The Danger of a Private ‘Realm’: A Review of ‘Sunday Service’

I got notes from folks saying I'm not feeling well. I'm talking about faithful folks who love God and serve the Lord always in this, but I'm not feeling well today and I won't be there. I got mothers saying my children are not well so I won't be there. But I'm looking in this space right now and I'm declaring something and that is
[00:07:05] we say this this is a fasting house that doesn't mean you have ever fasted but because so many

[00:07:13] people in this house fast if you come here you may not fast but you're a part of a fasting people this is a place that is given 3.4 i'm always saying this because it's testimony
[00:07:28] it shouldn't happen in a congregation of 400 people but in a congregation of 400 people you've given 3.4 million dollars to israel you've ever given a penny you might not even like israel but you have a right to know that this is a people who believe in the promises of god
[00:07:57] covenantly to israel and i know there's a a degrading force in theology known as or ecclesiology known as a replacement theology that says hey God doesn't speak to Israel anymore he's not engaging that people anymore that's old covenant and old testament but now they would say
[00:08:21] he speaks exclusively to his church now if that's the case if God said to Israel I am your everlasting God yet he changed his mind that how much should you really trust him if he's talking to the church
[00:08:40] and saying you are my everlasting covenant I changed my mind this is the people this is a Jew loving Israel loving not because they've done anything for me or for you but because God

[00:10:41] moment about a profound commissioning com this is an apostolic house we sinned we said the word apostle means sin we are sending persons from this place it's a glorious thing and we're going to do
[00:10:55] that but right now you're going to release not just a happy praise but a strategic sound that is going to lose an intentionality and purpose and declare by faith you are the lord of this house your glory met us here and we brought the glory in with us so get ready one

[00:16:56] Go deep in your own thoughts, your own spirit, man.
[00:17:00] What is it that you need most specifically from heaven today?

[00:17:11] Something in your mind against torment.
[00:17:14] Something in your spirit.
[00:17:15] You're bound and you want to be free.
[00:17:18] You don't want to be tied up in knots.
[00:17:19] So something in your family that needs deliverance.
[00:17:27] Whoa, I just feel that really strong right now.
[00:17:31] I'm not talking about just love in a family.
[00:17:33] I'm not talking about just forgiveness in a family, a peace in a family.
[00:17:37] That's great.
[00:17:37] I'm talking about deliverance in a family because here's what's happened.
[00:17:43] I'm just giving it to you.
[00:17:45] Here's what's happened.
[00:17:46] As persons join you, there's two persons and then you have a baby and you have others.
[00:17:52] But but but personalities. But this is beyond personalities. The enemy is determined to sabotage your generations to to thwart the generational conversation that God intends in your marriage, through your marriage, to your child, through your child, through your grandchildren.
[00:18:13] And there is a spirit that is even a spirit of witchcraft that has spoken words of containment, spoken words to bind, to tie up in knots that familiar spirits that you may only be 16 years old, but a familiar spirit who's familiar with your family, familiar with the weaknesses of your family.
[00:18:37] so it's hitting that familiar spirit of hell is hitting you right now in a way that happened to your mother your father your grandparents your uncle your cousin somebody you may have never met before so you've never heard of their bondage but that familiar spirit knows too well
[00:18:56] the keys that will unlock the doors of your soul to gain access for your bondage

[00:19:15] are delivered the Great Commission that we know that Jesus spoke go ye into all the world according to Matthew go ye into all the world preach and teach disciple that's true but in Mark's gospel he gives the rest of it Jesus
[00:19:33] says as they're going in my name you're cast out devils your salvation includes not just deliverance from a devil in your life you have the authority and the power through the blood to cast the devil
[00:19:49] out of somebody else how many demons have you cast out in your life how many folk was sick but got healed by your prayer life how many folk were in trouble but you knew how to lay
[00:20:04] hands upon them and in the name of jesus and faith in his word they got up from a sick bed with a testimony that somebody by the name of jesus helped set them free god intends for you
[00:20:20] to participate not in the stands not watching witnesses but you are a participant in somebody's healing a participant in somebody's deliverance how by the blood of the messiah through the name the name is the authority the blood is the power we're going to sing a song that says

[00:27:40] conversation with with much of that except maybe a song or two and this is one of those songs that I felt like in this faith in February we need to speak in two hours says what is
[00:27:51] your need what is your greatest need if God gave you one chance right now and he doesn't he gives you but if he gave you one chance right now for the sake of prioritizing what is the one need you need God to me and he says I'll do it in
[00:28:06] the name of Jesus we're gonna sing this little song I wrote this simply comes from that that passage of Scripture my God shall supply so you're gonna sing it with us it's so simple but whatever it is you're needing if you have and you do if you
[00:28:21] have the faith by the word of the lord in your faith you have it in the word of the lord i want you to come forth and just say to yourself with every step i take i believe more and more

[00:42:38] YOU KNOW, THERE'S 15 TIMES WHEN JESUS WOULD BE TALKING TO SOMEBODY. HE WOULD BE TALKING TO A PERSON WHO WOULD BE TALKING TO A PEOPLE 15 TIMES AND HE WOULD END HIS COMMENTS WITH THIS ADMONITION. THIS
[00:43:05] IS WHY HE'S TELLING ME THIS MUCH. HE WHO HAS AN EAR,

[00:43:15] let him hear now you'll find it in the synoptics what that means is the first three gospels is matthew mark luke and john the synoptics of matthew mark and luke in those first three you

[00:43:32] find that phrase eight times three times in matthew three times in mark twice in luke don't find it in John at all, but he didn't get left out. Those were eight times. Then you get to the
[00:43:51] last book of your Bible, the book of the revelation of the Messiah. And there's seven times, seven

[00:44:00] times that Jesus is talking to folk. And he says, he says, he who has an ear, let him hear. This is

[00:44:09] different this time let him hear what the spirit do i got that one up in there no maybe i didn't put it in there i was wrong john wrote the book of revelation some 60 years after jesus ascended
[00:44:31] back to the bosom of the father so this is what is important this is i'm really having to matthew

[00:44:37] mark and luke have jesus talking and jesus when he's speaking to focus saying to them he who has ears now he's not talking about the auditory process he's not talking about your outer ear and inner ear uh capturing some vibration that another person's words might have
[00:44:57] listen no he's not talking about that at all he's saying there's another dimension there's another realm

[00:45:05] and if by chance the Holy Spirit is doing a work in your spirit right now so that you can't put your finger on it you couldn't really explain it to your family all you know is
[00:45:20] you're feeling something deep in your deepest space and Jesus is talking to that part he's saying those who can hear from a different place listen

[00:45:32] hear then in the last book of the bible the book of the revelation that's written by john some six decades after jesus is gone john hears jesus say it then but he says a little bit different this
[00:45:47] time he says he who has ears to hear let him hear what the spirit is saying to the churches he's talking about hearing from the realm this is where i'm going to say this a lot this morning
[00:46:06] there are persons i'll declare by faith it doesn't happen in this space today but there are persons in sanctuaries all over the nation this morning some will hear in the room they will hear the choir sing they will hear the preacher preach they will hear maybe the
[00:46:31] babies in the nursery they will hear room chatter but there are other people who've been quickened

[00:46:39] by God who are walking in a different reality who've moved beyond information of the room to revelation of the realm are we getting that across pretty good i need to be able to see what

[00:47:03] if you're now having a conversation from your throne to his throne then listen

[00:47:11] everybody say to yourself right now i choose to hear the breathing word of god nothing is more important at this moment than what god is saying to my life i push aside every imagination every thought and word every memory every promise i make a decision within myself
[00:47:35] i hear nothing but thus saith the lord for my life in jesus name amen when john heard it he had changed life had changed jesus began to reveal to john 60 years after the ascension 60 years he
[00:48:05] starts showing john more than his resurrected self john saw that more than his ascended self john saw that but this time he's seeing the seated self that jesus is seated at the right hand of the
[00:48:19] majesty on high not simply to the one church now watch this watch this everybody say the church of the lord is one the church of the lord is one the church of the lord is one but to all peoples
[00:48:34] who call upon his name they are part of the church but what jesus is saying here is he didn't say hear what the spirit is saying to the church he's talking to congregations what changed what changed
[00:48:50] the church. Jesus is the first one to use the word church in your Bible. And oddly enough, he speaks that word church in the first gospel of Matthew. Now I say oddly enough, because it's captured in Matthew, but it's a conversation that Jesus is having with Peter. And so the book
[00:49:13] of Mark, Matthew, Mark is the smallest, the first gospel written. Mark is the memoirs of Peter and because Jesus has this conversation with Peter and he uses the word church you would think that Peter would tell Mark and Mark would be the first to tell us about the word church but
[00:49:34] regardless we read that Jesus took his disciples to one of the most depraved vile spaces in all Israel, Caesarea Philippi up north at the foot of Mount Hermon. Hell seeks the high places,

[00:49:53] corporate America, academia, medicine, whatever is high and lifted up. Hell wants to own it and rule in that space. So intentionally the Messiah went there and took his disciples with him to make

[00:50:14] a point and to settle a thing. It was Mount Hermon in that specific spot of Caesarea Philippi. It was known for blatant idolatry. It was known for pagan worship, even for bestiality, having sex with goats
[00:50:30] and every other form of degradation. And it was in that place. Everybody say that place. It was in that

[00:50:37] place that Jesus was listening for somebody body to say something greater than the idolaters were claiming. A different praise. He knew what

[00:50:50] a praise would sound like in Jerusalem. It's another thing to go at the gates of hell. This is a place at Caesarea Philippi and hear praises. Think right now, think for a moment of those
[00:51:02] places in your own life where you're forced to serve or study or live that's vile when you get there vile when you're there vile when you leave it's vile and dark and degrading and the pressure

[00:51:17] against your faith to shut down your testimony is great and heavy but jesus is listening

[00:51:26] particularly there who do the people say that i am who do the people say that i am in this place i'm gonna say it again i want you to think where you work some of you go through the gates of hell
[00:51:42] just to check in every morning and you stay there and when you leave not only are you physically exhausted but spiritually you've been through a thing and you wish there was some kind of spiritual shower
[00:51:52] you could stand in just to get that decadence out your head and off your but I'm telling you

[00:51:58] the breathing word of God find you a verse keep your Bible in the car so soon as you sit in that vehicle you're able to pull it open and say wash my mind oh Lord
[00:52:10] wash my spirit oh Lord I cast off of me and out of me every lying thing contrary to the breathing word of God, the yes and amen of heaven.
[00:52:25] He's listening, not for simply what we say in this house on Brownsboro, but be you well assured, if we can't praise God here, well, you don't know my personality.

[00:52:40] If I can't praise him when I'm with my sister, with my brothers, if I can't give him glory in this realm, high in the name of all this holy, am I going to go up there and face the devil eyeball to eyeball and raise my hands and declare the supremacy?

[00:53:09] somebody go get your monday get your tuesday get your wednesday worship on some of you right now standing some of you right now clapping some of you right now worshiping god you're slapping a

[00:53:26] devil dead thursday morning who do the people say i am you've been around these folk you've heard their conversations they might have been immersed in every darkened form of degradation on this space even the place it was a cave called the gates of hell there you go baby
[00:53:59] the gates of hell and they believed that demons and spirits would hibernate in the winter and in the spring they would come back and fertilize and have give birth to and that's why at the gates of hell jesus gives this speech get jesus prophesied this word he said but peter
[00:54:19] I'm asking you now, who do the people even surrounded, some saturated by darkened spirits, when they see me and they hear me preach and they watch me work the works of God, who do they say I am?
[00:54:34] Peter says, I've been walking around spending time in various rooms.
[00:54:43] Where you work is a room.
[00:54:46] Where you study is a room.
[00:54:50] But God's called you.
[00:54:52] How do I say this?
[00:54:53] Please, Lord.
[00:54:56] And not sound uncaring.
[00:55:01] You and I have to be so discerning.
[00:55:04] I mean a hyperdrive discernment.
[00:55:06] That we don't get so caught up in room conversations.
[00:55:10] That we are oblivious to realm.
[00:55:16] Now hear me.
[00:55:17] I mean it when I say this.
[00:55:19] My heart goes out.
[00:55:20] I don't even know the woman's name.
[00:55:22] Who has this been kidnapped or whatever's happened?
[00:55:24] Who?
[00:55:24] Guthrie.
[00:55:25] The last name's Guthrie.
[00:55:26] Prior to three weeks ago, I never heard of the woman in my life.
[00:55:30] And that's not a criticism.
[00:55:31] She never heard of me.
[00:55:33] She didn't know anybody.
[00:55:34] As far as I know, she didn't know anybody here.
[00:55:37] The only, the main reason I suppose we knew her, know her, is because of a daughter that I don't have a clue who she is.
[00:55:45] supposedly she's a news anchor i don't even know what the network is the only reason her suzanne suzanna guthrie is the daughter savannah savannah we're tight i'm not criticizing her she's with a network news the only reason i i saw anything was back three or four weeks ago i think it was i
[00:56:06] heard read that she had a severe voice issue and as an announcer as a news person you have throat problems you gotta that's your that's a problem so i'm actually curious about that what did she
[00:56:17] do i think she had to have some surgery on her throat so her voice would return so she could get back to the desk and report the news it was kind of odd to me that is while we're that's
[00:56:26] amplified and we're hearing so much about her that when that situation is being dealt with all of a sudden an 80 some year old mother disappears now it has a commonality i'm 65 my mother was 80 it has a commonality in that so many baby boomers born between 46 and 64 so many
[00:56:49] of us in that born in that age we have aging parents so this story reaches to us and we think wait a minute my mama's that age and what would happen if my father was just and so it grabs us
[00:56:59] and that i got to tell you call me suspicious i don't know but i maybe i am but i just sat the other night thinking i don't really know the daughter never heard of the mother but in a 30
[00:57:10] minute news story 20 minutes was devoted to that with an embarrassing i i love cops i love law enforcement but an embarrassing situation that in two weeks we don't really know nothing or or you're not talking and the sheriff can't get along with the fbi and all this and what what's the next
[00:57:29] drama we can drop that'll keep you in the room so this was my question as i was watching and

[00:57:38] listening what's behind door number two what's going on in the spirit realm or politically or militarily internationally that they don't want me to know and they don't want me to ask no questions so they put somebody's mama on the camera and she's missing and she's got health
[00:58:02] issues and we can't find nothing but tonight's story isn't that we found her but that those who

[00:58:10] are looking can't get along okay what's the next next and see the they're moving now and the SWAT team is going and then the next night well they've released the people they were going to SWAT
[00:58:22] what I'm saying to the people in this house you ain't gonna be played again we was here in 2020 we ain't doing this again you ain't playing us again and while everybody else is chasing stuff
[00:58:39] in the room and I heard something in the room and I read on social media in the room and my cousin And, you know, he used to work with them and in the room.
[00:58:47] And before long, everything in the room is in my head.
[00:58:50] And I don't have the time or the mental space of my spirits too tied up in knots to hear what's coming from the realm.
[00:58:56] I declare by God, you are a realm people.

It was a gathering, actually a governmental moment and a community event but there's something in the ecclesia the cornea now if you come to this
[01:13:26] church long enough we're going to assign you to what we call the a link it's a group maybe five people maybe 10 15 people so we can make sure when something happens in your life and your family
[01:13:37] that your link leader hears about it and then reaches out to myself or pastor debbie so we know and we can pray about the need in your life and living link means for us living in cornea now the
[01:13:51] word cornea simply means it's a greek word that means that special holy ghost kind of fellowship you have with realmites see you work with folk and that's fine i'm not i'm not accusing them another but they can't give you cornea you can go to school and study and and be all kinds of smart

[01:35:21] may this place may be your jerusalem it may be that spot for you praise god this may not be the spot for you i have absolutely no problem when someone says to me i don't believe this is where
[01:35:32] God speaks to me I hear you please don't stop until you find it and anybody that's ever left this place and gone to another place they will tell you I never chased them I never called them
[01:35:46] or wrote to them and said you ought to come back home no no no no I pastor grown-ups and when you leave I figure you're still grown up and if you tell me God told me to leave I ain't gonna argue
[01:35:59] with god where you plant by your hand and he prospers by his hand your peculiar will be persecuted not being just the one church but when you're at that place if god said i want you on
[01:36:23] this local congregation be there serve there give there it was at the holiest place outside the garden it was at the altar that Abel brought a peculiar particular sacrifice that God had commanded and where Abel obeyed and where Abel was moved in faith it was there that the enemy
[01:36:48] killed him it's your obedience that's drawing persecution it's your faithfulness that's drawing attacks they're coming after you because you're going after him if you just find a quiet room show up once a month give god a tip every now and then they don't care ain't gonna say nothing
[01:37:17] because that's what they do but when i'm being so good a lot of churches don't even have an altar this is a nice building i like your building it's real pretty and and i like all your screens
[01:37:37] and you got all them lights.
[01:37:39] I feel like I'm at a show.

[01:37:53] If you have attended the same church for at least one year and you haven't physically gotten out of your seat and knelt somewheres in that building called an altar, you need to get out and run.

[01:38:54] persecution if you look sound like every other church it's cool we might even all get together and have a kumbaya saturday or something but when you hear from god he who has in here here's what
[01:39:09] it says to the churches on this altar well this is gonna be a problem y'all got a menorah how many Jews go to your church more than you would think you got this Jewish thing going on and then
[01:39:34] this is about as bad you you you got a Jesus hanging on the cross and he ain't on the cross no more so why do you because you forgot he was ever there and you ain't never crawled up one
[01:39:50] he said pick up your cross where were you hiding that thing and follow he might not be on the cross but he still got the scars and they ain't going nowhere when you get i gotta believe when you get

[01:40:23] light just goes through the holes in his foot and if he just wearing a robe and he pulls back and lets you see the hole in his side and if you see them them brow okay so you got him on a you got
[01:40:35] a you got a jewish thing going on here and then you got this kind of strange looking cross with gold and i don't even and then you got a shofar why y'all got a shofar you got several of them

[01:41:14] i was in first year college cult is actually a good word forget forget their idea of cult anything that has to do with the blood and the sacrificial system it's called the cult I'll leave that alone that's a whole other but look up the word cult now yeah give me some crazy
[01:41:34] people following crazy people and doing crazy things absolutely but actually the word cult c-u-l-t the the blood and and the the anguish the suffering the ripping of the flesh the propitiation for our sins all of that has to do with the cult and so you got this menorah and
[01:41:55] you got this crucifix and then you got all this other stuff up up in here and so why you got Well, see, when we look at this, we do see God's promise to Abraham, the seed of Abraham, and he created a Jewish people through whom came Jesus who died upon the cross.

It's where you should tell folk what God did this week, not what somebody else did this week. It's where you declare the miracles, the presence and the power of God
[01:44:27] that he did where you work where you serve whatever it is and then as i'm in the outer court i determine i'm gonna greet folk we got a beautiful dog out here that's a beautiful
[01:44:41] german shepherd dog out here my goodness and we're in the outer court ain't nothing wrong with the outer court that's how you get to the next but then when i open up now i'm i'm in the
[01:44:50] holy place see there's three there's the outer court the holy place and the holy of holies so I just came out to the outer court ain't nothing wrong with the outer court it's the part of the process it's a wonderful thing and that also takes place in my own being
[01:45:03] I hear things in the room I'm a roomy person for a while I hear sounds in the room but then it gets a little bit deeper it gets into the holy place so in the holy place I can I start to sense his
[01:45:14] presence and his power and and I'm I'm watch this this is where we praise praise is where I continuously declare the resume of god i testified what he's done for me out in the lobby that's why
[01:45:34] out in the outer court that's where you make a difference but when i came to the holy place now i'm declaring what he's done in his word uh i somebody just you you start you just start from
[01:45:48] the scriptures declaring his wonders and his mercies and and and and and you supply all my needs according to you i can do all things through christ and and he is able to do you are able to do
[01:45:58] exceedingly abundantly above all that i can ask watch this watch this i'm still praising praising is changing the atmosphere worship is changing me i ain't there yet i'm not worshiping when i first walk in i'm praising i was in the outer court now i'm in the holy place this is what your bible
[01:46:20] calls it there's three dimensions three literally structurally in the building there's three now when you walked in what's amazing is when you walked in this morning through the outer court through the holy when you came in here there were probably three dozen folk already standing at the
[01:46:38] holy of holies am i coming close to getting this so when i get up here on sunday mornings or thursday nights and i'm trying my best to help us get to a different space what i'm trying to do is help us
[01:46:49] snatch folk from the outer court because you can have a conversation out there that'll paralyze you from ever getting to the holy of holies you can see feel something out y'all so what i'm needing to do i'm not going to leave the outer court i'm gonna bring it with me and sanctify it
[01:47:05] at the holy of holies i i'm not going to forsake the holy place i'm gonna pick it up too and i'm gonna bring it till i get to this spot right here or wherever in this to where he can speak to my
[01:47:17] innermost being. I said, praise changes the atmosphere. Worship changes me. Worship is a different place. I'm not just praising God according to his word. Now worship is where I surrender. This is where the sacrifice is made. This is where the blood is shed. This is where I
[01:47:37] take all of me and, and pour it out on him out yonder. I testified out here. I praised him right here, I got so deep into worship that it's changed my life. Okay. Could y'all really hear me out,
[01:47:50] Chanda? Move quick. Let's see. There's other particulars. Of course, we got worship. We got a young lady that was up here dancing on the stage while I go into church. You get persecuted for that. Whatever is your peculiar is what you're going to get persecuted for. There's two
[01:48:13] admonitions I close with. One, you're not a people with itching ears. Would you just slip up your hand when I describe you. If you've been to this church for five years, would you raise your hand?
[01:48:29] If you've been to this church for 10 years, if you've been to this place, and keep them up the whole time for this, because I want folks to see something. If you've been here for 15 years,
[01:48:37] would you raise your hand? How about 20? How about 25? If you've been at this church for 30 years, all that time I asked you, if you were five, keep your five-year-old hand up. Keep your 10-year-old
[01:48:50] having a, keep your 15 year old, keep your 20 year, keep it 30 year. Keep it. So what is this saying? It's saying this ain't a church that just dropped out of heaven a year ago and we're waiting
[01:49:00] to see it. You are seated amongst settled people in God. The word is established in them. They've got a living, breathing testimony. This is not a place that jumps up and chases the next preacher
[01:49:13] down the street because their ears are itching and they're wanting to see what he might say to make them listen with some folk all you got to do is paint the bathroom in your building and that's
[01:49:23] new enough for them to go visit you they're that fickle they're that shallow but that ain't these folk that ain't these folk so so you're not a people with itching ears but your ears with your
[01:49:38] ears you hear what the spirit is saying to the church don't listen I feel sorry because this happened and it gets real when folk come in and they think they're going to change us and I love
[01:49:49] to watch you because you read them by the time they get to that you read them and you shake their hand and you love on them and the next time you see them you're just so kind and you're so good
[01:49:59] to them and they're thinking they're maneuvering their way they think they're getting rooted in your life and they're going to call some shots and then about about a month from now they're somewhere else slithering because you you were able to say we're glad you're here and we love
[01:50:15] you and we'll pray with you but but you're not changing us we're being changed back in his glory day sect number two don't neglect the realmy people for the rooms in fact book of hebrews says
