The Danger of Partial Obedience: Why God Demands Full Compliance

The sermon offers a passionate call to personal responsibility and obedience, effectively using analogies like baking and farming to illustrate the necessity of following God's complete will. However, the theological foundation is compromised by erroneous teachings on human nature and Christ's incarnation, and the homiletics lean heavily into moralism, failing to anchor the call to obedience in the power of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit.

🟠
Theological Status: COMPROMISED (Worldly/Sloppy) Biblical Parallel(Archetype): Pergamum
❓ What do these grades mean?
🔍 Biblical Discernment: The 7 Church Parallels
The Faithful Parallels Smyrna • Philadelphia
Teaching that parallels the churches that endure suffering with true spiritual riches (Rev 2:9) and keep the Word of Christ without denial despite having "little strength" (Rev 3:8).
The Cold Orthodox Parallel Ephesus
Teaching that upholds doctrinal precision yet parallels the loss of the "first love"—the vital, motivating power of the Gospel (Rev 2:4).
The Compromised Parallel Pergamum
Teaching that parallels churches tolerating the "doctrine of Balaam" through cultural accommodation (Rev 2:14), characterized by weak boundaries, sloppy theology, and worldly compromise.
The Corrupted & Dead Parallels Thyatira • Sardis • Laodicea
Teaching that parallels churches with active heresy, synergism, therapeutic deism, or dead orthodoxy (Rev 2:20, Rev 3:1, Rev 3:17). These represent systemic, fundamental errors that corrupt the Gospel.
Why strictly "Mark & Avoid"?
We do not issue this rating to attack the speaker, but to protect the listener. This ministry's overall teaching trend consistently deviates from sound doctrine. As per Romans 16:17, we identify these patterns so believers can guard their hearts.

🧐 Overview

Theological Verdict & Summary

Sermon Summary: Are you trying to bake a cake without the eggs? This sermon challenges the congregation to stop relying on partial obedience and spiritual immaturity, urging a return to full compliance with God's specific instructions to access His blessings.

Pastoral Analysis: The sermon offers a passionate call to personal responsibility and obedience, effectively using analogies like baking and farming to illustrate the necessity of following God's complete will. However, the theological foundation is compromised by erroneous teachings on human nature and Christ's incarnation, and the homiletics lean heavily into moralism, failing to anchor the call to obedience in the power of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit.

Biblical Parallel (Archetype): Pergamum — The sermon exhibits significant theological compromise through the introduction of erroneous anthropology and Christology, alongside a homiletical imbalance that leans heavily toward moralism. While it maintains a veneer of orthodox language, the underlying teaching tolerates a 'two-nature' framework and a biological view of Christ's sinlessness, which weakens the boundaries of sound doctrine and aligns with the Pergamum archetype of teaching that accommodates worldly or compromised theological frameworks.

Big Idea: God designed humanity for paradise and restoration, but sin and death entered through human choice; therefore, believers must fully obey God's specific instructions rather than relying on partial compliance or popular lies to access His blessings. [00:23:18 ▶️ 📄]

  • Primary Text: Deuteronomy 8:4
  • Usage Classification: Topical
  • Text-to-Talk Ratio: Low
  • Pulpit Decorum: ⚠️ CAUTION - The sermon contains instances of coarse language and pejoratives (e.g., 'jacked up', 'get out of my face') that detract from the dignity of the pulpit.

✝️ Christological Focus: Moralistic/Imitative

"Christ is presented primarily as an example of sinlessness to be imitated or a figure whose nature is explained through biological analogies, rather than as the Savior whose grace empowers obedience."

  • Human Nature and Spiritual Infancy [00:36:58 ▶️ 📄]
    > The pastor compares the selfish, demanding nature of toddlers ('mine, mine') to spiritual infants in the church who want things their way, warning that this attitude works against God's plan.
  • The Nature of Christ (Hypostatic Union) [00:38:19 ▶️ 📄]
    > Explains that Jesus was fully God and fully man because He was born of a woman (taking on human nature) but had the seed of God (divine nature), avoiding the corrupt nature inherited from Adam.
  • The Fall and Divine Protection [00:41:28 ▶️ 📄]

  • Obedience and Spiritual Principles [00:44:30 ▶️ 📄]
    > Uses analogies of baking a cake and farming to illustrate that God's commands must be followed completely; skipping steps or ignoring spiritual principles leads to a lack of blessing, just as leaving out ingredients ruins a cake.
  • Obedience and Stipulations [00:50:04 ▶️ 📄]
    > The pastor argues that spiritual blessings require following every command, using analogies of planting corn and baking a cake to illustrate that skipping steps leads to failure.
  • Biblical Examples of Obedience [00:51:30 ▶️ 📄]
    > He cites Deuteronomy 8:4 and the story of Naaman to demonstrate that partial obedience (or disobedience) prevents healing and blessing, emphasizing that God's methods must be followed exactly.
  • Paradise and Creation [00:55:36 ▶️ 📄]
    > The pastor explains that humans were created for paradise, fell due to sin, and are redeemed by Jesus to restore that original state, linking this to the concept of 'dis-ease' as the body not being at ease.

  • Sermon Illustration [00:36:49 ▶️ 📄]
    > The pastor uses the analogy of a young child (specifically a two-year-old or three-month-old baby) who demands things 'mine, mine' and wants things their way without having worked for them, to illustrate how spiritual infants in the church may work against God's plan while demanding their own way.
  • Sermon Illustration [00:36:58 ▶️ 📄]
    > The pastor uses the analogy of a toddler demanding 'mine, mine' to illustrate spiritual selfishness, and then contrasts this with the theological necessity of Jesus being born of a woman to avoid Adam's corrupt seed while retaining God's seed.
  • Sermon Illustration [00:44:39 ▶️ 📄]
    > An analogy of baking a cake: if you follow all steps but leave out the milk, eggs, or stirring, you do not get the desired result. This illustrates that partial obedience to God's commands fails to produce the intended blessing.
  • Sermon Illustration [00:46:22 ▶️ 📄]
    > An analogy of driving to a destination (Seals Creek): if you are given directions but choose to go the wrong way (south instead of north) or miss a key highway (150), you will not arrive, illustrating that ignoring God's specific instructions prevents one from reaching the spiritual destination.
  • Sermon Illustration [00:49:01 ▶️ 📄]
    > An analogy of farming corn: one must know when to plant, where to plant, water it, and harvest it at the right season; simply calling on the Lord without understanding these natural/spiritual principles results in no crop.
  • Sermon Illustration [00:50:04 ▶️ 📄]
    > The pastor uses an analogy of planting corn: knowing how to be good at gold doesn't help if you don't know how to plant corn; without planting, there is no crop.

    > He compares spiritual obedience to baking a cake: knowing Jesus and praying is not enough if you don't put the cake in the oven; skipping steps results in a mess.
  • Sermon Illustration [00:53:09 ▶️ 📄]
    > He recounts the story of Naaman the leper, who was told by the prophet Elisha to dip seven times in the Jordan River. Naaman was angry because he expected a more dramatic miracle, but he was only healed when he fully obeyed the specific instruction to dip seven times.
  • Sermon Illustration [01:04:31 ▶️ 📄]

🧭 Biblical Alignment Dashboard

Overall Verdict: Compromised / Weak

CategoryStatusReasoning
Gospel Presentation ❌ FAIL The Gospel Engine is not intact. The sermon suffers from a Homiletical Imbalance (Moralism), where behavioral commands are issued without anchoring them in the Holy Spirit's power or the Gospel's grace, effectively relying on human willpower for spiritual growth.
Soteriology ⚠️ WEAK The teaching on regeneration and the Christian life is weakened by the 'two-nature' error and a works-righteousness tendency that frames blessings as strictly conditional on human performance.
Bibliology ✅ PASS The sermon utilizes Scripture to support its points, though the hermeneutical application is flawed by the moralistic lens.
Hermeneutic ⚠️ WEAK The hermeneutic is compromised by a rigid, legalistic application of Old Testament commands to the New Covenant believer, ignoring the grace-based framework of the New Testament.
Theology Proper ⚠️ WEAK The doctrine of God is presented in a way that emphasizes His strict conditional requirements for blessing, potentially distorting the nature of His grace and covenant faithfulness.
Sacramentology ✅ PASS No sacramental errors were detected in the report.
Confessional Depth ❌ SHALLOW The sermon relies on practical analogies and behavioral exhortations but lacks deep engagement with the theological mechanisms of grace, regeneration, and Christ's atoning work.

⚙️ The Core Gospel Framework

What is this? This section checks if the sermon contains the essential building blocks of the Gospel. We look for explicit, substantive mentions of God's holy standard, human inability, and Christ's finished work on the cross.

Why it matters for the final verdict: A complete Gospel framework protects a sermon from becoming man-centered. If a preacher gives commands for good behavior but leaves out the grace and atonement of the Gospel, it often results in a 🔴 Critical or 🟠 Major error for Moralism (teaching human self-improvement rather than reliance on Christ). However, if these Gospel elements are missing simply because the pastor is preaching a highly focused, practical message to mature believers (e.g., instructions on biblical marriage), our system applies a "Safe Harbor" pardon, graciously reducing the omission to a 🟡 Minor error.

The Law And Wrath: Not observed in the sermon.

Total Depravity And Inability:

"when adam sinned that nature became dormant or inactive are y'all with me now so now i only got of sin nature come on somebody huh so now why is that but my sin nature is deceptive i don't know that i'm jacked up" [00:34:47 ▶️ 📄]

Active Obedience Of Christ: Not observed in the sermon.

The Cross And Atonement:

"And the sins of the whole world. That we might have a chance again to live in paradise. Now why did Adam chose for us in the beginning we choose ourselves now so if i go to hell i can't blame adam come on somebody huh i got nobody blamed but myself so he redeemed us for that" [00:57:42 ▶️ 📄]

⚠️ Theological Concerns

🟠 Major Erroneous Anthropology and Regeneration (Dormant Nature/Two Natures)

Root Cause: Dormant Nature Theory

"when adam sinned that nature became dormant or inactive are y'all with me now so now i only got of sin nature... but my sin nature is deceptive... god kindle or make the spiritual nature alive again but why is that now i got two natures living in me my old sin nature is still living come on somebody huh and my spiritual nature is living but they fight against one with each other" [00:34:47 ▶️ 📄]

The Belief/Behavior: The pastor teaches that Adam's sin caused a 'spiritual nature' to become dormant, leaving only a 'sin nature,' and that salvation merely reactivates this dormant nature into a two-nature conflict.

Why It's Dangerous: This framework contradicts the doctrine of total depravity and misrepresents regeneration as a reactivation of human capacity rather than a sovereign, monergistic creation of new life.

Biblical Correction: Ephesians 2:1, 5: 'And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins... Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)'

🟠 Major Erroneous Christology (Divine Seed Transmission)

Root Cause: Biological Divinity Heresy

"if he had Adam's seed he would have been came in the world just like we are jacked up I'm serious that's why he was born of a woman y'all want to talk to me brothers but he had the seed of God come on somebody so he didn't have a corrupt nature." [00:38:19 ▶️ 📄]

The Belief/Behavior: The pastor attributes Christ's sinlessness to inheriting a biological 'seed of God' rather than the Holy Spirit sanctifying Christ's human nature at conception.

Why It's Dangerous: This implies a biological transmission of divinity that conflicts with orthodox Christology and undermines the supernatural mechanism of the Virgin Birth.

Biblical Correction: Luke 1:35: 'And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.'

🟠 Major Homiletical Imbalance (Moralism)

Root Cause: Moralism

The Belief/Behavior: The pastor issues behavioral commands and relies on human responsibility and self-help without explicitly anchoring the applications to the Holy Spirit's power or the Gospel's grace.

Why It's Dangerous: This creates a moralistic framework where spiritual growth is achieved by human willpower rather than the fruit of the Spirit, leading to burnout and pride.

Biblical Correction: Ephesians 2:8-10: 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.'

🟡 Minor Conditional Blessings and Obedience (Works-Righteousness Tendency)

Root Cause: Legalism

"the promises of God that they're not automatically given they come with stipulations there are very few promises that have no condition and see that's a lie that people have bought into you're the head and not the tail they ain't read up above if you fully obey me and even in this text then you will live after what completely obey" [01:05:51 ▶️ 📄]

The Belief/Behavior: The pastor frames God's covenant promises as strictly conditional upon human full obedience, implying that believers can miss God's ordained blessings through partial disobedience.

Why It's Dangerous: This risks a works-based framework that undermines the unconditional nature of the Covenant of Grace and places the security of divine favor on human performance.

Biblical Correction: Ephesians 2:8-9: 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.'

[00:09:00] Be careful to what I am giving you today. You will live and to give your ancestors for how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these 40 humbling you and testing you and to find out if you are not you will obey his command. That's another subject for another day. The Lord is saying I now know that they can obey me. What I'm saying church is what the church got to stop doing is just going by stuff people say. You study for yourself.
[00:10:03] Preachers, sometimes we get served off other preachers.
[00:10:10] Don't study for ourselves.
[00:10:13] That's what I'm trying to say.
[00:10:14] We have to study for ourselves.
[00:10:17] Because remember what I teach.
[00:10:19] Satan comes in the church to twist the word of God.
[00:10:22] He's always using the same trickery.
[00:10:24] And he's still using it today.
[00:10:27] The direction that he wants them to go.
[00:10:34] He spends his time in the church.
[00:10:38] He's so big.
[00:10:39] He's coming here.
[00:10:41] Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry, God, and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors.
[00:11:09] He did this. Why did God do it? He did this to teach you that people do not live by bread alone. Rather, we live by, here's the point, every word that comes from the mouth of God.
[00:11:23] For all these 40 years your clothes did not wear out, your feet did not swell, did not blister or swell. Think about it. Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord disciplined you for your own good.
[00:11:41] and we just said last we did not that's why our parents disciplined us come on somebody for our own good aren't you glad now that you've grown they did it come on somebody i know they may have got it wrong sometime but sometimes maybe that
[00:12:00] was getting up on the stove they didn't know about me that way it is too all right uh mama you gonna pray or don't somebody else to pray because i need a little couple i gotta give you
[00:12:24] If you all do, we're going to do the affirmation of faith.
[00:12:28] After we finish praying, you give us another selection, you'll be ready to go, okay?
[00:12:45] Well, you pray this morning.
[00:12:46] It's okay, prayer.
[00:12:47] If you don't pray, that's not going to work.
[00:12:49] All we're going to say is sit there and rehearse.
[00:12:51] I wasn't going to sing my song this morning.
[00:12:54] I'm not going to go to practice for nothing.
[00:12:57] Y'all got it?
[00:12:58] Right now.
[00:13:00] Y'all like me to do a solo?
[00:13:04] I'm going to sing solo that you can't hear.

[00:20:01] Oh Lord, something got a hold, got a hold on what I ever really done.
[00:20:35] Pick it up a little bit, a wonderful change, plain, it made a change, Lord.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[00:23:18] The same thing, but I'm saying for the common practice, we have slipped from God, and that was the case with the prophets of old, and that's why you find all these scriptures saying okay Jeremiah, go tell the people
[00:26:39] those prophets are lying.
[00:26:41] I did not say that. That's why Jeremiah was called a weeping prophet.
[00:26:46] He caused so much hell because the popular and prevailing opinion was that these other prophets were right and Jeremiah was saying something strange. Honestly.
[00:26:57] And that's what's going on in the world today. That's why you hear the phrase we say a lot, prosperity gospel. They're lying to you. They take advantage of you. And we, and when I say
[00:27:09] we, I'm generalizing, we just buy it.
[00:27:16] And we got to be careful.
[00:27:20] That's why the Bible says, you know, by the matter of study, be sure you're self-approved.
[00:27:24] Everybody got to study. It's not how God does it. There's nothing about the Word of God that's hard or confusing.
[00:27:34] This is what he got.
[00:27:35] This is how the advanced servant comes into this most sacred moment to impart to the life of children and not to speak to it through use of the instrument and again, this Lord and this
[00:27:48] in and everything unlike you.
[00:27:50] give me with the Holy Spirit, bring me the complete function and utterance of His Spirit so that the words that come from my mouth will be those ordained by you, speak Lord, that you'll serve me in this thing
[00:28:00] and consecrate our hearts and minds so we will receive the word and apply it to all the daily lives, so you'll glorify Christ magnified, the church edified the world evangelized and Satan's already horrified this we ask in Jesus' name, amen
[00:28:14] and that thought comes from Isaiah 14 chapter We have scholars, and I do, because I'm not a scholar, but believe that that scripture is referring to Satan.
[00:28:28] And so Satan's already scared.
[00:28:29] He knows his end, but, you know, it's like some people know that if they're going to lose out, they're going to try to do as much damage as they can.
[00:28:38] All right, well, that's what all Satan can do now, just do as much damage as he can.
[00:28:42] All right?
[00:28:43] And so that's what he's coming to do.
[00:28:45] All right, but let me get out of that this morning.
[00:28:47] And so, again, I want to shout out to all of the mothers, and I really appreciate what you do, what you have done, and we pray we'll never ever take it for granted.
[00:28:57] The Word does say, brothers and sisters, honor your mother and your father.
[00:29:00] Watch this.
[00:29:01] That through days may be long upon the land of the Lord thy God giveth thee.
[00:29:05] Sometimes, y'all, listen, we cry about people that may lie, may be cut short, but sometimes they cut their own lives short.
[00:29:12] And we'll blame God for it.

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]
[00:29:14] Amen.

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[00:29:15] But God, the more I disobey and dishonor my mother and my father, I'm cutting my days shorter and shorter and shorter.
[00:29:26] Then we'll die an early life, and we'll say, why did God do that?
[00:29:31] God didn't do it.
[00:29:31] They did it themselves.
[00:29:34] You see what I'm trying to say?
[00:29:37] When I say we, people just blame God for everything.
[00:29:42] And we say God gave us the power of choice.
[00:29:45] that's why you got so much mess in the world man has chosen this path when it doesn't work all right he blamed god had him there in the beginning the woman you gave me i want somebody
[00:30:04] you know that's a simple it gives a wilderness experience i want you as a subject that you may live in paradise so let's talk about that you may have heard me say that oh that's a lot okay
[00:30:53] It's working. It's working. I mean, it's working real good.
[00:30:59] Thank you, brothers. All right. But you may have heard me say that at funerals, I tend to make a statement similar to this because of the mass and colossal confusion about sickness, death, violence, crime, whatever.
[00:31:19] i find it necessary to go back to the beginning of scripture and explain how this stuff got in the world and it's not god's doing see the church already trapped see those are the lies we've been
[00:31:36] told and we have believed it is it's hard to get it out of church people's mind huh god is not doing this because the number one thing we hang our hat on god is in charge and well tell me how does sin
[00:31:55] get in the world somebody talk to me that's a question we talked about that last week did we not how does sin and death get into the world from the very beginning that you shall not eat
[00:32:22] off the tree that sits in the middle of the garden that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for if you do you shall surely die come on am i right god say that he gave well here's the
[00:32:40] difference he gave us the power to choose action so i look for somebody to blame that's the problem right there self-responsibility it's somebody else's fault and every single thing we got the blame game going on hey i know i'm right about it i know i'm right about this man does not want to
[00:33:09] accept responsibility for his own action look for somebody to blame for it because if i accept responsibility i got to change well i don't want to change i like how i am all right so it could
[00:33:27] suck do i need to prove that again church and so but so adam chose it am i right now here go the question let me ask you a question are you right why god didn't stop adam have you ever done wrong
[00:33:43] or you knew you were doing wrong when you were doing it wrong?
[00:33:45] Come on now.
[00:33:48] Did God stop you?
[00:33:49] No.
[00:33:50] He gave us the power to choose.
[00:34:00] To choose.
[00:34:01] Responsibility for that.
[00:34:09] I chose this path.
[00:34:12] And why do we want to, well, so here's the deal.
[00:34:15] Because see, why did Adam carry the seed?
[00:34:18] No offense, sisters.
[00:34:20] So when Adam sinned, Adam's seed was corrupted.
[00:34:25] So everybody that came from the seed of Adam is automatically corrupted whether we like it or not we are corrupt but be saved so here's the deal i gotta teach you quickly so when when adam said no look at what when god created us he blew into
[00:34:47] his nostril the breath of life that means put his nature in uh the spiritual nature when adam sinned that nature became dormant or inactive are y'all with me now so now i only got of sin nature come on somebody huh so now why is that but my sin nature is deceptive i don't know
[00:35:09] that i'm jacked up i think everybody else is jacked up is that a word god kindle or make the spiritual nature alive again but why is that now i got two natures living in me my old sin nature
[00:35:44] is still living come on somebody huh and my spiritual nature is living but they fight against one with each other neither one like the other in nature want to enjoy saying what when we're admitted or not we like it because it what feels good see the church got to get real in
[00:36:18] the church well and so i can white thing if i'm only living in that's why my there's nothing good that's in my sin nature. Everything in my sin nature opposes everything that's God.
[00:36:32] That's why some of the offense, why you find some church folks sometimes opposing everything that's God. Why?
[00:36:38] Because that sin nature is living.
[00:36:40] You can still be saved.
[00:36:43] And the sin nature can still rule.
[00:36:47] Okay, let's put it like this.
[00:36:49] A child is only concerned about the child. Y'all talk back, huh? That's a general rule, huh? Children love what children love. Am I right, somebody?
[00:36:58] And they want it their way.
[00:37:00] Am I right, somebody?
[00:37:01] A little two-year-old baby, a little three-month-old baby.
[00:37:05] They'll be like, mine, mine.
[00:37:06] They ain't worked a day in their life.
[00:37:08] They'll say, mine, mine.
[00:37:09] See something shiny.
[00:37:11] Come on, y'all children.
[00:37:12] Am I right about it?
[00:37:14] They're going to like it because they want it their way.
[00:37:16] Well, I could be a spiritual infant in the church and want everything my way.
[00:37:22] So why is that?
[00:37:23] I could be working against God in the church.
[00:37:26] That's why I watch this.
[00:37:28] that's why Jesus said many are going to come in that day and say Lord Lord did we not work in your church and do all this stuff he was like get out of my face
[00:37:39] for I never knew you for you worked the works of iniquity you worked against my plan help me somebody huh now this is why this is why I've been wrestling with all week literally all week
[00:37:56] so Adam was corrupted that's why so Jesus was born of a woman go ahead if he had Adam's seed he would have been came in the world just like we are jacked up I'm serious
[00:38:19] that's why he was born of a woman y'all want to talk to me brothers but he had the seed of God come on somebody so he didn't have a corrupt nature. So this is what our
[00:38:34] church teaches. So he was very God, yes, because he was God's seed. But he took on human beings' nature in the womb of Mary.
[00:38:44] That makes him a man also. Come on somebody, huh? So he's fully God and fully man because he took on man's nature in the womb of the Virgin Mary.
[00:38:58] That is highly favored.
[00:39:01] And all people shall be blessed through her also and that's your mother they mess it you know i wrestled with another preacher about mary i didn't know i was gonna come up in the message really i didn't huh so god used a woman
[00:39:16] come on somebody oh y'all but hear me huh man couldn't do this that's not a mother they mess with y'all only one i'm really a man could not do it we would and lost forever had it been related
[00:39:33] to man.
[00:39:35] But because God used a woman, help me somebody, because the seed come from the Father so it came from the Father God.
[00:39:44] Help me somebody.
[00:39:45] Are y'all with me now, church?
[00:39:47] Are y'all with me now?
[00:39:49] Amen. Let me start my way. I don't know why y'all do that.
[00:39:51] I got to hurry up and quit now.
[00:39:53] Because I know y'all ready.
[00:39:57] I know y'all ready for your Mother's Day dinner.
[00:40:00] Now, Now, I'm going to say one more thing before I leave you up.
[00:40:05] Pastor, we've got three, one more.
[00:40:10] You know we're not going to close on the first one more.
[00:40:12] Now, I don't know how y'all been in church.
[00:40:15] That's just to build your hopes up.
[00:40:19] How many of y'all really close on one more thing or one last point?
[00:40:24] I mean, that usually don't happen.
[00:40:27] That's the only way y'all expect it, every food, every Sunday.
[00:40:31] Okay, all right.
[00:40:32] But here's the point I want to make.
[00:40:34] I didn't even bring my notes up.
[00:40:35] but you got the part about so that's why he's man and god huh are y'all with me because he also was born of a woman and he grew up just married went through the birth pain where she started
[00:40:49] vomiting and everything else like everybody else she went through the whole process and and christ was born a baby she had to nurture him she had to clean his boo-boo she had to do the all just like
[00:41:00] A regular mother does for a child.
[00:41:03] Mary had to do that for Christ.
[00:41:06] Come on, y'all talk back now.
[00:41:07] I know I'm right.
[00:41:09] All right?
[00:41:09] And then he grew up as a baby.
[00:41:12] The Bible says that child grew.
[00:41:16] All right, now let me fast forward to something else.
[00:41:19] So now this is not a change of subject.
[00:41:21] I'm trying to get to the point.
[00:41:23] So God made us for paradise.
[00:41:28] We were never to get sick.
[00:41:31] Let's see the lie of the church right there.
[00:41:33] We didn't come here to stay.
[00:41:34] where is that found in the Bible see we were born for eternity we were never to taste death see we get quiet we just showed up last Sunday in the Genesis the third chapter verses 22 through
[00:41:54] 24 that all God had to do was let us touch the tree of life or eat from the tree of life in our broken state and we would have lived forever in a broken world
[00:42:07] though we just read that last week and to keep Adam out of the garden from doing that why he did God did it for our own good he drove them out of the garden of Eden God would say I can't take a
[00:42:19] chance on them doing that so I got to drive them out and then he put a flaming sword that cut every creature away that would have killed them had to try to get back into the garden come on church
[00:42:31] yeah we just this is all this in the word and I need to understand these things because it makes me appreciate that god always got my best interest at heart come on somebody huh even when i don't
[00:42:44] think about it when even when i doesn't sing like he does he does he knows what's best for us and you're always going to do what's best for us whether i understand it or not like children
[00:42:56] they don't always know that you're doing what's in their best interest come on somebody huh they but they have to do it for your own good. Am I right? We just read our father, parents, I'm sorry
[00:43:10] that God disciplined us for our own good.
[00:43:14] Alright, so we got that, right?
[00:43:17] We were never made to die.
[00:43:19] There was never to be any sins, sickness, disease. All of that came through Adam because God gave us the power to choose.
[00:43:28] No other form of life has the power to choose but us.
[00:43:33] huh please hear me good church please hear me good now because it affect our everyday life too and the life of the church a lot of times we choose the mess we have and don't know that we're doing it amen
[00:43:51] somebody i'm just checking we go against the word now here's the clincher right here the scripture says in deuteronomy the eighth chapter to completely or fully obey the lord thy god did it not say that so god gave me this these illustrations
[00:44:07] I'm not going to say them all, I don't think, but it's so that we'll better understand why they're so important.
[00:44:12] Because, see, church people tend, again, church in general, I don't have to do all of them because I'm saying God going to just bless us anyway.
[00:44:21] And let me show you what, at least I'm going to give you a natural example.
[00:44:24] You know it's not too in the natural realm, but God meant what God said.
[00:44:30] When he said do everything like I'm telling you to do it, and you're going to see some biblical example of why that's so critical.
[00:44:36] So let's take making a cake.
[00:44:39] Everybody can relate to that, I hope.
[00:44:41] Let's suppose that I do everything but don't add the milk.
[00:44:48] Come on, y'all.
[00:44:51] Come on, talk back.
[00:44:52] Talk back.
[00:44:53] Talk back real bad.
[00:44:55] Huh?
[00:44:56] I'm doing some walking today.
[00:44:58] Come on, am I right?
[00:45:00] What happened if you leave out the milk?
[00:45:03] When I did everything that was right, but I left out the milk.
[00:45:09] Come on, y'all, just talk back.
[00:45:11] What if I leave out the eggs?
[00:45:14] Huh?
[00:45:15] What if I don't stir it?
[00:45:18] Just put it all in there and put it in the oven.
[00:45:20] Really, just don't talk back.
[00:45:25] With that, would you get the results that you are seeking?
[00:45:33] If I leave out the steps.
[00:45:36] Like what God's trying to tell the church.
[00:45:39] You leave out these steps.
[00:45:44] But church folks that do it, just pray.
[00:45:50] Call on the name of the Lord.
[00:45:51] Leave out the ads and pray.
[00:45:57] See, these are lies.
[00:45:58] the saint that told the church and the church that's born there and don't get the blessing that God has ordained for us to get because we've been lied to and didn't lie to ourselves as well
[00:46:11] I know I'm right what if you gave me direction let's say I didn't have a GPS and I've never been to Seals Creek and I don't know how to get here but when I got the appointment
[00:46:22] and y'all give me direction and you tell me to take I said on division and Huntersville take I said the seven nor and I decided to go south huh will I ever get here okay suppose I don't get on 150 let's say
[00:46:49] there's only one way to get here 150 and then Bradshaw and but I take all do all the other things you tell me right huh but I leave out some steps will I get here what we see is important here huh see i swear god mean what he's saying and we're gonna
[00:47:10] see a few biblical example now i got many illustration down here that he means everything he's telling us and moses gonna tell her listen if what god is asking y'all to do is not too
[00:47:21] difficult for you to do he said bottom line is this that uh no one has to ask who's gonna go to heaven and get god's word and bring it to us so we can obey it nobody has to ask who's gonna
[00:47:34] across the sea and go over there and get it this is Deuteronomy 30 chapter now and get it and bring it to us so that we may obey it no the word is near you
[00:47:42] is in your mouth and in your heart I've talked this many times before so when the word is spoken right there when it's read or preached doesn't matter or sung whatever that the word go directly on my
[00:47:54] heart and in my mouth so believe what God has spoken and say what God has spoken that's all I got to do because faith comes by hearing but if I leave that out come on somebody huh I never have
[00:48:12] faith and say I don't see it of course you can't see it see not hard but if I leave out those steps and then I wonder why why the church is not getting the blessing God said and then oh I'm
[00:48:34] giving up because something we count what God do for the world as spiritual blessing for being a same uh it rains on the unjust as well as the just come on somebody huh in fact sometimes they are
[00:48:48] living better than we're living at least materialistically am i right somebody y'all know i'm right huh sometimes they live much better than we live why because they understand the importance of implementing the natural principle the church don't just call on the
[00:49:01] name of the lord he's going to do it no i better listen i better learn how to farm if i want some corn I need to learn when to plant the corn I need to know where to plant
[00:49:12] the corn I need to know what I need to do after I planted it and I need to know it needs some water and also I need to know when time to gather the corn
[00:49:22] about what season if I plant it now and come back in October I'm not going to have some hard corn see God made us spiritual and natural and I must understand the spiritual principles as well as the natural
[00:49:44] the spiritual principles as well as the natural principles so we know what we need to do a lot of times in the natural realm but when it comes to the spiritual realm we're just discounting
[00:49:55] like it doesn't matter because I know the Lord I'm a good person I don't care how you be good at gold if you don't know how to plant corn amen somebody you're not going to have a crop
[00:50:04] alright now let me rush on so I can show y'all you know I think that's only one lastly so uh so here's the deal then we just said that so that i gotta know what i need to i need to
[00:50:19] know as we understand the natural things to do we must also understand the spiritual things that god told us to do in order to get the blessing like if i want a good cake amen somebody i know
[00:50:31] what i need to add in the cake i can't leave stuff out huh amen somebody just because i know jesus well I prayed about it you know I don't need to put it in the oven
[00:50:42] just put the icing on top you got a mess am I right somebody see why is it somebody tell me this is in the Christian church how does mess get in the church why is it I understand those things
[00:51:00] but when it comes to the things of God I can skip steps that's why the Bible is there warning it's not casual conversation God is saying I dare you leave this out because right there when you read
[00:51:16] the text it's only going to say then you shall get the blessing let's just read it so I can be through let's just read it Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 4 be careful to follow every
[00:51:30] command I'm giving you today what is it did I say that y'all take out your bible amen be careful to follow did it say some command every command I'm giving you today now why why why
[00:51:43] somebody tell me why thank you very much thank you what does it say right there huh y'all read it I'm going to put Jalen on y'all amen so that so that means if I don't obey every
[00:52:00] command the promise in our counsel Satan won't change you're the head and not the tail and you're the top and not the bottom I knew too preacher preaching a lie in God's church because I don't know any better because I
[00:52:37] have not studied the word of God and have a quote in that stuff and skip everything else about obedience to the Lord well let me just wrap it up I've got to finish up later on well let me just
[00:52:54] so now let's just take Naaman my favorite example one of my favorite example so what did the prophet Elisha tell him to do I didn't say this until y'all should remember this one now he had leprosy
[00:53:09] he goes to the prophet and the prophet said when the prophet didn't even come out the house he sent his preacher steward out he sent brother Jeff out and said go tell Naaman to dip himself seven times
[00:53:23] in the Jordan River come on now are y'all hearing what I'm saying so what did Naaman do get mad they're not better rivers than that nasty Jordan River are bound and powerful are they not better
[00:53:37] why am I going there now here's what I always say this is what we get for thought here's what he said I knew he was thinking here's what he said I thought for sure the prophet will come
[00:53:49] out that's why a lot of folk not healed too they missed their blessing because he was going to wave his hands over me and I bottom line I'll be healed so he had in his mind
[00:53:59] made up how God is going to do it we don't know how God is going to do it because he will worship the method huh but let me just fast forward so as they dip
[00:54:13] themselves seven times suppose naman did decided not to go to the jordan river would he would heal come on somebody huh what about you dip themselves one time come on now two times all right because he bible makes it clear he did it one two three four five six and he still had
[00:54:31] leprosy am i right come on now huh only until he dipped himself what that he had fully obeyed fully obeyed healed of his leprosy we shall man shall not live by natural bread alone but by what most words come on y'all soon y'all say amen i'm done by most words every word that
[00:55:09] comes from the mouth of God.
[00:55:11] Because the step I leave out may be the most essential step. It's not for me to judge the steps, but be obedient to the steps.
[00:55:20] Are y'all listening church? So here's what I was going to say about paradise. You were created for paradise.
[00:55:36] I want to let that simmer. God didn't make us, that's why we can't deal with pain. You weren't made to experience it.
[00:55:45] disease is called dis-ease the body is not at ease y'all missed that you'll catch it tomorrow a compound word dis-d-i-s and then e-a-s-e dis-ease the body is not at ease if I'm discouraged I don't have
[00:56:08] courage is missing I don't have courage amen somebody huh if I'm discouraged I'm lacking courage but anybody let me just fast forward so you were created for paradise so y'all say me like you really got it i'm moving on through i'm just gonna say these points i'm very serious i'm really
[00:56:28] through and like you really mean it so that's why god that what eden really meant for a paradise god put us in paradise when he created us because that's why he meant for us to live
[00:56:41] and he only drove us out to protect us from eating out the tree of life after the fall other than that we will live forever in a broken world i know i'm right about it huh and we're
[00:56:58] gonna correct me next is jesus now after we fail came to redeem us for paradise come on somebody that's why he said to the man on the cross not even when he said today he really didn't literally
[00:57:12] i know people think it really didn't mean like two days right here today the scripture means something else i'll leave that i don't have time to get into it right now you have to study for
[00:57:19] yourself. I'm very serious about it.
[00:57:21] But today, he went to heaven right there.
[00:57:23] Now he's got to be judged first. But Jesus said, today, I tell you, I'm telling you today that you shall be with me where?
[00:57:30] In paradise.
[00:57:33] The same paradise.
[00:57:35] That's why he said it.
[00:57:42] Paradise.
[00:57:43] And the sins of the whole world.
[00:57:52] That we might have a chance again to live in paradise. Now why did Adam chose for us in the beginning we choose ourselves now so if i go to hell i can't blame adam come on somebody
[00:58:12] huh i got nobody blamed but myself so he redeemed us for that are y'all doing that church and guess what and then i'm gonna close up paradise jesus is going to restore uh or restore us for paradise
[00:58:26] you're created for it he redeemed us for it and then he's going to restore us for it now why did This is why I said we shall not all sleep, but we all, but we all shall be what?
[00:58:41] Chained.
[00:58:42] How long?
[00:58:44] In the moment?
[00:58:45] On a trickle of an eye.
[00:58:47] Am I right?
[00:58:49] And we're just going.
[00:58:50] And this corruption shall put on incorruption.
[00:58:53] And this mortality shall put on immortality.
[00:58:57] Here's the point.
[00:58:58] We shall be like Christ.
[00:59:01] because you're made like that's why you hear me say so much the church got to understand who jesus is i don't know who i'm created to be first thing we're gonna say he was god very few people will
[00:59:25] say he was man also just listen to the conversations we're afraid to say it and then we're afraid to say god and my daddy yet when you pray you say our father what sense does that make make it make
[00:59:37] sense huh come on somebody our father y'all talk back quickly our what father you know what he told us jesus taught us how to pray like that am i right so here's the deal jesus is our big brother
[00:59:51] our elder brother who got responsibility for his younger siblings oh lord have mercy that's who Christ is that's why he's the first fruits from the dead showing up that we walk with God we too
[01:00:10] shall rise his resurrection is evidence that we shall rise to that's why Paul said if Christ did not rise our faith is in vain we're still dead in our sin but here's the point when I get saved
[01:00:26] you know you got to use your mind when I got saved I was then because in God's economy there's no concept of time that's a man thing to measure something all right but when I
[01:00:37] got the moment I accepted Jesus Christ I got baptized I was baptized into his grave by the way I died with Christ and when I was Roman the sixth chapter and when Christ was raised from the dead we also was raised with Christ that's why
[01:01:00] I'm already seated with the Father in Christ.
[01:01:07] Okay, I'm going to leave it alone.
[01:01:08] You're going crazy.
[01:01:11] And then, well, let me read this one here.
[01:01:16] Let's read it.
[01:01:18] I hope you see why I was so torn with this.
[01:01:27] Not torn like in not working it, but I had to wrestle with it.
[01:01:30] So let's read from Revelation 21, chapter verses 1 through 4, and then Revelation 22, chapter verses 1 through 3.
[01:01:38] So let's read this quickly.
[01:01:39] so I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there were no longer any sea this is from Revelation I saw the holy city
[01:01:51] watch this the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying look see this is what God intended from the beginning
[01:02:09] God's dwelling God's dwelling place is now among the people see that's what God that's why in the Old Testament the tabernacle was set right in the midst of the people you had three tribes to the north three to the south
[01:02:27] three to the east three to the west and the tabernacle right in the middle showing that we all have access to God and the principle always has been God has come to dwell with his people
[01:02:39] that's why he said get him out of heaven and Lord I'm with you always even to the end of the world is that not the word y'all come on is that not the word I'm not saying it both
[01:02:58] but I know the word you're not going to get me with the word I know the word that's what it says his name shall be called Emmanuel but you see how Lord know this is not Seals Creek I'm not addressing you
[01:03:21] how embedded theology can cause me to doubt the word of God although I read it I still won't believe it and buy it cause that thought is still in my mind I just can't see it
[01:03:34] that's why nobody can put you down if you lie to them to put you down you call me anything you want to call me I know who I am how many times have I said did you drop a diamond
[01:03:53] ring in the mud has it lost its value No! Oh, like I do what? Clean the mud off. God put himself inside of us. He's the breath of life. The Hebrew word rule, he put himself in us. That's why God knows
[01:04:14] what we can do. Even when they were building the tower with the Bible. Know what the Lord said? He said, let me go down and see what them jokers doing. Genesis 11 chapter. Now watch what God said. And long as there's one people speaking the same
[01:04:31] language. Them jugglers will do this. Did y'all hear that?
[01:04:37] Read it for Genesis 11. He said they'll do it. He said nothing is impossible for them. You know why God said that? Because he know he made us in his image and out of his likeness. We procreate
[01:04:46] after his order. Come on see y'all talk back church. See when we've been beaten up and the church folk beat us up and sometimes even from the pulpit and the world tell us we ain't
[01:04:56] nothing. We're about that mess.
[01:05:00] You're wonderfully and fearfully made.
[01:05:03] Let me cut this stuff off.
[01:05:04] Come on, church.
[01:05:05] Act like you're somebody.
[01:05:09] Talk like you're somebody.
[01:05:10] And live like you're somebody.
[01:05:12] Because you are somebody.
[01:05:15] My daddy owned the houses and land.
[01:05:19] My daddy owned the world.
[01:05:21] My daddy created heaven and earth.
[01:05:23] My daddy is in heaven.
[01:05:26] My daddy walks with me and talks with me.
[01:05:29] Why should I worry when my daddy has got all things?
[01:05:34] but see well I'm going to have to cut it off when I let because if I don't think I don't understand I got to pay my let me the promises of God that they're not automatically given
[01:05:51] they come with stipulations there are very few promises that have no condition and see that's a lie that people have bought into you're the head and not the tail they ain't read up above if you fully obey me and even in this text then you will live after what
[01:06:10] completely obey so what satan want the church to do he don't care what you fully disobey fully or just disobey a little he doesn't care you still ain't gonna get the blessing and that's the showstopper for most churches right there so help me god god want to heal god want to deliver
[01:06:28] but he want me to do what he tell me to do am i right somebody he want me to fully obey why so that when I fully obey everybody will know that it was God, not Eliezer.
[01:06:41] See, you would say, why this? Why the white people?
[01:06:44] You give credit to the pastor.
[01:06:46] God said, no, I am the power. I am the one that make things happen.
[01:06:52] Happy Mother's Day.
[01:06:59] I know what I'm saying to what I teach is not so popular nowadays because the church been lied to so much and that's all through scriptures there always have been prophets who tell folk what they want
[01:07:14] to hear rather than telling them what god so they can get the blessings from god amen somebody so they get the blessings from god so god want us to be blessed amen remember what we teach the
[01:07:27] church that god showcased in the world god want the world to see these are my people god want to brag about us i'm serious to the world isn't that what he did with joe have you seen my servant joe
[01:07:39] come on somebody huh joe is a man that walk up right y'all look at joe down here i see joe joe got it going on but that's what he want to do for us god want to do that for local churches
[01:07:49] do y'all see seal creek okay i want y'all to imitate some of the things that they're doing he want that said about every church uh there's healing going on in that church amen somebody that deliverance going on in that church that's what god wants
[01:08:04] that's what God wants and so he's glorified alright that's it will y'all please stop asking me to do more amen leave me alone here my wife want to eat her dinner too like y'all want to eat your dinner
[01:08:24] amen alright invitation is extended to receive Jesus Christ but I want you to go back because the Lord told me to go back and re-read about Mary afresh really because we don't have to talk much about Mary
[01:08:40] until Mother's Day. A lot of times we don't. I've not heard many sermons about Mary and the kind of woman she was.
[01:08:47] Amen, somebody?
[01:08:48] But God, Father, I highly favor that he chose her to bring the Savior into the world.
[01:08:58] Amen?
[01:08:59] That's why we say she was born of the virgin Mary.
[01:09:04] Invitation is extended.
[01:09:05] When I say invitation is extended, y'all jump straight up from now on. Don't linger.
[01:09:10] You may stand. Alright, don't waste any time. Anyone, anyone will receive Jesus as your Lord and your Savior.
[01:09:29] Or unite with this church fellowship.
[01:09:31] Or rededicate your lives. Whether you're in the sanctuary now in person or you're on social media or platform, it does not matter. Just put it in the chat or contact the church and let us know. Or someone
[01:09:46] that you know at the church.
[01:09:48] You want to give your life to Christ for the first time, rededicate your life. Or unite

[01:09:52] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:09:52] with this church fellowship come with thee oh lord before your gifts may god bless you

[01:12:42] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]

[01:14:16] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:14:16] Good morning, church. Good morning, church.

[01:14:24] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]
[01:14:24] So, I'm standing on behalf of the choir this morning.
[01:14:27] He's probably going to kill me, but we all wanted to say congratulations to Jay. He graduated on Friday.

[01:14:40] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[01:14:40] His mom was behind the camera.
[01:14:45] Okay, so

[01:14:46] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]
[01:14:46] So I'm going to give you the information.
[01:14:48] So on June the 2nd, he'll be taking his state exam, and we wanted to say congratulations to him.
[01:14:53] Good job.

[01:14:56] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:14:56] So I think I'll sing for us while you have the mic.
[01:14:58] Amen.
[01:15:00] Just a couple things.
[01:15:01] Well, one thing, one, well, two things at least.
[01:15:03] Our grandson graduated yesterday.
[01:15:05] We're so proud of him.
[01:15:07] Took a master of science in marketing.
[01:15:11] It was Friday, a beautiful graduation ceremony, and so we're very proud of his accomplishments.
[01:15:18] Amen.
[01:15:18] And so then we got back last night, you know, from actually he graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
[01:15:29] So, again, we're proud of him. But also I receive a message from this didn't say by supposed to Kim.
[01:15:37] Well, yeah. OK, so your son graduating or said that's why I'm sorry.
[01:15:47] He's graduated from high school, but accepted into McRae's College, and he'll be playing basketball.
[01:15:55] Amen.
[01:15:55] So we celebrate, amen, we celebrate the accomplishment of our young people.
[01:16:01] We're proud of what you do, amen, and we pray that you go as high as the Lord is willing to take you, amen, and that you're willing to commit yourself, you know.
[01:16:11] I ask God to give you uncommon ability to play and reach the highest height doesn't matter if Steph Curry go to, he was no big name school that he went to Davidson College right up the road there
[01:16:31] and look at what a star he became so it's what you do when you get there God can take it sometimes God wants us to have those very humble beginnings honestly so we can see his mighty hand amen i'll leave that alone but there's so many times we want
[01:16:49] to start even with preachers sometimes start with god send you i don't want to go there they ain't got enough members for me what okay something don't get me don't don't get me started don't
[01:16:59] get me started so i believe that it you all oh we did say uh yes ma'am doctor okay amen and well thank you for the graduation anymore graduation okay so i'm sure christian egg gonna have a list
[01:17:16] for us, and we'll be celebrating all of the graduates, and so we appreciate it. And those who are still in school, continue to do your work. Amen.
[01:17:24] It will pay off. Amen, somebody. Don't take it for granted.
[01:17:28] Don't squander the opportunity, especially when we go to parts of Africa.
[01:17:34] You'll be amazed sometimes with the number of children that even can't get to school.
[01:17:38] They have no schools to go to.
[01:17:40] Now, all of those are creative situations.
[01:17:42] I'll leave those alone.
[01:17:42] What I do want you all to know this. You hear me say it all the time. It's intentional to keep people in a position. Africa is the richest continent on the face of the earth by far. So it's intentional so
[01:17:58] the world can rob the continents of its resources and make themselves rich and have our people working for nothing. So you want to know the real truth? Slavery is alive and well. There's a farce when they
[01:18:14] said they now have their independence they still control the money everybody clear on that i'm telling you what i know all right i believe that's it all right uh oh yeah that's okay now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you oh sorry lord forgive me all
[01:18:36] right yes we want to recognize you i'm sorry we appreciate you so much i know some of you came with your mother we appreciate that and again mothers i hope you have a wonderful day amen now
[01:18:48] unto him who is able to keep you from falling to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy to the only wise god our savior be glory and majesty dominion and power
[01:18:58] now and forever let the saints of god say amen god bless you have a tremendous day
