Righteous Judgment: Living for Jesus in a World of Appearances

The sermon effectively contrasts the Pharisaical approach of judging by appearances with the biblical mandate for righteous judgment. The theological core is sound, and the Gospel framework is intact. The primary area for refinement is the homiletical delivery, specifically the use of colloquial language that, while intended to be relatable, occasionally borders on informal decorum.

🔍 Biblical Discernment: The 7 Church Parallels
The Faithful Parallels Smyrna • Philadelphia
Teaching that parallels the churches that endure suffering with true spiritual riches (Rev 2:9) and keep the Word of Christ without denial despite having "little strength" (Rev 3:8).
The Cold Orthodox Parallel Ephesus
Teaching that upholds doctrinal precision yet parallels the loss of the "first love"—the vital, motivating power of the Gospel (Rev 2:4).
The Compromised Parallel Pergamum
Teaching that parallels churches tolerating the "doctrine of Balaam" through cultural accommodation (Rev 2:14), characterized by weak boundaries, sloppy theology, and worldly compromise.
The Corrupted & Dead Parallels Thyatira • Sardis • Laodicea
Teaching that parallels churches with active heresy, synergism, therapeutic deism, or dead orthodoxy (Rev 2:20, Rev 3:1, Rev 3:17). These represent systemic, fundamental errors that corrupt the Gospel.

⚙️ The Core Gospel Framework ✅ Intact

What is the Gospel Framework? This section audits whether the sermon proclaims the essential foundation of the Gospel: Christ's substitutionary sacrifice, humanity's spiritual need, and salvation by sovereign grace alone.

How this is evaluated:
  • Essential Gospel Pillars: The framework is verified intact when the sermon substantively preaches Christ's atonement, declares human inability (articulated through either Total Depravity or the Law's condemnation), and guards salvation by grace alone against works-righteousness.
  • Historic Confessional Depth: Deeper theological distinctives (such as the Active Obedience of Christ) enrich theological depth when expounded, but their absence in a focused topical or expository message is not an error and does not compromise the Gospel Framework.

🏛️ Essential Gospel Pillars

✅ The Cross & Atonement (Penal Substitution): Articulated

"And that's why he died on that cross for us, being the only truly innocent Man, he paid that price so that even though we can't keep ourselves from sin, if we keep ourselves in a relationship, a love, if you will, with Jesus, we're not condemned to sin anymore." 00:22:19 ▶️ 📄

✅ Human Inability & Need: Articulated

• Total Depravity & Human Inability:
"We were like We looked upon the Gospels as fairy tales and then we came to understand the truth and the knowledge and the full understanding of Jesus and his love and we were brought into that love." 00:02:16 ▶️ 📄
• The Law & Divine Wrath:
"Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?" 00:05:45 ▶️ 📄

✅ Sola Gratia (Salvation by Grace Alone): Verified

Salvation proclaimed as unearned divine grace; zero works-righteousness or synergistic errors detected.

📜 Historic Confessional Depth

✅ Active Obedience of Christ: Articulated

"He that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him." 00:05:32 ▶️ 📄

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]:
Now last week, Brother Jesse, he spoke on the brothers of Jesus and how they were mocking Jesus and saying, why don't you go up to the feast?
[00:00:38] No man speaks without wanting the credit for it.
[00:00:43] No one does anything without wanting the credit for it.
[00:00:46] Why don't you come to the feast and speak?
[00:00:48] And Jesus said, I'm not going to come to the feast.
[00:00:52] I'm not going to come.
[00:00:54] And it's a sadness for me.
[00:01:00] The brothers of Jesus did not believe until he had resurrected from the dead.
[00:01:11] Have you ever looked back on the old life before you knew Jesus Christ as Lord?
[00:01:20] Have you ever looked back on all the
[00:01:28] You lived your life and just wanted to kind of kick yourself in the tail because in idiocy, in complete lack of knowledge and truth, you were living for yourself.
[00:01:50] Living for a perceived dream or a perceived hope.
[00:01:55] or a perceived goal that seemed greater and more wonderful than anything in your life and then coming into the full knowledge and truth of Jesus and realizing what a ridiculous idiot you were.
[00:02:14] That's every one of us.
[00:02:16] We were like
[00:02:22] We looked upon the Gospels as fairy tales and then we came to understand the truth and the knowledge and the full understanding of Jesus and his love and we were brought into that love.
[00:02:37] And now we get to use all that idiocy to be able to approach other people.
[00:02:53] and we can teach them the truth of Jesus.
[00:02:55] So, after Jesus' brothers went up, then in a later day, Jesus came.
[00:03:08] He went up to the feast as well, but he went up in secret.
[00:03:14] He, well, throughout his ministry, he kept saying the same thing.
[00:03:21] My time has not yet come.
[00:03:25] In fact, that's what he told his brothers.
[00:03:26] My time has not yet come.
[00:03:28] But your time is always ready.
[00:03:31] Your time is always here.
[00:03:32] You always have the opportunity to move for Jesus.
[00:03:42] To move for the Almighty God.
[00:03:46] You always have the opportunity, but my time is not yet come.
[00:03:50] So Jesus finally went up in the midst.
[00:03:53] We're about to get into this.
[00:03:54] He finally went up in the midst of the feast and he began to teach.
[00:04:00] But the bulk of his teaching fell on deaf ears because they were so caught up with what Jesus was doing and with how he was doing it.
[00:04:24] We couldn't receive.
[00:04:27] We couldn't receive any message.
[00:04:29] We couldn't receive any truth.
[00:04:30] We couldn't receive any hope or any peace.
[00:04:33] And we had no joy in us.
[00:04:35] There's no joy without Jesus.
[00:04:38] But boy, when you come into the knowledge and the truth of Jesus, you have a joy within you that no one can take.
[00:04:54] Amen.
[00:04:54] Let's all stand for the reading of these verses, and then let's just jump right into this.
[00:05:04] John chapter 7, verse 14 through 24.
[00:05:07] Now about the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
[00:05:12] And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
[00:05:18] Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not mine, but yours.
[00:05:24] Any man will do his will, he shall know the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself.
[00:05:32] He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory, but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
[00:05:45] Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law?
[00:05:49] Why go ye about to kill me?
[00:05:52] The people answered and said,
[00:05:58] Jesus answered them and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
[00:06:03] Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision, not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers.
[00:06:10] And ye on the Sabbath day circumcise a man.
[00:06:14] If a man on the Sabbath day receives circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken, are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the Sabbath day?
[00:06:32] Judge, Righteous Judgement.
[00:06:36] Let's pray.
[00:06:37] Lord Jesus, thank you so much for your abundance of mercy and grace.
[00:06:40] Father God, I ask and pray, give me the words to speak and let all those who hear receive as you have freely given.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER UNKNOWN]:
In your precious name, Jesus, I ask and pray.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]:
Amen.
[00:06:56] Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
[00:07:08] I was telling Jesse earlier, that's the King James Version, the NASV 95 Version says, My rock and my redeemer.
[00:07:17] But isn't Jesus our strength and our rock?
[00:07:20] Isn't Jesus our foundation?
[00:07:23] And when we stand on a firm foundation, don't we have the strength?
[00:07:41] Defines our strength.
[00:07:45] John 7, verse 14.
[00:07:48] Now about the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
[00:07:53] If we go back and look at verse 10, this is his brothers when they're speaking.
[00:07:58] They said, But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up into the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
[00:08:05] So Jesus did go up to the feast, but he went secretly.
[00:08:10] So as to not create a stir, because everyone was looking for Jesus to come.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER UNKNOWN]:
They wanted to see more miracles.

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]:
They wanted to see if the Jews would arrest him.
[00:08:21] But he did go up.
[00:08:25] Verse 15, And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
[00:08:31] So Jesus went up in the midst, and he goes into the temple,
[00:08:40] And everyone in that place, they marveled.
[00:08:43] They admired him.
[00:08:45] They're like, how can a man that was not taught how to speak?
[00:08:54] How can a man that was not taught the truth, how can he speak so boldly?
[00:09:01] In fact, if we look in Matthew 7, verse 28 and 29,
[00:09:09] It gives a little clearer picture, Matthew.
[00:09:13] And it came to pass when Jesus had ended these things that people were astonished at his doctrine, for he taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes.
[00:09:22] So, the people were beside themselves.
[00:09:26] How can this man who was not, I mean, he was just a
[00:09:55] God spoke directly to these prophets and said, you'll say this.
[00:10:27] The people were, how can he be so bold?
[00:10:31] How can he speak with such strength, with such confidence?
[00:10:35] Because he's God, folks.
[00:10:39] He wasn't speaking it as one that heard and then repeated it.
[00:11:01] Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
[00:11:08] Now, the people that were looking upon Jesus speaking, they didn't see God in the flesh.
[00:11:18] They didn't see the Messiah.
[00:11:20] The apostles were still kind of on the fence.
[00:11:22] They weren't sure, is this the Messiah?
[00:11:25] Is this the Christ?
[00:11:27] Is this the Son of God?
[00:11:29] With every miracle, then they would fall at Jesus' feet and be like, You are the Son of God!
[00:11:35] And then the next miracle, You are the Son of God!
[00:11:37] You're right!
[00:11:38] You are!
[00:11:39] We believe!
[00:11:39] We believe!
[00:11:40] They didn't believe until he resurrected, just like the brothers.
[00:11:44] Nobody believed, truly believed that Jesus is Lord until he resurrected.
[00:11:51] So, when he spoke in verse 16, he said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
[00:12:07] He says, my doctrine is from the Father.
[00:12:15] God on the throne.
[00:12:17] My doctrine is from Him.
[00:12:21] Not from the flesh, but from Spirit.
[00:12:29] Jesus was speaking as God Himself.
[00:12:33] And they couldn't receive Him.
[00:12:35] In fact, in
[00:12:40] Verse 11 and 12, Jesus says, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen, and ye receive not our witness.
[00:12:58] Jesus is talking about him and the Father.
[00:13:04] Right there.
[00:13:05] Father and Son.
[00:13:07] Clear as day.
[00:13:09] Who are the one God?
[00:13:11] Not two gods.
[00:13:13] Not multiple gods.
[00:13:15] The one God.
[00:13:19] We speak that we do know because we are God.
[00:13:27] And yet you receive not our witness.
[00:13:31] If I have told you earthly things and you believe not, how shall you believe?
[00:13:45] How can we, how can we believe every single word that Jesus speaks if we don't believe?
[00:14:08] That's right.
[00:14:10] And those who do not believe that he is Lord, they can't believe.
[00:14:14] And so all the people there, they just could not receive within themselves the truth because they didn't believe that Jesus is in fact the Son of God, that Jesus is the only begotten, meaning he came directly from God.
[00:14:31] They couldn't receive
[00:14:38] But we can receive the words because we believe, we know, Jesus Christ is Lord, God Almighty.
[00:14:47] God came out of heaven.
[00:14:49] He entered into the body of a man.
[00:14:52] Why?
[00:14:53] Why did he enter into a weaker vessel?
[00:14:55] So that he could die for us.
[00:14:58] So that he could die for our sins.
[00:14:59] So that he could suffer.
[00:15:01] So that we don't have to.
[00:15:02] So that he could go, he could die so we don't have to.
[00:15:07] So that we can live.
[00:15:10] Because before him there was only death.
[00:15:13] But only through believing and trusting in Jesus can we receive this.
[00:15:20] And that's why they couldn't.
[00:15:22] They just couldn't receive it.
[00:15:27] Verse 17, If any man will do his will, he shall know the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself.
[00:15:39] So how do we know the doctrine of God is by serving God?
[00:15:47] Those who serve God, who wake up every day unto the Lord, who breathe every breath unto the Lord,
[00:15:56] Who work every day.
[00:15:58] They're not working so they can get up tomorrow and work again.
[00:16:02] They're not working to put food on the table.
[00:16:04] They're not working to pay their bills.
[00:16:06] They're working every day for Jesus.
[00:16:11] So, we put a roof over our head unto Jesus.
[00:16:18] We put food on the table unto Jesus.
[00:16:21] We take care of our loved ones and our friends unto Jesus.
[00:16:30] So, living for Jesus.
[00:16:41] That's how we know if a man is speaking for God.
[00:16:53] By God.
[00:16:55] Because everything is by God and for God.
[00:16:56] God's in control.
[00:16:57] God's in control of everything.
[00:16:59] Everything.
[00:17:01] That's what me and you talk about the high view of the Lord.
[00:17:04] If you have a high view of God, you realize that God is in control of every single thing.
[00:17:12] We have free will, and that free will is choose God or don't.
[00:17:18] But, Jesus says, every single person that God has given me, I will not lose.
[00:17:27] So, if you're saved by grace of the faith,
[00:17:30] You're going to be with Him in glory.
[00:17:32] But are you going to live every day for Him?
[00:17:36] Or are you going to bring back some of that darkness that He delivered you from?
[00:17:42] Are you going to attempt to put the chains back on?

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER UNKNOWN]:
Attempt.
[00:17:48] Attempt to put the chains back on.

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]:
You can't put them back on.
[00:17:53] But there are greater rewards than just those pearly gates, folks.
[00:17:59] When we enter, everyone will be judged.
[00:18:02] Paul said, we will be judged by every idle word we speak.
[00:18:08] All those who are saved by grace of faith, we won't taste the second death.
[00:18:13] Right?
[00:18:15] So, there must be greater rewards for the most devout, for the most faithful, for the most true.
[00:18:26] Man, I don't deserve any of those extra rewards.
[00:18:29] I don't even deserve to enter into the gates.
[00:18:33] It's only by the blood of Jesus that I'm worthy.
[00:18:37] It's only by the blood of Jesus that you're worthy.
[00:18:42] Verse 18, He speaketh of himself, seeketh his own glory, but he that seeketh his glory that sin him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
[00:18:56] So if we
[00:18:58] Do everything to ourselves.
[00:19:01] If we speak of ourselves, if everything that we do is through the flesh, through this world.
[00:19:15] Remember what we were told, what the Bible tells us?
[00:19:19] Don't live in the world.
[00:19:23] Don't be a child of the world.
[00:19:26] But be a child of God.
[00:19:28] So if we're a child of God, everything we say, everything that we do, just how we walk, how people perceive us, if everything that we do is for the righteousness of God, knowing that every one of us is a sinner, every one of us is going to stumble, and every one of us is going to have to repent on a daily basis.
[00:19:50] I mean, I'm repenting more than once a day for my idiocy.
[00:19:58] Jesus, then there's no unrighteousness in them.
[00:20:02] That's what's being spoken here.
[00:20:05] Though you stumble and repent, if every day you're living for the Lord, there's no unrighteousness in you.
[00:20:16] But if every day you're living for yourself, then as Jesus said, there's no cloak for yourself.
[00:20:26] It can't be hidden.
[00:20:29] But if you're living every day for Jesus, what is seen is the light of Jesus on you.
[00:20:40] We are the light of the world.
[00:20:44] Verse 19, Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law?
[00:20:48] Why go ye about to kill me?
[00:20:55] They were wanting to kill Jesus for healing a man on the Sabbath back in John chapter 5.
[00:21:04] He healed a man on the Sabbath day and they wanted to kill him because how dare you?
[00:21:10] How dare you, Jesus?
[00:21:12] Think that you're above the law?
[00:21:14] How dare you heal someone on the Sabbath day?
[00:21:18] You're worthy of death, Jesus, because you think that you're
[00:21:24] The law reveals to us our sin.
[00:21:44] That's what the law does.
[00:21:46] It shows us our sin.
[00:21:47] No one is without sin.
[00:21:56] was also God.
[00:21:58] Jesus, fully God, fully man.
[00:22:00] He's the only one that has ever born, raised, lived his life, and died without sin.
[00:22:12] He's the only one.
[00:22:14] He's the only one that kept the law.
[00:22:19] And that's why he died on that cross for us, being the only truly innocent
[00:22:33] Man, he paid that price so that even though we can't keep ourselves from sin, if we keep ourselves in a relationship, a love, if you will, with Jesus, we're not condemned to sin anymore.
[00:22:54] But the people, they just couldn't allow themselves to see the big picture
[00:23:05] If they kept the Sabbath, they weren't keeping some other form of law.
[00:23:17] I can't remember the verse, but you know it said, Are you a murderer?
[00:23:25] No, no.
[00:23:26] Had you kept yourself from adultery, but then you murdered someone.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER UNKNOWN]:
So,

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]:
Though we may be able to resist one aspect of sin, we can't resist it all.
[00:23:41] Until the people were, their eyes were closed, their minds were closed, and they couldn't receive the truth of what Jesus was saying.
[00:23:48] But now we have the opportunity.
[00:23:50] What's amazing here, everything that Jesus was saying, those people there, he's saying to me and
[00:23:57] You know, you hear all the time people breaking the fourth wall, breaking the fourth wall, breaking the fourth wall.
[00:24:02] There is no fourth wall with God.
[00:24:04] Every single word that Jesus spoke, He did it with you on His mind.
[00:24:10] With you on His mind.
[00:24:12] With you on His mind.
[00:24:14] With the full knowledge of the life that you would live until the day you came to know Him.
[00:24:38] The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil, who goeth about to kill thee?
[00:25:00] What's funny is if you drop down to John 7.25, then some of them of Jerusalem said,
[00:25:07] Is not this he whom they seek to kill?
[00:25:10] They were so caught up with the words that Jesus was saying, they could not even catch their own hypocrisy.
[00:25:26] Verse 21, Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
[00:25:31] Now, again, that one work is in John chapter 5.
[00:25:39] It was in, I believe it was called the Five Porches, around the pool of water.
[00:25:46] Yeah, the Five Porches.
[00:25:48] You had, there was a myth, if you will, that when the water stirred, an angel would come down into the water, and anyone that got into the water would be healed.
[00:25:59] Well, there was a man there that had been there a long time.
[00:26:03] And Jesus went up to him and spoke to him and said, Rise and take your bed.
[00:26:09] And he did.
[00:26:11] And it was on the Sabbath day.
[00:26:12] And not only were the Pharisees mad at him because he healed the man on the Sabbath day, but they were also mad because he told the man to pick up his bed and carry it on the Sabbath day.
[00:26:24] It was against the tradition of the elders to carry your bed on the Sabbath day.
[00:26:28] Isn't that crazy?
[00:26:36] So, Jesus said, I have done one work and ye all marvel.
[00:26:42] They were all, some in admiration, others in disgust, because how dare Jesus heal someone on the Sabbath day?
[00:26:52] How dare he do something that no one has ever done before on the Sabbath?
[00:26:59] Boy, that's against the rules there.
[00:27:01] We need to stone him.
[00:27:04] We need to kill him.
[00:27:06] Verse 22, Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision, not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers.
[00:27:14] And ye on the Sabbath day circumcise a man.
[00:27:18] Now, back in Leviticus 12.3, the original Levitical laws centered around the commandments of God, on the eighth day after a man-child was born, he would be circumcised.
[00:27:36] What Jesus is speaking of is even on the Sabbath day you will circumcise a child.
[00:27:45] Even though that technically profanes the Sabbath because it's doing a form of servile work on the Sabbath day.
[00:27:53] So Jesus is again pointing out their hypocrisy.
[00:27:57] If a man on the Sabbath day, verse 23, receives circumcision that the law of Moses should not be broken,
[00:28:06] Are ye angry at me?
[00:28:08] Because I have made a man every whit whole on the Sabbath day.
[00:28:12] So, basically, the self-righteous people.
[00:28:24] They were okay with
[00:28:26] Opening a womb on the Sabbath day.
[00:28:29] Because, I mean, circumcision, literally, you know, we know what circumcision is, I don't have to go into detail.
[00:28:35] It's literally cutting the flesh.
[00:28:37] So, the self-righteous, so-called men of God, they were okay with opening a womb on the Sabbath day.
[00:28:47] Opening a womb.
[00:28:48] If the circumcision of a child ended up on the Sabbath day, they were okay with opening a womb.
[00:28:55] But how dare Jesus heal a wound on the Sabbath day?
[00:29:00] How dare He heal, cure, close over a wound on the Sabbath day?
[00:29:08] Let's look at that in John 5, verse 8, where Jesus healed that wound.
[00:29:21] John 5, verse 8.
[00:29:32] What will the sixth of them?
[00:29:33] When Jesus saw him lie and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto them, Wilt thou be made whole?
[00:29:42] The impudent man answered him, Sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool, but while I am coming another steppeth down before me.
[00:29:52] Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
[00:30:00] And if we look at verse 9, And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked, and on the same day was the Sabbath.
[00:30:10] So, Jesus healed a man, a lame man, on the seventh day.
[00:30:16] It's okay if we circumcise a child on the Sabbath day because, you know, we have to keep the law even though that's breaking the law, but we still, it's still keeping the law, right?
[00:30:26] That's okay if we, if we circumcise a child on the eighth day, but, ooh, doggy, we better not heal anybody on the Sabbath day.
[00:30:37] Ooh, that's going to bring down the anger of God, right?
[00:30:40] That's, it sounds pretty stupid, doesn't it?
[00:30:43] That's literally what's taking place here.
[00:30:47] Jesus is trying to preach the truth.
[00:30:53] And they're all caught up with the fact that he is boldly preaching the truth.
[00:30:59] And at the same time, he's a dirty sinner because he healed a man on the Sabbath day.
[00:31:03] That's what this is about.
[00:31:06] The hypocrisy of folks.
[00:31:11] Jesus says in verse 24, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
[00:31:22] What is righteous judgment?
[00:31:25] We know that God is the only righteous judge.
[00:31:28] He's the only one that is holy.
[00:31:30] He's the only one that is good.
[00:31:33] Jesus said himself, only God is good.
[00:31:38] In Romans chapter 3 verse 10,
[00:31:42] Paul tells us, Romans chapter 3 verse 10, I saw this earlier, I didn't get a chance to mark it, Romans chapter 3 verse 10.
[00:31:58] As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.
[00:32:04] There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
[00:32:11] Before Jesus came into the world, not a single man was righteous.
[00:32:15] At this point, the Jews are worshiping the law.
[00:32:18] At this point, the Pharisees have taken power, and they're adding all of these other commandments through the tradition of the elders, and their whole focus is just staying in power.
[00:32:31] Plus, at this point, the Romans are in control.
[00:32:34] They're pushing all of their, you know, extra God nonsense.
[00:32:39] And there's literally not a single person that's righteous.
[00:32:44] And yet Jesus says, judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
[00:32:53] How can we do that?
[00:32:55] As being dirty, filthy sinners, how can we judge righteously?
[00:33:00] How is it possible?
[00:33:03] To one so undeserving, how is it possible for us to judge righteously?
[00:33:13] I mean, doesn't the Bible tell us, judge not lest ye be judged?
[00:33:18] Yeah, yeah, the Bible says judge not lest ye be judged.
[00:33:21] So how can we judge righteously?
[00:33:24] That's not what Jesus is saying.
[00:33:27] He's saying...
[00:33:29] Don't look upon things as in a physical way, but look at everything God's way.
[00:33:38] If we're serving God every day, if we're living for Him every day, if we're trying to keep His commands, which, what's the greatest commandment?
[00:33:48] Love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, all your strength, everything that you are, body, mind, spirit, love God with everything.
[00:34:00] And the second greatest commandment, Jesus added to it, it was just love thy neighbor as thyself.
[00:34:08] But then Jesus said, love one another as I have loved you, love one another.
[00:34:13] So, it kind of takes away any possible out we might have had.
[00:34:20] Well, you know, I don't really love myself, so, you know, I don't really have to love anybody else.
[00:34:25] Oh, wait a minute.
[00:34:26] Jesus said I have to love everybody like he loves me.
[00:34:31] So if we're loving, leading with love, it's that agape love.
[00:34:39] I don't know if y'all have heard of that agape love.
[00:34:43] It's the most perfect form of love.
[00:34:46] That's God's love.
[00:34:48] If we're leading every day with love, if we're living every day for the love of Jesus, then we're judgmental.
[00:35:01] We're not judging according to our desires.
[00:35:08] We're not judging according to what we think is right or wrong.
[00:35:12] We're judging according to what we know through God is right and is wrong.
[00:35:19] We're judging through what we know through God is holy.
[00:35:23] God said, I am holy, therefore you must
[00:35:33] The only way we can be holy is if we're living for Him.
[00:35:40] Psalm 7 verse 11, God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
[00:35:48] He is.
[00:35:49] He is angry with the wicked every day.
[00:35:52] He loves them, but He's angry with them.
[00:35:55] Did your daddy, when you did something that you weren't supposed to do, did he love you while he was giving you spankings?
[00:36:03] Yep.
[00:36:03] Yep, he did.
[00:36:04] Revelation 3.19, All those I love I rebuke and chasten.
[00:36:08] Be zealous therefore and repent.
[00:36:10] Be zealous for God and repent.
[00:36:14] Ask for forgiveness.
[00:36:15] Say, Lord Jesus, I'm so sorry that I'm a sinner.
[00:36:18] Please forgive me for my sin.
[00:36:20] Please, Lord Jesus, help me to live every day for you and not for my sin anymore.
[00:36:25] In Jesus' name.
[00:36:27] Amen.
[00:36:31] Judge Rack, just judge me.
[00:36:37] Jesus, in everything that he did, in every single thing that he said, he taught us how to live every day for him.
[00:36:50] And we don't need to, you know, weigh one sin against another.
[00:36:56] Every single sin not forgiven
[00:37:02] By God, through the precious blood of Jesus, sends us to hell.
[00:37:07] Every single one.
[00:37:09] There's no such thing as a white lie.
[00:37:11] There's a lie.
[00:37:13] We can sometimes call it a white lie and make ourselves feel good about it.
[00:37:16] But it's a lie.
[00:37:18] It's a sin.
[00:37:20] False witness.
[00:37:23] Every single day.
[00:37:28] Judge righteous judgment.
[00:37:35] Instead of ourselves, Jesus Christ is Lord.
[00:37:45] Either we serve Him or we serve this world.
[00:37:50] There's no gray area.
[00:37:52] There's no round defense.
[00:37:55] Either you're a servant of God or you're a servant of sin.
[00:38:01] Let's pray.
[00:38:01] Lord Jesus, thank you so much for this message.
[00:38:05] Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to stand up here and preach and teach your gospel.
[00:38:11] Thank you, Lord Jesus, for this church, for this congregation, for my brother and his family, and Lord God, I just thank you so much every day for all of you and for all of us, Lord.
[00:38:21] Please, lead us in all righteousness.
[00:38:26] Help us live for you.
[00:38:27] Help everything that we do be for you, Lord Jesus, and not of ourselves.
[00:38:33] Let it help us not to be selfish or self-absorbed or to make decisions based just on our desires or our wants, but let every decision we make, every truth that we speak, let it be God's truth through His righteous and perfect judgment.
[00:38:53] Lord Jesus, please, God, thank You for Your precious
