🧐 Overview
Theological Verdict & Summary
Sermon Summary: A call to move beyond superficial praise to a life of obedience, warning against the pride that accompanies prosperity.
Pastoral Analysis: While the sermon offers strong practical applications regarding family honor and the dangers of pride, it is fundamentally compromised by a critical theological error in its presentation of salvation. The Gospel Engine is not intact, as the message shifts from God's sovereign grace to human decision, rendering the sermon spiritually dead despite its orthodox exterior.
Biblical Parallel (Archetype): Sardis — The sermon presents a 'name that it is alive, but is dead' orthodoxy. While it maintains the external form of Christian worship and biblical references, it fundamentally compromises the Gospel by teaching Synergistic Soteriology. This error reduces salvation to a human decision dependent on will and acceptance, rather than the monergistic work of God, resulting in a dead orthodoxy that lacks the life-giving power of the true Gospel.
Big Idea: Praise is the necessary antidote to the pride that emerges during times of prosperity, requiring not just lip service but a life of obedience and gratitude that honors God as the source of all blessing. [00:37:00 ▶️ 📄]

🧭 Biblical Alignment Dashboard
Overall Verdict: Fundamentally in Error
| Category | Status | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| Gospel Presentation | ❌ FAIL | The Gospel Engine is not intact. The sermon fails to anchor salvation in God's monergistic work, instead presenting it as dependent on human acceptance and decision. |
| Soteriology | ❌ FAIL | The sermon teaches Synergistic Soteriology, asserting that salvation depends on human will and acceptance rather than God's sovereign grace. |
| Bibliology | ✅ PASS | Scripture is referenced and applied, though the interpretive lens is flawed by the soteriological error. |
| Hermeneutic | ⚠️ WEAK | The hermeneutic prioritizes moral application and human response over the theological foundation of grace. |
| Theology Proper | ✅ PASS | God is acknowledged as the source of blessing, but His sovereignty in salvation is compromised. |
| Sacramentology | ✅ PASS | No sacramental errors detected. |
| Confessional Depth | ❌ SHALLOW | The sermon lacks depth in explaining the mechanics of grace, focusing instead on behavioral outcomes. |
⚙️ The Core Gospel Framework
Why it matters for the final verdict: A complete Gospel framework protects a sermon from becoming man-centered. If a preacher gives commands for good behavior but leaves out the grace and atonement of the Gospel, it often results in a 🔴 Critical or 🟠 Major error for Moralism (teaching human self-improvement rather than reliance on Christ). However, if these Gospel elements are missing simply because the pastor is preaching a highly focused, practical message to mature believers (e.g., instructions on biblical marriage), our system applies a "Safe Harbor" pardon, graciously reducing the omission to a 🟡 Minor error.
✅ The Law And Wrath:
"if you refuse to obey the lord your god now he said that because especially when you get to the prophet, you're going to find God saying this I sent my prophets to tell you over and over and over again." [00:18:31 ▶️ 📄]
✅ Total Depravity And Inability:
"people convinced again which i cannot be saved until i understand in me. I was born corrupt. Come here. Hear what I'm saying here. That is a descendant of Adam." [00:41:44 ▶️ 📄]
❌ Active Obedience Of Christ: Not observed in the sermon.
✅ The Cross And Atonement:
"thank you god for the indwelling of the holy spirit that christ has come to live on this you come to live on the inside of us through the person of the Holy Spirit. So if you give your name, praise, glory, and honor, even right now, in the marvelous and majestic name of our Lord and great Savior, Jesus, who is the Christ, we pray." [00:26:38 ▶️ 📄]
⚠️ Theological Concerns
🔴 Critical Synergistic Soteriology
Root Cause: Semi-Pelagianism
""God I realize I'm not good enough on my own many from your heart to enter into your kingdom there's nothing I can do or say it all because of Christ has atoned for or paid for the sins of everybody in the world and it's a gift the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life that's why everybody can be saved because it's just that easy it is faith in what Christ has done he paid the price for everybody's sin I accept that"" [01:12:20 ▶️ 📄]
The Belief/Behavior: The pastor frames salvation as dependent on human acknowledgment and acceptance, stating 'it's just that easy it is faith in what Christ has done... I accept that.'
Why It's Dangerous: This reduces the Gospel to a human decision, revoking the monergistic work of God and leading the congregation to trust in their own will rather than God's sovereign grace.
Biblical Correction: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
✅ Commendations
Pastoral Application | Practical Honor for Parents
The pastor provides a compelling and culturally relevant application regarding the honor of parents, contrasting financial support with genuine presence and patience, illustrated by the anecdote of visiting a person with dementia.
Homiletical Illustration | The Danger of Spiritual Complacency
The analogy comparing spiritual pride to ignoring pandemic precautions effectively illustrates the deadly nature of self-reliance and the 'depravity of sin'.

[00:05:49] Come on somebody.
[00:05:51] So God give all of us you know, can I say this y'all?
[00:05:56] I think sometimes people think that, and I don't mean you, just in general, you gotta be some kind of special person and sometimes people are embellishing their stories.
[00:06:07] That's why we call it test the lion in some cases.
[00:06:11] Did you catch what I said?
[00:06:12] Rather than testifying, some people are testifying.
[00:06:17] All but honestly.
[00:06:18] See, you can't measure the impact of your story.
[00:06:24] It's not in how loud you are, how eloquent you are.
[00:06:29] I promise that's not what it is.
[00:06:31] When we're genuine, see, that's what counts.
[00:06:35] When we're genuine, it goes right to the heart of another person.
[00:06:40] and it impacts their lives that's why God don't want them trying to be phonies and fake it and be like somebody else be who he made you to be and tell your own story everybody got us through, everybody's been through
[00:06:59] something, God has you can't, I don't believe you can be a child of God without having experienced some miracles somewhere in your life come on somebody it wasn't supposed to happen, you know it wasn't supposed
[00:07:11] to happen you're not supposed to be where you are but god did something to get you to where you are am i right somebody all right that's so let us stand and do the call to worship oh come let us
[00:07:27] worship the lord and let us bow down before god our creator for we are his people and the sheep of his pasture the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers of the father shall worship
[00:07:39] him in spirit and in truth but they are the kind of worshipers the father seeks god is spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Let us pray. Gracious God
[00:07:51] our Father we come now to invoke your presence. We recognize and realize your omnipresence that you are indeed everywhere in time and everywhere at the same time where we ask oh God that you would manifest yourself in terms
[00:08:05] of your shakana glory. That there be a manifestation of your presence so that there be no doubt that you are in the house and in our hearts and in our mind come holy spirit come heavenly dove fall afresh on all of us even at
[00:08:19] this moment in the marvelous and majestic name of our lord and awesome savior jesus the christ we
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_04]
[00:08:25] pray amen amen and our song this morning is yes god is real amen they put this side up so i'm not
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[00:13:52] going to listen to them, amen, they get me all fired up, I'm sure all of them, first of all, as you always hear me say, we all should be fired up before we even get here,
[00:14:04] and I really mean that, amen, I make it clear to every church I pass, it's not my job to be a cheerleader, I don't wear, I don't have pom-poms, amen, you ought to be happy before
[00:14:16] you get here, that's what the word says, am I right somebody, and so if we don't do our part by being happy when we get here don't blame me so I didn't feel anything I did but anyway okay
[00:14:28] okay okay that's enough so our scripture lesson this morning is from Deuteronomy the eighth chapter now we're going to go deeper amen and uh starting at verse 10 I want you to pay close attention because I you know there's many points where I believe that uh we get trapped at and I
[00:14:54] really believe this is what Moses is saying to the children of Israel.
[00:14:58] Now, this is a sticking point where you can get trapped. I believe this is one of those points.
[00:15:05] He's cautioning them.
[00:15:07] Alright? So, Deuteronomy, the 8th chapter, starting at verse 10.
[00:15:13] We'll read 10 through 19.
[00:15:15] When you have eaten and had your fill, like what the NIV said, when you have eaten and are satisfied, be sure to praise the lord your god for the good land he has given you now listen say that again now hear me
[00:15:31] good when you have eaten and had your fill be sure to praise the lord your god for the good land he has given you watch what verse 11 says but that is the time to be careful beware that in your
[00:15:58] plenty you do not forget the lord your god and disobey his commands regulations and decrees that i'm giving you today for when you uh have become prosperous and have built fine homes to live in
[00:16:19] and your flocks and your herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else be careful do not become proud proud at that time and forget the lord your god who rescued you from slavery in the land of egypt do not forget that he led you
[00:16:53] through the great and terrifying wilderness with his poison of snakes and scorpions where it was so hot and dry he gave you water from the rock he fed you with manna in the wilderness a food
[00:17:11] unknown to your ancestors and why is this why god did it not the devil he did this to humble you and test you for your own good he did all of this so you would never say to yourself
[00:17:33] I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy remember the Lord your God he is the one who gives you power to become successful in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath
[00:17:57] but I assure you this if you forget the lord your god and follow other gods worshiping and bowing down to them then you will certainly be destroyed let me just read just got one more verse just as the lord had
[00:18:16] destroyed the other nations in your path you also would be destroyed if you know watch what he says he uses another strong word if you refuse to obey the lord your god now he said that because
[00:18:31] especially when you get to the prophet, you're going to find God saying this I sent my prophets to tell you over and over and over again. Now can I paraphrase what God was saying to them?
[00:18:45] Y'all was just hard headed and you wouldn't listen. Now you ever had I know not our children, you ever known the children to be just be hard headed?
[00:18:54] Come on somebody, huh? And you can tell them over and over and over again. Does it matter? No. They're going to keep doing it right? Until something bad happens. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Everybody knows some other
[00:19:07] folk got hard-headed children. I know we don't. Amen. But we know some, am I right? We've seen them in stores and everywhere else, right? All right. So we'll leave that where it is. Oh, I can tell you
[00:19:21] right now what the subject is going to be. Praise, colon, the antidote to pride. So I know people we think sometimes I don't believe in praise.
[00:19:35] Oh, yes, I do. But I want you to balance it out this morning.
[00:19:41] And I'm just going to tell you right now, God don't mean just lip service.
[00:19:46] I didn't say he don't mean lip service.
[00:19:49] To say it, you know, with the lips.
[00:19:51] But that's praise is so much more involved than just saying something with my mouth.
[00:19:57] Which is where the church has gone today. Just say it with your mouth.
[00:20:02] okay so really you have no choice huh if you're going to be uh do what god tell us to do but to praise him it's not an option anybody listening to me amen i've been studying this
[00:20:28] stuff a long time now i'll study every a whole or order of worship where every element of worship is for and what it is about huh and why we do it in the worship amen somebody i'm telling you
[00:20:41] I can go all the way down the line everything we do is to lead us somewhere amen I can go and tell you right now it prepares for the word oh lord have mercy amen now I until I
[00:20:58] mom I forgot I really didn't but you know what I normally pray at least once every quarter anyway and I feel I need to do that especially beginning of the conference year but please remind me to have that
[00:21:10] conversation because i want to do things properly and in order are y'all with me church amen would y'all be mad if i pray right here amen well you do tell me tomorrow don't bother me today
[00:21:24] by that time you've been to cool off amen okay let's pray gracious god our father we come this morning with thanksgiving in our hearts rather than being so quick and hasty to ask you for
[00:21:40] something else we would have paused and said thank you for what you've already done we didn't bring ourselves through last week into another week it was by your mighty hand of power your grace your mercy and your love that you allowed us to come to the uh the first sunday and another week
[00:22:03] and father we said thank you we realize that we've been through many seen and unseen dangers There's some things we may have been aware of But there are other things We're totally oblivious of We have no knowledge
[00:22:18] Oh God that our lives may have been in danger But at the same time You kept us and you protected us And we pause this morning And say thank you May not feel the best that we
[00:22:34] Always have but Thank you that we feel as well as we do Things can always be worse And so we Thank you God thank you for whatever or however way you blessed us may not be what I want
[00:22:52] but I know it's what I need because you promised to supply all of our needs according to your riches and glory and we say thank you Lord thank you as my father used to say all the time
[00:23:05] for clothing us in our right mind giving us health and strength in our bodies and giving us a mind to come to the house of prayer father we say thank you Thank you for giving us a mind to worship you, for your words are to be praised, and our soul cries out this morning, hallelujah, hallelujah, thank you Jesus for all that you do.
[00:23:33] Feels like the psalm is divided 10,000 times and in our language today, we're 10 zillion times We still couldn't say thanks enough For as we're thanking you for one blessing you've already given us health and strength
[00:23:50] What to say to open our mouth just for that blessing and we said thank you Thank you Lord for Seals Creek Thank you for all of our members bless us oh God as we stand in need of I know sometimes we ask for stuff that we
[00:24:08] may not need and then sometimes we may fail to ask for what we do need so let us be like Solomon this morning oh God give us a discerning heart give us understanding give us a mind oh God to do what you tell us to do and then
[00:24:27] father there be any sickness or disease or whatever among us no matter what the diagnosis may be ultimately the prognosis is in your hands and so we ask oh god by your mighty hand of power
[00:24:45] that you move regulate minds this morning oh god that may be disturbed by something Give us peace That passes all understanding That's just what we live in hurt Somebody may be hurting this morning May be concerned about their loved one this morning
[00:25:12] Pray for them right now We pray for the church everywhere The church oh God Your church Our church But the church that Christ died for To do what thus said the Lord God of Israel
[00:25:30] Help us to be reminded Of what we're called to do To make disciples of all nations and then God we pray that nations will learn to get along and sometimes that is just minding your own
[00:25:45] business and staying out of other folks business and above all we thank you for Jesus who shed his blood on Calvary's cross when we go through our trials and tribulations help us to never be so
[00:26:06] focused on self that we forget about what Christ went through and he didn't have to do it many times we've done things that to bring about our own problems but he did nothing to cause his fact he took over
[00:26:22] our sins oh god and dies for the sins of the whole world so we thank you for jesus this morning and then the part we don't talk much about thank you god for the indwelling of the holy spirit
[00:26:38] that christ has come to live on this you come to live on the inside of us through the person of the Holy Spirit.
[00:26:46] So if you give your name, praise, glory, and honor, even right now, in the marvelous and majestic name of our Lord and great Savior, Jesus, who is the Christ, we pray.
[00:26:56] Amen.
[00:26:58] And for our affirmation of faith this morning, understand there's only one true church, and that is church.
[00:27:09] I want to say that there's only one true church, only one real church.
[00:27:12] I don't know what we call ourselves, Methodist, Baptist, non-denial, I don't get what you call it.
[00:27:18] Whenever you want to call that, it doesn't make no difference.
[00:27:20] If you're a Christian, there's one church.
[00:27:22] Amen?
[00:27:24] You know, sometimes we have so many churches because we can't get along.
[00:27:28] In the body of Christ.
[00:27:31] Let's leave that where it is.
[00:27:33] But there's one church.
[00:27:35] Both apostolic and universal, let us affirm our faith. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, the only Son of our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the
[00:27:48] Virgin Mary, suffered on the Pontius Pilate was crucified dead and buried. The third day he rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
[00:28:00] From then shall come the church to quicken the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
[00:28:12] Amen. You may be seated and we shall give you another selection.
[00:28:16] Y'all ready for me?
[00:28:17] I think y'all ready. I don't want
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_03]
[00:28:20] deprive anybody on Mary.
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[00:35:44] I have no words at all.
[00:35:47] So therefore, dislodge and dismiss everything unlike you.
[00:35:53] Fill me with the Holy Spirit.
[00:35:56] Bring me the complete unction of your Spirit, because you have everything to say that makes all the difference.
[00:36:04] Consecrate our hearts and minds so we will receive the Word and apply it to our daily lives so you will be glorified, Christ magnified the church edified the world evangelized and again Satan is already
[00:36:19] horrified we ask this in the marvelous and majestic name of our Lord and awesome Savior Jesus the Christ amen can we give God some praise for the great choir amen our musicians amen our ushers our
[00:36:34] tech team give God some praise for yourselves amen our graduates it. Amen. Whether they're here or not, we give God some praise for them and children. I think this is Children's Day across our church. We give
[00:36:48] God some praise for our children as well.
[00:36:53] Amen. So again, we're going to deal with the subject matter this morning.
[00:37:00] Praise the antidote to pride.
[00:37:04] Pride is a monster.
[00:37:07] amen my pastor at home used to say sometimes people argue with you all day rather than just saying I'm sorry I was wrong amen amen they'd rather argue you know or they won't admit it I don't know
[00:37:27] I mean I got my notes but I don't know how it's going to be delivered I really don't been wrestling with that and I thought about just walking through the text and that maybe what we're
[00:37:38] going to do to pay attention to what the Lord is saying.
[00:37:41] But this is the point where we are vulnerable and we are likely to go astray.
[00:37:47] I'm generalizing.
[00:37:49] So when God keeps cautioning us on something, he knows what sin, and go back, what sin has done to us.
[00:37:58] See, that's what he's dealing with.
[00:37:59] He knows what sin, like we're doing COVID, and to give us all of these precautions about what to do and what not to do.
[00:38:07] Anybody with me now?
[00:38:08] You know, to keep from getting the virus.
[00:38:11] right you know and how many of us had all these wipes disinfecting wipes come on somebody and you couldn't hardly find it in different places amen and uh to make sure we we had we always had
[00:38:25] some and when we travel we always keep these little wet ones single wipes we've been using those for years anyway because you don't know what you're gonna find on the plane amen and i have one member she's all she never flies without a mask i mean they were long before covid because
[00:38:40] that's a point all kind of germs are still being there you know on the plane that you don't know what you inhaling on the plane but that's what the point I'm trying to make is they were saying that the virus can affect us and where we
[00:38:53] were the vulnerable spots even the identified states that in cities that were more hot spot and Detroit was in Michigan of itself but especially of Detroit was one of those hot spots and I remember after so many people had died maybe
[00:39:11] like 1500 or so and they asked people that were willing to send a photograph of their members or their family loved ones and they put those photographs out there on bail out you can drive
[00:39:22] around and my wife and I did it was just absolutely amazing or maybe I should say devastated to see so many people who have been impacted in terms of death during COVID. And me, honestly, I got
[00:39:39] laid on my heart to close the church before the state ever gave the state of emergency to close it down because I'm aware of what Scripture said, and I'm going to leave that where it is.
[00:39:51] But we had too many folk going around saying that I can go anywhere I want to go. I'm covered by the blood.
[00:39:57] And a lot of folk died.
[00:39:58] saying that too are y'all with me now you know they're not knowing that god had instituted quarantining and those who had leprosy they had to cry out leprosy leprosy so that the people would know don't get too close to them all right and god that's why god put them outside the camp
[00:40:17] so they wouldn't infect anybody else amen amen somebody and so we had to wear masks and all but now i'm gonna get away from all of this stuff and some said they didn't believe in wearing a mask
[00:40:27] because the covid was a hoax and and they died from it but the point is what they were trying to warn us are areas where we could be very vulnerable and to keep from catching it uh we
[00:40:39] need to take these precautions likewise in this text this is exactly what moses is trying to tell the children of israel now remember he's not going but he's giving them some advice the word of god
[00:40:56] and you're always going to hear Mary say this, until the church understand what I call the depravity of sin we'll never take the measures we need to take to correct it or to prevent sin
[00:41:13] from damaging us like it does in other words, folk that didn't understand and wouldn't accept the seriousness of COVID got affected by it, at least many of them did am I right somebody?
[00:41:27] well likewise what people go by is that i am a good person and nobody is good enough to go to heaven and the bible makes it clear that i cannot think without god now think of a good thought
[00:41:44] see that's the problem people convinced again which i cannot be saved until i understand in me. I was born corrupt. Come here. Hear what I'm saying here. That is a descendant of Adam. Well, boom.
[00:42:31] You say, I'm going to take the measures I need to take.
[00:42:33] If I'm convinced I'm so holy and thou, holier than thou.
[00:42:37] Huh? Didn't that David say I was conceived in sin?
[00:42:41] Huh? Come on, somebody.
[00:42:44] Well, you were too.
[00:42:46] Okay, how many of us got perfect parents?
[00:42:49] Well, then you were conceived in sin. Come on now. Talk back. How many of y'all got perfect parents? Nobody, right?
[00:42:59] So that means your parents sinned too, right?
[00:43:01] Come on now, huh?
[00:43:02] Well, they sinned.
[00:43:04] Don't you think you sinned?
[00:43:07] See, why ain't this? We're going to move on.
[00:43:10] Not even Jesus called himself good. When they said, good teacher, why calleth thou me good?
[00:43:18] And watch what he says. There is none good but the Father.
[00:43:24] Now, here's what he's saying.
[00:43:26] All goodness come from God and God alone. If it doesn't come from God, it's not good.
[00:43:34] Use human standards.
[00:43:41] Don't even try something to be better because they feel they're good enough. I'm a good person.
[00:43:45] You have to have a person to not say you believe they're going to heaven. You know what they're going to say?
[00:43:49] I'm a good person.
[00:43:52] Let's move on now from this.
[00:43:54] But this is what's going on in the text.
[00:43:56] Moses is trying to let them know our weak points that when God blesses us, that's our most vulnerable moment.
[00:44:04] I tell you what they tell us as preachers, and God knows it's true.
[00:44:10] I was going to the point where we would preach a powerful sermon.
[00:44:14] Power has gone.
[00:44:22] Come on, somebody.
[00:44:23] When Elijah had his great experience on Mount Carmel, and he came from heaven and stood on the prophets of fire and soaked up the water and lit a fire.
[00:44:45] Elijah got a text from Jezebel saying, by tomorrow this time you shall surely die.
[00:44:50] just what he did ran like a horse see this is what sometimes we don't understand our most vulnerable when god blesses us huh this is what most is going on right now huh and we don't look at it that way i'm again i'm generalized it's always gonna be somebody
[00:45:13] to understand but as a general rule we don't see it that way well but we think god and i really tight now but yeah that's what i'm most vulnerable amen somebody and this is what he's
[00:45:25] trying to tell the people right now when you eat and are satisfied praise the lord huh i know i'm right about it church and let me just go ahead and say it just what i mean i don't know how he's
[00:45:37] gonna come out that when he said praise the lord he's not talking about just lip service saying hallelujah thank you jesus he may follow that but first of all obey the lord your god yes
[00:45:53] The praise, out of the mouths of babes and sucklings, God has ordained praise.
[00:46:00] Yes, praise is always in order with my mouth, also with my actions.
[00:46:08] I should live a life of praise and gratitude to God.
[00:46:14] I have what I have because of the goodness of God.
[00:46:18] I don't act like I always have had what I have right now.
[00:46:22] I don't throw my nose up at other folks who don't have what I have.
[00:46:26] I don't get all arrogant and all that kind of stuff because of where I am,
[00:46:31] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[00:46:31] but I remember that nobody had a thought of me.
[00:46:36] Let me tell you, it's so easy.
[00:46:48] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[00:46:48] See, seeing little women, telling the church, seeing everybody in the world, seeing little women on us.
[00:46:54] And that's why the church put the Bible, I went over this in James, yeah, James the fifth chapter, about what the sins of the sinful nature, He said, they're all of you.
[00:47:05] This is what they are.
[00:47:06] And then it tells us what the fruit of the Spirit is.
[00:47:09] The sinful nature of these things.
[00:47:12] The spiritual nature of these things.
[00:47:15] And it gives you seven fruits of the Spirit.
[00:47:18] Amen, somebody, huh?
[00:47:19] So if I'm all bent out of shape, mad all the time, I need to look and see where that came from.
[00:47:26] That comes from my sinful nature.
[00:47:28] Amen.
[00:47:29] I'm mad and I don't want to work.
[00:47:30] Well, that comes from my sinful nature.
[00:47:32] Now I ask people sometimes, no offense now, but I say, I just can't deal with him.
[00:47:38] Well, you expect me to deal with whatever number of members the church got?
[00:47:41] But you got a problem with my woman?
[00:47:43] Y'all miss that.
[00:47:45] You miss that.
[00:47:46] Amen, amen, huh?
[00:47:47] You got 100 members.
[00:47:49] I got 100 personalities.
[00:47:51] Come on, somebody, huh?
[00:47:53] And you want me to deal with all 100?
[00:47:56] Well, I just can't deal with his woman.
[00:47:59] God, do I miss?
[00:48:00] We don't want to talk now.
[00:48:05] I got one true soldier in here now let me take you you can go to it for yourself let me show you why can we go to can somebody find Matthew the 15th chapter put it up on the screen
[00:48:39] let's go we're going to start verse 1 we're going to scroll down I'm going to show you something when Jesus told them Isaiah was right because he prophesied about you I'm gonna tell you what they were doing. So in the meantime, let me share this with you
[00:48:55] So let's just say but the chair part is me Tram to the trimming and all that stuff like that It's not come with his house and I just tell him sit down and ask for some lemonade
[00:49:09] And just chat with you this picture and tell them what good people they are And then when I give it to me, I don't do any work I just tell them what a good person they are but good people they are what a fine house they have
[00:49:25] and y'all have done all of this but do no work at all do one thing you tell me huh do I honor you am I respecting you no I'm not that's what God is trying to say to us
[00:49:39] when you just open your mouth and that's all you do and you're not doing anything I ask you to do you're not honoring me you don't want to honor me what I'm trying to say now my word is valid when I say they're good people
[00:49:55] or y'all with the church but that's what God's trying to tell the church that's what he is right there I'm sorry church I know I'm not the only one but God knows just for the most part
[00:50:07] this is where the church is today some teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked alright why do your disciples why don't you break the traditions of the elders they do not wash their hands
[00:50:48] before they eat now they've been a ceremonial washing literally washing ceremonial thing they were doing I said why don't they do that? Pharisees now. Watch what Jesus said. Jesus replied, watch this. Why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? You're not doing what God said. How you going to challenge my disciples? You hear what we're going to hear real quick.
[00:51:15] For God said, honor your mother and father, and anyone who curses their mother or father is put to death. Here's what he mean by that. See, I know we got, no, okay, thank God for whatever they got, and they're trying to help us when we get older. But still, in God's name, we're going to say that again.
[00:51:37] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[00:51:37] And sometimes we get a mom and dad contrary.
[00:51:46] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[00:51:46] Yeah, that's a good taste of my own medicine.
[00:51:49] Y'all missed it.
[00:51:51] Now I'm going to talk about how y'all pull it down like that.
[00:51:54] Thank you, Doc.
[00:51:57] Young Richmond Church, really what it means, honor your mother and your father, meaning take care of your parents in the old age no matter what they need.
[00:52:05] And they took care of us in our young age and were patient with us, Amen, somebody.
[00:52:12] And now we got a taste of our own medicine sometime if they act contrary.
[00:52:19] Huh?
[00:52:20] To see what it would like to raise us.
[00:52:28] Some of y'all say, I got some trouble coming.
[00:52:32] Amen.
[00:52:33] Some of y'all say, I done met through some trouble.
[00:52:34] Yeah, God's been through the spirit.
[00:52:36] And say, yeah, that's just how you were as a child.
[00:52:40] That's what he mean, though.
[00:52:41] and to tell you the truth no church responsibility of the church to look out people in the old get there if you live long enough and you got to be patient you know I have people
[00:53:18] I didn't know something I'll be transparent but I like to be prepared but that's why they say be prepared always anyway so I went to see a person and I really didn't know they had
[00:53:28] dementia I really didn't nobody in the family didn't tell me I didn't want to see the person and the person just they were in a home and they kept telling me they had to go to work
[00:53:39] at a certain time. I'm saying to myself that's strange.
[00:53:43] She didn't get it.
[00:53:45] Nothing she was saying was adding up.
[00:53:49] And finally I said well I'm not going to say the city because y'all have been trying to figure out the church. I said well let me just go back to Frankenmuth.
[00:53:58] Well you're in Frankenmuth right now.
[00:54:00] She kept saying to me where I was. I'm not in Frankenmuth.
[00:54:03] I'm about to get under my skin.
[00:54:04] like I don't know where I am I know where I am but you know over time I picked up the problem I really did and what I'm saying is sometimes we can allow people in their state get to us
[00:54:21] you don't want to talk to me and you got to be prepared honestly God before you show up well I'll just tell you what I know because we're not perfect so here's what they were doing let's put
[00:54:39] it back up there here's what they were doing rather than taking care of their parents like We're giving them money, whatever, to take care of their parents.
[00:54:47] Here's what I'm talking about doing.
[00:54:49] I bring a special pledge to the Lord.
[00:54:52] Amen.
[00:54:53] Nothing to me.
[00:55:29] I ain't going to do stuff like that.
[00:55:35] Even said in Sunday school, God don't want time to belong to your family.
[00:55:40] He don't want me giving time to you that belong to my wife and our children and grandchildren.
[00:55:45] Amen or something.
[00:55:45] I'm just telling you.
[00:55:47] And that same thing for you.
[00:55:49] We balance that thing out.
[00:55:51] Amen.
[00:55:52] He want his time.
[00:55:54] but he don't want time to belong to somebody else I just want to be in the house of the Lord 24-7 if you're married you won't have marriage too long you can be there 24-7 by yourself
[00:56:06] but honestly this is what they were doing I'll be through in a minute this is what was going on and so they didn't understand that that's going on so they said so they said if anyone said
[00:56:20] what we might have the money I would have had To give to y'all, to the church.
[00:56:36] I'm not going to say Jesus won't get on with me about that.
[00:56:51] The word of God for the seven years to come.
[00:56:54] Kick my commandment out.
[00:56:55] You replaced it with something to make your mom and your daddy need you.
[00:57:04] And you're not there for that.
[00:57:06] You're not one of the Ten Commandments, honor your mother and your father.
[00:57:10] It doesn't mean just don't curse them out.
[00:57:22] And Lord knows we're in a time now where, I mean, I know parents are greatly dishonored.
[00:57:28] These kids now, and I'm with the kids, some of them are grown folks.
[00:57:32] But talk to their mom and daddy any kind of way.
[00:57:34] I don't care how wrong they are you still owe them respect I'm going to go on I'm going to keep coming down there you see the church got to get back to these basic things
[00:57:48] what those things mean so you got folks that come to church and I'll see them do it jump up and shout and praise God but don't respect them they got it going on they can't get what they want
[00:58:13] amen somebody and just talk down and talk to them any kind of way.
[00:58:20] You're just driving a greater way between you and God.
[00:58:25] And somebody's got to start teaching it, that you can't talk to, in fact, you can't, in the context of Scripture, you can't talk to folks older than your parents any kind of way.
[00:58:37] Come on now, y'all better talk back to me, huh?
[00:58:41] There's a lot of respect that's due them.
[00:58:44] This is what God's trying to tell Israel.
[00:58:46] Bam! Let me just read on and we'll be through. Watch what he says now. So he's going to tell them Isaiah was right about you guys.
[00:58:58] I want you to see it from him and we'll wrap it up.
[00:59:06] It's Matthew 15 chapter. Same one we had up. Just show a little down.
[00:59:12] Okay. Okay.
[00:59:14] We don't. So you nullify what he said now. So you run on the word of God. The word of God in your mind has no effect because you're not doing anything it says.
[00:59:22] Now watch this. You hypocrites.
[00:59:24] Isaiah prophesied now he's giving me the quote directly from Isaiah because that's what Israel was doing in their time watch what he said Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you watch this now these people honor me with their lips
[00:59:38] but their hearts are far from me huh you see what I'm trying to say church lips yes I shall honor you one of the songs I'll give you a couple of them but one is holy holy
[01:00:00] holy it says all thy works shall praise thy name and i didn't see and then i was looking up make sure i had it right there's a fountain filled with blood there's a pause that then in a nobler
[01:00:14] sweeter song we'll sing thy power to sing we sing because we're happy whenever there's something great going on we sing even when something bad goes on we sing the blues bb king said the thrill
[01:00:28] is gone. Y'all act like y'all don't know what's in that thing. I didn't forget. I ain't forgotten you. You think I forgot didn't you? I didn't forget. Don't go look it up either. B.B. King just said the funeral
[01:00:39] is gone. Huh?
[01:00:41] And somebody, a woman left him or whatever.
[01:00:44] And a lot of times when somebody we have a breakup, we'll go back and play those breakup songs. Breakup to make up. That used to be a song too.
[01:00:52] Huh? Y'all, okay.
[01:00:55] You know I've been around church folks all my life so I know what you're saying. Huh?
[01:00:59] And, but the point of that we're singing is a part of who we are it's also shown in my life help me somebody huh if i say i trust god he'll make a way somehow i want to trust god when i don't see my way
[01:01:30] worked it out for me what i want not just want you to see that god is real in my life
[01:01:49] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:01:49] be about it that's what god is trying to say you praise his name let everything that has breath Praise Him with the piano. Praise Him with the organ. Praise Him with the keyboard. Praise Him with the flute. Praise Him with the trumpet. Praise God with the harp. Praise Him with everything. Let everything have breath. Because He was there to be praised. Yes, the church ought to praise Him. Every Sunday we ought to praise Him.
[01:02:23] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[01:02:23] But before I take the church on Sunday
[01:02:27] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:02:27] I should already be praising God My life Should be a praise unto God Not just my lips Not just my mouth But my heart and my mind And my hands and my feet
[01:02:40] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[01:02:40] Every part of me should be a praise unto God That's what God's trying to say And this is what Moses is saying In this text That's why he ties it on I have to cut it off
[01:02:53] That's why he ties it on He dealt with the commandment.
[01:02:57] They just read it.
[01:02:59] Amen.
[01:03:01] And this is what he said.
[01:03:06] Let me read directly from the Bible.
[01:03:09] Y'all see this?
[01:03:09] I'm not trying to bother you with what I do.
[01:03:11] Thank God for technology.
[01:03:15] This is this chapter.
[01:03:17] And I separate certain things to make sure I can glance at it.
[01:03:21] It's right there.
[01:03:23] So you can see the different colors.
[01:03:24] They're not rainbow.
[01:03:28] Okay.
[01:03:30] Y'all know I like to have fun.
[01:03:32] so Dr. Nita this morning Pope Nita was trying to tell me she had sent me a text this morning she got my so I reached in my and got my phone and I go I didn't know where she was
[01:03:46] I had my phone too okay but I promise I'm going to say this so let's go now I'm reading yeah so let's go through the scripture again that we put up this morning when you're eating
[01:04:03] and had your fill be sure to praise the lord your god for the good land now this is what he said next in verse 11 be careful i'm sorry but this is the time to be careful you see that when we've been blessed by god
[01:04:21] so here's the deal this is what sin did to every last one of us myself included and i'm guilty of it at times when i'm catching hell or going through stuff i tend to pray more i tend to
[01:04:42] focus on the Lord more come on somebody huh when I know I can't get myself out huh let's see that broken human nature and what I treat because discipline really in a small group discipleship
[01:04:55] doctor it really designed that I'm disciplined to have that prayer life no matter what are y'all with me good and bad time it doesn't matter what's going on in my life I still pray unto God.
[01:05:11] And so, and then he said, because when we're satisfied, we think we have arrived. But let me just read on what he said. But this is the time to be careful. Beware that in your planter you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey
[01:05:26] his commands following, I'm sorry, regulations and decrees I'm giving you today. What's the part I want?
[01:05:34] okay let's go down to verse 14 do not become proud in your heart here's the part yeah do not become proud at that time and forget the lord your god who rescued you from slavery now here's what he
[01:05:49] said do not become uh uh uh forget forget for now i'm going to close it out on this note you ain't getting no upbeat note today it's just the way it is to forget god see it doesn't mean a
[01:06:01] total lapse of memory y'all should have heard me say that a thousand times that's what people tend they think. That's not what he's saying.
[01:06:07] I promise that's not what he's saying.
[01:06:09] Don't you know Israel were conscious, mentally aware. God had brought them out of the wilderness and all that stuff.
[01:06:17] Come on now. Don't you think that?
[01:06:20] Yes, they were.
[01:06:20] It wasn't a lapse of mental memory that he's dealing with. He said, in your heart, you will forget how you got to where you are.
[01:06:34] That's really what he's trying to say.
[01:06:35] if I don't praise him and with actions he said I will forget that it was obedience unto God's word that got me in the promised land in the first place come on somebody that's why the first generation didn't get there
[01:06:54] because they disobeyed God and that's why he said he led you in this wilderness all these 40 years to test you to see what was in your heart whether or not you will follow his commandment.
[01:07:10] So it's obedience to God's commandment that got me the blessing so I can praise him.
[01:07:16] But if I forget to obey God, help me somebody, huh?
[01:07:20] I stay in the mess that I'm in.
[01:07:24] So if you say you're going to praise your way out, you're going to pray your way out.
[01:07:30] Now you got obedience included in your praise, okay, that's fine.
[01:07:35] But yes, open your mouth and praise God.
[01:07:38] I said open your mouth and praise God everybody
[01:07:42] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_02]
[01:07:42] every Sunday thank you Jesus for keeping me
[01:07:49] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[01:07:49] and blessing me and taking care of me I didn't take care of myself you did it amen we're going to come back to this praise thing alright because there's a lot in praise amen that's why there's certain songs we sing
[01:08:11] every song is not a praise song I'm going to leave that I'm not saying but I've had to teach people sometimes I said give us a song of praise I will trust in the Lord
[01:08:21] that's not a praise that's what you're going to do that's your response to a praise I didn't say a song a praise song y'all know it in all our worship we have places we sing songs of praise
[01:08:35] exactly why don't answer me you go study I'm serious why is it in certain places in the worship we sing songs of praise why is it when we open the worship there's songs of praises is anybody
[01:08:51] singing somebody done me wrong song huh come on we cry y'all sing praise song yeah you do you do you do okay I'm saying think about it I'm through y'all give me an amen I can be through
[01:09:03] huh when you open we will be open to worship but why because God we approach him with praise somebody missed it we approach God with praise not begging not begging and he may be gracious enough to grant us the what I'm going to tell you
[01:09:34] when we talk about worship amen you're always coming for his presence with singing amen amen come on y'all talk back church and so we ought to be okay let's close it out Invitation is extended to receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior.
[01:09:54] Christ wants to come into our hearts.
[01:09:57] Thank you.
[01:09:58] I've got one soldier.
[01:09:59] Amen.
[01:10:00] Two, three, four, five.
[01:10:02] All right, now.
[01:10:04] But Christ wants to come into our lives.
[01:10:06] He wants, yes, he wants our praise.
[01:10:10] We should praise him.
[01:10:11] We owe him praise.
[01:10:13] He's due our praise.
[01:10:14] Oh, yes.
[01:10:16] But if I just give lip service alone, it doesn't mean if I don't do my work or do what he asked me to do.
[01:10:23] If I disobey my parents, if I just say to my brothers, we got sisters, yeah, they help.
[01:10:29] We shouldn't even have to rely on them.
[01:10:31] Mom got enough boys.
[01:10:33] I really mean that.
[01:10:34] She has enough boys that if she thinks she wants something, we should be able to get it to her because of all she's done for us.
[01:10:44] Nine boys and three girls.
[01:10:46] And when we grew up, the boys did the outside work and the girls did the inside work.
[01:10:51] Huh? Anybody know what I'm talking about?
[01:10:54] And so I'll tell you, cooking, you imagine cooking for all of us. You know what she would do sometimes? We'd all be in the field together. Sometimes my dad would work in a construction job, and sometimes dad would be in there.
[01:11:04] But I'm just telling you the truth. But there are times that we all would go to the fields together.
[01:11:09] First of all, she'd already got them to cook breakfast.
[01:11:11] We'd get up. Breakfast is ready.
[01:11:13] We'd eat. We'd go to the fields together.
[01:11:15] She'd come home about, go home about 11 o'clock and put on lunch. Huh? Y'all Y'all don't hear what I'm saying, huh?
[01:11:23] And she's cooking and washing and doing everything else.
[01:11:25] And then about 2 o'clock or 2.30, depends on how hot it was, we all go back to the fields together, and we all quit together.
[01:11:35] Now, you say, God, I want to hear anything come out of my mouth.
[01:11:43] If my mom had needs and we didn't attend to them, when I come to church, let's tell the church I got a sermon.
[01:11:51] God said, I'd like to know who you got it from because you didn't get it from me.
[01:11:54] you go back and take care of your mother first then come back are y'all with me church alright you got it so invitation everything starts with relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ Christ wants to come in every heart
[01:12:10] it's not having your name on the church road that's going to matter it is do you have a relationship and it's easy all people all we have to do is acknowledge Jesus as the Christ
[01:12:20] in other words God I realize I'm not good enough on my own many from your heart to enter into your kingdom there's nothing I can do or say it all because of Christ has atoned for or paid for
[01:12:34] the sins of everybody in the world and it's a gift the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life that's why everybody can be saved because it's just that easy it is faith in what
[01:12:46] Christ has done he paid the price for everybody's sin I promise it's just accepting that I accept that you require me to sing invitation is extended there's someone on virtual platforms please put your information
[01:13:03] so we can get it amen and someone will watch over it look at check it out and make sure we get the information so we can respond to you anyone want to rededicate their lives
[01:13:13] to commit their life to commit to this local church join this local church this is your moment to come choir we're singing
[01:13:19] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_13]
[01:13:19] okay
[01:13:56] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[01:13:56] what's it going to be I'm going to say when or when it's going to be.
[01:14:03] I'm going to say where.
[01:14:05] I meant where.
[01:14:06] Huh?
[01:14:08] Okay.
[01:14:13] Anyone else want to come?
[01:14:14] Come for prayer, salvation, your choice.
[01:14:18] Amen.
[01:14:18] Thank you.
[01:14:21] Come in for prayer yourself.
[01:14:27] Will you come in for prayer yourself?
[01:14:29] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_07]
[01:14:29] You may be seated.
[01:15:12] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[01:15:12] Thank you, choir.
[01:15:13] We're two people.
[01:15:15] I don't say what it is.
[01:15:16] This is people give permission.
[01:15:18] Okay.
[01:15:18] So, Sister Cornelius Tanya has come for prayer.
[01:15:27] She's having surgery Wednesday.
[01:15:30] We want God to cover her and take care of her.
[01:15:35] Amen.
[01:15:37] And then you're coming up to support.
[01:15:40] Yeah, thank you.
[01:15:41] So let me say this because I was going to say it, and thank you for coming down.
[01:15:44] Just everybody in the church, whenever someone comes up for prayer, somebody else please come to support.
[01:15:49] Amen.
[01:15:50] Sometimes just standing with somebody means a lot to them.
[01:15:55] Amen.
[01:15:56] So it's just a little thing we're teaching.
[01:15:59] Sister Dr. Shante, she has come to pray for the event, June 10th event on Friday, because you did say that there was a death threat.
[01:16:12] There's a threat.
[01:16:14] And you've got to realize the time.
[01:16:16] I'm not trying to polarize.
[01:16:17] I will never do that.
[01:16:18] but I'm going to tell you the truth because this is what I see and have seen all of my life and nothing has changed racism never went anywhere in this country now you do everybody know you always got some great people
[01:16:32] there were people of other persuasion part of the underground railroad and I'm going to leave that way are y'all with me church and it helped us along the way that's true some of them got
[01:16:43] killed in the civil rights movement too are y'all with me now so that is yeah that's always been the case and never polarized and made all the people of other persuasion a certain way.
[01:16:53] I would never do that because it would be false.
[01:16:55] There was some person of another persuasion gave Zion almost 300 acres of land in Massachusetts.
[01:17:05] We call it Camp Barber.
[01:17:07] Did you all hear what I said?
[01:17:09] And even other places people did that.
[01:17:13] So we've always have had people.
[01:17:15] Booker T. Washington went to London and other places to raise money to build the buildings at Tuskegee.
[01:17:21] So we always have had that.
[01:17:23] All right?
[01:17:24] But I'm just letting you know, but you still got some, understand, that still got the issue and they still want to threaten us.
[01:17:36] So we do have to pray.
[01:17:38] All right?
[01:17:39] Amen.
[01:17:39] You coming to support?
[01:17:41] Amen.
[01:17:41] Okay.
[01:17:42] It's a support.
[01:17:43] Okay.
[01:17:44] Let us pray.
[01:17:45] Gracious God, our Father, we come in the awesome name of Jesus.
[01:17:49] our sister is getting ready to go through surgery we thank you for the expertise of the doctors the nurses the hospital staff in general but then more than anything we thank you that you're the chief physician
[01:18:11] we ask for God please sir guide them in everything that they do let everything go perfectly well let them be amazed how well things went so your name is glorified so we pronounce healing and deliverance even right now
[01:18:38] in Jesus name if there be any concerns and I think she's good but reassure her that you got this and we say thank you even right now we praise your name right now God for a good outcome
[01:19:01] our soul cries out hallelujah thank you for what you've already done in jesus name we ask and then lord we come to celebrate friday national holiday to remember our ancestors who went through gruesome acts of slavery and so
[01:19:29] many other things and we come to celebrate oh god that you granted us freedom for the song want to acknowledge it or not but we at least be free from chains unchain our minds and our
[01:19:45] hearts oh god to match unchanged hands and feet so as we ask oh god you provide a covering for us all over the nation and world as we come to celebrate juneteenth thank you so much for our
[01:19:59] sister bringing it to us oh god that we don't forget that we still need your protection and And so we bless every gathering right now is in the mighty, marvelous name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christ.

[01:20:18] Thank you all so much. God bless you.
[01:20:21] We're going to offering all things come of the old Lord and of thine own.
[01:22:06] Have we given the announcements? I know we do.
[01:22:41] And sister, you want to play your video? You give it to them.
[01:22:48] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_06]
[01:22:48] You're going to do it. OK. Good morning, church.
[01:22:55] If you recall, last week I said that the first quarter is coming to an end.

[01:26:27] church I want to make sure I'm going to be up here every Sunday until after the portal period I want a point of clarification last Sunday when I was clarifying I said something about the tickets
[01:26:40] I did make the call to Brother Wilkins The tickets are $13, $13, and I'm going to put myself out there for anyone, like I said, I'm coming from New Hope.
[01:26:54] If you're in the route, I'm going to drop some plates off.
[01:26:57] It's probably 11, 3, or 12 o'clock in that time, but I got to do, me and Stacy are going to do our shift.
[01:27:03] We got to do our working shift, then we'll get after that shift.
[01:27:06] I'll bring the plates coming down from New Hope.
[01:27:08] That way, if you want to go get your plate, I give you a ticket.
[01:27:14] You got to have a ticket to get it if you want to go get it and pick it up yourself.
[01:27:18] Other than that, let me know today or next Sunday.
[01:27:22] The money is due the 22nd.
[01:27:25] You let me know, but the money is due the 22nd, and we'll write a church check.
[01:27:29] But that treasury guy right there, we're not going to write a check until the money is there.
[01:27:36] so I'm counting you get the money in by the 21st that Sunday before I can write that check and get it in place if you want a plate though I'm going to step out and say this
[01:27:48] for those of y'all that may not have the money I don't want my church ain't going to be one of those churches if you can pay yourself pay yourself but if you want a plate
[01:28:01] we at Sears Creek are not going to let somebody go hungry over no $13 dollars. I put that in my heart. If you want just come to me. Just say hey Jeff I want a plate.
[01:28:13] Can you handle it? We'll handle it.
[01:28:15] So I want everybody. I want the church to know that it's going out there. If you can pay yourself, pay yourself. Be blessed. If you're a little short because I understand the times.
[01:28:23] The times are real. But we ain't going to let nobody go hungry in this church.
[01:28:27] Alright. Thank you.
[01:28:32] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_07]
[01:28:32] Happy Sunday church. Y'all missed me last Sunday. I missed being up here.
[01:28:38] So So, five days and counting, we will be celebrating our third annual Juneteenth Festival in Kannapolis.
[01:28:47] I'm super excited about it.
[01:28:49] We're doing something right for the buzz that we've had in the city.
[01:28:57] We do have a lot of exciting things planned for those who will be joining us.
[01:29:01] Our program is always in Veterans Park downtown, and this year it will be from 3 p.m. to 9 but we have other things as well I'm glad you asked what those were also in the ballpark we'll have what we call the org fair so there'll be organizations
[01:29:18] and nonprofit organizations where you can learn some information but one of our community sponsors who's also a part of my community Belto enrichment center they'll be providing free until it's gone cotton candy and snow cones but in
[01:29:34] the ballpark starting at 7 p.m. from 7 to 9. Remember, the Titans will be playing. We invite folks to go there, have your blanket if you want to literally sit out in the outfield, but you can also sit in the stadium chairs as well. Then, for those of us who are going
[01:29:53] to be ready to relax after being in Veterans Park, we'll also have a saxophonist playing, and that'll be actually on the terrace of stadium loss so you literally will go through a restaurant and go up the stairs there's also an elevator for
[01:30:08] those who may have challenges with steps but we'll be on the terrace from 8 p.m.
[01:30:13] to 11 p.m. again yes there's some overlap however we hope that you join us in some capacity despite all the not-so-great comments we it's a lot more positive and And we are looking forward to bringing these events, these festivities to you all.
[01:30:32] So I hope to see you all at some point this Friday.
[01:30:36] And we do have a video that we, several folks in community, actually made or are part of at 2024.
[01:30:46] We will play that if you can just hold tight for those who are with us physically.
[01:30:51] And we'll play that very short video.
[01:30:53] And happy Juneteenth in advance.
[01:30:55] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_11]
[01:30:55] get even in church on today we want to give recognition to our graduates from high school and from college and some of you may know and some of you may have seen them but we all did so as a church family I'm going to ask the graduates if
[01:31:17] they will put on a little hat and yeah Jay's gonna play some music and if you just watch up here so we can see you again you know those are we that did not get to see you you know so we can tell you how we feel it also so if you can do

[01:35:59] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_11]
[01:35:59] I'm very proud of each and every one of you, but I'm going to pass it to him.
[01:36:07] The pleasure.
[01:36:08] I was just going to shake their hands.
[01:36:09] No, I'm going to let you go ahead and present it to them.
[01:36:12] Say the last words, but I think you got something to say.
[01:36:15] I don't know what I have.
[01:36:16] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_10]
[01:36:16] Okay, all right.
[01:36:17] Two, three, four.
[01:36:24] [SPEAKER SPEAKER_12]
[01:36:24] I want congratulations to all three of you.
[01:36:28] Amen.
[01:36:29] We celebrate your accomplishments.
[01:36:34] And for those, you've been there, so praise God for what you've accomplished.
[01:36:39] You all are getting ready to go.
[01:36:42] Truly, it's what you make it.
[01:36:45] You're going to run up on all kinds of people.
[01:36:49] Choose your crowd or your friends carefully, very seriously.
[01:36:55] I've seen many come and go.
[01:36:57] I've seen some get hung up with their own crowds and didn't do so well.
[01:37:01] We're going to be praying for you.
[01:37:04] Come back to see us.
[01:37:05] If I got a dollar, just look like you need something.
[01:37:08] I promise if I got a dollar, I'll give you a dollar.
[01:37:11] Amen.
[01:37:12] So just look like, don't look like you're doing too well now.
[01:37:15] Because I may have my hand out.
[01:37:17] All right, that's joking, that's joking.
[01:37:18] But really, we want to see you through.
[01:37:21] And when we give you something, it's just to say to you, we want to encourage you to do all that you can do.
[01:37:27] Amen.
[01:37:28] So do you all mind if I say a prayer for them briefly?
[01:37:32] Gracious God, we ask your blessings upon our graduates, all of them.
[01:37:35] Thank you for the accomplishment of our brother that just graduated.
[01:37:39] But Sister Kaylin and Brother Tristan, that you would be with them, oh God, as they go to college.
[01:37:50] Prepare their hearts and minds.
[01:37:52] Keep them on the right track.
[01:37:54] Help them to grasp the concepts of what being taught.
[01:37:57] Help them to do very well in school, at least cum laude, magna cum, or summa cum laude.
[01:38:05] Amen.
