The Danger of Decisional Regeneration: A Critical Look at Eschatology and Salvation

The sermon presents a high volume of scripture reading and engaging illustrations regarding the Second Coming. However, it is critically flawed by two major theological errors: a Dispensationalist division of redemptive history that undermines the unity of the Church, and a Critical error in Soteriology that promotes Synergistic Decisionism. The Gospel Engine is technically intact in its verbal presentation, but the application of the Gospel is fundamentally compromised by attributing salvation to human will.

Biblical Parallel (Archetype): Sardis — The sermon exhibits a 'name that it is alive, but is dead' spiritual condition. While it maintains an outward appearance of evangelical activity and eschatological teaching, it fundamentally relies on Synergistic Soteriology and Decisionism. By attributing the decisive moment of salvation to human will (raising a hand, reciting a prayer) rather than the monergistic regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, the sermon presents a dead orthodoxy that lacks the true life of the Gospel.
