[00:01:52] he he just like drops hints you know so yesterday I get up and I put my workout little shirt on I'm close I ain't got my workout pants on yet because I know we're gonna go to the gym and he comes in

[00:02:17] going to the gym and he said no no no no you're gonna clean your closet I laid in that bed and watched 9-1-1 why do I love 9-1-1 and you know what's so crazy is after you watch 9-1-1 then
[00:02:33] you start seeing those things happening and you're like I saw this on 9-1-1 so I'm laying in bed and I'm, I'm, I'm thinking my husband's going to come home and they ain't going to be nothing done.
[00:02:44] So I laid there for a second and I thought we're in a new series called pivot.
[00:02:48] And in order for me to pivot, I got to go do something in that closet.
[00:02:53] Actually, there's two closets, you know, whenever you got really nice closets, but they start leaning, like they're about to fall. You know, you've got a problem, Jack.
[00:03:02] So I walk in the closet and I'm looking, I'm going, Oh, what am I going to do with all this stuff y'all I started pulling stuff out of this closet till it was like up to here I don't even
[00:03:12] know how that closet was that full but I love to shop so I just told Angelo fix the problem let's go get a house like why are we in a condo anyway like I need a closet yes he said well if we go
[00:03:27] get a house with a closet then that closet's gonna get too small too see how a man thinks like why would you think like that just go get another house with a bigger closet but the truth
[00:03:42] is sometimes my husband I love you baby but we're not gonna get a house probably for the next five years because Angelo gonna look at all this all the numbers all the statistics I've been asking
[00:03:59] for a new car for three years we still ain't got one I don't need a new car but I want a new car right and I started thinking about well we're married choose your battles clean your closet
[00:04:11] because my husband is very very very neat and tidy he brings me a coffee home but he does this thing because he knows when he gets me a Starbucks it's like a reward you know for whatever that's
[00:04:26] my reward if I work out good I get a coffee if I so he comes home and I realize he didn't bring me no coffee so I start getting a little petty because you don't see the mound of bags I cleaned
[00:04:42] out like he should be happy that I cleaned out my closet he only got a walk in my closet well then all of a sudden I come out and I'm gonna say something so I come out the closet he's walking
[00:04:53] in with the coffee he forgot he hid it from me he hid it from me to see if I was gonna get an attitude. No, is that even right? Like, why are you going to push? Right? Why are you going to set
[00:05:07] me up? I am so happy at this point. I'm running around the house because he thought of me.
[00:05:13] It's the little things for me. You know what I'm saying? And so I bring the coffee in my closet, the clean closet. It's so pretty. I got up this morning and I was just like,
[00:05:27] it is so clean and beautiful. As soon as he walks in the closet with me, I'm excited and I swing around and my coffee goes everywhere. He says, baby, it's your reflux. You need to
[00:05:48] work on your reflux. Because whenever I go to grab something, I hit it harder. It's a reflux.
[00:05:55] all I hear is his mother come out of him oh lord Dennis the menace so I started thinking about there are seasons in our lives where we do something really good and then something else
[00:06:11] happens and it's like oh but at that moment because I was so happy about my closet I just left it there for him to clean it up and I just went about my business because at least I had
[00:06:23] something else that I was excited about and he said baby it's okay we're gonna get you a coffee you on the way to church tomorrow. I started thinking about how many times in our lives
[00:06:35] are we waiting for the right time to do something? And I decided today I'm going to title this sermon, quit waiting for a sign, quit waiting for a sign, quit putting things off. Now I want you to
[00:06:57] think about something. What have you been putting off? What in your life have you been putting aside because you've been waiting for the right moment? Because when anything great is going to happen in your life, you cannot secretly pivot. See, we want to, there's no way that I could
[00:07:21] clean my closet out without him seeing how clean it was. There's no way that I can go to another level and not expect certain people to fall off from my life. There's no way I can go buy me a
[00:07:36] new car and everybody not see it. There's no way that I can get up and sing like Chelsea and Eugene and people not be like, Oh, she and her closet praying. You can't secretly pivot, but you can
[00:07:52] secretly sin and sin is what happens when you don't pivot because when you're not pivoting you're spending all of this time trying to fill voids and the enemy will use anything that you're weak at lost your job failed that you thought you'd be so much further along than you are now
[00:08:21] and because you're not you're looking on social media and everybody's got these highlight reels up no they can just see really good rules now you have to go drink to go to sleep smoke mary jane
[00:08:38] to walk in church i just aged myself didn't i i'll take gummy bears because we've gotten to a place where we're so used to not pivoting that now we're numbing our pain extra marital affairs
[00:08:57] now your pride is so big you can't even love on your spouse anymore because resentment's built in because he didn't bring you a coffee because resentment's built in because she didn't do something you wanted her to do and so I want to talk about today I want to go to Joshua 1 2

Are you going to step out and do it? Are you going to believe
[00:13:19] for the impossible? See, some of us are so focused on what we don't have that we've become blind to what God already placed in our hands. You're so focused, hyper focused on, I'm not good enough
[00:13:35] that you're not even enjoying where God's brought you. See, my, my worry is my concern, not my worry my concern is that when God takes you to another place the enemy knows your weak spots
[00:13:51] so whatever you don't deal with whether it's people pleasing validation he will allow that to become the center so while he's blowing you up there's the little foxes that are spoiling the vine so what you thought was rejection is God removing because you're going to another level because

[00:14:47] and start doing something that is going to change your 24 hour it will in immediate in a second just changing your thoughts changing your verbiage changing your self-talk will shift you sometimes it's about finally using what you've been sitting on so you keep asking God for another
[00:15:08] door and he's like what you ain't even using what I gave you you keep thinking it's too small so God keeps pointing to the keys that's in your pocket and some of y'all have been standing at the edge
[00:15:23] of your next season with one foot in destiny and the other foot in familiarity scared to death or maybe just content man i've been fighting for so long i've been fighting i've been fighting i
[00:15:40] watched this baby sitting right here on the front road that's been wrestling with with kidneys just to get on kidney dialysis you would never even know that by looking at her because she knows she's in the plan the way for a miracle so while I'm waiting on my miracle I'm gonna realize it's
[00:15:58] not a struggle it's transition so God's working it all out and it's going to be a testimony and I refuse to lay in my bed in weakness and making people feel sorry for me instead I'm going to show
[00:16:10] up so it's how you show up so you're praying for new while secretly protecting old I'll do it when I see no you'll do it when you let go of what's familiar sometimes when you won't let go of what's
[00:16:26] familiar God will get your butt fired and then you got you got pride issues to deal with on top he's like I knew you were never gonna leave so let me get you walked out with security
[00:16:35] let me just drop you real hard because this just shows you what happens when you don't listen to God in the first place I'll never forget when I was at Belk and I thought man I told everybody
[00:16:47] in that department I was y'all I was like killing it at Estee Lauder killing it and I said y'all I got a meeting they they call her name was Kim her my my manager of the store was Kim and she
[00:17:00] said uh I would like to meet you in the morning come into my office and I was like yeah they're about to give me a whole promotion and I told everybody in the department I said y'all I'm
[00:17:09] getting a promotion on today when I come out let's go up to the Mexican restaurant have some some you know just just celebrate I walk into the office I sit down and I'm like they said girl we gotta let you go I was like what firing me terminating you I said for what
[00:17:37] they say time clock fraud I said time clock fraud yes there's been five different incidences or maybe three where you didn't check out oh so you slept you thought i slept here all night like
[00:17:56] y'all couldn't just clock me out they were like it's not up to us it's the system i go home and i'm laying on the bed i'm like because belk was all this here in fayetteville there's no malls
[00:18:12] belk glorified kmart on crack and i am devastated and i'm laying on the couch and there's nowhere else for me to go. And I remember I looked at Mimi and I was like, what am I going to do? She's like,
[00:18:25] you're going to get up. I said, I do what? She said, I'm going to give you about a couple of more hours and then you're going to need to get up because you got to figure something out,
[00:18:34] little lady. And I was like, oh, she said, but did it kill you? Because I'm really talking about all the hell I've been walking through and how nobody else in the family has to go through all
[00:18:45] I go through. And I've worked so hard my whole life and I can't get a break. But did it kill you. Within two hours, the Estee Lauder executives called. Her name was Brandy. She said, I'm just
[00:19:00] calling to check on you. I said, you can lose my number, Brandy. She said, why? I said, because I just got fired. She said, for what? I said, time clock fraud. She said, well, ain't that a good
[00:19:18] blessing on today? I said, why? She said, because I've got a position open at Estee Lauder at Bloomingdale's and I couldn't hire you there because it was conflict as long as because it's different stores. She says, so can you be there tomorrow? I would have never walked out a
[00:19:35] belt if I wouldn't have got fired. I learned how to clock out on time. I learned how to show up on time. So you want God to bless your future while you keep emotional store storage units full of
[00:19:54] expired people expired identities expired pain and expired versions of yourself you pay in every month for these expired places to hold what you're comfortable with but pivot is not just a change of direction pivot is a act of courage and when God knows there's something on your life he'll make
[00:20:23] you miserable until you do it well I wish he'd leave me alone he ain't especially not being attached to me you can leave our church tomorrow but you still gonna hear me in your sleep
[00:20:34] get up you should have never come in contact with me because I got this voice that sounds like I gargle with asphalt okay the hardest part about pivoting is not hearing God it's that's not the
[00:20:51] hardest part the hardest part is accepting that where you were you cannot stay right and some people miss their next error because they keep staying stuck on the last one listen to what i say 43 18 through 19 says this but but for get all if it ain't blessing your life forget it
[00:21:20] if it made you cry forget it but forget all those that it's nothing compared to what I am well I ain't seen him show up yet because you're still over there you're still crying over the same
[00:21:38] crap you're still stalking them on social media you know they don't like you they meant to hurt you I know how good they hurt me I was so good to them that's right you were too good to their
[00:21:52] wrong person. You cannot enter a new season with an expired identity. So if God is not changing your location, he's changing your posture. He's changing your language. He's changing your appetite. He's changing your boundaries. He's changing your confidence. He's building you up.
[00:22:18] He's changing your circle. He's taking away some employees that can't go to the next level with you. He's changing your standards. This is not a small adjustment, Teddy. This is total recalibration. So if you're not comfortable, it's because you're going to another level.
[00:22:47] How many are not comfortable right now? You're going to another level. Well, I feel like I've been going to another level forever. Yes, because you won't leave. I feel like I am just always going to another level but she ain't never left there listen to this Joshua 1 2 says Moses my
[00:23:09] servant is dead now therefore arise God starts this chapter with grief he started with grief and movement in the same sentence he says Moses is dead now get up because sometimes God will let a season die die die while you're still crying over it you keep taking you keep having a burial
[00:23:36] for something that was never good in your life in the first place and while you're building memorials around what ended God is saying get your butt up there's still land to take you've grieved for so some of you are grieving old relationships old marriages old friendships
[00:24:03] old church hurt old versions of yourself old failures old labels but your future is waiting on your movement taking flowers just go buy some fake flowers they never die and just put it have one moment where you have a whole burial for everything in your last season and never go back
[00:24:24] to it you ain't got to worry about the flowers dying they ain't never gonna go nowhere write this down stop asking God for permission to outgrow what already what he already called you out of stop waiting I'm just waiting on God no he waiting on you because God is the kind of God
[00:24:42] that is a gentleman you gotta move well how do I know if it's God you move if it don't work out you know it wasn't but what if I mess up you already are so how do I know if I hear God's
[00:24:59] voice how do I know if it's God or if it's myself you just move you move with where you feel like going and if it's God it blows up and one thing I can tell you I've moved before when it wasn't God
[00:25:10] and i meant well and he still worked that doggone thing out for my good listen what jesus 12 once says the lord had said to abram leave your native country your relatives your family father's family and go to the land that i will show you god told abram to leave before he
[00:25:28] explained where so the hardest part is we love details god loves faith we love details god loves faith we love details god loves faith and some of y'all keep asking what if it fails so what if
[00:25:46] they leave so what if I'm wrong so you got a great lesson out of it what if I outgrow everybody good but baby what if you fly because we're flying up in here do y'all hear me we are flying say I am
[00:26:05] flying I don't even know what they make what's the noise something my bird makes an eagle makes see you can't keep shrinking to keep insecure people comfortable write this down y'all y'all would stop fighting if y'all just do that. When somebody's looking at you and giving you a bad
[00:26:28] I am her. Poor Angelo. Write this down. The old version of you cannot handle the next level of you. Period. That's why you're uncomfortable. Some of y'all want next level blessings with old level discipline. Still emotionally unstable. Still crying over everything. Still walking like
[00:26:57] this still responding to every text still explaining yourself to people committed to misunderstanding you still trying to fix the lie lie baby lie still addicted to chaos but God said I need you healed enough to hold what you prayed for because if God gave some people the blessing
[00:27:24] too early they would sabotage it trying to prove they deserved it and then that's where that's where imposter syndrome comes in. I don't deserve this. I don't deserve this. I don't. Yes, you do.
[00:27:42] Yes, you do. I dropped out in eighth grade. All the more reason. Greatest testimony on the planet.
[00:27:48] Make them books. Start that company. So the next season cannot be carried by the insecure version of yourself. Y'all understand that, right? Write this down. You cannot secretly pivot.
[00:28:01] you can't become who God called you to be while hiding behind fear of uh yuns eventually your pivot becomes visible that means your language changes that means your confidence changes that means your tolerance changes that means your priorities change that means no becomes a complete
[00:28:28] sentence that means your listen tolerance changes and people start saying things like oh you've changed. You act different. You think you're better. No, baby, I got healthier. I got bolder.
[00:28:45] There's a difference. And here's what I hear the Lord saying. Y'all ready for this?
[00:28:49] As you stand up on your feet, this is the last season. You're going to beg to be chosen by people that God called you to outgrow. Some of y'all spent years trying to set at tables. God was trying to deliver you from,
[00:29:09] you kept knocking on doors heaven already locked but in this next air you won't have to force it you won't have to manipulate it and you won't have to audition for it what God ordains listen to this
[00:29:26] peace follows write this down your pivot is bigger than you you know that means it's gonna be scary it's gonna be scary because your obedience is connected to people you haven't even met yet so there are people waiting on you y'all imagine if Esther stayed insecure
[00:29:54] imagine if Peter stayed ashamed imagine if Ruth stayed bitter imagine if David cared what his brothers thought imagine if Joseph would have walked around with insecurity because he was never he wasn't thought of imagine if Paul stayed Saul so for everything listen to Ecclesiastes 3
[00:30:23] 1 for everything there's a season a time for every activity under the heaven so this means your pivot is not cosmetic did y'all hear that what does that mean PK it's here it's coming from here out

[00:31:48] a reason and i want everyone in this room to repeat this after me say i will not fear my next season God I love you more than I love myself I love you because when I gave up on me you still
[00:32:06] pivoted me I will not apologize for growing I will not shrink to make other people feel comfortable I will not carry an expired version of me I'm gonna go home and I'm gonna clean out
[00:32:24] my closet, spiritually, physically, in Jesus' name. I choose to, I choose to, I choose to pivot, I choose to move, I choose to pivot, I choose to move. Y'all hear that? I choose to pivot,

[00:01:37] like ever look and say I don't know how I got this age I honestly I decided that I was going to clean out my closet yesterday actually my husband has been mentioning it but he's so kind he's just like
[00:01:52] he he just like drops hints you know so yesterday I get up and I put my workout little shirt on I'm close I ain't got my workout pants on yet because I know we're gonna go to the gym and he comes in
[00:02:04] and kisses me so I'll be back after a while so no I'm going with you so no no no no you're gonna clean out your closet like he didn't give me a choice you know what I'm saying like dude I'm
[00:02:17] going to the gym and he said no no no no you're gonna clean your closet I laid in that bed and watched 9-1-1 why do I love 9-1-1 and you know what's so crazy is after you watch 9-1-1 then

[00:02:44] So I laid there for a second and I thought we're in a new series called pivot.
[00:02:48] And in order for me to pivot, I got to go do something in that closet.
[00:02:53] Actually, there's two closets, you know, whenever you got really nice closets, but they start leaning, like they're about to fall. You know, you've got a problem, Jack.
[00:03:02] So I walk in the closet and I'm looking, I'm going, Oh, what am I going to do with all this stuff y'all I started pulling stuff out of this closet till it was like up to here I don't even
[00:03:12] know how that closet was that full but I love to shop so I just told Angelo fix the problem let's go get a house like why are we in a condo anyway like I need a closet yes he said well if we go
[00:03:27] get a house with a closet then that closet's gonna get too small too see how a man thinks like why would you think like that just go get another house with a bigger closet but the truth
[00:03:42] is sometimes my husband I love you baby but we're not gonna get a house probably for the next five years because Angelo gonna look at all this all the numbers all the statistics I've been asking
[00:03:59] for a new car for three years we still ain't got one I don't need a new car but I want a new car right and I started thinking about well we're married choose your battles clean your closet
[00:04:11] because my husband is very very very neat and tidy he brings me a coffee home but he does this thing because he knows when he gets me a Starbucks it's like a reward you know for whatever that's
[00:04:26] my reward if I work out good I get a coffee if I so he comes home and I realize he didn't bring me no coffee so I start getting a little petty because you don't see the mound of bags I cleaned
[00:04:42] out like he should be happy that I cleaned out my closet he only got a walk in my closet well then all of a sudden I come out and I'm gonna say something so I come out the closet he's walking
[00:04:53] in with the coffee he forgot he hid it from me he hid it from me to see if I was gonna get an attitude. No, is that even right? Like, why are you going to push? Right? Why are you going to set
[00:05:07] me up? I am so happy at this point. I'm running around the house because he thought of me.
[00:05:13] It's the little things for me. You know what I'm saying? And so I bring the coffee in my closet, the clean closet. It's so pretty. I got up this morning and I was just like,
[00:05:27] it is so clean and beautiful. As soon as he walks in the closet with me, I'm excited and I swing around and my coffee goes everywhere. He says, baby, it's your reflux. You need to
[00:05:48] work on your reflux. Because whenever I go to grab something, I hit it harder. It's a reflux.
[00:05:55] all I hear is his mother come out of him oh lord Dennis the menace so I started thinking about there are seasons in our lives where we do something really good and then something else
[00:06:11] happens and it's like oh but at that moment because I was so happy about my closet I just left it there for him to clean it up and I just went about my business because at least I had
[00:06:23] something else that I was excited about and he said baby it's okay we're gonna get you a coffee you on the way to church tomorrow. I started thinking about how many times in our lives
[00:06:35] are we waiting for the right time to do something? And I decided today I'm going to title this sermon, quit waiting for a sign, quit waiting for a sign, quit putting things off. Now I want you to
[00:06:57] think about something. What have you been putting off? What in your life have you been putting aside because you've been waiting for the right moment? Because when anything great is going to happen in your life, you cannot secretly pivot. See, we want to, there's no way that I could
[00:07:21] clean my closet out without him seeing how clean it was. There's no way that I can go to another level and not expect certain people to fall off from my life. There's no way I can go buy me a
[00:07:36] new car and everybody not see it. There's no way that I can get up and sing like Chelsea and Eugene and people not be like, Oh, she and her closet praying. You can't secretly pivot, but you can
[00:07:52] secretly sin and sin is what happens when you don't pivot because when you're not pivoting you're spending all of this time trying to fill voids and the enemy will use anything that you're weak at lost your job failed that you thought you'd be so much further along than you are now
[00:08:21] and because you're not you're looking on social media and everybody's got these highlight reels up no they can just see really good rules now you have to go drink to go to sleep smoke mary jane
[00:08:38] to walk in church i just aged myself didn't i i'll take gummy bears because we've gotten to a place where we're so used to not pivoting that now we're numbing our pain extra marital affairs
[00:08:57] now your pride is so big you can't even love on your spouse anymore because resentment's built in because he didn't bring you a coffee because resentment's built in because she didn't do something you wanted her to do and so I want to talk about today I want to go to Joshua 1 2
[00:09:19] through 9 and we've been in Joshua during our devotions every single morning we're in Joshua right now and Joshua has been such a powerful powerful reading we're doing the whole bible through on my 8 a.m prayer calls and Joshua is ours for this week and I thought I'm going to
[00:09:36] found on this because this is such an incredible prophecy it says Moses my servant is dead therefore the time has come for you to lead these people the Israelites across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them I promise you
[00:09:57] what I promised Moses. Wherever you set foot, you will be on land. I have given you from the wilderness in the South to the Lebanon mountains in the North, from the Euphrates river in the East
[00:10:23] to the Mediterranean sea in the West, including all the land of the Hittites. No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not
[00:10:38] fail you or abandon you. You got to move in order to see this come to pass. Be strong and courageous for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land. I swore to their ancestors
[00:10:58] that I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you do not deviate from them turning either to the right or to the left then you will be successful in everything you do man that's that that puts a heavy
[00:11:20] expectation kind of like some of us our parents put big old big old expectations on your life and now all of a sudden you found yourself in this place of I feel like I'm disappointing
[00:11:39] he's saying you can't look at all of that you got to be careful you got to obey all the instructions Moses gave you do not deviate from them turning either to the right or to the left then you will
[00:11:52] be successful in everything say everything you do study this book of instruction continually meditate on it day and night this is why we're reading the bible through this is my command because it's his command be strong and courageous do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your
[00:12:15] God is with you wherever you go see most people say most people are praying for what they already possess so I'm over here praying for what I already have inside of me this is why it's dangerous
[00:12:33] watching people on social media that's why you got to unfollow some people that make you jealous people that make you feel like you ain't measuring up just unfollow them because if you're not careful you will go in a path God didn't lead you because it looks so good on that side most people
[00:12:56] are praying for what they already possess they're waiting on another prophecy waiting on another sign waiting on another confirmation waiting on another opportunity and God is saying what you're to do with what you already got? Are you going to step out and do it? Are you going to believe
[00:13:19] for the impossible? See, some of us are so focused on what we don't have that we've become blind to what God already placed in our hands. You're so focused, hyper focused on, I'm not good enough
[00:13:35] that you're not even enjoying where God's brought you. See, my, my worry is my concern, not my worry my concern is that when God takes you to another place the enemy knows your weak spots
