The Indescribable Gift: A Review of ‘Sunday Sermon’

The sermon correctly identifies Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament types and strongly affirms God's sovereignty in salvation. However, its nutritional value is low due to a minimal engagement with the biblical text, and the final invitation uses weak, man-centered language that contradicts the sermon's better theological points. The speaker also uses imprecise "God gave me this message" language, which should be corrected for clarity on biblical authority.

Theological Status: Theological Weakness Biblical Parallel(Archetype): Laodicea
❓ What do these grades mean?
🔍 Biblical Discernment: The 7 Church Parallels
The Faithful Parallels Smyrna • Philadelphia
Teaching that parallels the churches that endure suffering with true spiritual riches (Rev 2:9) and keep the Word of Christ without denial despite having "little strength" (Rev 3:8).
The Cold Orthodox Parallel Ephesus
Teaching that upholds doctrinal precision yet parallels the loss of the "first love"—the vital, motivating power of the Gospel (Rev 2:4).
The Formalist Parallels Sardis • Laodicea
Teaching that parallels churches relying on a reputation of being alive while being spiritually dead (Rev 3:1), or resting in lukewarm self-sufficiency, claiming to be "rich" while spiritually bankrupt (Rev 3:17).
The Compromised Parallels Pergamum • Thyatira
Teaching that parallels churches tolerating the "doctrine of Balaam" through cultural accommodation (Rev 2:14), or allowing seductive teachings that lead the flock into false gospels and immorality (Rev 2:20).
Why strictly "Mark & Avoid"?
We do not issue this rating to attack the speaker, but to protect the listener. This church's overall teaching trend consistently deviates from sound doctrine. As per Romans 16:17, we identify these patterns so believers can guard their hearts.

🧐 Overview

Sermon Summary: A passionate sermon celebrating Jesus as God's indescribable gift, encouraging listeners to praise God for His work in their lives through personal testimony and emotional exhortation.

Big Idea: God's gift of Jesus Christ is the perfect gift wrapped in glory. [00:32:17 ▶️ 📄]

Pastoral Analysis: The sermon correctly identifies Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament types and strongly affirms God's sovereignty in salvation. However, its nutritional value is low due to a minimal engagement with the biblical text, and the final invitation uses weak, man-centered language that contradicts the sermon's better theological points. The speaker also uses imprecise "God gave me this message" language, which should be corrected for clarity on biblical authority.

Biblical Parallel(Archetype): Laodicea — The sermon prioritizes emotional experience and personal testimony over deep scriptural exposition, creating a sense of spiritual richness that lacks substantive theological nourishment.

🧭 Biblical Alignment Dashboard

Overall Verdict: Theologically Weak

CategoryStatusReasoning
Soteriology ⚠️ WEAK The sermon body contains strong affirmations of God's sovereign, monergistic work in salvation ('He found you'). However, the altar call reverts to weak, decisionistic language ('I ask you to come into my life'), creating a contradiction and functionally placing the final decision in human hands.
Bibliology ⚠️ WEAK While affirming the Bible's authority, the sermon's low text-to-talk ratio (3 verses read for a ~4000-word sermon) fails to model a deep reliance on Scripture. The speaker also made a claim of direct communication ('God gave me to give to you today'), which, while likely imprecise phrasing, can undermine the sole authority of the written Word.
Hermeneutic ✅ PASS Despite the sermon's topical nature, the speaker demonstrated a sound redemptive-historical instinct, correctly identifying Old Testament persons and objects (Noah's Ark, Moses' basket) as types that find their fulfillment in Christ.
Theology Proper ✅ PASS The sermon presents God as sovereign, gracious, and the author of salvation, consistent with biblical teaching.

🧱 Sermon Outline

  • Point 1: Jesus as the Indescribable Gift [00:35:32 ▶️ 📄] : The speaker identifies Jesus as the indescribable gift from God, quoting Paul and emphasizing that words fall short in describing this gift of salvation.
  • Point 2: Jesus as Fulfillment of Prophecy [00:45:25 ▶️ 📄] : The speaker explains that Jesus was 'wrapped in prophecy,' citing Isaiah 9:6 and numerous Old Testament types (Noah's Ark, Moses' basket) that point to Christ.
  • Point 3: Salvation as Adoption on God's Timing [00:53:06 ▶️ 📄] : The message shifts to the result of the gift: adoption into God's family. It strongly emphasizes that salvation occurs according to God's sovereign timing, not human will.
  • Conclusion: Personal Testimony and Altar Call [00:55:38 ▶️ 📄] : The speaker shares a personal testimony of God's faithfulness and deliverance, leading into an invitation for listeners to pray a prayer to receive Christ.

✅ Commendations

Christ-Centered Hermeneutic | Excellent Use of Old Testament Typology

At [00:46:54 ▶️ 📄], your identification of Noah's Ark, Moses' basket, and the showbread as pointers to Jesus was an excellent example of preaching the whole Bible as a unified story that culminates in Christ. This is a vital skill that helps the congregation see Jesus in all of Scripture.

Soteriology | Clear Articulation of God's Initiative in Salvation

Your statement at [00:54:56 ▶️ 📄], 'you didn't find him he found you you weren't even looking for him he came looking for you,' is a powerful and biblically accurate summary of God's sovereign grace. This truth is the foundation of all Christian assurance and comfort.

⚠️ Theological Concerns

🟠 Contradictory Altar Call (Decisionism)

Root Cause: Decisionism / Synergism. This framework violates the doctrine of Total Depravity, reducing the work of the Spirit to a response to human initiative rather than its cause.

"if you have not asked the Lord to come into your heart just quietly say this in your heart say this prayer Lord Jesus I ask you to come into my life." [01:04:06 ▶️ 📄]

Correction: A stronger, more biblically consistent invitation would align with the truth of regeneration, such as: 'If God has opened your heart to see your sin and your need for a Savior, then call upon the name of the Lord, trusting not in your prayer, but in His promise to save all who come to Him in faith and repentance.'

🟠 Claim of Subjective Authority

Root Cause: Neo-Montanism (Mild Form). This approach risks undermining the sufficiency of the biblical canon by appealing to extra-biblical communication as the basis for the sermon's authority.

"My message that God gave me to give to you today is this God's gift perfectly wrapped in glory" [00:32:47 ▶️ 📄]

Correction: A more precise way to express this would be, 'As I've studied God's Word in Galatians, the truth that the Spirit has impressed upon me for us today is...' This grounds your authority in the text, not in a subjective experience.

🟠 Low Scriptural Saturation (Nutritional Anemia)

Root Cause: Moralistic Drift (Sardis). While not strictly moralistic, the sermon's structure drifts away from the text into personal experience, which is a common feature of preaching that has the 'form' of life but lacks the deep power found in sustained scriptural exposition.

"And it comes from Galatians 4, verses 4 and 5, and also 2 Corinthians 9, verses 15." [00:12:40 ▶️ 📄]

Correction: The power of preaching comes from the exposition of the text itself. A stronger approach would involve reading a larger portion of Scripture and allowing the structure and points of your sermon to flow directly from the structure and points of the passage, returning to it repeatedly.

[00:12:49] And I'll start with Galatians.
[00:12:52] But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
[00:13:06] 2 Corinthians 9, verse 15, Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.
[00:13:14] I have just read to you
[00:13:16] Galatians chapter 4 verses 4 through 5 and also 2nd Corinthians chapter 9 verse 15.
[00:13:24] May the Lord add a blessing to his red word.
[00:13:27] At this time we will ask brother Jeff to lead us to the throne of grace.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_00]:
Let's go to God in prayer.
[00:13:50] Lord, Lord, it's me again, asking that you come in this house, this place of worship, this house of prayer.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_01]:
Good morning again.
[00:15:34] Good morning and welcome to Seals Creek.
[00:15:36] Those who are worshiping with us in person and also in the virtual atmosphere, we hope that you felt welcome when you came into the grounds of the church.
[00:15:45] And as Brother Jeff said, we do have a woman of God that will bring forth the word this morning in the absence of our pastor.
[00:15:51] by the name of Reverend Charlotte Mactire.
[00:15:54] She comes from Moore's Chapel.
[00:15:56] And when I spoke with her on Friday, I said, well, she said, what do you need from me?
[00:15:59] I said, well, your scripture and a bio.
[00:16:02] She said, oh, no, you don't need a bio.
[00:16:03] I'm just blessed to come and give the word of God.
[00:16:06] So that tells you right there that she has a humble spirit and she's definitely going to bring forth the word.
[00:16:11] So after the choir renders two selections, the next voice you will hear will be that of Reverend Charlotte Mactire.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]:
Oh Lord, I want you to help me
[00:17:16] Oh Lord, I want you to help me Help me on my journey Help me on my way Oh Lord, I want you to help me

Lord, touch my lips.
[00:29:03] Speak through my lips, Lord!
[00:29:08] Touch my heart, set it on fire this morning!
[00:29:13] Oh Lord, I love you so much!

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
Use me to declare your truth before your people.
[00:29:29] Now, Lord,
[00:29:31] may the words of my mouth and the meditation on my heart be acceptable in your sight for Lord you are my strength and my redeemer and I bless your name in Jesus name amen
[00:29:59] Good morning Seals Creek.
[00:30:03] This is the day the Lord has made.
[00:30:08] Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
[00:30:12] I don't know what you came to do today, but I come to praise the Lord.
[00:30:19] I'm still praising Him for what He did yesterday.
[00:30:25] And the word says we should enter into his gates with what?
[00:30:33] Into his courts with what?
[00:30:36] So we should be blessing his name.
[00:30:43] Now, I want to say thank you to my adopted mother from Moore's Chapel, Ms. Shirley Holt.
[00:30:50] Thank you, Ms. Shirley, for coming to support me.
[00:30:52] Bless you.
[00:30:54] Bless you and your husband, Mr. Holt.
[00:30:57] And Ms. Shirley can tell you, I'm a fired up preacher.
[00:31:00] I love the Lord, and the Lord has done a lot for me.
[00:31:05] and no one can tell me anything else but what he's done you can't change my mind so if I get a little loud that's because I got fire up in my soul thank you
[00:31:20] And I first want to give honor to God who has given me this amazing opportunity to stand before his people.
[00:31:28] I stand before you with humility and a thankful heart.
[00:31:33] Please don't take that lightly.
[00:31:35] I am so grateful for your Pastor Meriwether for allowing me the honor to stand behind this sacred death church.
[00:31:46] I pray this morning that you are strengthened and spiritually fed by God's word that he sent for you this morning let's bless his name today I want to invite you to the attention of our scriptures Galatians chapter 4 and I think it's on the monitors correct and it reads like this I'm reading from the NIV version because that's what works for me
[00:32:17] But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
[00:32:36] 2 Corinthians 9.15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.
[00:32:47] My message that God gave me to give to you today is this God's gift perfectly wrapped in glory God's gift perfectly wrapped in glory
[00:33:06] During this Christmas season of giving, I'm told millions of dollars are spent not only on gifts but wrapping paper.
[00:33:16] I want to focus on wrapping.
[00:33:18] There are some people who just love to wrap gifts.
[00:33:23] Not only do they love receiving gifts, they love wrapping gifts.
[00:33:28] You give them a gift, they unwrap it, they look at it, and then they put it back in the box and wrap it again.
[00:33:38] I believe it's because they love wrapping the gift more than the gift.
[00:33:45] Those of us who have raised children understand this well.
[00:33:50] We spent so much money on toys only to watch our children play with the wrapping paper.
[00:33:58] They took the toy out of the box and then got in the box.
[00:34:03] Truth be told, if we could have only bought the box, we would have saved a whole lot of money.
[00:34:10] Then there are those who are into re-gifting.
[00:34:18] We receive gifts.
[00:34:21] We don't particularly care for the gift.
[00:34:24] or rather hurting the giver's feeling we pretend we love the gift and we take it and put it aside and we save it for someone's whose birthday we have forgotten or for mother's day or for father day in other words we just reach back into our christmas stash and we re-gift it to give it to someone else
[00:34:50] however statistics tells us that nearly 40% of wrapped gifts are eventually returned if you really think about it gifts are so inseparately linked to Christmas it's almost impossible to think of December 25th without thinking about giving a gift
[00:35:17] And with all the giving and all the receiving that happens during this season, it is altogether fitting for us to come up in here and give God his praise.
[00:35:32] When we reflect on God's generosity, we are reminded that God gave us the perfect gift.
[00:35:42] His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
[00:35:47] The Apostle Paul pondered on this truth in our texts.
[00:35:53] For all the Bible readers in the house tonight, we know that Paul was a brilliant man who had a broad vocabulary.
[00:36:03] And through his letters he taught correction,
[00:36:07] He inspired the early church.
[00:36:09] He even wrote over half of the New Testament and he spoke multiple languages.
[00:36:16] But yet, when Paul comes to this four-letter word, he seemed to stutter.
[00:36:26] Although Paul was brilliant, he could not find a specific language to describe God's gift.
[00:36:36] and so when Paul runs out of words trying to describe the gift he just start praising he prays because it's this undescribable gift that is beyond telling and Paul reminds us this morning and for this gift we ought to give God praise
[00:37:03] This gift, according to Paul, this gift cannot be fully narrated or recounted.
[00:37:13] Words fall short when you try to describe it.
[00:37:17] And yet, whenever we try, we should put in our hearts and give praise to God when we think about it.
[00:37:25] It's so truly unspeakable and wonderful
[00:37:32] This gift is God giving of himself.
[00:37:38] This indescribable gift is the person of Jesus Christ church.
[00:37:44] The wonder of him taking on our poverty, our sins, and our guilt so that we can receive what we can never earn on our own.
[00:37:56] that's a shout all by itself in other words we're blessed when we come in we're blessed when we're going that's why we supposed to worship him that's why we supposed to praise him that's why we declaring salvation belongs to the Lord and it came through Jesus Christ
[00:38:22] This, my brothers and sisters, is the gift perfectly wrapped in glory.
[00:38:28] Listen, any attempt to capture the gifts in words to describe it would be actually violating Paul's international silence.
[00:38:42] The story of God's gift of himself for our salvation cannot be fully told.
[00:38:52] my brothers and sisters this gift this unspeakable gift it's so wonderful it's beyond words that i can even speak of this morning but guess what he wants us to tell it over and over and over he wants you to say it again and again
[00:39:15] it can never be exhausted it can never be defined and it can never be described but it should forever remain fresh in our minds fresh in our thanksgiving fresh in our songs fresh in our praises God's gift is perfectly wrapped in glory do you understand
[00:39:44] every good gift every perfect gift comes from above from our savior who is the light of the world all god's gifts are good but there is this one gift who suppresses all the other gifts so much that paul called it indescribable the gift my brothers and sisters the gift
[00:40:14] think about it this way we was once lost but none but Christ found us we were dead and none but Christ could raise us we were sunk in sin and none but Christ could recover us we was drifting drifting two and four and none but Christ could bring us in we were guilty
[00:40:43] and none but Christ could secure your pardon.
[00:40:50] Church, all praise and glory go to our God.
[00:40:57] I will never forget what God has done for me.
[00:41:01] I will never forget where God has bought me from.
[00:41:05] because this is the thing about gifts gift may be expensive given in great generosity but it still won't meet your deepest need many gifts are changed this year that people have already perhaps didn't even need it but this particular gift this perfect wrapped gift that God sent is eternal
[00:41:32] and it meets the greatest needs of all of us salvation forgiveness love and that's what it means he is a king of kings and lord of all he's wonderful you can't explain salvation you just gotta praise your way through you gotta know you're saved and sanctified you gotta notice
[00:42:02] If we needed knowledge, he would have sent a philosopher.
[00:42:08] If we needed wealth, he would have sent a banker.
[00:42:13] If we needed healing, he would have sent a doctor.
[00:42:16] But since we needed salvation, he sent a savior.
[00:42:21] And not just any savior, he sent himself.
[00:42:28] you just gotta know he's your bright morning star the lily of the valley you gotta know who you are and who you belongs to he's the prince of peace he's the when you walk up in here you got so much on your mind if your mind stay on God oh my brothers and sisters
[00:42:55] May we never forget that he was born in Bethlehem.
[00:43:01] He was wrapped in swaddling clothes.
[00:43:06] Don't let the details escape from your eyes.
[00:43:11] When you think of Christmas and the Christmas story, it was humility, divinity,
[00:43:22] He was born in Bethlehem and Judea.
[00:43:27] Born in a house of bread.
[00:43:30] Wrapped in swaddling clothes.
[00:43:33] Don't you miss this?
[00:43:35] He is the bread of life.
[00:43:38] Born in Bethlehem in the house of bread wrapped in swaddling clothes the bread of life Jesus of life wrapped in swaddling clothes put in a trough so we can feed on him can you see him you got to recognize
[00:44:04] that he was bread born into bread wrapped and put in a trough bread of heaven bread of heaven feed us right now every time i look at that bethlehem story and and the baby i see bread i see him wrapped
[00:44:28] and here and I go away feeling satisfied I go away feeling like he he all the confusion around me he's taking away he gives me to pray the peace that I need anybody hungry this morning feed me anybody satisfied this morning are you thankful this morning
[00:44:56] he's worthy of your praise Mary wrapped him and placed him in a manger but for me to truly see him I have to unwrap him he was wrapped in prophecy prophecy that has been fulfilled already yes he is prophecy fulfilled but we must unwrap that
[00:45:25] and see what God's plan was let me see if I can unwrap that for someone this morning Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 it shows us to us Jesus was wrapped in prophecy here's what it says for unto us a child is born
[00:45:49] Unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulders.
[00:45:58] In his name shall be Wonderful Counselor.
[00:46:02] Let me put it in Paul's perspective.
[00:46:05] I was lost, but Jesus took me in and heaven filled my soul.
[00:46:13] Can I get a witness?
[00:46:14] Is he a wonderful counselor?
[00:46:16] He can bring clarity to your confusion.
[00:46:19] Is he your mighty God?
[00:46:22] A refuge in conflict?

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_08]:
Is he your everlasting Father?
[00:46:27] He shows compassion.
[00:46:29] Is he your Prince of Peace?
[00:46:31] He consumes your restless heart.
[00:46:34] Everything we need is in Jesus.

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
God's gift perfectly wrapped in glory.
[00:46:44] You can even see in the Old Testament the foreshadows of his promises pointed straight to Christ.
[00:46:54] Noah's Ark, that was Jesus.
[00:46:57] The basket that Moses was in, that was Jesus.
[00:47:01] The showbread in the temple, that was Jesus.

[00:47:05] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_08]:
The ephod that David had on, that was Jesus.
[00:47:08] The fire in the burning bush, that was Jesus.
[00:47:12] the captain of the host who appeared in the fat of Gideon that was Jesus the well within the in the well in the middle of the well Ezekiel saw that was Jesus I'm sorry and I shouldn't apologize but I get excited all those things pointed to Jesus what was his promise

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
He fulfilled it.
[00:47:43] It's just part of the story.
[00:47:46] He is the completion of the story.

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_08]:
He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and chastised for our peace was upon his shoulders.

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
With his stripes do you know you're healed.
[00:48:10] We were like sheep going astray.
[00:48:12] That's what I'm saying.
[00:48:13] We were just going to and for astray.
[00:48:16] But God laid our iniquities on his shoulders.
[00:48:22] And yet, this was already fulfilled.
[00:48:27] Quite frankly, we were sinners bound for hell.
[00:48:35] And he came to save us.
[00:48:41] Matthews declares that he says in Matthew she would bring forth a son and you should call his name Jesus for he will save his people from their sins that's already been fulfilled has it not one more point
[00:49:04] it's not just enough for us to see him in prophecy alone church we have to unwrap him in the history for he is prophecy fulfilled and when prophecy is filled history is concluded Jesus is the completion of God's plan
[00:49:27] Let me see if I can just slow down and take it slow here.
[00:49:31] Jesus is already not yet.
[00:49:36] Jesus already is the what?
[00:49:38] The beginning and the first.
[00:49:44] After history is concluded in him because whose story is it?
[00:49:51] it's Jesus story it tells you that in Galatians but when the fulfillment of time was come God sent forth his son made of a woman made under the law to redeem them that were under the law that we might receive the adoption of his son can I help someone this morning
[00:50:14] a woman would bring forth a son who would crush the head of the serpent in other words what the enemy meant for disaster God delivered us
[00:50:29] in other words we were in trouble in the garden and what the enemy meant for dismantle God deliver us in another garden in other words we were in trouble with the tree but God saved us with another tree in other words what sin broke grace may hold in other words
[00:50:56] From the womb of a woman to the wood of the cross, God's plans was never interrupted, only fulfilled.
[00:51:07] My brothers and sisters, the gift perfectly wrapped in glory, Paul says the fullness of time, he said when God get ready, not when Rome got ready, not when Israel got ready,
[00:51:26] not when the world thought it was time but when God say it's time it's when it's time Paul said he sent forth his son Jesus just didn't show up he had an assignment for you and me and God dispersed that assignment through his son Jesus Christ for our purpose this gift
[00:51:55] this gift made of a woman which mean he was full fully human which mean when we walk up in here he knows every pain you have which means when you walk up in here he knows every struggle which means when you shedding tears and he knows about it because it tells you he was also made under the law
[00:52:26] he submitted to the very law that condemned us so we could be redeemed those who are bound in it listen there is no greater name than Jesus Christ no matter what you're walking through today take a moment to lift him up let's be reminded
[00:52:56] who he is and who God sent you a perfectly wrapped gift and glory
[00:53:04] Listen, Paul put it plainly.
[00:53:06] God didn't just saved us.
[00:53:09] He adopted us.
[00:53:11] We were outsiders and he brought us in.
[00:53:14] We were slaves and he made us sons and daughters.
[00:53:18] We were bound by the law and he gave us a new name and a new standing.
[00:53:24] That's not just salvation.
[00:53:26] That's family.
[00:53:27] We are in the family.
[00:53:34] that's what this gift is and we ought to give him some praise this morning listen I've learned this too through my children if you're waiting for some of your family members to get saved understand it this way they're going to be ready when God said it's ready you can pray
[00:53:59] you can witness you can love them but salvation happens on God's timing and so this mother had to learn that it wasn't on my timing because let me tell you why God knows how to send enough trouble he knows how to send enough heartbreaking he knows how to send just enough shortage he knows how to allow just enough heartbreaks
[00:54:27] to bring them hard heads to their senses.
[00:54:34] Because the truth be told, our presence in here this morning is the evidence of God preparing salvation for everyone in this place that needed him.
[00:54:45] I need someone in here who can remember when life before you got saved.
[00:54:56] we can clearly say there's a difference right when you were then and now you are now since you in the Lord there's truly a difference correct you didn't find him he found you you weren't even looking for him he came looking for you and when the fullness of time came in our life God stepped right in on time and changed everything
[00:55:28] Yes he did!
[00:55:30] When you really think about this, you should really be shouting right now.
[00:55:38] But this is my testimony and I'm almost done.
[00:55:43] I give God praise and I come to this sanctuary here.
[00:55:50] Because people tend to judge you by what you obtain and how you look.
[00:55:57] but if I stand behind this sacred desk don't judge me like that because you don't know how far I had to come just to stand here and that's why we as Christians should never be envy of one another we don't know the valley someone had to walk through we don't know the tears they had to cry you don't know the battles they had to fight just to get here
[00:56:28] many times people are seeing our victory they haven't even saw our struggles they celebrate our testimonies but they haven't endured the test we had to go through so instead of envy we ought to have gratitude and thankful for each and everyone that's sitting in here
[00:56:54] Instead of comparing with each other, we should have compassion for each other.
[00:57:00] My brothers and sisters, you can't make me doubt him.
[00:57:05] I know too much about him.
[00:57:07] and he's opened too many doors that you haven't even seen and I've seen him make a way out of Norway and I've seen him lift up friends I've seen him bring down too many enemies that has gotten his way for my purpose that he has for me that's why I love him those once
[00:57:33] said I'll never make it.
[00:57:35] They doubted me.
[00:57:37] They laughed at me because I have a speech impediment.
[00:57:41] But now look at me now.
[00:57:46] Look at me now.
[00:57:48] I'm bringing the God's word.
[00:57:51] My brothers and sisters, look how God has bought you.
[00:57:57] Look what he's done for you through Jesus Christ.
[00:58:02] all honor all praise belongs to him because he's so faithful to us and his promises never fail my soul don't have to wonder what he's done for me already know that nobody that nobody can do me like Jesus
[00:58:31] When I think about how many roads God has brought me over, how many mountains God has led me around, how many mistakes I have made and still make, and he has given me chance after chance after chance.
[00:58:53] That's how good God is.
[00:58:56] Listen, Seals Creek.
[00:58:58] I could be writing down Interstate 77 or 483 and when I think about His mercy, when I think about His goodness, when I think about His faithfulness, when I think about His charity,
[00:59:16] When I think about His grace for my life, when I think about where I was, where I think about I was seeking and saying, I don't need to be in here!

[00:59:34] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_08]:
Nobody can tell me what God has done for me.

[00:59:41] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
I leave you with this testimony.
[00:59:45] I'm grateful that I asked God to come into my heart I'm glad I asked because a few years ago I almost died from pneumonia and I was lost and on my way to hell I asked God to come into my life but not only my life come into my heart church and into my soul
[01:00:15] he saved me he set me free he cleaned me up he guides me he teach me he corrects me and those who are watching on social media wherever you are in your space please turn into you turn it into your sanctuary and start giving god praise right now
[01:00:43] You need to think about some of the stuff this year that he's already done.
[01:00:49] Has he been good to you this year?

[01:00:52] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_08]:
we're in December and he has kept his promise and it's December the 28th and you still have a portion of your health I got some scars to even prove that he's a way maker he's a miracle worker he's a promise keeper he's a problem solver he's a friend when you're friendless he's your bread when you're hungry he's a lawyer in the courtroom
[01:01:19] Can I get a witness?
[01:01:22] Won't he do it?
[01:01:24] Won't he fight your battles?
[01:01:27] Anybody grateful this morning?
[01:01:30] He'll make your enemies at your footstool.
[01:01:33] Won't he do it?
[01:01:35] He'll give you hope for tomorrow.
[01:01:38] Won't he do it?
[01:01:39] He'll dry your tears.

[01:01:51] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
no matter what this world says to you and I'm saying this is somebody who really need this this morning no matter what this world says to you no matter what you see on TV no matter what trials you're facing know who you are and know who you belong to you are a child of the King Jesus is our Savior
[01:02:19] and God is our heavenly father and I leave you with this you are God's gift you are perfectly wrapped in his glory amen be blessed church now if we could play softly something for me I want to speak to someone who might need to respond to this message
[01:02:50] but I want something from you too I want every head bowed if you can every eye closed because maybe there is somebody who would like to respond to God's Word maybe there's someone feeling so lost this morning maybe someone got so much guilt on their shoulders this morning
[01:03:17] or perhaps you never asked God to come into your heart or maybe you just need to surrender your life to him this is the moment listen he pardoned me and he can do the same for you you don't have to fix yourself you don't have to qualify for it
[01:03:46] and guess what you can be staying right where you are you don't have to be loud you don't have to be nobody but yourself and if you have not asked the Lord to come into your heart just quietly say this in your heart say this prayer Lord Jesus
[01:04:15] I ask you to come into my life.
[01:04:20] I want to receive my Savior.
[01:04:26] Forgive my sins and adopt me as your child.
[01:04:34] Thank you for your love.
[01:04:37] Thank you for your mercy.
[01:04:40] Thank you for your grace.
[01:04:43] In Jesus name you pray.
[01:04:46] if you prayed that prayer let me tell you God knows all about it and he sees you and from this moment forward he will change your story amen church Father God we thank you for your indescribable gift
[01:05:17] thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to redeem us thank you for adopting us into your family thank you for making us your children thank you for those who just asked you to come into their hearts seal their hearts with love give them your spirit

[01:06:15] Thank you Mr. Pinkston, correct?
[01:06:20] Pinkston, yes.
[01:06:21] Thank you church for allowing me to come before you.
[01:06:26] Now, if I don't see you in another year,
[01:06:45] Tell someone they are a perfect gift wrapped in God's salvation.
[01:06:57] Now unto him who's able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before his presence with exceedingly joy to the only wise God
[01:07:15] Our Savior to glory to majesty dominion and power now and forever and the saint says thank you so much

[01:07:45] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_01]:
Thank you so much Reverend McTire for that beautiful message this morning.
[01:07:49] She did allow God to use her and we thank you for offering what he had to say to you.
[01:07:56] At this time we will have our offering so if the ushers

[01:09:02] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_07]:
Don't we stand?

[01:10:00] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_01]:
At this time, we usually will yield to announcements, but I do not think we have any, any announcements other than I know Sister Marnita did send out an email to everyone about the food giveaway, but I think that has passed, but we don't have any additional announcements that need to be recognized this morning.
[01:10:20] So at this time, we're gonna call Reverend McTier back up for the benediction.
[01:10:26] She got a little excited.
[01:10:27] She was ready to go.
[01:10:28] It's all right.
[01:10:29] It's all right.

[01:10:32] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]:
Do I need to?
[01:10:33] Or can we all God's people go in peace and be blessed?
[01:10:38] Amen.
