❓ What do these grades mean?
We do not issue this rating to attack the speaker, but to protect the listener. This ministry's overall teaching trend consistently deviates from sound doctrine. As per Romans 16:17, we identify these patterns so believers can guard their hearts.
🧐 Overview
Theological Verdict & Summary
Sermon Summary: A passionate call to break free from the exhausting cycle of people-pleasing and to find true identity and security in God's approval alone.
Pastoral Analysis: While the sermon addresses a genuine human struggle with anxiety and validation, it fundamentally fails to anchor the solution in the Gospel. Instead of pointing to the finished work of Christ for sanctification, it relies on behavioral modification, self-help strategies, and even prosperity gospel promises. The complete omission of the Gospel and the presence of severe doctrinal errors regarding God's sovereignty and the nature of grace render this teaching spiritually dangerous.
Biblical Parallel (Archetype): Sardis — The sermon presents a 'name that it is alive, but is dead' orthodoxy. While it utilizes Christian terminology, it fundamentally lacks the life-giving power of the Gospel, replacing it with a self-help moralism. The complete omission of Penal Substitution and the reliance on human willpower for sanctification characterize a dead orthodoxy that trusts in its own strength rather than the Spirit.
Big Idea: Believers must break free from the fear-based habit of people-pleasing to obey God, recognizing that their identity and approval come from Him alone, not from human validation. [00:21:06 ▶️ 📄]
📖 How they Handle Scripture & Jesus
- Primary Text: Galatians 1:10
- Usage Classification: Thematic
- Text-to-Talk Ratio: High
- Pulpit Decorum: ⚠️ CAUTION - The sermon contains coarse language and pejoratives (e.g., 'squawking turkey', 'brats', 'scaredy cat') and uses aggressive, declarative commands over demonic forces that lack biblical precedent.
✝️ Christological Focus: Moralistic/Imitative
"Jesus is presented primarily as a moral example of someone who did not please people, rather than as the Savior whose atoning work enables believers to overcome sin and anxiety."

"he decides I'm gonna go take sandwiches to his brother when he gets out there he sees this big old giant harassing his hundreds and hundreds of tough dudes and he's like what in the world are y'all doing he came to deliver food the family didn't see his greatness the family never thought he had anything in him. But because in his season where everyone discounted him, he was learning how to pray and fight. He was learning how to believe and fight. He was learning how to build his confidence. And he shows up and he knocks the Goliath out. And because he could knock the Goliath out, even his own brother Eliab walks up to him and says, who do you think you are? His own brother. You know why? Because his brother knew he had something. His brother knew he carrying an oil. His brother knew there's something in this man. A lot of times when people are coming against you, it's because they see something in you that they don't see in themselves. And you're going to let them stop you. You're going to let them stop you. I used to lay hands on myself all the time and say, Lord, let me see myself like the haters see me. god let me see myself the way those blogs see me lord let me because maybe when they talk about you and you ain't even in the room there's something on you because usually it's out of sight out of mind but when they can take time to build a whole case against you and they don't even know and even worse when they do know you see they know there's something in you the brother goes why are you here who is watching the sheep why are you quitting your job you got kids at home that need insurance why are you going after your dream you fell out of school in the eighth grade he says why are you here who is watching the sheep Eliab said I know you're just prideful David could have spent all day on Eliab but you know what David saw David was like no no no I've got some stones in my hand and I know all I need I don't even need armor you got to put on armor and you still a scaredy cat I don't even got to put no armor on cause baby I've been sweating I've been out in the field sitting under a tree trying to keep warm you don't have a clue what I made it through all I need is one stone and I'm gonna take this stone and he's over there the brothers are talking to him he tunes them out and he takes that stone and he throws it and he hits him between the eyes there's some of you you've been discounted they thought you were stupid they said nobody would ever love you because your teeth they said nobody would ever love you because you can't put complete sentences together they said nobody would ever love you because you dropped out of school they said nobody would ever love you because you're the baby they said nobody would ever love you because you've been married a few times trying to get somebody to approve of you but I'm in this room today telling you you are the chosen one you have a call of God on your life always say this thieves don't rob empty vaults do you hear me limitless thieves don't rob empty vaults fight you because you're weakling they're fighting you because there's something inside of you and baby I'm here to tell you today you ain't too old you ain't too far gone if you could touch the hem of his garment stay standing I'm done if you could touch the hem of his garment when that lady had been bleeding for 12 years and people told her you stay in your house don't you come out of your house cause you're defected that's how some of you feel I know there's a call of God on my life but because I have a history I can't be used of God that woman was told to stay in the house and when she finally said if I can get to the feet of Jesus I don't even need to I don't even need him to lay hands on me if I could just touch him I don't even need him to lay hands on me I don't even need him to know my name I don't even got to tell him what's wrong with me if I could just touch a piece of his cloth I will be made whole it had nothing to do with God and everything to do with her faith she knew my faith with that touch that's why the enemy's been stopping you because you carry oil you are slippery you are slippery you are slippery you are oily you know what I started realizing y'all I started realizing that I used to tell God you hate me I must have been bad in baby heaven because anything that could go wrong went wrong in my life my heart was always right I wanted so bad for people to love me I tried to be like everybody when I started preaching I would listen to people and God and he said and he's gonna do so I could who I would watch them dance still can't get that left leg to move I would do everything I could to turn myself into who I thought I should be by them and I remember God kept telling me until you get to a place where you love who I created you to every scar every embarrassing story every embarrassing season every delay every single mistake and you get to a place where you can celebrate you can celebrate the DUI you can celebrate in the jail you can celebrate the addiction you can celebrate everything God trusted you with until you get there Kimberly you're never gonna get free I would stay mad like I was going to get a reward for it. I carried a fence like I was getting paid for it. I would say things like, this is just me. Take it or leave it. And guess what? Everybody left it. And it was the greatest thing that happened to me because I hit rock bottom. And when I hit rock bottom, I found the rock at the bottom, which was Jesus. And he started picking me up. I was laying in my bed and I'd be like, God, take this pain away. He'd be like, I can't take it away. You got to get up and walk away from it. that means you got to reprogram your brain you got to begin to stop your bad thoughts you got to stop playing with sin and think i'm gonna save you and you got to start closing some doors and you got to start getting comfortable by yourself and you got to get comfortable praising me you got to get comfortable praising god in the middle of church and not caring what nobody thinks about you and here's what i'm telling you limitless people pleasing you not getting invited the greatest gift to your life because a lot of times you didn't get invited because your shine was gonna take the whole room one of the greatest gifts was you've been you've been you've been the baby of the family the baby always gets overlooked they're spoiled they're brats and they're overlooked and we ain't never wrong and one of the greatest gifts to my life was losing everything at 36 years old and having to pull myself up out of the grave having to pull myself up and walk into church and lead praise and worship when I hated God and his children I praised my way from religion into a relationship y'all listen to me the problem with today is we get stuck in a culture where we need people approval some of y'all aren't doing what God told you to do because a man or a woman didn't ordain you or speak it into you nobody has given the authority to tell you what you can do and not do for the kingdom of God. Some of you are sleeping on your gift. You're sleeping on that business. You're sleeping on that book. You're sleeping on that podcast. You're sleeping on that store. You're sleeping and you're barely making it and you're in, I'm just taking crumbs. I'm taking crumbs. But here at Limitless, we don't take crumbs. Here at Limitless, we build our own table. Here at Limitless, we support each other and love each other and push each other and believe in each other do you hear me so this season i want i want you to think about it some of y'all this close to losing your marriage it's close it's terrible out in these streets but because we're so afraid of somebody thinking that we need them because the last person we shade we needed they left so now we big bad and alone that broken bag don't keep you warm. I've called you for such a time as this, and it starts with surrender. And if you're in this place today and you say, Pastor Kim, I get right there and I feel like I hit a wall. Y'all look at me. Church hurt is a real thing. There's humans leading churches and all of us are flawed. That does not give anybody permission to hurt you. It's your job not to get offended at people. We got to make a point to lead places that we are done with without sabotage it's okay to go to another church it's okay to go to another job and it's okay to not even explain yourself but what not is what is not okay is you walking into that next season with the same anger you left with because where God's taking you they need you at that church where they need you at that job and a lot of times because we walk in with the scars we don't allow ourselves to really show who we are and so if you're in this room today and you say, PK, I've been, I've been putting a muffle on myself. I've been hiding in the back. I used to be so outgoing, but now look at me and I'm ready to reclaim that y'all. June, the end of this June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Look at me. This is your redo. This is your comeback season. This is a season to recalibrate. Did you know you could be a millionaire by December? I'm not kidding. You could be married by December and you ain't got a date just like that and if you're in this room today and you say BK I've been I've been stopping it I'm so afraid of failure I'm so afraid of messing up I put myself over here in this little box but I'm ready to reclaim it lift up your hand come on lift it up I'm ready to reclaim my next season I'm ready for joy to fill my life come on lift it up come on online just drop a one say I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready and I need you take that head and put it on your head like this say father show me what i need to release show me what i need to release show me who i need to release lord give me spiritual amnesia let your power flow through me now say self i forgive you for not knowing then what i know now devil you should have taken me out when you could have because i'm coming back for double for my trouble i want restitution say fear go back to hell worry go back to hell and go back to hell where you belong i repent for playing small use me in jesus name amen amen and amen i'm up here my king it's our two years how many y'all feel like you got a blessing today like you listen And this is what God does. He unlocks you. And that's what he's doing in your life. Y'all, we've been married two years. Man, I love you, baby. Aren't y'all so thankful for him? Y'all, thank y'all for loving him. A whole two years. Come on, dance for him, baby. Dance. It's your anniversary, anniversary. It's your anniversary. I still ain't got his rhythm, but I sure am trying. Thank you. It's your anniversary. Two of the best years of my life. I'm so glad that God was able to pivot me. Come on, baby. So let God use you and pivot all the way up. And don't turn back. Just keep going. Because, baby, when I met you at St. Regents four years ago, you never thought in a million years that you were going to be in church every birthday since. Even my own birthday, conference, everything. He told me last year, he said, I'm at church again on my birthday. Next year, I ain't doing this. You're in the right place. You're where you're supposed to be. Monday don't seem like a bad day at work. Tuesday don't seem like a bad day at work. Because one day, that job is going to become your job. But you got to go through those jobs to get where you're going at in life. And when you start building, and I was standing there at free lunch. I don't know about y'all. Some of y'all may know about free lunch at the park. One day, you're going to be giving out food to people. Come on, baby. That's your blessing right there. Boom, shaka, laka, laka, boom. One day, you're going to see one of those kids that you say, that's my product that's my product so when we see in these kids on TV entertainment that's your product baby I'm the product so God put us in the right place at the right time because he know he had the good product because sometimes the process is better than the product come on baby and the process is necessary to get to the process because i kept going through the process and you finally got in line and met kim so your pivot is not for you to downside just because you start that business i got to go back to work no you work that job harder it's your job work it a little bit more hard show up call everybody there to say no i got some good news for you for that house i got some good news for that car i got a good marriage counselor here at the church his name is elder james yeah we got the hookup yeah i got a good woman ministry miss angel yeah it's a process but when you put everything in place and you got people that's here that's why rob is here i don't"

🧭 Biblical Alignment Dashboard
Overall Verdict: Fundamentally in Error
| Category | Status | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| Gospel Presentation | ❌ FAIL | The Gospel Engine is critically compromised. The sermon completely omits the core Gospel of Penal Substitution, Total Depravity, and Monergistic Regeneration. It replaces the message of grace with a self-help moralism, failing to anchor the congregation's identity and sanctification in Christ's work. |
| Soteriology | ❌ FAIL | The sermon denies monergistic regeneration and promotes synergistic sanctification (self-help) and transactional reward systems, directly contradicting the doctrine of grace. |
| Bibliology | ⚠️ WEAK | Scripture is used selectively to support behavioral applications rather than as the primary authority for doctrine. The hermeneutic is often allegorical or moralistic rather than redemptive-historical. |
| Hermeneutic | ⚠️ WEAK | The sermon employs a moralistic hermeneutic, extracting behavioral lessons from biblical narratives while ignoring the theological context and the role of the Holy Spirit in application. |
| Theology Proper | ❌ FAIL | God's sovereignty is explicitly denied in the context of healing, and His providence is treated as a transactional mechanism for prosperity, reflecting a severe deviation from orthodox theology. |
| Sacramentology | ✅ PASS | No specific sacramental errors were detected in the provided reports. |
| Confessional Depth | ❌ SHALLOW | The sermon lacks depth in core doctrines like the Gospel, Providence, and Sanctification, relying instead on surface-level psychological insights and cultural anecdotes. |
⚙️ The Core Gospel Framework
Why it matters for the final verdict: A complete Gospel framework protects a sermon from becoming man-centered. If a preacher gives commands for good behavior but leaves out the grace and atonement of the Gospel, it often results in a 🔴 Critical or 🟠 Major error for Moralism (teaching human self-improvement rather than reliance on Christ). However, if these Gospel elements are missing simply because the pastor is preaching a highly focused, practical message to mature believers (e.g., instructions on biblical marriage), our system applies a "Safe Harbor" pardon, graciously reducing the omission to a 🟡 Minor error.
❌ The Law And Wrath: Not observed in the sermon.
❌ Total Depravity And Inability: Not observed in the sermon.
❌ Active Obedience Of Christ: Not observed in the sermon.
❌ The Cross And Atonement: Not observed in the sermon.
⚠️ Theological Concerns
🔴 Critical Gospel Omission
Root Cause: Moralism
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor completely omits the core Gospel of Penal Substitution, Total Depravity, and Monergistic Regeneration, replacing it with a self-help message on overcoming people-pleasing.
Why It's Dangerous: The congregation is left without the power of the Gospel to change, relying instead on their own willpower, which leads to spiritual pride or despair.
Biblical Correction: Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
🔴 Critical Prosperity Gospel and Word of Faith Guarantees
Root Cause: Prosperity Gospel
"Did you know you could be a millionaire by December? I'm not kidding. You could be married by December and you ain't got a date just like that" [01:08:51 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor promises specific financial and relational outcomes within a fixed timeframe as a guaranteed result of the current season, reflecting Prosperity Gospel rhetoric.
Why It's Dangerous: This creates a false theology of blessing, leading to disillusionment when God's timing differs from human expectations, and it reduces God to a vending machine for material gain.
Biblical Correction: Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
🔴 Critical Montanism / Word of Faith (Positive Confession & Demonic Commands)
Root Cause: Montanism
"devil you should have taken me out when you could have because i'm coming back for double for my trouble i want restitution say fear go back to hell worry go back to hell and go back to hell where you belong" [01:09:17 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor utilizes positive confession and declarative commands over demonic forces, treating spiritual warfare as a mechanism to extract restitution and force spiritual outcomes through human speech acts.
Why It's Dangerous: This empowers the believer to believe they can control spiritual realities through their own words, bypassing reliance on Christ's finished work and God's sovereign will.
Biblical Correction: James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
🔴 Critical Minimization of God's Sovereign Agency in Healing
Root Cause: Pelagianism
"It had nothing to do with God and everything to do with her faith she knew my faith with that touch" [01:01:47 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor explicitly attributes the healing of the bleeding woman solely to her faith, stating it had 'nothing to do with God,' which dangerously minimizes God's sovereign agency and monergistic power in salvation and healing.
Why It's Dangerous: This teaches that God is passive or limited by human faith, undermining the doctrine of God's omnipotence and sovereignty.
Biblical Correction: Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
🟠 Major Prosperity Gospel / Guaranteed Outcomes
Root Cause: Prosperity Gospel
"Did you know you could be a millionaire by December? I'm not kidding. You could be married by December and you ain't got a date just like that" [01:08:51 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor explicitly promises specific financial and relational outcomes within a fixed timeframe, treating the believer's current season as a contractual lever for guaranteed material and social blessings.
Why It's Dangerous: This fosters a transactional relationship with God, where faith is measured by temporal success, leading to spiritual crisis when promises are not fulfilled.
Biblical Correction: Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'
🟠 Major Denial of Perpetual Spiritual Warfare
Root Cause: Anti-Demonology
"Spiritual warfare. It's almost like we got to have spiritual warfare to make us feel like we're holy enough. What for your whole life? You under spiritual attack your whole life every day, or could it be your choices?" [00:38:41 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor incorrectly attributes the Christian's constant struggle to personal choices and people-pleasing rather than acknowledging the biblical doctrine that the Christian life is inherently and perpetually characterized by spiritual conflict.
Why It's Dangerous: This minimizes the reality of the enemy's activity and the need for constant vigilance, leading to a false sense of security or self-sufficiency.
Biblical Correction: Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
🟠 Major Keswick Quietism and Separation of Surrender from Faith
Root Cause: Keswick Theology
"But you gotta let go and let God." [00:52:04 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor employs Keswick/perfectionist language that implies a two-stage transaction where the believer passively surrenders control to create an unresisting field for divine action, separating the act of surrender from the act of faith.
Why It's Dangerous: This creates a mechanical view of sanctification that ignores the active role of faith and obedience empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Biblical Correction: Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
🟠 Major Homiletical Imbalance (Moralism)
Root Cause: Moralism
The Belief/Behavior: The sermon relies on behavioral self-help and human willpower for sanctification rather than the Gospel and Holy Spirit.
Why It's Dangerous: The congregation is left without the power of the Gospel to change, relying instead on their own willpower, which leads to spiritual pride or despair.
Biblical Correction: Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
🟡 Minor Conflation of Psychological Freedom with Spiritual Deliverance
Root Cause: Psychological Reductionism
"How many y'all need deliverance from what people think how many need deliverance to live your life." [00:43:29 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor uses charismatic terminology to describe freedom from social anxiety, erroneously equating psychological or emotional liberation with the theological concept of spiritual deliverance from sin and demonic bondage.
Why It's Dangerous: This trivializes the biblical concept of deliverance and may lead to misdiagnosis of spiritual issues as purely psychological or vice versa.
Biblical Correction: 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
🟡 Minor Transactional View of Sanctification and Reward
Root Cause: Works-Righteousness
"I would stay mad like I was going to get a reward for it. I carried a fence like I was getting paid for it." [01:03:30 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor uses commercial, transactional language to describe suffering and endurance, implying a merit-based or quid-pro-quo view of sanctification that contradicts biblical grace.
Why It's Dangerous: This fosters a works-righteousness mindset, where believers believe they can earn God's favor or reward through their suffering.
Biblical Correction: Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
🟡 Minor Contradiction of Pauline Theology on Spiritual Armor
Root Cause: Anti-Demonology
"I don't even got to put no armor" [00:59:26 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor implies that reliance on God's specific provision (David's stones) renders the general biblical mandate to put on the full armor of God unnecessary or indicative of fear, contradicting standard Pauline theology.
Why It's Dangerous: This undermines the biblical command for believers to actively engage in spiritual warfare through the means God has provided.
Biblical Correction: Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
🟡 Minor NAR/Montanism Ritualistic Prayer and Decretive Language
Root Cause: Montanism
"say father show me what i need to release show me what i need to release show me who i need to release lord give me spiritual amnesia let your power flow through me now say self i forgive you for not knowing then what i know now devil you should have taken me out when you could have because i'm coming back for double for my trouble i want restitution say fear go back to hell worry go back to hell and go back to hell where you belong" [01:09:17 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor commands the congregation to use declarative commands and ritualistic prayer to claim restitution and spiritual amnesia, characteristic of New Apostolic Reformation practices that bypass biblical prayer and reliance on God's will.
Why It's Dangerous: This teaches believers to manipulate spiritual outcomes through their own words, rather than submitting to God's will.
Biblical Correction: Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
✅ Commendations
Pastoral Sensitivity | Addressing Real Pain
The pastor effectively identifies the deep-seated pain and anxiety associated with people-pleasing and trauma, showing empathy for the congregation's struggles with validation and rejection.
Relational Application | Practical Boundaries
The sermon provides practical, relatable illustrations (e.g., family dynamics, workplace toxicity) that help the congregation understand the practical costs of people-pleasing in daily life.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_01]
[00:03:42] ...place, O God.
[00:03:43] Meet the needs, O God.
[00:03:45] God, do only what you can do, O God, and change situations.
[00:03:48] It's because you're good, you're faithful, O God.
[00:03:51] We'll praise you, we'll adore you, we'll give you glory, O God.
[00:03:55] It's your righteousness we seek after, Father.
[00:03:57] So we thank you now for what you're doing.
[00:04:00] In your son Jesus' name we pray.
[00:04:02] Amen and amen and amen.
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[00:04:05] Come on, somebody lift your hands.
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:04:07] if you know he's worthy to be praised come on come on tell him you're alpha and omega you're beginning and i am oh you are alpha come on say we worship we worship you our lord
[00:04:30] are worthy to be praised come on i want you to sing with us say you are omega worship Lord we magnify you
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]
[00:06:05] We give you the glory
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:06:07] And we want to let you know that we're not waiting That we'll worship you right now At midnight
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[00:06:14] Paul and Silas prayed inside that prison Singing hymns to God The prisoners listening But little did they know what would come next
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:06:28] All of a sudden The earth began to quake And the foundation Of that jail began to shake The door flung open The chains of all the prisoners Came loose Song says So don't tell me what praise
[00:06:52] Can I do
[00:06:54] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]
[00:06:54] Since praise is happening now
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:09:10] I won't wait All the workers come to the front If that's prayer you're needing
[00:13:32] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]
[00:13:32] Something that you can't change
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:13:36] The love that Jesus has for you
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[00:13:37] You can't change his love
[00:13:46] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:13:46] No more walking in shame because the way that he loves you isn't something you can change you've been running in circles but you can't run from grace because the love that he has for you isn't something you can change say just like out of that grave I got
[00:14:22] God rewrites history, Jesus, you change everything, when you pour your spirit, just like, singing with Paul, praise can break down prison walls, Jesus, you, when you pour your, that's all you gotta do, song says, it's long gone, looking for the old, it's long gone, no I'm not, babe, if you're looking for the stone,
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_09]
[00:21:06] It's called I ain't got nothing to prove just realize this song if you're looking for the old me I just sold all the furniture Many times I already said through a whole service and I just realized that this song is everything that I'm preaching today
[00:21:39] You keep coming back my past that things gone And I need some of you right now to kind of move out of the way and just be like that's gone That ain't even me no more.
[00:21:57] Sing that again.
[00:21:58] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[00:21:58] If you're looking for the old me, it's long gone.
[00:22:07] No, I'm not the same.
[00:22:09] If you're looking for the storm, it was run away.
[00:22:15] Looking for the old me, it's long gone.
[00:22:21] No, I'm not the same.
[00:22:22] If you're looking for the storm, it was run away.
[00:22:27] Some of y'all need to really sing this.
[00:22:37] You're giving your permission to listen.
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_09]
[00:23:29] One of the enemy's biggest tactics is people.
[00:23:34] Y'all hear me?
[00:23:35] People, decent.
[00:23:38] We can sing these songs all day long and even shout.
[00:23:44] But if you don't let what you're saying get into you, ain't nothing going to change.
[00:23:51] So what does that mean?
[00:23:52] you got to take back your power. Anybody in here ever dealt with a, with a mom that wouldn't let go? How many of y'all sitting by her? Okay. So listen, you know, them helicopter moms
[00:24:10] and God just dropped this in my spirit. So some of y'all might be her, but I still love you.
[00:24:17] But when, when, when a person gets married, the Bible says that you got to leave your mom and daddy and cleave to your spouse. So a lot of times what the enemy will do is the enemy will
[00:24:28] make a mom that that's her whole world was you and if you don't learn how to put boundaries up what ends up happening to your marriage they pull you apart then you go talk to her about stuff and
[00:24:48] she ready for you to come home same thing with relationships when you get a divorce what happens you break away but if you got somebody that won't let you break away guess what happens the enemy
[00:25:03] uses it and so in this room today we can sing these songs all we want but if we don't learn how to release even when it's uncomfortable even when we're scared see the reason parents can still
[00:25:18] have this hold on us is because they're our safety net they ain't never gonna leave us they always got our back but if you don't let go it's gonna mess up your marriage so it's not that
[00:25:32] you don't love your parents but there's a place in a new season different rules and different seasons right so some of y'all been holding some baggage in this room you've been letting some situations it's putting a wedge in your next season I don't know what your wedge is but some
[00:25:54] of you gotta today figure out what that wedge is you already know it because you deal with it all the time and you need to say, God, help me release it. Come on. Say, God, help me release it. God,
[00:26:07] help me release it. Don't let me get vindictive. Don't let me get angry. Don't let me believe what they say. And I say, Lord, I receive your peace in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Y'all killed it.
[00:26:25] give it up for our singers and musicians I love you come on give it up for Jesus now give it up for the one give it up for the one Lord I was like man I guess I need a pellet
[00:26:47] or something I am hot they said no something's wrong with our air I was like thank you Jesus I was over your second guess of my life I was like my weave's getting more kinky like I'm
[00:26:59] getting like like literally it's all curly up under here okay oh you thought it was just you let me help y'all out it's not you your pellets are working your hormones are fine it's the heat
[00:27:12] we're gonna get it fixed this week I want you to say out loud I have nothing to prove come on said I have nothing to prove the enemy wants to distract me from the plan
[00:27:28] god has for my life satan's ultimate ultimate strategy satan's ultimate strategy is to lead me off course but thankfully god has a strategy to keep me on track did y'all get that now y'all y'all gotta listen to me get your fans out because i know how hot
[00:27:57] is sometimes it's gonna mess you up the enemy don't want you to get this word this word is going to set you free today. So do whatever you got to do. Don't let, don't let your heat get to
[00:28:05] you. You know, when you start sweating, you start feeling that sweat running down your back. You can't even think you're like, man, I can't even think I need some air. You missed the word.
[00:28:13] So lay hands on yourself. Say, Lord, help me get this word in Jesus name. All right. So today we're in pivot. I'm so excited because pivot is one of my favorite words because pivot is something
[00:28:29] that we do with God's help. So a lot of times we're praying for movement, but we won't move.
[00:28:38] Right? We're so used to, Teddy, we're so used to the cycles. We're so used to handling people.
[00:28:45] You ever seen those people that, oh, you don't want to mess with me. Y'all ever seen those people and you think, man, I wish I had their nerve. You ever seen that person? They get front of the line.
[00:28:55] They get all their, look, they get all their food. You can turn the air off. We'll just be hot.
[00:28:59] that's the air that's the devil ain't that like the devil he will make his interruption because you need him to give us some air we will sweat so what the enemy does a lot of times the enemy
[00:29:16] gets you distracted by things that you think you need but say I would rather be criticized for obeying God than celebrated for disobeying him when something feels off it's off I'm not going to let people second guess me.
[00:29:37] Does anybody ever tell you, oh, you're just too sensitive?
[00:29:40] Anybody ever told y'all that?
[00:29:41] Oh, you're just too sensitive.
[00:29:44] You know that's manipulation.
[00:29:45] Do y'all know that's manipulation?
[00:29:47] Oh, you're just too sensitive.
[00:29:50] Oh, you're just so, you are too much.
[00:29:55] Or they try to make you be like somebody else in the family, right?
[00:29:58] So, say, I would rather be criticized for obeying God than celebrated for disobeying him.
[00:30:05] Now, y'all know when we have some kind of action going on like this, I got to get loud.
[00:30:09] So, y'all go on and plug your ears because I'm going to get loud.
[00:30:12] Y'all ready for this?
[00:30:14] I'm going to sound like a squawking turkey.
[00:30:19] We are called to serve people, not to please people.
[00:30:26] Husband, you can't fix that for me.
[00:30:27] My husband fixes everything for me.
[00:30:29] I'm the husband go fight my battle y'all the other day online somebody called me a snow bunny I was like oh they love me I showed it to angel I said look baby they called me a snow bunny
[00:30:46] in that suite he said who are they give me their profile page I said why he said girl that is not good so see you can make things good or you can make them bad right so we are called to serve
[00:31:01] people, not please people. Say people pleasing is the habit of prioritizing what others say about me, owning what they say about me as truth. When God says something different, it's called distraction. You know what it does too? It gets us in the people pleasing. Anybody ever been in
[00:31:24] that place where you find yourself just tired? You're overwhelmed because you give, give, give, give give give give all because you don't want them to be mad at you did you know they're gonna be mad at you anyway did you know that they have already decided in their brain that they're mad
[00:31:43] at you and there's nothing that you can do to get them to believe any different the other day I had somebody else come in my dm and I don't read dms I don't know why I've been in that but I just felt
[00:31:54] like reading the dm and somebody came in there and they said I have tried so hard to hate you and Angelo. I was like, well, you go girl, get it off your chest. Get it off your chest. She said,
[00:32:07] I have tried so hard to hate y'all. She said, but I can't help it. So I might as well join the joy wagon. When you have Jesus on you, you irritate devils. Did you hear me? And so today I want to
[00:32:23] flip the pivot, say flip it PK. I want to start this by talking about people pleasing and how we get in that that that that you will go your whole life trying to people please and the enemy will
[00:32:36] send the same people in your life that look the same same spirit different faces you ever got married and divorced and they got married again it was like oh they just like them never knew each
[00:32:49] other but act just like them and it's because whatever's in you is attracting something and it's not healed and so you are putting up with things that you know you ain't supposed to put up with. Let me break down what people pleasing is, because you can't pivot as long as you're
[00:33:04] people pleasing. So people pleasing is the habit of prioritizing other people's approval.
[00:33:11] Even your mama, even your daddy, even your ex. People pleasing is a habit of prioritizing other people's approval, comfort, and opinions over your own needs, convictions, well-being.
[00:33:30] all it is is at its core is people pleasing isn't kindness so stop acting like you're so humble you're fearful because people pleasing comes from a place of fear fear of rejection fear of conflict fear of disappointing others in fact let's just make this limitless a a a
[00:34:01] when I say something, just do this so you can be free from it. I deal with that PK. I deal with this. I walk in a room and think everybody's staring at you. No, they ain't. They walking
[00:34:13] in as insecure as you. People pleasing is at the root is fear of rejection, fear of conflict, fear of disappointing others, fear of being misunderstood, fear of being tired because everywhere I go, people don't like me. Fear of not being loved or accepted. A people pleaser
[00:34:41] says yes when they want to say no. People pleasing, you feel responsible for everyone else's happiness. You avoid difficult conversations. How many of y'all avoid difficult conversations?
[00:35:00] I'd rather keep the peace, right? Man, there are some people that get everything because they're loud and, and, and loud and wrong, loud and wrong, but they don't even care. They have lost the art of getting along with others because they've had to fight their whole life. And so
[00:35:19] now they've allowed what people did to them to get inside of them. They feel responsible. People pleasing, pleasers feel responsible for everyone else's happiness. They avoid difficult conversations.
[00:35:31] they constantly seek validation and you overextend yourself to keep others comfortable you stay silent about your true feelings you feel guilty about setting boundaries and see the difference between being kind and being a people pleaser is this you ready for this kindness gives from a
[00:35:55] healthy heart i'm showing up but i ain't showing up healthy i'm showing up mad because you made me change my whole plans. Those people that always plan something that you need to be at, but they do it when you already have another obligation on purpose. You know, we have a
[00:36:17] conference every year at this time. You're going to plan that for the whole family exactly during the conference or why I have a work trip. You're going to do it. And then I'm going to feel wrong
[00:36:30] because I couldn't show up. You see what's happening there, right? Because some people are sent by the enemy to agitate you because it's a little foxes that spoil the vine.
[00:36:44] So when you don't deal with some things on the inside of you, the enemy will make sure you are confronted with it. So it steals your peace and you don't go to that next level. Kindness gives
[00:36:55] from a healthy heart. People pleasing gives from a fearful heart. Even Jesus loved people deeply, but he didn't live to please people. If you really study the Bible with us, like we're doing every single morning at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, we're in Joshua right now. And Joshua is telling
[00:37:16] us about how Jesus, man, Jesus was saved, but not solved. Because at some point, even if we're like Jesus, no is no. No is a complete sentence. Why? Because boundaries are biblical. And when I get
[00:37:37] to a place where I can stand before the Lord and know that he's going to say, well done, my good and faithful servant. I ain't got to worry about nothing else. I'm knowing God's handling this. You know how many times I used to lay in my bed and be like, man, I hope I didn't
[00:37:50] say that wrong. I hope I didn't. I hope I didn't offend them. I hope I didn't. I would just freak out, lay in my bed, can't fix nothing, but would lay there and be so afraid because my whole life
[00:38:02] I was told you're just too much. And so I lived in this place of every single thing I ever say it offends people and then when I really fell in love with Jesus and I found God for myself
[00:38:17] did you know I probably didn't find Jesus for myself until I was 36 I could dance with the best of them I fell out every service I could speak in tongues sing worship but did not know
[00:38:31] who Jesus is because I was more driven by idolization of people and so every time I would do something wrong I would spend all my time instead of being in the presence of God and just
[00:38:41] living in peace, which God created you to live in peace. But we're going all through life, stressing out everything, spiritual warfare. It's almost like we got to have spiritual warfare to make us feel like we're holy enough. What for your whole life? You under spiritual attack your whole life
[00:39:02] every day, or could it be your choices? Could it be you making obligations that you don't want to make to make people that ain't never gonna love and like you right anyway proud and pleased well
[00:39:19] what would Jesus do I ain't Jesus trying to be like him every day I lay hands on myself with oil because there's sometimes I want to help Jesus with his children I love Jesus but not always
[00:39:35] his children but it's in that place where you're saying God I literally all for a year would lay hands on myself and say, Lord, show me me. Expose the hard places in me that I never confront
[00:39:53] because I don't want them to be right. Heal me. Let me love well. Don't let me be a people pleaser.
[00:40:05] Don't let me be who they say I am. And over time, I started realizing how free I was.
[00:40:12] That's why now I can literally think everybody's complimenting me. I don't even realize it's hate.
[00:40:17] I'm like, girl, come on, come on.
[00:40:18] You're going to love being around us.
[00:40:20] I don't even remember offenses.
[00:40:22] Like, I don't even think I have offenses.
[00:40:24] If I ever had offenses, I can't even remember because everybody's my friend.
[00:40:28] And if people don't like me, it's because they don't know me.
[00:40:31] Because if you knew me, you would love me.
[00:40:33] And when you're in that place with God, you realize that I'm not on this earth to make you happy.
[00:40:38] I'm on this earth to obey God.
[00:40:40] And as long as I'm obeying God, it ain't my business how you feel about me.
[00:40:45] So when you can get to that place where you fall on your knees and really love Jesus for real, You ain't insulting people. Your spirit may be agitating their demons, but that ain't your business. Your business isn't to quiet down. Your business isn't to be quiet. Your business isn't
[00:41:01] to have the best shout. Your business is to say, why did I need to get on this post and give my opinion? Why did I need to be heard? I ain't never seen more people in my life than right now that's
[00:41:14] got more opinions about people that they don't know. How you judging people off of a 10 second clip, but you have a call of God on your life and the enemy wants to snatch it from you. Why?
[00:41:29] Because the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. And he does it by suffocating your dreams.
[00:41:36] Yeah, you quit living. So Jesus loved deeply, but he didn't live to please people.
[00:41:43] Listen to what Galatians 1.10 says. It says, obviously I'm not trying to win the approval of people. I'm trying to win the approval of God. So a powerful way to identify people, please is to ask yourself this. You ready for this? If nobody got upset with me, would I still
[00:42:01] make this decision? Would I still say no to that family gathering? Would I still tell my boss, no, I'm not working anymore over time for free for you? Would I still give up my peace for my grown
[00:42:22] kids? They went and had all those babies. Nobody told you to have 10 kids. Nobody even told you to have three. But now because you've got kids, now you want me to stop my life and babysit your
[00:42:42] kids because that's what grandmas do. And if you don't do it, then they feel they, they guilt trip you. You see what the enemy does, right? That is people pleasing. So now when you and your husband
[00:42:57] could be going to Cabo San Lucas together, your daughter actually mad at you because you won't keep the kids. And you know, the last time you didn't keep them kids, she didn't talk to you
[00:43:08] for four months that's called manipulation and if you don't learn how to live your own life the enemy will allow every single day you will get another phone call to literally fill your spirit with grief how many y'all need deliverance from what people think how many need deliverance to
[00:43:29] live your life. Raise your own kids. I'm Kiki, not mama. My daughter loves her baby. She don't even do that. I was complaining the other day and my husband said, you better shut up.
[00:43:49] I said, why? He said, wait till she really loves you a whole lot and she wants you to keep that kid every day, then what you're going to do? Sometimes you just got to be grateful for where
[00:43:58] you at, right? So listen, if nobody got upset with me, would I still make this decision?
[00:44:06] If the answer is yes, but you're changing your decision to avoid someone's reaction, that is people pleasing. You ever seen somebody dating somebody? They're hell on wheels and they still dating them because somewhere in them, if I have their kid, then they going to be better.
[00:44:27] No, they ain't. If I get their last name, then it's going to be better. No, it ain't because character is character is character. See, sometimes the reason we are where we are is because we've spent our whole life trying to get approval. You want people to love you so bad that
[00:44:46] you have not lived one ounce of your life feeling joy. Ah, people pleasing is when you become so committed to keeping others happy that you lose yourself in the process. God never called you to
[00:45:04] manage everyone's emotions. He called you to steward your own obedience. Say no is a complete sentence. Is that hard? Some of y'all are like, nope, nope. Man, it ain't hard for me. But other people, no, no, I can't. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I can't. Are you mad? Are you mad? Are
[00:45:30] you mad? I'd be like, girl, be mad. I'm over here living. I raised. I'm living my best life with my husband. The enemy often uses lies to get us distracted, trying to prove a lie wrong.
[00:45:49] Here's where the enemy will get you too, mama. You ready for this? You were not a good, maybe you were not the best mama with them kids. Maybe you were busy growing up with them kids.
[00:45:57] Dad, maybe you were busy being a rolling stone when your kids were little. Maybe you were messy.
[00:46:04] Maybe you're still growing. Nobody gave us a handbook on how to be parents.
[00:46:08] there was not a 101 dummy book for parents we did the best we could do and if you're not careful what the enemy will do the enemy will make you live your whole life feeling a guilt trip when
[00:46:20] I walked through a divorce I literally my guilt tripped in myself because I never dreamed that I'd raise my kids as a single mom and I remember going to that Thanksgiving table and that empty
[00:46:32] chair was sitting there and I felt mortified because how could I be in a marriage for 18 years And then when my kids needed their mom and dad together, we broke up, but I had a decision to
[00:46:47] make. Do I stay here in this toxic relationship and let my children think this is normal or do I risk? Neither answer was white for me. So I had to get to a place where I realized I'm, I'm going to
[00:47:02] do what's honorable to God, right? Listen to this. John 8 44 says, for you are the children of your father, the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the
[00:47:15] beginning. He has always hated the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character for he is a liar and the father of all lies. So if something is
[00:47:27] giving you anxiety, what is that? Huh? Huh? It's a lie. Anxiety is a lie. The reason you have anxiety. Anything that they cannot peg is a spiritual fight the enemy's using to stop you.
[00:47:54] And literally holding on to these people pleasing can literally make you sick. One of the biggest traps the enemy sets isn't making you fail. It's making you spend your life trying to prove a lie
[00:48:04] wrong, trying to be accepted. No matter how much you do for some people, it will never be enough.
[00:48:14] you can't go back and be a better mama.
[00:48:20] You can't go back and be a better employee, but you sure can learn.
[00:48:25] And you sure can get so free from people's opinions that you use it as a ministry point of contact for the world because probably 80% of the moms and dads out here feel like they didn't do enough.
[00:48:38] You hear me?
[00:48:40] Some of you aren't exhausted because of your assignment.
[00:48:43] You're exhausted because you're fighting accusations.
[00:48:46] You're trying to prove.
[00:48:49] You're trying to prove you're good enough.
[00:48:50] you're smart enough you're worthy enough you're over you're over your past you're not who you used to be you're not who they said you were and while you're busy defending yourself you're delaying your destiny why are we still talking about this why do you keep bringing this up
[00:49:15] proof is in the pudding I realized because I get a lot of people saying to me I loved you when you had your mohawk and you wore them tutus you were so feisty and so fabulous and I'd be like girl
[00:49:31] look. She ain't never coming back. But ever so often it would bother me. Like, was I more anointed then? Was I more? What was it? Have I lost that? Because that's what the enemy will do.
[00:49:48] All of a sudden, the other day I was laying in my bed and I was praying and thinking about it.
[00:49:52] God dropped in my spirit. The reason they loved you then is because they understood you then because you were still broken. Anybody that can walk around saying bye Felicia is broken.
[00:50:05] because when you're really healed, you don't explain yourself.
[00:50:10] You let your fruit outlive it.
[00:50:12] Say whatever you want to say, but I'm going to let my fruit show you.
[00:50:16] And so what the enemy will do if you don't get free from that, he will bring those people in your life to make you question that.
[00:50:23] See, this is what healed looks like.
[00:50:25] This is what called being loved looks like.
[00:50:28] Why she always got to talk about her husband?
[00:50:30] Because baby, I am so grateful that God gave me another chance.
[00:50:36] I'm so thankful that I'm not that girl that ran them off that I don't need no man wake up one day and didn't have one oh I'm doing everything different why because I gotta break the pattern
[00:50:51] of what I was used to which means I gotta do the exact opposite that got me where I was before and there's some people that won't let you outgrow a season so what does that mean to the balcony
[00:51:08] you go I love you but I love you from up there listen while you're busy defending yourself you're delaying your destiny the enemy doesn't need you to believe every lie he needs you just to spend
[00:51:20] your life responding to them why why can I just let you go love who you love why does it get in our under our skin so much so that we will go to bed and eat Haagen-Dazs and gain 60 pounds
[00:51:42] and stalk them on social media instead of realizing that they don't love you and that's okay.
[00:51:52] That God will send complete strangers to support you.
[00:51:57] He will send somebody out in Zimbabwe to fill positions in your life.
[00:52:04] But you gotta let go and let God.
[00:52:08] Write this down.
[00:52:08] The lie was never your assignment.
[00:52:12] People pleasing was never your assignment.
[00:52:16] You hear me?
[00:52:18] Jesus never spent his ministry proving Pharisees wrong.
[00:52:23] I get asked all the time, can you give me a scripture for this, Pastor Kim?
[00:52:26] I need a scripture for this.
[00:52:28] Someone at work is debating me.
[00:52:30] Can I have a scripture?
[00:52:31] I say, girl, no, I can't.
[00:52:32] Go chat GPT it.
[00:52:36] Because if you got to spend your time trying to get old crusty person with no sheets on their mattress and make them believe something, it ain't.
[00:52:43] Why?
[00:52:44] Why are we doing this?
[00:52:46] You hear me?
[00:52:48] It's a distraction.
[00:52:50] And I want you to ask yourself today, if you're in a slump, it's because you've given the wrong voices a front seat in your life. Anytime you're scrolling through something trying to figure out a response, that is a distraction. They called Jesus a blasphemer, a fraud, a demon possessed.
[00:53:16] He was demon possessed. He was a drunkard. They called him a false prophet. And yet Jesus kept healing. He kept teaching. He kept walking. Why? Because purpose is bigger than public opinion.
[00:53:36] How many of y'all need a freedom from that? How many say, Pastor Kim, I need freedom from that.
[00:53:39] I need freedom from needing to feel validated by people that ain't even valid. I need to love, but move strategically. Isaiah 54, 17, listen to what it says. It says, but in that coming day,
[00:53:54] no weapon turned against who? Who? Who? You. He says, no weapon formed against you will succeed.
[00:54:07] You will silence every voice raised up to what? Accuse you. But wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Notice God didn't say who. He didn't say you. He said, he will silence every voice that rises against you. He said he would. So that means we got to stop grabbing battles
[00:54:33] that God never assigned to us. If I got to lose my sleep over it, bye. Some of y'all have insomnia.
[00:54:41] You know why you have insomnia? Because you don't trust God. God created human beings to sleep six to eight hours every night. And ain't it crazy how we will lay awake trying to count the stars.
[00:54:58] we can pray the heavens down but when it really comes time to us to move we get scared scared of what they can't steal your birthday but yet you'll live in this place of of fear he said stop
[00:55:16] grabbing battles that God never assigned to you every minute say every minute spent proving myself to someone is a minute stolen from becoming who God created me to be. Why? Because God's people, we just, come on in. Come on in. My husband gets so irritated at me. He'd be like, girl,
[00:55:40] they don't like you. I'm like, yeah, they do. They love me. Let's invite them.
[00:55:48] But see, when you are connected to God, you are just so free. You don't care.
[00:55:56] You're not insulted.
[00:55:57] You're not offended.
[00:55:59] And you sure ain't manipulated.
[00:56:02] Listen, write this down.
[00:56:05] David never answered his brothers.
[00:56:08] I got to make this quick because I'm out of time.
[00:56:09] Listen, David was out in the field.
[00:56:12] And this is 1 Samuel 17, 28 through 30.
[00:56:15] And go read it yourself.
[00:56:17] David was out in the field.
[00:56:19] His daddy said, go take lunch to your brothers.
[00:56:23] He was Uber Eats.
[00:56:31] he decides I'm gonna go take sandwiches to my brother when he gets out there he sees this big old giant harassing his hundreds and hundreds of tough dudes and he's like what in the world
[00:56:51] are y'all doing he came to deliver food the family didn't see his greatness the family never thought he had anything in him. But because in his season where everyone discounted him, he was learning how
[00:57:09] to pray and fight. He was learning how to believe and fight. He was learning how to build his confidence. And he shows up and he knocks the Goliath out. And because he could knock the Goliath
[00:57:20] out, even his own brother Eliab walks up to him and says, who do you think you are? His own brother.
[00:57:31] You know why?
[00:57:32] Because his brother knew he had something.
[00:57:34] His brother knew he carrying an oil.
[00:57:37] His brother knew there's something in this man.
[00:57:40] A lot of times when people are coming against you, it's because they see something in you that they don't see in themselves.
[00:57:49] And you're going to let them stop you.
[00:57:55] You're going to let them stop you.
[00:57:58] I used to lay hands on myself all the time and say, Lord, let me see myself like the haters see me.
[00:58:02] god let me see myself the way those blogs see me lord let me because maybe when they talk about you and you ain't even in the room there's something on you because usually it's out of sight out of
[00:58:17] mind but when they can take time to build a whole case against you and they don't even know and even worse when they do know you see they know there's something in you the brother goes
[00:58:36] why are you here who is watching the sheep why are you quitting your job you got kids at home that need insurance why are you going after your dream you fell out of school in the eighth grade
[00:58:56] he says why are you here who is watching the sheep Eliab said I know you're just prideful David could have spent all day on Eliab but you know what David saw David was like no no no
[00:59:14] I've got some stones in my hand and I know all I need I don't even need armor you got to put on armor and you still a scaredy cat I don't even got to put no armor
[00:59:26] on cause baby I've been sweating I've been out in the field sitting under a tree trying to keep warm you don't have a clue what I made it through all I need is one stone and I'm gonna take this stone and he's over there the brothers are talking to him
[00:59:41] he tunes them out and he takes that stone and he throws it and he hits him between the eyes there's some of you you've been discounted they thought you were stupid they said nobody would
[00:59:57] ever love you because your teeth they said nobody would ever love you because you can't put complete sentences together they said nobody would ever love you because you dropped out of school they said nobody would ever love you because you're the baby they said nobody would ever love you
[01:00:09] because you've been married a few times trying to get somebody to approve of you but I'm in this room today telling you you are the chosen one you have a call of God on your life always say this
[01:00:26] thieves don't rob empty vaults do you hear me limitless thieves don't rob empty vaults fight you because you're weakling they're fighting you because there's something inside of you and baby I'm here to tell you today
[01:00:42] you ain't too old you ain't too far gone if you could touch the hem of his garment stay standing I'm done if you could touch the hem of his garment when that lady had been bleeding
[01:01:00] for 12 years and people told her you stay in your house don't you come out of your house cause you're defected that's how some of you feel I know there's a call of God on my life
[01:01:14] but because I have a history I can't be used of God that woman was told to stay in the house and when she finally said if I can get to the feet of Jesus I don't even need to
[01:01:26] I don't even need him to lay hands on me if I could just touch him I don't need him to lay hands on me I don't need him to know my name I don't even got to tell him what's wrong with me
[01:01:35] if I could just touch a piece of his cloth I will be made whole it had nothing to do with God and everything to do with her faith she knew my faith with that touch
[01:01:47] that's why the enemy's been stopping you because you carry oil you are slippery you are slippery you are slippery you are oily you know what I started realizing y'all I started realizing that I used to tell God you hate me I must have been bad in baby heaven because anything that could
[01:02:15] go wrong went wrong in my life my heart was always right I wanted so bad for people to love me I tried to be like everybody when I started preaching I would listen to people and God
[01:02:32] and he said and he's gonna do so I could who I would watch them dance still can't get that left leg to move I would do everything I could to turn myself into who I thought I should be by
[01:02:49] them and I remember God kept telling me until you get to a place where you love who I created you to every scar every embarrassing story every embarrassing season every delay every single mistake and you get to a place where you can celebrate you can celebrate the DUI you can
[01:03:12] celebrate in the jail you can celebrate the addiction you can celebrate everything God trusted you with until you get there Kimberly you're never gonna get free I would stay mad like I was going to get a reward for it.
[01:03:30] I carried a fence like I was getting paid for it.
[01:03:40] I would say things like, this is just me.
[01:03:42] Take it or leave it.
[01:03:44] And guess what?
[01:03:45] Everybody left it.
[01:03:48] And it was the greatest thing that happened to me because I hit rock bottom.
[01:03:52] And when I hit rock bottom, I found the rock at the bottom, which was Jesus.
[01:03:56] And he started picking me up.
[01:03:58] I was laying in my bed and I'd be like, God, take this pain away.
[01:04:01] He'd be like, I can't take it away.
[01:04:02] You got to get up and walk away from it.
[01:04:04] that means you got to reprogram your brain you got to begin to stop your bad thoughts you got to stop playing with sin and think i'm gonna save you and you got to start closing some doors and
[01:04:13] you got to start getting comfortable by yourself and you got to get comfortable praising me you got to get comfortable praising god in the middle of church and not caring what nobody thinks about you and here's what i'm telling you limitless people pleasing you not getting invited the
[01:04:35] greatest gift to your life because a lot of times you didn't get invited because your shine was gonna take the whole room one of the greatest gifts was you've been you've been you've been the baby of the family the baby always gets overlooked they're spoiled they're brats and
[01:04:56] they're overlooked and we ain't never wrong and one of the greatest gifts to my life was losing everything at 36 years old and having to pull myself up out of the grave having to pull myself
[01:05:17] up and walk into church and lead praise and worship when I hated God and his children I praised my way from religion into a relationship y'all listen to me the problem with today is we get stuck in a culture where we need people approval some of y'all aren't doing what God told
[01:05:42] you to do because a man or a woman didn't ordain you or speak it into you nobody has given the authority to tell you what you can do and not do for the kingdom of God. Some of you are sleeping
[01:05:55] on your gift. You're sleeping on that business. You're sleeping on that book. You're sleeping on that podcast. You're sleeping on that store. You're sleeping and you're barely making it and you're in, I'm just taking crumbs. I'm taking crumbs. But here at Limitless, we don't take
[01:06:09] crumbs. Here at Limitless, we build our own table. Here at Limitless, we support each other and love each other and push each other and believe in each other do you hear me so this season i want
[01:06:24] i want you to think about it some of y'all this close to losing your marriage it's close it's terrible out in these streets but because we're so afraid of somebody thinking that we need them
[01:06:49] because the last person we shade we needed they left so now we big bad and alone that broken bag don't keep you warm. I've called you for such a time as this, and it starts with
[01:07:15] surrender. And if you're in this place today and you say, Pastor Kim, I get right there and I feel like I hit a wall. Y'all look at me. Church hurt is a real thing. There's humans leading churches
[01:07:34] and all of us are flawed. That does not give anybody permission to hurt you.
[01:07:42] It's your job not to get offended at people. We got to make a point to lead places that we are done with without sabotage it's okay to go to another church it's okay to go to another job
[01:07:57] and it's okay to not even explain yourself but what not is what is not okay is you walking into that next season with the same anger you left with because where God's taking you they need
[01:08:11] you at that church where they need you at that job and a lot of times because we walk in with the scars we don't allow ourselves to really show who we are and so if you're in this room today and
[01:08:22] you say, PK, I've been, I've been putting a muffle on myself. I've been hiding in the back.
[01:08:28] I used to be so outgoing, but now look at me and I'm ready to reclaim that y'all.
[01:08:35] June, the end of this June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
[01:08:41] Look at me. This is your redo. This is your comeback season. This is a season to recalibrate.
[01:08:51] Did you know you could be a millionaire by December? I'm not kidding. You could be married by December and you ain't got a date just like that and if you're in this room today and you
[01:09:06] say BK I've been I've been stopping it I'm so afraid of failure I'm so afraid of messing up I put myself over here in this little box but I'm ready to reclaim it lift up your hand come on lift
[01:09:17] it up I'm ready to reclaim my next season I'm ready for joy to fill my life come on lift it up come on online just drop a one say I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready I'm ready and I need
[01:09:26] you take that head and put it on your head like this say father show me what i need to release show me what i need to release show me who i need to release lord give me spiritual amnesia
[01:09:39] let your power flow through me now say self i forgive you for not knowing then what i know now devil you should have taken me out when you could have because i'm coming back for double for my
[01:09:56] trouble i want restitution say fear go back to hell worry go back to hell and go back to hell where you belong i repent for playing small use me in jesus name amen amen and amen i'm up here
[01:10:21] my king it's our two years how many y'all feel like you got a blessing today like you listen And this is what God does.
[01:10:36] He unlocks you.
[01:10:40] And that's what he's doing in your life.
[01:10:42] Y'all, we've been married two years.
[01:10:50] Man, I love you, baby.
[01:10:51] Aren't y'all so thankful for him?
[01:10:53] Y'all, thank y'all for loving him.
[01:10:56] A whole two years.
[01:11:03] Come on, dance for him, baby.
[01:11:04] Dance.
[01:11:08] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[01:11:08] It's your anniversary, anniversary.
[01:11:14] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_05]
[01:11:14] It's your anniversary.
[01:11:21] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_09]
[01:11:21] I still ain't got his rhythm, but I sure am trying.
[01:11:27] Thank you.
[01:11:30] It's your anniversary.
[01:11:33] Two of the best years of my life.
[01:11:38] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:11:38] I'm so glad that God was able to pivot me.
[01:11:42] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_09]
[01:11:42] Come on, baby.
[01:11:44] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:11:44] So let God use you and pivot all the way up.
[01:11:48] And don't turn back.
[01:11:50] Just keep going.
[01:11:51] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_09]
[01:11:51] Because, baby, when I met you at St. Regents four years ago, you never thought in a million years that you were going to be in church every birthday since.
[01:12:02] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
