or night, that the wealth of nations might come to you.
[01:28:38] The kings are being led by the procession.
[01:28:40] And the Lord then had another encounter.
[01:28:42] this is a wall within that time and the Lord said to me make a place for the kings in the middle of the night make a place for the kings the kings are coming and I woke up and I said
[01:28:51] Lord who are the kings and what does it mean to make a place for them and I was sobbing I was like Lord who are these kings and the Lord said to me you've made a place for children
[01:29:01] and you've made a place for the homeless and the broken you have women's ministries men's ministries children's ministry teenage ministry but my kings they have no place and I just laid there and I'm like, oh Lord, who are the kings?
[01:29:14] And by the way, we're all kings.
[01:29:16] Paul said, you're already kings.
[01:29:19] But let me point out that there was a specific class of king he was talking about.
[01:29:24] And I saw CEOs of large companies and I saw government leaders, people who have responsibility for hundreds and thousands of people and the Lord's like, those people, they have no place to belong.
[01:29:35] How many know, we have one of our kings, she's over a very large company.
[01:29:41] She has 67,000 employees.
[01:29:42] How many of you know when she sits in a home group with 20 other people who all are employees, and she's leading a company like that, how many of you know she has things that other people can't relate to?
[01:29:54] And the Lord said, I need you to make a place for kings.
[01:29:58] And out of that came, a year later, we started Regis, R-E-G-I-S, and we had a summit here, actually.
[01:30:07] We invited people, CEOs of companies of 10 million or over, and they paid a large price to be here and we had a summit right here and we had breakfast on the Sundial Bridge and they have become a community.
[01:30:22] And I realize that entrepreneurs know how to build things.
[01:30:28] And if Lord, I feel like the Lord is setting us up, are you with me?
[01:30:32] To make disciples of nations.
[01:30:34] If you can't lead a business, I don't know how you're gonna lead a nation.
[01:30:40] And I thought, Lord, you're bringing the wealth and the Lord's like, you think the wealth is money, but the wealth isn't money.
[01:30:45] It's favor, it's power.
[01:30:47] These people have an army.
[01:30:49] These people know how to build things.
[01:30:50] I am sending you entrepreneurs.
[01:30:52] I'm sending you government people.
[01:30:54] I'm sending you leaders that know how to build something because I've called you to make disciples of nations and they're gonna teach you how to actually lead something big.
[01:31:03] And we're in the middle of the third great awakening.
[01:31:08] I'm gonna give you real quickly five definitions of wealth that are in the Bible.
[01:31:14] mentalities. Number one, wealth is the ability, resources, strength, and wisdom to create positive outcomes in the midst of lack, poverty, and emptiness. Number two, wealth is light and darkness, healing and sickness, prosperity and poverty, wholeness and brokenness, favor and
[01:31:32] obscurity, love for the unlovely, beauty for ashes, and victors among victims. Number three, wealth is a can-do attitude, a more-than-enough mindset, and a nothing's impossible belief system.
[01:31:44] number four wealth is radical generosity extraordinary compassion sacrificial giving and profound humility and number five wealth is always thankful it's never jealous it doesn't brag it celebrates others and it looks to the future guys we got to get out of being jealous
[01:32:04] of one another being envious of one another we got to get out of the i'll tell them what i think on social media, listen, listen, I just want to say, if you trust me as one of your shepherds,
[01:32:16] please stop giving negative comments to people. If you don't like something, be quiet. Well, I'm stopping that bad movement. Nobody cares what you say on comments. And when you say bad stuff to people because you think you're, you know, whatever, you're stopping a wolf or
[01:32:34] whatever, those people, you only have as much influence in people's lives as they have value for you. They just block your comment and go on. And it's just Christians fighting Christians and it's got to stop. I want to point out that big church leaders don't, they don't get on social
[01:32:49] media and accuse other big church leaders. It's all based in, some of it's probably fine, but most of it is just based in jealousy and competition and compete. And then we're doing it in front of
[01:32:59] the whole world. And we're saying to the whole world, come to Jesus. You can be like us. Come them, guys. If we're going to be, listen, if we're going to actually disciple nations, we've got to
[01:33:14] think differently. Can I point out that what we're doing doesn't work? Can I say that again? Well, how do you know that? We're discipling nobody. So number one, we have to think differently, but we have to have a royal identity. Number two, we have to get out of this rapture mentality.
[01:33:41] Jesus may come back any minute.
[01:33:43] He may come back any minute for you anyway.
[01:33:47] He told me, I'm taking you home in 50 years.
[01:33:49] I'm like, oh my gosh, that creates anxiety.
[01:33:51] Let's see, I'll be 120.
[01:33:54] He told me he's coming back for you in 100 years, so what are you laughing about?
[01:33:58] You're all gonna die.
[01:34:04] I mean, listen, Jesus could come back any minute.
[01:34:07] It's in the Bible.
[01:34:08] We should be prepared like he's gonna come back tomorrow.
[01:34:10] I have a friend I played basketball with three months ago.
[01:34:12] I played basketball with him for the last 18 years.
[01:34:15] 54 years old I played basketball with him on Friday and on Saturday he went he died as far as we know in perfect health I'm just pointing out you don't know what day Jesus is taking you home
[01:34:24] if that doesn't create urgency I don't know why we have to create a beast no not create why we have to worry about a beast that's going to eat you I'll tell you what I listen I believe Jesus gave
[01:34:34] me authority over him if he eats me I'm going to be the happiest person I'm going to be his happy meal. I'm telling you that not having a perpetual vision for the next 1,000, 2,000 years is killing
[01:34:52] us. Well, Jesus said he'd be right back. That was 2,000 years ago. When you're eternity, that's a short time. It's like, Lord, I need you to solve my financial problem. You go, I'll do it right
[01:35:03] away. I'm like, oh, Lord, no, not right away. Give me a date. I want to point out that we need to think legacy. Legacy is what you leave behind. We need to think inheritance. That's what you receive
[01:35:14] and possess because of who you belong to.
[01:35:16] And heritage, that's the culture that you hand down from generation to generation.
[01:35:21] We have to think like this.
[01:35:22] Remember Jesus said, take everything I taught you and teach it to them.
[01:35:30] John Adams wrote to his beloved Abigail on May 12, 1780.
[01:35:36] He said, I must study politics and war that my sons may have the liberty to study mathematics and philosophy.
[01:35:42] He said, my sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy and geography and natural history and naval architecture and navigation and commerce and agriculture in order to give their children the right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture,
[01:36:04] tapestry, and porcelain.
[01:36:06] I'm saying we're laying a foundation.
[01:36:08] Others are building on top of it.
[01:36:11] We're going out to war.
[01:36:12] We are warring.
[01:36:13] We are taking land.
[01:36:14] Not so that our sons and daughters can learn war so they can learn architecture so they can learn beauty are you with me this is how we need to think can you bring those I had a prophetic word given to me about five years ago
[01:36:32] in the form of a couple of did you break my thing you can give me this so uh this is the Wright brothers plane and it flew 12 seconds in December 17, 1903. And this is Weaverville, according to the prophecy. This is the SR-71. This is the SR-71
[01:37:09] Blackbird. Did I say it right? Yes. And it flew Mach 3, 61 years after Weaverville. And the prophecy that this man gave me, he said, this is Weaverville. He said, this is Bethel. And he said,
[01:37:30] it only took 61 years from this to this, and he said God is accelerating the revelation he's giving to his people. But I want to point out that five years later, God gave us this. Not me.
[01:37:49] That is the Apollo 11, and in 1969, Neil Armstrong landed on the moon's surface five years after this.
[01:38:02] I don't know if you see where I'm going.
[01:38:04] I'm saying from the Wright brothers plane to the moon was 68 years.
[01:38:11] 68 years.
[01:38:13] Man lived on the planet for what?
[01:38:15] Thousands of years.
[01:38:16] We could argue about how long he's been here.
[01:38:18] And never flew.
[01:38:20] Never flew anything.
[01:38:24] And in 68 years, he goes from flying 12 seconds to going to the moon.
[01:38:35] Are you with me?
[01:38:36] And I'm pointing out that God is doing something like he's accelerating revelation.
[01:38:42] Daniel said, in the last days knowledge will increase.
[01:38:45] And I don't think he's talking about AI.
[01:38:46] I think he's talking about the knowledge of the glory of God that will cover the earth as the water covers the sea.
[01:38:52] If you think AI is something, wait till you see spiritual intelligence.
[01:38:55] The mind of Christ.
[01:38:57] Are you with me?
[01:38:59] Blake Healy gave us this word a year ago.
[01:39:04] He said, you can have lots of things wrong and still drive a car.
[01:39:08] He said, you can have less things wrong and still fly a plane.
[01:39:12] But he said, if you take a rocket to the moon, you can't have even a bad O-ring.
[01:39:21] And I'm pointing out that you want to know why God is making the crooked places straight in his church, why he's calling us to another level of righteousness, because this is where we're going.
[01:39:33] We are going from here to here and where we're going now, then righteousness cannot take us there.
[01:39:40] I had a vision in 2020 during COVID and in the vision, I saw this rocket ship.
[01:39:49] I saw this rocket ship actually land on the moon and I just felt like the Lord said, this is a parable of where you're going.
[01:39:56] I'm like, okay.
[01:39:57] I watched it over and over and over and over, the takeoff of the Apollo 11, the landing on the moon.
[01:40:03] And I was like, okay, Lord, what's the parable?
[01:40:05] And finally, after watching it, I don't know, 10 or 15 times for a couple hours, I noticed that when the rocket left the atmosphere, went into the stratosphere, that the boosters that got it out of the stratosphere, which are just big rockets that are full of fuel,
[01:40:27] that it actually exercised all the fuel out of those boosters so that when it left the atmosphere, it took so much energy to get out of the atmosphere that literally it used up all the fuel in the boosters.
[01:40:42] And when it got into the stratosphere, when the rocket got into the stratosphere, those rockets that once got them out of the atmosphere were now absent of fuel and they were just dead weight.
[01:40:54] So what did the engineers do?
[01:40:57] they had them fall off. The boosters fell off. And the Lord said to me, you've just left the atmosphere and what got you out of the atmosphere is no longer necessary. And he said to me, oh gosh,
[01:41:10] in Hebrews chapter 12, verse one, it says, therefore, since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let's lay aside every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles us. The word encumbrance is the word weight. How many know it's not just sin that keeps us from
[01:41:25] the moon are called destiny. It's not just sin. It's also encumbrances. It's weight.
[01:41:34] And I'd like to point out that sometimes we canonize things. Sometimes we canonize things that helped us in one season, and then they have no more fuel. They're no longer projecting anything. They're no longer pushing us anywhere. And we feel obligated to hold them along because,
[01:41:50] oh my gosh, they're the things that got us out of here. Yes, but we're in the stratosphere now, and what got us out of the stratosphere isn't what's going to take us to the moon.
[01:42:01] And I'd point out that the Lord is pruning his body and no one ever prunes for less fruits.
[01:42:08] We prune for, are you with me at all?
[01:42:11] The Lord is pruning you.
[01:42:13] He's pruning me.
[01:42:13] You're like, there's something wrong.
[01:42:14] No, there's something right.
[01:42:16] We're not just flying around the globe.
[01:42:20] We're going to the moon, metaphorically speaking.
[01:42:22] God has called us to go where we've never gone before.
[01:42:27] Good word, Chris.
[01:42:29] We have to have a thousand year vision.
[01:42:32] We have to ask ourselves, can what God is building at Bethel and the rest of the world, can it make the treacherous journey into the stratosphere of centuries and shape the world to come with the goodness of God?
[01:42:50] Can what we're teaching today, can it actually a thousand years from now be laid as a foundation in the centuries to come for the nations to actually see the goodness of God, the power of God, the love of God.
[01:43:03] You get the idea where I'm going.
[01:43:05] Do you know that churches in the ancient world, that churches took hundreds of years to build?
[01:43:18] Okay, for example, Claude Cathedral in Germany took 632 years to build.
[01:43:28] Milan Cathedral in Italy took 579 years to build.
[01:43:32] In Prague, the cathedral there took 585 years to build.
[01:43:38] The Canterbury Cathedral in England took 764 years to build, partly because they took 300 years off.
[01:43:45] Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris took 182 years to build.
[01:43:50] York Minister in England took 242 years to build.
[01:43:54] I'm just telling you, I'm pointing out that if you, okay, wait, let me tell you what, sorry.
[01:44:02] Slow down, you're going too fast.
[01:44:06] If I am not, this is what I'm not saying.
[01:44:09] I'm not saying that someone started a cathedral and then the next guy, the next leader added on to it, next leader added on to it.
[01:44:16] That's not happened.
[01:44:17] The architectural plan that the architect drew took 682 years to build.
[01:44:26] If you design a building that takes 682 years to build, you probably are thinking about the future.
[01:44:41] And guess what?
[01:44:41] that church, well, that's a Catholic church, and I understand what you think about that, but that church actually discipled nations. Part of the reason is they discipled nations is because they had a multi-generational vision. Are you with me? I'd like to point out that what
[01:44:59] Bethel's doing today, are we thinking about, well, we're going to finish this building in the next three years, and how's that going? I'm like, we're not just thinking about the next three, four, five years. We're not just thinking about our children's church, and we'll talk about that in
[01:45:11] minute, all amazing stuff. But I'm thinking about how is what we're doing today going to affect the generations for decades, for centuries? Like we have to think like this if we're going to change the world. Something has to change. Like what got us here won't keep us here. We're in the
[01:45:28] stratosphere. We're not here anymore. And look at this. Even the propeller fell off while I was using my illustration.
[01:45:49] Okay, I've gone a long time already.
[01:45:51] Okay, the last thing I want to talk about, a powerless and polluted church undermines our mission.
[01:45:58] In Acts chapter eight, it's the story of Philip who went down to Samaria.
[01:46:01] Now, the reason why Philip went down to Samaria is because the church of Jerusalem was being persecuted, so they fled.
[01:46:08] And Philip goes down to Samaria and he begins to preach the gospel and to demonstrate signs and wonders.
[01:46:15] It says, for the case of many, many unclean spirits came out, and they were shouting with a loud voice, and many of them, many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed. So there was so much rejoicing in that city.
[01:46:25] It goes on to say that Simon the sorcerer, who was practicing magic, and who was called the great power of God, comes to Christ, and they have this massive revival turning into reformation.
[01:46:36] And here's what it says in verse 14 of chapter 8. When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, and they came and prayed for them, and
[01:46:47] they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Okay, what's the point I'm making? The power of God through Philip, the power of God, the power of God was displacing the powers of darkness, and when the apostles heard that the power of God was displacing the powers of darkness,
[01:47:03] they sent them Peter and John. Who were they? Apostles. The power of God was displacing the powers of darkness, and the government of God was replacing the powers of darkness.
[01:47:12] How many understand if you kick a demon out of a person, but you don't fill it with the Holy Spirit, how many know seven spirits worse than the first comes back, and that person's condition's worse
[01:47:22] than it was before he got delivered?
[01:47:24] Are you with me?
[01:47:25] And I'm pointing out that cities are the same.
[01:47:27] If you can have a big crusade, you can have evangelists and all of that happening, and thousands of people get saved, but the point is that if you displace the devil, but you don't replace it with government,
[01:47:39] how many understand that you have created a space where the enemy just keeps coming back.
[01:47:44] And I'd point out that every major country that received Christ in the first century is actually now a Muslim country.
[01:47:56] Do you know that?
[01:47:58] Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, North Africa, Iraq.
[01:48:03] It goes on and on.
[01:48:04] Those were all the places where the Bible people went.
[01:48:07] Those are the places where Peter went, where Paul went, where they planted churches.
[01:48:10] Those were Christian nations for generations, and now they're Muslim nations.
[01:48:21] I propose that New York is about to become a Muslim state.
[01:48:26] I propose that Texas, I'm telling you, there is a strategy from the demonic realm, and if we don't rise up and take our place, how many of you understand it's in the vacuum of us
[01:48:37] doing what God called us to that allows the enemy to come in and do what he's doing?
[01:48:47] In 1 Corinthians 3, verse 10, Paul wrote this.
[01:48:50] According to the grace of God, which he gave me, like a master builder, I laid a foundation, and another is building on it.
[01:48:59] In Hebrews 11, verse 10, it says, Abraham was looking for a city that had foundations and whose architect and builder was God.
[01:49:08] It says, remember, Paul said, like a master builder, I laid a foundation.
[01:49:14] Bible says that Abraham was looking for a city that had foundations and whose builder and maker is God.
[01:49:20] I point out that apostles and prophets are the foundation of the church.
[01:49:23] Jesus is the cornerstone.
[01:49:25] And people are like, well, we don't need foundations anymore.
[01:49:28] We have apostles and prophets.
[01:49:29] We're a foundation of the first century church and we don't need apostles and prophets anymore.
[01:49:33] I'm like, then you don't need Jesus because he's the cornerstone of the foundation.
[01:49:38] And that isn't true.
[01:49:40] Are you with me?
[01:49:41] And I'm pointing out that we need the government of God and the power of God.
[01:49:47] or we displace demons, but we take no territory.
[01:49:52] It was Napoleon who said the object of war is victory, but the object of victory is occupation.
[01:49:56] But I'd point out the object of occupation is transformation.
[01:50:06] The kings are coming.
[01:50:09] We blew a trumpet in here a couple of years ago, if some of you were in here.
[01:50:14] We blew a trumpet, and we prophesied, the kings are coming, the kings are coming.
[01:50:18] I had this dream that the Lord said, blow a trumpet and prophesy the kings are coming.
[01:50:22] I know it's kind of stupid, but it was kind of fun.
[01:50:25] And I believe that we opened a new era, that the Lord is opening a new era.
[01:50:31] We're in the midst of a third great awakening.
[01:50:33] The Lord is joining the prophets, the priests, and the kings.
[01:50:35] I believe the Lord is doing something powerful in California.
[01:50:39] I had this dream a few years ago that Bill and I, we were in the dream, Bill and I were being chased by this bear, and Bill fell down and I picked him up.
[01:50:46] I always do that.
[01:50:48] And I picked him up and the bear got to us and I woke up and I was sweating and my heart was pounding and I woke Kathy up at three o'clock in the morning and I said,
[01:50:59] this bear came and I'm building on and he fell down and I picked him up and she's like, and she prayed for me like, and I was like, oh God bless him.
[01:51:07] I'm like, that is not going to work.
[01:51:09] I need a real prayer.
[01:51:12] The next night I had the same dream again.
[01:51:14] We were running and Bill fell down and went to pick him up and the bear came over and he got to us and he hugged us and I woke up and my heart was pounding
[01:51:23] and I woke her up again and I said, this time the bear caught us and then hugged us and she's in a dead sleep she rolls over at three o'clock in the morning she goes
[01:51:31] the bear is California you know the bear California bear I'd like to point out the bear is friendly like we have to realize like we don't have a puny God I point out that this is the golden state
[01:51:48] where the four square movement began the vineyard movement began the Calvary Chapel movement began the Azusa Street movement began the Bethel movement began the Jesus movement began and do you know that our forefathers had San Francisco, the city of St. Francis
[01:52:04] and how many in Los Angeles, the city of angels and between San Francisco and between San Francisco and Los and the city of angels is a highway called El Camino.
[01:52:14] You know what El Camino means?
[01:52:15] It means the king's highway.
[01:52:19] Oh man, I can get fired up.
[01:52:22] I'm just pointing out that the early our early church fathers, they actually were discipling nations they thought like kings how many know the sacramental river runs through our city the sacramental river are you getting this at all the sacraments
[01:52:39] you're looking at me like no i'm not getting it actually i had another dream giving you all these dreams i had another dream and in the dream i heard that heard the lord say i'm changing the
[01:52:57] capital city of California. And he said, I'm moving the capital to Reading. I'm like, oh Lord, I'm not going to say that. And I want to be clear what I'm not saying. Well, it's probably, I'm not
[01:53:10] saying, shut up. I admit when I'm wrong. I'm not saying that Reading will literally be the capital of California. But what I felt the Lord say is I am shifting the power base of California and
[01:53:31] apostolic movement is coming out already. It's going to shift the course of history. Now, wait now, before you say anything else, I want to point out that God is doing something powerful here.
[01:53:43] Now, I want you to understand that I don't know if California is going to change in the next election. I'm thinking it might take 100 to 200 to 300 years. And I'm pointing out that we are
[01:53:55] not accustomed to doing something, laying a foundation that other people build on that shifts a nation over 100 years, over 200 years. God prophesied that Josiah would become king from an unnamed prophet. Josiah would become king. It's 367 years before he became king. I'd say God
[01:54:14] has a long-term vision. And I'm pointing out that what God started in the third great awakening that we're about to be a part of, that it's the beginning of something. It's opening the door.
[01:54:25] It may take 50 years, 100 years. It may take 200 years. But I'm prophesying that California is shifting to a kingdom-based state.
[01:54:34] God is doing something in our state.
[01:54:37] Are you with me at all?
[01:54:39] God is expanding our vision and he is expanding our capacity.
[01:54:49] October 31st, 2022, the day before, I had a, Kathy and I went to dinner and I said to Kathy, I'm quitting Bethel, I'm exhausted.
[01:55:03] And she's like, all right, and we prayed and I that night on October 31st I had a dream I won't tell you the whole dream but I'll tell you this part I was giving back Bethel to the Lord he said you can't give that away you can't
[01:55:23] give away what I give you and he said here's the plan and he said I'm going to give you a five-year plan and you're going to take you're going to anoint some leaders 20 leaders he gave me about
[01:55:35] and they're gonna join you, Bill, Kathy and Dan and I'm gonna increase the capacity of Bethel so that you can do what's never been done before in modern history.
[01:55:47] I'm gonna increase the capacity and you're gonna find people, not just people that replace you, you're gonna find people that run with you until your commission is done.
[01:55:59] And I said, Lord, how am I gonna know who they are?
[01:56:01] He said, I will tell you.
[01:56:02] I said, Lord, how am I gonna know who they are?
[01:56:03] He said, I will tell you.
[01:56:04] I said, listen, I need to know who they are.
[01:56:09] He said, I will tell you.
[01:56:11] And so the next morning, I was just thinking about that.
[01:56:14] I came to work, and I was rushing to teach in school when I was late, and Leslie Crandall passed me.
[01:56:19] And when Leslie Crandall, I wasn't paying attention to her at all.
[01:56:22] I was thinking about what I was going to teach in about three minutes.
[01:56:24] And when she passed me, I heard this voice in my spirit, like really strong.
[01:56:29] He said, pay attention to Leslie, for she's protecting something I care about.
[01:56:34] that happened to me 20 times I went to Bill and I said I have these experiences with these people I feel like they're the next generation that they should they need to run with us for several years
[01:56:46] and we need to increase our capacity for what God's called us to do and he said fine and we commissioned these people in our senior leadership team and I was thinking about numbers 11 where
[01:56:56] Moses verse 1 God says to Moses says to God God I'm exhausted I'm tired in fact I I'm done leading these people and God says no you're the leader and he says fine then I want to die Moses tells
[01:57:12] God then if you're not going to change the leadership I just want to die he said well you're not going to die I'm going to appoint 70 elders with you and they're going to lead with you
[01:57:22] and so it says in verse 16 on it says that God God told Moses gather these 70 leaders and I'm going to take the spirit that's on you and I'm going to put it on them they'll lead with you
[01:57:33] In Acts chapter 6, the early church is exploding.
[01:57:39] I mean, the first, how many know, after Peter's first preach, he becomes a megachurch pastor.
[01:57:44] 3,000 people are saved in the very first preach.
[01:57:47] And they're not just preaching to people, they're creating a community.
[01:57:51] You remember they were taking, it says they were taking their meals together.
[01:57:55] They were dedicated to the apostles' teaching, the breaking of bread and prayer.
[01:57:59] and so this is massive revival is happening massive hundreds of thousands of people probably coming and it gets so large that the the 12 apostles say we can't do this by ourselves this is crazy we can't do this and they go to the Lord and the Lord said give them this idea like okay
[01:58:19] appoint seven others to do the to take care of the daily needs of them and by the way they appoint these people that they're full of spirit, full of wisdom. And those people, Philip was one of them
[01:58:30] that we just talked about. Stephen is another one. Like these were not like little people. These were people that were, they did signs and wonders and miracles. And God says, they're going to stand with you. I'm going to increase my capacity so you don't get exhausted. I want to point out that we
[01:58:48] are transitioning from a few fathers and mothers to we need more capacity, guys. We cannot do this alone. And I feel so excited. I'd love to stay here the rest of my life and preach and do the
[01:59:05] things that I'm doing. And I think Bill and Kathy and Dan feel the same. But we have to expand our governance. We cannot do this. This movement is growing so fast. And we went through something
[01:59:19] in January that killed us. We can't do this alone. We have to have a wider, broader, deeper, and we don't need a apostle and a prophet.
[01:59:31] We need apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers that we can take this movement to the moon, that God can take this movement to the moon.
[01:59:40] And so we've asked, we've asked, we developed a team, as I told you, a senior leadership team of about 20 people to join Bill and I and Dan and Kathy.
[01:59:54] and we started organizing them and out of the senior leadership team we chose about six others that would they would be they're in the senior leadership team but they're also part of an executive team
[02:00:08] I don't know what we're calling just executive team and we appointed this last couple of weeks we appointed Richard Gordon as the leader of the executive team Richard would you stand up these people are standing with Bill and I
[02:00:31] and Kathy and Dan and they are not just servants, they are leaders who are leading you guys.
[02:00:39] And you've probably been noticing that we've been putting them up front more and more so that you guys could see them, you could understand them.
[02:00:45] When you saw Richard stand up, you already know who he is.
[02:00:51] And we've been doing that for the last three years, giving them more exposure.
[02:00:54] Steve Moore is now leading operations.
[02:00:58] They're celebrating Ruth's birthday today.
[02:01:02] And he's over all operations.
[02:01:05] Gabe and Haley are over all the church life of our church.
[02:01:10] Would you guys stand up with us to honor you?
[02:01:20] Christy Hutchins, are you in this service?
[02:01:22] Would you stand?
[02:01:22] This is Christy Hutchins.
[02:01:23] She's over all our finance.
[02:01:30] And there's many more, and we'll introduce all of them to you as they come.
[02:01:34] And at some point in the future, we have a plan to put them up front and pray over them, commission them.
[02:01:41] when Bill comes back from his now honeymoon.
[02:01:52] I'm on sabbatical, awesome.
[02:01:54] Now I'm on my honeymoon.
[02:02:01] Awesome.
[02:02:04] I was gonna say something else, but I better not.
[02:02:07] They're having a great time, by the way.
[02:02:09] We are so excited for them.
[02:02:11] They've been through so much with the loss of his wife and all the grieving.
[02:02:15] But the heart of our transition is to increase the leadership capacity of Bethel and intentionally entrust greater responsibility and authority to this team so we can move into the future. The building that we're building,
[02:02:31] we're not just constructing a building, but we're erecting, I believe that we're erecting an apostolic Pentagon, a house of prayer for the nations. It's going to be like an air traffic control center where kings come in, get anointed, get commissioned, and go back out. We're building
[02:02:46] something beautiful. I'm excited on the practical side because the biggest challenge we have in this building is our children. In fact, we've actually lost a lot of people to other churches, which I'm glad they're there. It's good. But mostly because people can't get their children in our children's
[02:03:03] ministry. And by the way, the building we're building, it's world-class, has a world-class children's wing. And we actually visited several of the best children's churches in the nation, and we took ideas from them. It's going to be amazing and beautiful. So we're very excited
[02:03:18] about it. And you probably maybe have been hearing, but we've been consolidating buildings to get ready for Collier. And by the way, I wanted to tell you this, that that building is probably going to cost us one complete, not just the building, but we have about $15 million worth of
[02:03:34] stoplights and roundabouts and things we have to put in to use that building. And that we estimate somewhere around $110 million and maybe more as, you know, as the costs change, go back and forth.
[02:03:48] but what's really exciting is we've raised over 60 million in cash. Last week, we raised another 3.1 million. We have $15 million in cash to do the shell of the building, which we're about 5
[02:04:09] million short from finishing the shell, and we just raised 3.1 million. Think about what happens when we get the shell up. I mean, people were giving money, like the first 20 million people gave us, you couldn't even see it. It was all on the ground. It was in permits. It was in
[02:04:22] environmental reports. If you've ever built anything this big, I never have. It just costs millions of dollars. And now we're building stuff you're going to see. It's going to be so beautiful. And guess what? In Little Reading, God has provided $63 million already.
[02:04:44] So we're moving towards that. We've got out of the Civic Auditorium. The Civic had some modulars that we were in. We got out of those. We had a large building in Park Marina to serve
[02:04:54] the Civic. We got out of that. We sold the Caterpillar building. We got out of that. We were in some modulars at Risen King for BCS for the high school. We got out of that. And then this
[02:05:06] year, you'll probably see the modulars here almost finished. That's going to give us capacity for our children and also capacity for our school of ministry and our high school. And then we finished the Collier office buildings. If you haven't seen those, love to take you through that. It's a
[02:05:22] beautiful building on the new Collier property. And as I just pointed out, we're just now going to start the sanctuary and we're going to do a little Twinview expansion so that we can handle some other places. The new Collier building will have 2,700 seats. And as I pointed out,
[02:05:40] the exciting part is the children's wing. I don't know if you know this, but in BSSM school ministry. Before COVID, we had 2,200 students. Now we have 2,822 students in school this year in three languages from over 70 countries all over the world. Several of them are online. Many
[02:05:59] of them are online. We started a Bethel online campus, and we have almost 20,000 people engaged in our online campus. We have 100 people serving, volunteering for that campus, and we're starting to do, classes on that campus, home groups on that campus, and we're super excited about it.
[02:06:17] We started, I don't know if you realize this, but we planted, in the last six years, we planted Austin, Bethel, Austin, Bethel, New York, and we just planted Bethel, Sydney, and we're just going to plant Bethel, Melbourne. So we're super excited about that. And so we are growing, we are excited
[02:06:35] about what's happening here. And so would you stand, and I just want to pray for you all.
[02:06:42] Gosh, that went way late.
[02:06:43] So sorry.
[02:06:46] Now the Baptists are going to be first at the restaurants.
[02:06:55] We're called to go to the moon.
[02:06:56] We have a mandate to make disciples of every nation.
[02:06:59] And I want to read you Revelation 11, 15.
[02:07:03] Then the seventh angel shouted and the second, I'm sorry, the seventh angel sounded.
[02:07:11] And there was a loud voice.
[02:07:12] Somebody shouted, saying, the kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord.
[02:07:18] and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever and ever and ever. I want to pray for you right now. Lord, I pray that you get everyone pregnant today with nations, that you get pregnant
[02:07:34] with nations, that Christ would be formed in you. God, that all of our online church, they would get pregnant with their nation, with their state, with their city. God, that we would be people, we would
[02:07:45] be entrepreneurs in the spirit that we would lay foundations that you could build in and God that you would cause the nations to be discipled by the kingdom of God and I thank you for all
[02:07:56] these people you've given us in Jesus name amen thanks for listening you guys let's give it up
[02:08:03] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_07]
[02:08:03] one more time for Chris Vallotton absolutely incredible real fast if we could get our ministry team to come forward really fast we'll have a banner up here for a start here if you have never given your life to Jesus, and today's the day that you want to find out who Jesus is
[02:08:20] and how to make him King and Lord of your life, come right over here to this banner. If you need prayer for anything, we are going to have a ministry team right up front that can pray for
[02:08:29] you. Otherwise, have a great Sunday. Enjoy the cool weather. Go and have some great food and be blessed. We'll see you next week at church. Anyways, again, if you'd like the ministry team to pray for you ministry team will have their hands up and uh we want to make sure everyone
[02:08:45] is prayed for so ministry team hands up thank you if you need prayer otherwise go pick up your
[02:08:49] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:08:49] children as kids church is ending thank you guys hello hello online church fam so many of you who are tuning in even right now such an incredible word from chris today just sharing vision for
[02:09:06] where we're going, I think not just as a house, but as the body of Christ, discipling nations.
[02:09:12] Oh, something's got to shift. Something has to change. More people need to come into the kingdom of the Lord. And even right now, we're just going to take a moment to pray. I don't know if you want
[02:09:22] to say anything, maybe even just, I felt like there was this deep desire to actually invite people in to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. And the Bible says that if you confess with your
[02:09:36] mouth that He is Lord, and if you believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead, I might've switched those. It's Romans 10, but that you would be saved. And so right now,
[02:09:45] if you don't yet know the Lord or have a relationship with Jesus, we just want to invite you into a moment to ask Him, God, would you be my Lord and Savior? Would you pray for
[02:09:56] people. I just keep wanting to call you Mama Cindy. That's just how I see you. And I want you just to love and bless our people. If that's you, you can even write in the chat, that's me.
[02:10:07] We want to guide you to pray and actually begin the relationship with the Lord. Maybe you're coming back. Maybe you are repenting and saying, I used to follow Jesus, but I haven't been for a
[02:10:17] while. And I actually want to give my life back to Him. Either way, whether it's for the first time or you're actually coming back.
[02:10:25] We just wanna take some time right now to actually pray.
[02:10:28] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[02:10:28] Yeah, actually, I just had this picture of walls coming down because it's not about trying to build our own little kingdoms or go join one down the street that's a nice kingdom I can be a part of.
[02:10:41] It's the kingdom of God.
[02:10:43] And literally, we don't want any barriers to keep us from one another because we're family and we're family.
[02:10:52] And so if you have never given your heart to Jesus before, now is the time.
[02:10:57] Today is the day to do that.
[02:10:59] Because what he did on the cross was full and complete, covering the payment for our sin.
[02:11:07] And all we have to do is recognize that, put our faith in Christ, believe in him, and we'll be saved.
[02:11:13] So if that's you, would you just pray with me?
[02:11:16] Because Lord Jesus, this gift is indescribable.
[02:11:19] This gift is astounding.
[02:11:22] And so right now, for all of those who are crying out to you for the first time, we just say, Lord, our hearts are yours.
[02:11:29] We fully and completely rest our faith and our belief in you and the power of what you did on the cross for us.
[02:11:38] That when you conquered death, we now have conquered death.
[02:11:43] So thank you, Lord, that because of what you've done, we can step into new life.
[02:11:49] Pray this in Jesus' name, amen.
[02:11:51] And as Cassie said, there are lots of resources.
[02:11:54] Please don't hesitate.
[02:11:56] Reach out, write it in the chat, and ask how you can get plugged in more and have more of the connection to the resources.
[02:12:03] That's right.
[02:12:04] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:12:04] Guys, we do a weekly email for the online church.
[02:12:07] It goes out every Saturday.
[02:12:10] Some of you are asking, I didn't know about that update.
[02:12:12] Those updates come via email.
[02:12:15] If you want to sign up for online home groups, So we're going to share more.
[02:12:18] I believe it's this Saturday.
[02:12:20] We have like the whole calendar of when things get emailed out.
[02:12:23] And so if you're thinking, how do I sign up?
[02:12:25] I don't want to miss it.
[02:12:26] You're not going to miss it.
[02:12:27] Sign up for our emails, Bethel.com slash online.
[02:12:30] You can sign up for those just so that you're in the loop.
[02:12:33] We've got equip classes, as we mentioned earlier, that started today.
[02:12:36] We've got so many ways that we want to plug you in, that we want to help you get plugged into community, ways to serve, ways to grow in your walk with the Lord.
[02:12:45] discipleship is important. It's key. We can't do this by ourselves. We're not meant to.
[02:12:52] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[02:12:52] It's so important. And I just want to throw this out there. Also, I just am feeling from the Lord that for many of you, there is someone you need to forgive. I'm feeling from the Lord that there
[02:13:07] is something, there's like weighing on your heart, this unforgiveness. And I just want to declare that there's freedom as like chains are actually broken when you release forgiveness to that person that you know about. Like, I just, I am really feeling this on the Lord because it's connected
[02:13:24] to letting our walls fall down. We want them broken. We want them gone, obliterated. We cannot have that in family. We can't. And so just, yeah, I want to release that to you as well.
[02:13:37] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:13:37] I'm going to be really practical right now. Okay. Cause sometimes I feel like, I remember when I was new to my walk with Jesus, the concept of prayer felt really interesting to me.
[02:13:47] I was like, how do I talk to God when I'm forgiving someone, when I'm asking for forgiveness?
[02:13:53] What does that look like?
[02:13:54] Can you even just model that?
[02:13:57] We've got people who've been walking with the Lord for decades and decades and decades.
[02:14:01] And some of you are maybe watching and you're thinking, is it as easy as just saying like, God, I want to forgive or God, would you forgive me for?
[02:14:09] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[02:14:09] Could you just walk us through?
[02:14:11] Yeah, sure.
[02:14:11] Forgiveness is actually a choice.
[02:14:13] It's not an emotion.
[02:14:15] Oh my goodness.
[02:14:16] It is not a feeling.
[02:14:18] Forgiveness is a choice.
[02:14:21] So in prayer, you could just say, Lord, right now I am not feeling anything, but I know that these chains need to be broken with how it, you already recognize the bondage that you're in when you don't forgive.
[02:14:36] So in prayer, just being able to say, I choose to forgive that person for, you know, whatever this situation is, but I choose to forgive and I release it to you, Jesus, period.
[02:14:47] That's it.
[02:14:48] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:14:48] So good.
[02:14:49] Isn't it so fun to like, sometimes I think we overthink it or we think, what does it need to look like?
[02:14:53] Do I need to be on my hands?
[02:14:54] It needs begging.
[02:14:55] And, and maybe it is, but it doesn't have to be that.
[02:14:59] He's made it so simple for us.
[02:15:00] He's made it easy.
[02:15:01] I think even that recognition of like, Jesus, I started walking in a way I don't want to walk in anymore. I actually need to turn Lord. And that's what repentance does. It is, it turns
[02:15:10] you away from anything that was walking away from the Lord and it turns you back to walk towards
[02:15:15] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[02:15:15] the Lord. It's beautiful. Absolutely. And just pay attention to those nudges in your spirit, because boy, I get those like just even at home in my family, if there's a word that I've spoken that was not godly, not loving immediately, I can feel this. And if I just, I can act on it
[02:15:32] immediately or I can ignore it and be, you know, pretty miserable for the next hour. But just to go ahead, it's simple, it's simple just to keep hearing his voice. So good. We'd love to pray for
[02:15:43] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:15:43] you guys. We just have a couple of minutes before we leave the Sunday service, but I saw something so cool. Nora, you're tuning in from Kenya. She said, I prayed to God and said that the first
[02:15:54] result when I type Sunday sermon will be like what she is supposed to listen to today. And we were the first result. We're so happy to have you here, Nora. We're so happy. I know that one of our
[02:16:07] faithful ones on all the time. Where is it? You're having your eighth anniversary with Bethel. Come on. I'm in my ninth. I just celebrated nine a few weeks ago, nine years of being here, which really,
[02:16:22] I didn't follow the church before I came to school of ministry. I don't know how I landed in Redding, California, but the Lord knew what he was doing. We see you guys. I see Cassandra, you're asking
[02:16:33] for prayer for your three-year-old, just even connecting with their siblings, just the behavior.
[02:16:39] God, we just cover your sweet beau. God, we just cover her baby, Lord, that you would bring even just wisdom, God, wisdom of how to parent God, and that you would bring peace to his heart, God.
[02:16:52] Any areas where it feels like aggression is coming, God, that you would come, that you would minister to his heart, God, that you would show her exactly how to parent God, that you would show her what it looks like to be a mama who may not know or have the answer in a moment, but God,
[02:17:08] that she would find comfort in you when things feel really challenging. Cindy, do you want to
[02:17:13] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[02:17:13] say anything to that? I know you've got multiple kiddos. Yeah, I just keep, I want to partner with the prayer for shalom, for peace over you, over your child. Thank you, Lord, that you calm the
[02:17:25] waves. I think for you as a mama and for all those parents who are also relating to this, I just want to say that as you step out with him, he is going to cover you with peace and your children are
[02:17:38] going to recognize his peace. It's not about the right words to say. It's just carrying his peace because that's what's going to impact their atmosphere. So good. So good. Yeah. So powerful
[02:17:51] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:17:51] Well, guys, we see different prayer requests.
[02:17:54] I'm looking at all of them, trying to find if I missed one.
[02:17:57] We also have prayer rooms.
[02:17:59] So what we're going to do is we're going to open up Zoom prayer rooms.
[02:18:02] If you want to come and be ministered to, our ministry team will be there to prophesy over you.
[02:18:07] Maybe you need a miracle in your body.
[02:18:09] You know what's really cool?
[02:18:11] After worship, when Haley closed and went after miracles, Cindy turns next to me and she said, it's in the air.
[02:18:19] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[02:18:19] What did you say?
[02:18:19] I actually heard healing is in the air.
[02:18:22] Come on.
[02:18:23] You know, and I didn't hear it in a way where it was like this, I don't know, like a sparkly thing.
[02:18:27] It was a declarative statement.
[02:18:30] Healing is in the air.
[02:18:31] Yeah.
[02:18:31] So just release that because he knows.
[02:18:34] It doesn't have to be someone coming and laying hands on you to release healing into your body because the Holy Spirit is right there with you right now.
[02:18:41] So we do just release healing into your body.
[02:18:44] And I also want to speak into your mind.
[02:18:46] Your soul is like your body, mind, and spirit, your whole person.
[02:18:51] So we release healing into those needs, the emotional needs, mental needs, and physical needs.
[02:18:56] That's right.
[02:18:57] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[02:18:57] Take some time today, guys, to test out your bodies.
[02:18:59] When healing is in the air, that means something's happening that you may not be able to see, but we're just starting to recognize, God, you're here.
[02:19:07] What are you doing?
[02:19:08] And we look for what the Lord is doing.
[02:19:10] So we bless you.
[02:19:11] We bless your bodies.
[02:19:12] We bless your minds.
[02:19:13] We bless your families.
[02:19:14] families. Guys, we love you so much. We're believing that the Lord is moving in radical ways and maybe we'll see you tonight for church. See ya. Bye.
